Name: Archon Jon (Archon being the last name)
Age: 22
Bounty: 10,000,000
Species: Human
Occupation: Captain and Navigator (helped by his sword)
Allegiance: Pirate (Sons of the King)
Home Village/Ocean: East Blue
Appearance: Jon does not look very imposing on first glance, being a bit under 6 feet tall. However, he can appear as a very convincing speaker, turning his impetuous look of wild red hair and deep blue eyes into a fiery statement for his cause. He is compactly muscled, not appearing especially bulky, but toned instead.
Generally, he wears loose clothing that does not interfere with his fighting, colored a bluish indigo and resembling dojo clothes quite a bit. In addition to this, he wears sandals.
His appearance closely resembles the image below, but without the white parts in the outfit, with shorter hair without a ponytail, and only one sword of a different style.

History: In some islands, the marines have very little precense. In these places, the rule of a criminal is often the law. The criminal is not always particularly bad however. Infact, where Jon lived his childhood, the local pirate ruler was fairly lenient and just, managing to turn the typical attitudes in the village to their head. The marines became the feared enemy, while the crew of the pirate were protectors and just rulers.
An island like this harbors certain types of thoughts. A pirate was not a bad thing. Thus, no one batted an eyelash when Jon decided he wanted to become one. However, he had a deeper inspiration than most pirates. Stories of the greatest pirate to ever live, the pirate king, had been seeped into his mind from his childhood, and he believed such a great man deserved dedicated followers. Thus, he set out to fulfill this goal. To create a crew worthy of the king of the pirates.
However, he couldn't start up very high. He had no credibility, being a nameless rookie from the weakest blue. But his ambition was boundless. He forced himself into the grand line as a member of a hopeless crew, one of the many that would be taken by the malicious storms and powerful enemies of the grand line. He ditched the crew in short order, and set to figuring out a way to gain credibility.
Then he heard a rumor that had a chance to help him. A now overgrown shrine in a tropical island infested with various animals, enough to keep most people out. It was also said to hold the legendary Stormcaller within it, a weapon with the power to command the weather of even the most treacherous grand line.
Naturally, Jon bought a boat and went there as soon as he was able, somehow, likely through sheer luck, managing to survive to the shrine. There he found a fine sword, but he could not yet do anything with it. Still, it was a worthy bounty with the quality of the blade, and he took it for himself.
The blade was a good complement to his skills, but he soon found that he seemed to have some sort of supernatural nudge to the weathers of the grand line. He finally realized the powers of the sword when he managed to call a tornado to sink a marine ship in a raid to a known pirate cove.
From thereon, he has traveled from place to place, speaking of the pirate king, and rousing those of a pirate-sympathetic mind to learn from the greatest. However, they have not actually followed him. This kind of speech, which he has recently started, has earned him the ire of the world government, who consider him to be rousing the people against the governmenment.
Now, Jon has obtained a ship, which he named the King's Memory, and has been trying to look like minded pirates to join his flock in the quest of creating a suitable legacy for the pirate king.
Personality: Jon has great respect, perhaps even reverence for the former pirate king. He is also a fairly social person, and an excellent public speaker, naturally appealing to people with his words. He is also highly ambitious, aiming to become the pirate king, stopping short of becoming greater than the last one, who he idolizes.
Jon is mostly a peace maine, as he is not the kind of pirate who assaults villages for his own benefit, but he does not devote himself to helping the downtrodden either. In the end, he is a morally a grey person, devoted to his goal of upholding the pirate king's legacy.
Ship: King's Memory
Ship Flag: A typical jolly roger with a simple unstylized crown.
Devil Fruit: N/A
Special AbilitiesSuperhuman StrengthJon is superhumanly strong, capable of lifting and throwing a small ship.
Great Speed and Reaction timeJon is also very fast, easily outrunning most of those without special techniques centered on speed like soru. This ability also extends to excellent reflexes and a very good reaction time.
Fighting skillsJon is at his best when fighting with a single sword, though he can fight effectively without one as well.
Use of the StormcallerJon has all but mastered the use of the weapon, and is capable of effectively manipulating the weather with the artifact. However, the weapon continues to only grant him a nudge if the weather is changing, instead of truly sensing the weather.
Learned Techniques:
Splitting the Waterdrop: With this technique, Jon concentrates his strength into a single, extremely accurate strike, cutting through almost any material with minute precision.
Waves of the Wind: This technique grants Jon the ability to cause his attacks to create waves of pressure, wounding at a far greater distance.
EASILY dodge: Jon adopts a careless posture as he avoids an opponent's attack, appearing half-asleep despite keeping full vigilance and care as he evades an opponent's attack just as normal. The true power of the technique is misdirection, making it appear as if Jon EASILY dodged, even if he was just a hair away from being cleft in twain. He typically uses this to demoralize and mislead opponents into doubting their own abilities, granting him a psychological advantage.
Gale: This technique bases itself on the same principles as Flow of the Wind. Archon adopts a similar stance, gliding around the battlefield, only taking an actual step every few meters. The steps themselves are very powerful, causing him to rush through the battlefield with inhuman speed, defying human eyesight and achieving speeds comparable to Soru.
Funnel Cloud: Archon shoots upwards to the sky, up to 40 meters within a few seconds, floating there for 15 seconds (2 posts) or so before falling down again. The effect is accompanied by a spiral of rising air that dissipates upwards around him, finally disappearing after the 15 seconds is up. Archon can choose to drop at any point though, and the effect ends if he moves from the dissipating spiral.
Ocean's Eyes: Archon's eyesight become keen as an eagle's as the world seems to slow down to a crawl around him, a state made possible by focusing techniques and meditation learned from the martial artists of Xingshi. He often uses this in conjunction with Gale. This can only be maintained for one post, and cannot be used for 4 posts afterwards.Flow of the Wind: Jon uses this technique to increase the fluidity of his attacks and parries at the expense of strength. With this, he much more fluidly moves from one move to another, becoming harder to hit and harder to defend against. The price for using this move is that while fighting like that, the strength of his attacks suffers.
- Stormcloud: Having adopted the Flow of the Wind stance, Archon refines his movements to better take on large groups of enemies, keeping his weapon close to have greater control and to block more easily. He angles the sword precisely to redirect the attacks of his enemies into each other, slaying several in quick succession while keeping control of the situation even when surrounded
