History: Jay grew up in a small village in the south ocean living with only his older brother Matt. They ran the farm their parents had left them after passing away when Jay was only four. Matt Raised Jay under the sense that law should be followed only to an extent. Matt taught his brother everything he’d need to know to survive in the world they were living in.
Matt taught Jay to use a sword and fight in their family’s fighting style (similar to Shoto-kan called Kyokoshinkai). By the time Jay had turned ten he’d mastered his training and began developing on his own what his brother had taught him.
Everything changed when Jay was fourteen. His brother started to get distant and would disappear for hours without Jay knowing where he was. Matt swore to Jay he wasn’t doing anything illegal and Jay trusted him. One day at the farmer’s market several Marines approached Matt accusing him of killing someone the night before. Jay knew Matt had been home he tried to defend him but when Matt push one of the Marines in an attempt to free himself from his grasp another marine shot him.
Jay went crazy after that he grabbed a sword from behind their stand and began to take down the marines in single attacks. He easily killed twenty before deciding he needed to run away. He grabbed the necklace and coat his brother often wore and ran off looking to get on the nearest boat. He stowed away on a pirate ship only to be found at the next port and kicked out.
He wandered around aimlessly for awhile killing marines and stowing away to get from place to place. He went on like this until around the time he turned sixteen and was found on a ship mid-way through a voyage. The pirates brought him to the captain to decide his punishment. The captain was a tall man with a bald head and he decided to test his latest treasure out on him. He took a fruit from a chest and forced it down Jay’s throat. Upon eating it Jay dropped to the ground and began convulsing violently until he suddenly grew brown, black and white speckled wings and talons. He escaped from the pirate by flying away. Luckily the ship had been close to port. He made some money fast delivering messages quickly for the wealthy in town and bought himself a sword and a pair of goggles.
Jay spent some time hidden in the woods figuring out all the aspects of his new power and how he could fight with his new abilities. He quickly mastered his techniques and began to bounce from crew to crew.
Jay is currently on his own in a dingy trying to find his next crew. He’s sailing between ports and hopes to join quickly.

Personality: Jay is quiet and reserved when in a group of people or in one on one situations with people he knows but when he’s in danger he can talk his way out of anything to save his own butt or his friend’s. He’s very loyal but paranoid and doesn’t like to stay in the same place for very long or with the same people. He hates Marines and anyone who glorifies the force that he feels killed his brother without just cause. He also loves bread and doesn’t like to deal with women.

1. Kyokoshin: hand to hand combat

Learned Techniques:
1. Ryutoken tobi uchi: dragon’s head jumping strike. A quick jump strike accelerated by Jay’s wings. Which can instantiously kill if his directly over the heart when the attack has enough force behind it.


Weapons/Items:
1. Sword: basic katana
2. Small knife: used for cooking could possible be used as a weapon
3. Goggles: used so Jay can easily see while flying
4. Necklace: taken from his brother
5. Small bag: hooked to his belt(his coat has no pockets)
6. Smoke bombs for quick escape
7. Compass: self explanitory

Goals: to kill as many marines as possible and never lose anyone he cares about again.

How does this work out?

it doesnt matter intents, he can have any approved fruit, so the owl fruit can be used by more than one person, also, the lark thing, i thought it was approved

How does this work out?

Intents anyone can use any fruit, just because freaks used the owl fruit doesn't mean no one else can have it

Plus I asked AnimeFreak911 if I could use the fruit and was given permission.
