Serious: the adventures of the oblivion pirates: part 1

"heh so you don't know I used to be one of the guards for your family you know the one who used to bring you back whenever you went on one of your little adventures. Especally when you got your powers. I know everything about you what you did what your doing and what your going do." Saru walked closer to Claresse and she flinched out of pure shock as he put one hand on her shoulder.

".....ok? So you worked for her before then?" Xark askes in wonder

"yes and every minute of it was torture. I want this, let me go, iwanna go out again. I couldnt take it any more so i left one day without a trace.

"poor guy. must have been rough for you." Pats his shoulder to make him feel better.

"even though im deadly im willing to give you a break. Join our crew and you can continue your bounty hunting or we can kill you right here and now."

Xark looks at her and thinks, "I wonder what she'll choose?"

"You lying sack of crap! No one ever knew whenever I left!" Making a quick gasp, Clarisse realized she just admitted to being who Saru said she was. Even though what he had just said was a lie, it was obvious that Saru did know Clarisse. She couldn't however, recall knowing him at all. He could have been a guard as he said or even a commoner. "Who are you?"

"Saru! You do not make the decisions, I am the captain, not you! I don't what her on our crew it creates mis-trust when members of your crew are those who attack. We couldn't ever take our eyes off her." Connor looked at Saru with a glare that forced him to back down. Saru will get us killed if he doesn't learn to control himself. He probably made a large part of that up anyway. He noticed clarisse move, he glared at her and she froze. Connor was angry right now and no one with a brain would get in his way. "Saru, just stop it. You are reckless."

"But why dont we let her join? After all she could be of use with her power of gravity there." Xark looks at Connor waiting for an answer.

Connor gave in. "I guess we could offer it to her." He looked at both Xarx and Saru. "Although, I will make the final decision and I only consider it because you want it." "Well, how about it?" Connor asked clarisse.

Clarisse had little desire to die and she had no options of escape that were guaranteed to work at the moment. "I'll join your crew." She spoke in a depressed voice, her head facing the ground. Immediately she began to think of an escape plan.

"Ok then!" Xark stretches now that the whole thing is over. "This sould be fun, two captains, a gravity chick and me. This crew sounds interesting already." Xark grins. Everyone looks at him in surprise since the so called Xark The Fiend was know to be a killing machine. "Well then,.." Xark finally returns his right arm to normal. "...where is this newlly made crew's ship then. Id like to have a little fun now."

"Alright, she is to be kept under guard 24-7. I don't want any exceptions. We are going to take shifts and until she settles down this won't stop. Are you all ready for that commitment?" Connor walked to ship signaling to Saru to keep little miss with them.

"So our first ob is to watch her? Man, I was hopping for some fun." Xark places his hands behind his head and the leech forms form his right arm. "It would be easyer if I eat..." Xark punches the leech. "Didn't I tell you to shut up not to long ago?" The leech get mad and returns into his arm.

With both hands on the girls back ready to use the sword if he had to led them to the ship and was on the lookout for any funny business

Xark boards the ship and looks around "Kind of empty here. Are we really the only ones in this crew?"

Being led against her will, Clarisse stumbled as she was pushed onto the ship. Regaining her balance, she took the time to look around. Shewasn't sure how long they would let her be on deck and she needed to know the layout of this ship if she were to escape.

"No, we don't have any other crew members. She stays on deck all the time, no matter the weather. I am making my decisions by putting myself in her place, and I know that I would want to know the entire layout of the ship that I was going to be on." Connor looked at Clarisse deliberately. "Saru, how much food do we have?"

((Checking something.))

Clarisse wanted to smile at what Connor had said, but she was not going to betray herself again. Instead, she just kept the same shocked expression on her face that she had for a while now. If they were going to keep her on deck, it would be that much easier for her to escape when they stopped keeping watch on her.

"Hey, I got an idea on an easy way to kepp her in check." Xark places his hand on the deck floor and a stream of his shadow spreads all over the ship and then sinks into the wood. "There we go. I have placed parts of my shadow into the ship's deck. Now if she does anyhting strange, I will be able to sense i and see it with my right eye. Not to mention that I can control my shadow pieces from far away as well so I can stop here."

"We have exacally zero food on the ship at the moment."Saru annonced after checking the storage area. "So eaither we fish for some or pillage the village and get some there. I personally like option 2 better."
