(His name depends on whether or not he is in his disguise. No one knows that David and the Hooded One are one and the same.)

Appearance: David is about 5’9”. He has light blue hair and pale white skin. His eyes are a light shade of gray. He is decently well muscled from wielding his chain axes. His everyday attire consists of whatever fits the weather of the island he is on. He normally conforms to what other people are wearing so that he will not stand out as much. He also normally wears headphones, though he doesn’t actually play music through them. He just wears them so that people will not try talking to him and will think his guard is down when he is actually paying attention to everything around him. When David is working, he will wear all black. He wears a black, long-sleeved shirt, pants, and boots. Overtop of his shirt and pants he wears a cloak. (To give you an idea of what the cloak looks like, imagine an Organization XIII cloak from Kingdom Hearts. That’s how I envision it.) The cloak’s sleeves are tailored to be more voluminous than most. This is so that he can hide his axes up the sleeves. He also wears a simple, dark blue mask that has only eye holes on it.

History: David was actually born on an island called Camilla, but when he was only two years old, his family moved to Io Island because of his father’s job. David’s father worked as a store manager and his company wanted him to manage a new store they were opening on Io Island.

Time passed and David grew older. He made average grades in school, but quickly grew bored with it. Most things were like that to him: Boring. Life just didn’t seem fun. He tried to make if fun by trying out all sorts of things. He finally found what he enjoyed the moment he picked up a sword. He decided that he wanted to be a warrior. So he learned. He learned everything he could about fighting.

When he was ten, David wanted to join the Marines. He didn’t tell his parents before he went to a recruitment office. But of course, despite the fact that his fighting skill was great, the Marines would not have him because of his age. This rejection made David change his mind about joining the Marines. Instead, he considered becoming a pirate. That idea lasted until he just so happened to be in the area when an Assassin moved in and killed her target. Fortunately for David, the Assassin didn’t notice him hiding near by. To David, this was a kind of beauty. It wasn’t that he was a killing fanatic, but he liked the idea of sneaking around and striking when your opponent least expected it. (He already thought the idea of fighting ‘honorably’ to be beneath him.) So once again, David began learning about fighting, but this time he studies focused on moving and fighting silently.

When he was fourteen, David left home suddenly and without warning. He went off of his own and traveled to the Grand Line. He set up shop in a village called Sojin. There, he began advertising himself as a bodyguard and an assassin. Of course, he didn’t do this out in the open. The Marines would have probably pitched a fit, unless he was working for them. (There’s always a loophole with those people.) Even so, the Marines did catch wind of him after he was photographed at night going in and then leaving a mansion where a Marine Commander was found dead the next morning. Fortunately for David, he had thought ahead and had been wearing not only a mask, but a hooded cloak as well, both of which protected his identity. And so, the Marines began searching for him. David left town and went to another island. He does this, hopping from one place to the next, never staying anywhere for to long.

David is currently using a village called Konee as his base of operations. He now has a small bounty on his head because he well take out anyone, even Marines or World Government Nobles. (No one has been stupid enough to send him after one of those Nobles yet, though. That’s why his bounty is still so low.) He does have some scruples, however. He will not kill children and he will not involve himself in bully tactics. He goes in, does his job, and gets out. And he never does anything on a permanent basis. Not yet anyway.

Personality: David has two different personas. His normal personality is a polite, happy, and slightly flirtatious one. He acts very open and inviting around people. He does this to hide the fact that he is really holding back from them. He makes it appear that he is very social, but he never actually gets close enough to people to let them see that this is not the truth. David’s alternate personality comes out when he wears his ‘Hooded One’ disguise. At those times, he drops all the emotion from his voice and becomes totally focused on his job, whatever that may be.

Special Abilities:

Voice Changing: David is good at adjusting his voice to a different pitch and making it sound perfectly natural. For example, when he is in his ‘Hooded One’ disguise, he deepens his voice significantly so that people will think he is much older than he actually is.

Nimble: David can climb, stand, and walk across just about everything. He has learned this from on the job experience. He can also move and fight with near absolute silence.

Learned Techniques:

1. Twin Sickle Whirlwind: David releases his axes and grabs their chains. He then proceeds to spin at high speed, cutting through everything around him.

2. Blitz Ram: David throws one of his axes at his target.

3. Quick Bolt: A lightning fast kick.
