Kesu Chapter 4: The mission continues.

Staples heard what he said but didn't have a response for longer than usual. As he thought of what Thespian had done, he finally thought of the correct words to say. "......The Thespian was stalling Menos so we could get out of there." He thought of what he was going to say but he had to continue even if it was selfish. "....We have to leave him behind."

"Tch." Becky clenched her fist. You promised to bring us all back home alive. Including you.... She followed her crewmates, distraught at all the events. Today was full of sorrow, it would forever be a dark day.

Ozzy stopped in his tracks "I am not leaving him behind!!!!" Ozzy began to run towards Thespian

((Someone stop him, lol))

Becky grabbed Ozzy's arm before he could run off. "Stop....getting killed is exactly what he wouldn't want. He shouldn't die for nothing, he did this for us!"

Ozzy stopped and looked back, he was tearing up a bit in his eyes. Ozzy then decided, if they escape , he would sing a remembrance song. He bowed to Thespian "THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!" Then ozzy turned back to Becky "Ok, lets get out of here........"

Staples wasn't the best leader, and heknew it but for now he'd have to do as Devin was unconscious and Thespian was predisposed. He looked at Ozzy and ordered him "....Knock out that man on the boat!" He thought for a second ".....Keep him on the ship he may need help."

"This Ship will do, everyone get ready to Set sail, Hyu needs to Take a look at Devin, HYU? HYU? damn. Defluo go get hyu" Alison Shouted while she took Devin below to rest.

Defluo turned invisible and ran back to the ship to fetch Hyu.

Menos stood over thespian "dead are we?" he said simply holding a hand over him

Thespian was infact dying, but he had his last breath left to say something to Menos. He only had enough time for one sentence but he did not care. He opened his mouth and said, "yes." He wasn't sad that he died. His lonely death was one fitting a mysterious person such as he.

Defluo Jumped on the Ship and grabbed Hyu in his mouth, hyu became invisible as well. Defluo then ran back to alison bringing Hyu with him.

Menos, in a last act of disgrace brought about by the hatred Thespian had him feel he removed his mask and threw it over the horizon before walking away "oh well, as mercenaries they feel no loyalty... they didnt sign on for such an undertaking as revenge..." he looked up to see a large steel submarene emerge from the waves as a smile crossed his lips "right on time~" he said soruing up to the deck to board it as ships apeared over the horison

Thespians mask landed with Devin on the ship, sending the message that he had died

Hyu freed himself from Defluo's mouth, cursed, and went to look at Devin. "Damn... Menos really screwed him up."

Ozzy then shouted "Someone get me the medical kit for this ship, i cant heal him completely but we can apply first aid and try to lessen the wounds, HURRY!!!!" Ozzy had gained this skill in the wilderness when he trained as a bounty hunter under his master, he wast excellent, and he was no doctor, but he could at least prevent some of the wounds from getting infected.

Hyu used Soru to run to the first aid kit and returned, handing the first aid kit to Ozzy. Hyu felt useless.

Ozzy began applying bandages and disinfecting the wounds with the medicine. He was sloppy but at least the worse was over for Devin, he would live Ozzy breathed in a sigh of relief "We still have time, but we need to get him to a real doctor guys!!"

marene flags were surfacing along the horizon, they had to get out of here and they had to do it now

Staples yelled for the crew. "....GET ON THE BOAT!" Ozzy was healing Devin, but what they really needed was a ride of the island. "...YOU CAN HELP DEVIN ONCE WE LEAVE!" He shouted out, hoping Kesu would listen to him for the moment. There was a doombringing fleet coming from the horizon that would destroy the island.

Ozzy swore very loudly "DAMN IT ALL, the marines? NOW? curse this damn luck we have!!! GET THE SHIP MOVING!!!!" Ozzy secured Devin who at least was no longer in major danger of dying.

((I thought we were on the ship already?))

"Someone help me get the sails!" Becky yelled to the crew, running to the ropes and pulling them, the sails slowly being hoisted but not at the rate required.

Hyu ran to help her. Once the sails were raised, a crazy thought crossed his mind. Why not attack the ships? Staples' gunpowder could distract several of them, and he himself could distract one...

Becky gave Hyu a gentle slap on the face. "There's still work to be done, smart-ass." She didn't read his mind, it's just that a certain look goes onto his face when he has violent thoughts. Well....that's at least what Becky sees.

"Oh, shut up," Hyu replied, tempted to kick her in the shin. He didn't, though, and instead made sure everything was working properly.

Ozzy ran up and say the ships "Lets man the cannons!! does the ship have any, we need to get moving now!!!!" Ozzy ran and took charge of the helm and began steering the ship. "OI STAPLES SHOULD WE LEAVE OR WHAT?!!"

"...We need to leave now, no argument!" Staples yelled. His voice strained, he did not usually talk this much or this loudly. Staples noted Ozzy's willingness to help, they started acting less like private military contractors and more like a family. Still, they were a very disfunctional family.
