The Scar Pirates Chapter 1: Making A Name

fiona said to jason as she crawled after him "my previous master slashed the back of my knees because im not allowed to stand up and i did so" she was wandering where they would be when they found a doctor .

Blane was happy with his two new crew members. First of all Hughes seemed a hell of a fella. And Deer was amazing. The fear of attention might come in Blane's goal's way but they should be able to move past it.
"Happy to hear that crew!" He said, it felt great to have a crew at last. He walked to the counter and took a few bottle of champagne out. The bartender had no problem with the chaos Blane caused, it was a normal procedure at Takoma island. "Let's celebrate!" He said, releasing the caps of both bottles and took a beer keg from the side of the bar. "Have as many as you like friends, it's on the house! Right?" Blane asked while he turned to the nodding bar tender.
He gestured to a table, asking his new nakama to sit. "I'll go check something for a sec...." Blane said. He walked to the door and looked outside. "HEY!" He shouted at Jason and Fiona. "If you're still looking for a doctor I'm pretty sure 'The Wing' has some medical supplies!". He signaled the two to come back inside. 'The Wing' did have a vary of medical supplies that the bar had to hold because of the non-stopping violence on Takoma.

Jason made a little sad face and hugged Fiona once again. "You poor girl bach! Your old boss must if been a real meanie!" he sobbed, with snot sliding down from his nose. He then saw their possibly new captain, telling them where they could get a few medical supplies. "Okay maybe new boss! Let's a go Fiona!" the large chef said, imedietly changing his sudden sadness into even more sudden happiness, and placing Fiona on his shoulders. "Piggy back! Oink Oink!" he said cheerfully, carefully entering the tavern, ducking low to avoid Fiona hitting her head on the dorr frame.

fiona was surprised that jason was so nice to her she then said "thanks you are the nicest person i ever met" she said this with meaning but it wasnt hard to be the nicest person she could remember. fiona decided to have fun when she could covered his eyes and let him see again multiple times and started to tickle him trying to make him laugh. she thought if i could get a violin then i would be able to make nice music.

Back inside the bar Blane asked the bartender for some bandages and some antiseptics. He placed them on the table of the gang. It seemed that Jason and Fiona were close and he decided to let them handle Fiona's injuries since he thought that Fiona was slightly afraid of him.
"Ok crew!" He opened, gesturing for everyone to settle in their sits and have a drink. "Before we move on to the reason why I've started this crew I have a couple of questions!". He turned to Jason and Fiona before asking his first question. "Have you considered joining me?". He than turned to Deer and Fiona separately. "Do you guys drink?" He asked. He wasn't sure since Deer was a cyborg so there was no way to know if he drank and Fiona was a child so she probably didn't like alcohol. He than thought of something and shook his head. "On second thought, why won't we all introduce our selves?"

Meanwhile on the other side of Takoma

A ship anchored on the east port of Takoma island. It was a marine ship, teh first to dock at Takoma in the last decade. As expected, many pirates gathered around it to wait and see the brave pirate who stole a marine vessel since it was impossible for marines to enter Takoma. Unfortunately for them, the ship was manned by marines...

Hughes took a seat at the table drinking yet another jug of beer. Today was a good day. He found himself a crew, was drinking his second cup, and got to use his sword all in one day. All in All it was a perfect day. Hughes sleathed his sword. The captian wanted them to introduce themselves, so Hughes decided to speak

"My name is Hughes Cutlass, swordsman, at your service. I have been a pirate since I was a baby raised on the ship of the Drunkyard pirates. My dream is to become the world's greatest swordsman."

deer looked surprised when blane asked him if he could drink. still in his animal form he said "no, sorry, but i cant really drink." walking up to blane he looked left and right and asked "i could of sworn that the monkey was around here somewhere." looking around again he tried to find the lost monkey.

hearing hughes introduce himself deer decide to stop his little search. turning he said "its a mouthful, but my full names deer/human zoan replica version 0.556. you guys can call me deer though. im a robot prototype created by the goverment to help bring pirates in, but like i said, a prototype. they made me a little too smart and i decided to be a free bird. so ill be happy to guide you through the grandline." finishing up he smiled for his new crew and continued his exepidition for the lost monkey.

as Fiona tickled Jason, he kept giggling girlishly as he carried her in, and placed her carefully on the table. He then saw a pile of medical stuff nearby and awkwardly bandaged Fionas legs, and due to his medical inexperience, her whole body, as well as feed her a few pain killers that clearly marked n their container. He then listened to a cyborg and another man anounce themselves, before he joined in and said as if a chid was struggling to recite a poem; "I'm Jason! My mummy tought me how to cook, and I really like cooking so I cook a lot, and I want to make my own famous dish, and I can fight bad guys with a giant rolling pin and a giant frying pan, and I like lots of other stuff too!" He then looked down at his feet saddly for a moment before adding; "but I lost all my cooking things a bit ago and been working as a travelling chef again."

Seeing how Jason introduced himself, Blane decided he did choose to join the crew. "Good to have you aboard men! So far we have ourselves a navigator and a cook!"
"As for me, my name is Blane D. Jones, wanted for 5,000,000 belis, although I'm planning on making that number grow in no time, and I am too a swordsman.". Blane then produced a weird whistling sound and Bobby, who was lurking behind the bar, jumped up and raced to Blane's shoulder. "Bobby Bobby!" The monkey shouted, showing off his limited vocabulary. "And this, is our gunner Bobby" Blane said. He then waited for Fiona to decide if she was to join the crew or not before he started explaining the situation.


A pile of injured pirates was scattered around the east port. On the dock, a man in a wheelchair was reading a file titled "Blane D. Jones". The man had a light brown hair and was wearing a marine uniform decorated with various rank badges. Beside the man, a woman stood, wearing a formal marine uniform, with her black hair flailing behind her back and a pair of glasses on her nose, and various marines were scattered around the dock, invading the town. "Any orders captain Mustang?" The woman asked the man in the wheelchair. The man in the wheelchair closed the file and turned to his assistant. "Find Blane".

fiona got most of the bandages and didnt say anything about jason making a mistake and crawled back onto his shoulders her knees not healed yet. she said to the captain "im willing to serve until my death though i dont have much of a choice and said to jason" im sure you will get some more soon" she smiled to him sweetly.

"Ok gang!" Blane opened, it felt good to have company after traveling around the grand Line on his own for so long. "I'm afraid we have no time to rest yet".
He then sat near his new crew and lifted the heavy sack of gold to a nearby table. "This, my friends, is a sack. Inside it... I have 5 million bellis worth of stolen gold" He said, with an ear to ear grin.
"I'm rich! I'm rich!" Bobby shouted from Blane's shoulder, showing his vocabulary once again. "Not yet Bobbo!" Blane said to the gunner. "We have one last problem before we can spend this gold". Blane said, turning to his crew. "I stole this gold, from the marines". Blane wasn't sorry for stealing the gold, this crime was about to boost his bounty up and spread his name around Takoma, and from there, around the grand Line. "The problem is, thanks to the marine ring the circles Takoma, I can't leave now".
"And that's where you guys come in" Blane said. "WE, are gonna escape Takoma".
"They're here!!!" A shout was heard from the outside. A pirate came running into the bar, breathing heavily and holding his knees to rest from a long run. "The marines! The marines entered Takoma!" He said.
Hearing the man's words, Blane was left speechless. He thought that marines couldn't enter Takoma. Unless, they managed to beat all pirates that ambushed them. After a quick brain storm, Blane decided upon his course of action. "Guys, my ship docks at the west harbor, if we race there, we might be able to avoid the marines..." He said, lifting the sack on his back and going for the door. "Hell if we'll be lucky, these marines might have just left a hole in the ring for us to escape through, we better hurry" He said, waiting for his crew to follow him.

Meanwhile, in the west harbor of Takoma island

"Captain..." A man said. He was talking to a small Den Den Mushi snail that he wore on his wrist. "We have located Blane's ship I repeat, we have located Blane's ship at the west harbor." The blond man said. He was wearing sunglasses and his marine uniform lacked sleeves, showing his muscular arms.
Behind him, another marine was busy beating up a pirate who attempted a run for it. He had a messy black hair and he wore a black trench cote over his uniform.
Another marine was standing near Blane's small ship, inspecting the cheap woodwork. "This guy is blessed with luck from heaven if he managed to make it to Takoma on this bucket..." he said. The man was extremely tall and bulky, at least 3 meters tall, with a bold head. On his shoulders, an extremely short man sat. He was bold as well and his mouth was hidden under a bushy white mustache.

Hughes laughed what a fool his captain was stealing gold from the marines, but hey they were pirates. Thats what they do, Hughes followed his new captain out of the bar "I hope you have a ship, because these marines would let us escape on foot." Despite how dangerous this could be hughes couldn't help but to smile. He hasn't had this much FUN in awhile.

Jason grinned happily as Fionna reassured him they would find a large frying pan and rolling pin. "Yay! I get my tools back! Or new ones! Good thing too because punching things hurts!" He babbled happily, then listening to his new captain. He then nodded cheerfully and said; "Okay let's go and run away from the mean marine peoples! Ummm which way is west again?", looking around confused, with a great amount of concentration on his face.

fiona whispered in jasons ear and said "this way" she pointed west so jason could see because she wanted to get away from the marines because she was very scared due to her slavery for over 5 years under one she tried to get little attention from the marines.

deer was shocked of what his new captain had done. then again it was a perfect plan, but there was no time for that now. given the que he rushed out of the bar with the crew. to tell truth he was scared of what the marines who new what he was would do to him if they caught him, 'nonsense' he thought too himself, but still that hint of doubt made him speed up a little bit.

As the crew ran through Takoma various horrors came to sight. Ships were burnt down in the docks and pirates were bleeding in the streets. This trail of destruction was heading for the west harbor, where the Fair Maiden was docking. The old ship came into sight after a few minutes of running. It was wooden ship who has seen brighter days, the paint was crumbling and the single cannon on board was rusty as hell. The sails were dirty and the deck screeched every time a wave hit the shore.
"I think we made it on time! Come o..." Blane's words were cut off by a gunshot, fired about 50 meters away from the crew and hit about a meter in front of Deer's legs. Blane stopped and gestured his crew to do as he did.
"Blane has arrived captain, and he has some company..." said a blond man with sunglasses who stepped into the scene. "Any major bounties?" A voice said, coming out of a small wrist-mounted den den mushi. "Non sir, only small ones" The blond man said. "Then proceed with the plan, blow up their ship and arrest Blane" The voice said. "Roger!" The blond shouted. The second he shouted a second shot was fired in the distance, aimed at Deer's head. A huge bold man carrying a barrel of fuel was running at the ship, carrying a short man on his shoulders. "Burn it to the ground!" The short man shouted. Another man, wearing a black trench coat, appeared behind the group. "Welcome to the end of your journey, surrender now or die" He said with a voice filled with blood lust.
While all of these events happened, Blane was focused at one thing, stopping his ship from getting burnt, for it was his only way out of Takoma. "I'll never surrender!" Blane shouted, sweat running down his forehead. "Do not let them near the ship!" He shouted, pointing at the huge man with the barrel. The battle was about to begin.

Hughes saw the the bullet coming toward deer's head. He unsheathed his sword to perfrom his technique "Ittoryu Iai: Lion Swipe!" Hughes cut the bullet with extreme precison splitting it in half like a lion catching his prey. Things were about to get interesting "Friends of yours I presum Blane?" Hughes saw the men walking toward the ship, but he couldn't do anything about it he was too far away.

As Jason was stopped by his captain and watched in panic at the nearby marines, he quickly decided that he should probably look after the ship. He rushed after the barrel man, quickly telling Fiona; "You should hang on realllly tightly, I might fall over a lot and I don't want meanies to hurt you." As he chased the barrel carrier, he noticed that one of the stores nearby was a kitchen utensil store, but what he was focused on was a a large rolling pin and large frying pan used for their sign. Jason easily managed to rip them off and quickly threw a few coins at through the window as payment, and started to flail widly at the barrel man. "Stop marine meanie! We need that boat!" he shouted rather whinely.

fiona tried to hold on for all her might but she was weak so she fell of jasons and shouted after him "HELP" when she hit the ground there were marines around her they spoke softly to her but with a sharpness saying "we have the scar pirates and a present for the captain " one marine looked at the other and said "what if she kills the captain like she did with the other one" the first marine burst out in laughter picked fiona up by her arm and said "she wont be able to do anything against him"

Jason struck out at the barrel carrier, just missing him at every swing. He then noticed suddenly that he was feeling a lot lighter, and checked round for Fiona, only to see that she had vanished. "I lost Fiona! That's a bad thing! I have to go look for her now! You, barrel bad guy! Don't go to our ship until I come back! Fiona where are you?" the large chef panicked, dashing back from where he came in search of Fiona.

((OOC: Deer I don;t know where you are but I've waited long enough...)

"Move it freeloaders!" A voice screamed at the group of marines that surrounded Fiona. The group cleared in fear as the ma with the black trench coat stepped forward. He grinned, flashing a row of shining knife-like teeth. "What should we do with her Junior Grade Taz?" the first marine asked. "Leave her to me and get the HELL OUTA MY SIGHT!!!" Taz shouted. The marines quickly fled in fear, leaving Taz and Fiona alone. "So, why did Blane recruit you? What can you do?" Taz asked, choking and invisible neck with his right hand, blood lust clearly visible in his eyes. "Entertain me".

Meanwhile, Blane, who was on his way to the ship, stopped and turned his head was his mind lost it's focus. "Killed her captain?" Blane said, repeating the words he heard from the marines. Unfortunately, Blane couldn't investigate this horrific fact at the moment since another long-ranged shot was fired at him. The shot made it's way towards his right thigh but was blocked by a different shot that came from Blane's neck hole. The shooter was Bobby, who's head and arm sprouted out of the coat. "Good job buddy" Blane said to his monkey. "Don't loss your focus kid..." The blond marine, also known as Lieutenant Havoc, said. "Don't worry, I won't" Blane answered and then turned to his crew members. "Hughes, stop the marines from burning the ship! Jason, Fiona could use your help! Deer, Try and take care of this annoying sniper that keeps shooting at us!" Blane commanded. "I'll take care of this clown..." He said, referring to Havoc.

The huge marine with the oil barrel, who was also known as Ensign Big, continued on his path towards the Fair Maiden, with a smaller man, Ensign Small, on his shoulder, informing him of various dangers.

fiona struggled but was still choking and managed to get out a few words "im just a pet and a slave he bought me" she was scared for her life that she would be taken by the marines instead of kill her and so she wouldnt be a slave anymore. she stopped struggling just before she was about to fall uncouncious.

"Aye aye mr. captain man!" Jason bellowed out as he dashed around in a panic, looking around wildly for Fiona. He then saw one of the marines choking her, which made Jason's blood boil enough to shoulder charge right into the man. "Your a big meanie bullying Fiona like that!", he growled, as he knocked the man over. He stood battle ready in front of Fiona, saying back to her apolegeticly; "Sorry, I messed up!"

Taz wasn't ready to get hit so hard. He was busy choking Fiona just for the fun of it and then he got shouldered away out of nowhere by a mountain of a man. Taz was sent flying into a nearby kiosk that soon broke apart and covered Taz with bits of wood and dust. "Buhehehehe..." laugh could be heard from within the ruins of the kiosk. "You know what I like even more than choking?" Taz shouted from his wooden grave. The wooden bits then flew up and away as a result of a violent burst of strength from Taz. When he got up, he was wearing a crazy expression on his face and drool was running down the sides of his mouth. "Devouring!" He shouted. He then started running at Jason and Fiona at great speed, preparing for his attack.

Hughes grabs his katana obeying his captain commands to safe the ship from getting burned. He took out his katana used his Ittoryu Iai: Raven Flight attack. Hughes ran as fast as he could toward the barrel guy gaining speed. As soon as he was close enough relatively five feet or so Hughes launched a air blade straight toward the barrel in while still in the air. Hopefully this will either kill them or slow them down.

"If you want to burn that ship then you will have to past my dead body first!"
