Appearance: He just about reaches 8 foot, and has big muscular build to go with it plus large hands and smile. He has skin of a pinkish hue, big brown eyes and is bald. He usually wears an apron, a pair of plastic gloves, an ordinary chef hat, a bright yellow t-shirt, black jeans with a brown belt to hold them up, and large brown boots, which he changes with slippers when he work in the kitchen.

History: Gareth was born in gourmet town in the grand line, a town famous for their culinary skills, and was plagued with mental health troubles and after he aged much past childhood, still had the mind of a child. His mother was highly renowned chef, and Gareth looked up to her, fascinated at the delicious food and drink he would conjure up with her skill, and was taken regularly by her to the restaurant she worked at to see the busy work of a cook, and helped out every now and then, and worked hard to achieve a degree in home economics at high school, and after he achieved his B grade, he worked in the very same restaurant his mother did, working tirelessly and full of effort, hoping he would create his own dish one day. After a few years working in the restaurant, and having the extra jobs of serving customers, dishwashing, and ‘politely escorting’ anyone who caused trouble, he met some pirates who were actually quiet friendly and kept their manners, and told him tall tales of their adventures. Being a pretty gullible man, Gareth believed every word and was inspired to become a great pirate chef, and started his career as a travelling chef the next day, in hope of finding a fun crew to join.

Personality: He has a child-like mind and is easily distracted so needs a bit of looking out for. He also tends to sing when he cooks, but is usually off key. He's not the brightest guy around, and is a bit naïve and gullible, so is often easily tricked by other and outsmarted. He is usually honest and caring and tends to help those who look like they need help or are upset.

Special Abilities: large frame gives him added strength, and has learnt various cooking skills from his days as a traveling chef and from his mother.

Learned Techniques: ‘Chef combat’, a fighting style which uses his strange weapons of choice:
Flash Fry: Repeatedly hits the opponent up into the air with the frying pan before knocking them back down to earth.
Mash Potatoe: Squashes opponent by hitting them at both sides with his weapons.
Baker Bulldozer: Charges forward with the rolling pin held across vertically.

Goals: To become a famous pirate chef and create his own well known dish.
