-Appearance information-Physical appearance: (one paragraph minimum per category):
Body: Cole constantly works out and trains and thus is fast and strong. He is built like an athlete and is slightly thin but is pure muscle with a six pack and strong arms and legs. He has a clear muscle definition and without flexing you can see his bulging muscles. He is 5'10" and weighs 145 lbs. He is Caucasian with a small tan and no blemishes at all.
Face: He has a round shaped face with a slightly pointed chin. He has an average jaw line and facial structure. His mouth is average sized in length and is slightly thin. He has a decently sized nose with a rounded tip and average sized ears. His most unique feature are his bright sky blue eyes that are slightly round that don't match his hair color.
Hair: Cole has straight kind of thick jet black hair that compliment but don't quite match his eyes. Cole's bangs go to about 3/4 an inch above his eye. The hair on the side of his head is 4 in. long and his back is 5 in. long. He has small spikes sticking up from his hair that are about half an inch tall. (His hair is similar to Luffy's except longer and with slightly smaller "spikes".) His eyebrows are black and thin. He has no facial hair on his face but if he doesn't shave with a knife or other sharp items he will grow a small dotty beard or if he wants to a goatee.
Non visual information: Cole's voice is slightly high but not too much as if he ever asks anyone about his voice they'll just say "It's normal". His pitch will only slightly raise when he yells and is slightly lower when he whispers. He can sing quite well but doesn't really enjoy singing unless it's a pirate song and with friends. His voice constantly makes people want to follow him and he makes friends quite easily with it sometimes. He has a very good sense of smell but only for food simply because of his love to eat.
Extra features: He has a thin scar going straight down his chest from right below his shoulders to a few inches above his waist and is about 7 inches in length and 1 and 1/2 inches in width. He also has a Tenryubbito slave tattoo on his back, right below his neck from when he was a slave. He has small scars scattered over his arms and legs.
Clothing: Cole normally will wear a cotton black open shirt that has medium sized white lines running through the edges of it. He normally wears white shorts that have medium sized black lines right by the pockets and the bottom that are made of some silk and some cotton. He wears straw sandals. He is so energetic he is practically immune to cold and in it will normally wear the same clothes unless he is about to get frostbite in which he'll wear a winter coat that is the same color and pattern as his shirt. He will still wear shorts but will wear black shoes on his feet.
-Personality information-Personality Overview: Cole is an extreme optimist and opportunist and always believes things will work out. At a young age his mother taught him happiness was the key to everything and would build strong relationships and these relationships would make you happy and be able to get over any sadness in your life. Thus he always smiles and acts happy while on the inside he is actually an extremely angry person and thus is quick to anger. He loves to fight and believes the best way to solve any problem is with one. He easily makes friends thanks to his charismatic voice and it makes people want to follow him. He loves this as he loves leading and was born a natural leader. He can deal with practically any type of person and doesn't judge them on their appearance, sexuality or belief but on what they act like (what's on the inside). He loves to make friends and enjoy a good pirate song and drink with them.
He is a really nice person and will help any good person he can. He can be very quick to anger especially when his dreams or his friend's are put down. He will protect the people he loves with his life. He will never give up on anything and as stated earlier believes everything will work out. He will eat practically anything but can be a harsh judge on the taste. He acts the same around adults and people he doesn't know and around his friends which will occasionally get him into trouble. He isn't good at making plans and just makes up everything as he goes along. Cole's biggest flaws are the fact that he won't kill anybody except possibly his father because of his incident as a slave made him hate death and killing and he trusts everyone and has a bad perception of when they're lying and want to hurt him. He believes there is good in everybody (except the Tenryubitto but even his dad) which is his biggest flaw and greatest strength.
Likes, Dislikes, Hopes and Fears: He loves to train and spar and sleep. He loves to sleep and to hang out with his friends. He loves fighting and will get into one with no reason simply because he wants to and enjoys the adrenaline. He hates Marines and Tenryubitto. He hates people who put other people's dreams down. He'd love to have a girlfriend but would never settle down with her and marry her because he loves to sail the seas. He hopes to complete all of his dreams and when he gets them, his nakama's dreams. He secretly fears he won't be able to complete his dreams and that sometimes he won't be able to save his friends. He fears that he is weak. He fears fighting rings and enclosed spaces thanks to being a battle slave for the Tenryubitto.
-History information-**
Birth, Age 0: Cole D. Heart was born in the East Blue. His parents were Calin D. Heart and Mary Heart (formally Mary Rochester). His father was a Lieutenant Commander in the Marines at the time of Cole's birth and was stationed in Palicia Island in East Blue where a year earlier he had met Mary Rochester and they had gotten married and had Cole. Palicia Island is a nice grassland island full of farmers and a variety of wild life. Mary gave birth to Cole on the December 21st, the night of the Winter Solstice. Mary and Calin decided they wanted Cole to be strong and able to protect himself if anything ever happened to them so they decided once he reached the age of two Calin would train him to be a Marine. Calin also continued to train himself and quickly rose through the ranks of the Navy.
Early Childhood, Age 1-4: From when he was 2 Cole's father trained him to be a Marine. Because of this Cole became slightly socially retarded because he was never around anyone else his age. His father would constantly show him off because of his great strength at such a young age and Cole slowly became a kind of show for the town despite his mother's objections. One day his father was moved to Sabaody Archipelogo after he became a Captain in the Navy. Mary had to stay in Palicia Island because of her job as a Tailor so only Cole and Calin left. About a week after arriving a Tenrybitto had gone there for vacation. He had just shot a random person and Calin told Cole to bow down and to not move. Cole didn't listen to his father and yelled, "You can't shoot just anybody! Only bad pirates!" and the Tenryubitto got extremely angry and asked who Cole's father was and Cole pointed to Calin. Immediately Calin asked to spare both his son's and his own lives and to take his son as a battle/entertainment slave and talked up Cole's great fighting skills. The Tenryubitto agreed to this and took Cole, crying "Why?!", to Mariejois.
Time at Mariejois, Age 5-10: When they arrived at Mariejois, Cole was immediately put into a fight with an older boy who was ten. The older boy had survived a while and had earned a knife from the Tenryubitto to use. Cole put up a good fight but was cut deep below the skin down his chest by the boy. Cole managed to survive that and won the fight, crying. Because of his the entertainment Cole had given the Tenryubitto he was given medical attention and lived. He continued to fight for many more years and became claustrophobic because of the small cells and eventually he met a boy named Malsa, who was also ten. (He was 10 at this time.) They became friends but one day were told they had to fight each other. They made a plan to both fake dead because the Tenryubitto threw dead corpses into the sea. But Malsa knew one of them had to win or it wouldn't succeed. So he faked killing Cole by splattering him with his own blood from a wound he had gotten from an earlier battle. Cole didn't want to leave without Malsa but was tossed into the sea and escaped. (This took place after Tiger freed all the slaves.)
Next Couple Years, Age 10-12: Cole swam for a few hours, already practically starved but couldn't find an island. He eventually collapsed and was luckily found right before going under by a Pirate crew. The crew fed him and revived him and Cole soon loved pirates and found out they weren't all bad people. They eventually dropped him off at an island on the edge of East and West Blue, because they didn't want him to get hurt on their adventures. He cried about this but eventually got over it. He decided to become a pirate when he was older and to beat his dad and destroy the WG. He battled (not to the death) with people to earn money and after a 6 months got a sturdy canoe. He sailed for a year, barely surviving but eventually found the island where he was born.
Palicia Island, Age 13-16: Cole arrived at the island and was welcomed by the people and his mother. He told his mother about what happened to him and about dad. Mary became extremely angry with Calin because Calin had said he'd been killed by a pirate and Calin couldn't get there in time to help him. Also because of this Mary went into a state of depression (because of what Calin had told her) during that time and Calin had left her. They all grew to love him (Mary still loved him) and accept him and not think of him as entertainment after they heard about after he had left the island when he was 4. He slowly stopped being socially retarded and became extremely talented socially. He trained and trained and because they felt bad about when they treated him like entertainment and not a person, the townspeople made a savings for him to become a pirate and gave him a boat. After he had made his own fighting style, "Cold Fist" Style he bought a boat and was fully stocked. Despite his mother's wishes he left to go become a pirate and defeat his dad. He currently hopes to find a navigator or somebody to help him not die at sea. Cole's father, Calin, is currently a Commodore in the Navy.
