devil fruit types(what does each do?)

What do the devil fuit types mean? What I'm asking is a basic summary of each. Don't compare to one piece characters please! I don't know much about one piece. Basically, I'm not a hardcore one piece fan.

Zoan: (always named after an animal) gives the user the ability to take three forms, there own, normal for, that of the animal the fruit is named after (be specific, like what kind of that animal it is) an a mix

Longia: (always named after an element, or the sound that eliment makes): allows the user to become, create, and manipulate that element

Paramicia: gives the user a spechal ability or trait, it can be passive, like bieng made of ruber, or active, like changing your body waight at will, and many more....
