Appearance: Nero Benedictus is a man of short stature, standing at a meger five-six he doesn't strike a very imposing image with his coat closed. But underneith his body is very muscular, not unlike a body builder's as he handles large animals daily. His arms are slightly longer than a normal man of his height as they reach just above his knee's giving him an extended reach, and at the end of his large, muscular arms are his hands. These hands show the signs of years of hard work with animals, there are no longer any fingernails growing on the tips and the knuckles are scarred beyond what most people would care to see. His face holds a joyous smile on it almost all the time, making his lips curl up in what most people call a cat smile. His hair is a neatly trimmed brown with long sideburns that grow down past his ears, and his face is devoid of any other particular facial hair. His grey eye's glitter with a happy intensity that makes people smile dispite themselves and his eyebrows are slightly bushy and the same color as his hair. The ears that adorn his head are slightly colliflowered from his tough up-bringing and are smashed mostly flat against his head.

His clothes are simple compared to his appearance. He wears a pair of black dress pants, brown leather boots, and a red muscle shirt. Over that he wear's his ringleader jacket, it is similar to a trench coat but cut off at his knee's and had to be custom fitted to Nero's odd arm length. The coat is a light sky blue color and has buttons made of seastone (Nero enjoys the texture). He keeps a multitude of animal treats and pheromones inside to reward and punish animals respectively. On his head he has a light sky blue top hat, it is completely normal in every way.

History: Nero started his life out as an orphan on a tropical paradise, you would think that would be fun, but were the rich come to stay scum is sure to be. At the age of six he was forced to steal and take advantage of the rich and unaware that would come to their little island in the south blue. He would wake up every morning fight for a small scrap of food, get boxed over the ears, and sent out to steal for another day. By the time he was fifteen he was very tired of this life style and decided to run. And run he did, he ran so far away that he lost himself in the jungle of the island. He spent the better part of the night afraid and alone, just when he thought he might be drifting off into a peaceful slumber there was a light suffling next to his head. Freezing up out of fright he couldn't do anything but wait for what he though was going to be his doom. His doom turned out to be a extra-large hedgehog that was rooting for food; ignoring his soiled pants Nero breathed a sigh relief when it started to nuzzle the side of his leg. He never really realized it before but looking down at the small pointy creature he stopped being afraid of the noises around him. Animals had never hurt him anywhere near as much as people. Picking the small hedgehog up he held it up to his face and asked it,"Will you take me to your home?" The little hedgehog squeaked and nodded it's extra large head. Placing it on the ground it ran off further into the woods.

Nero never thought he would have as much fun with the animals of the forest as he did, he couldn't really understand anything they said but they seemed to treat him like one of there own. He befriended all of the smaller animals and even the large ones like panthers and wolves. He spent the better part of three years trying to learn the most effective ways of training animals, and as much as they liked him they didn't appreciate his attempts at making them listen to his orders. He got scarred more than once teaching a leopard or wolf how to do complicated manuvers. When he got back to the village he was a young man of eighteen and was prepared for what the world had instore for him. With his entourage of animals of all shapes and sizes he came back to the same hide-out he was enslaved in as a child and killed the small gang of criminal's and released the children. Using the money he found around the hide-out and the money he made off the sold booze in the crime house he bought enough supplies for the local construction crew to build an orphanage in its place. The next morning he woke up before any of the children and went to the nearest ship yard and with the remaning beli bought a small boat. The boat wasn't big enough for all of the animals so he chose two, the hedgehog that found him and a panther.

As the years passed by Nero's boat got bigger and bigger until it was large enough for a full crew to man the stations. He had two new companions his turtle sea king Kappa and his loyal gorilla Kong, they were both very smart and very loyal. He was close to achieving his dream of having the best circus ever and all he needed was a crew of namaka to fully man his ship. Once his crew was fully formed he would be able to put on shows all over the sea's but he needed to get an entire crew of animal trainers or zoan users. He couldn't have a crew that was weak even if they weren't going out to fight for the heck of it.

Personality: Nero is a very friendly man, he loves animals and cares for a large selection of animals, which in turn tends to attract children to him. When the children's parents come looking for them he makes friends with the parents. He has a gentle nature towards his nakama, animal companions, and spectators. Nero is primarily a massive omnivore, and will eat anything that you put infront of him; but if he had to pick a favorite food it would be a simple ham sandwich on wheat bread. Speaking true to his normally gentle nature Nero is very hard to aggrivate, but if you attack any of his nakama, eat one of his sandwiches or interupt one of his shows without good reason he will beat you within an inch of your life and leave your fate up to his animals.

Special Abilities: Nero has an uncanny ability to train animals and make them trust him; it also makes most people more comfortable around him. He is about as fast as a normal person but has very highly strung reflexes to make up for his lack of speed along with strength that rival's a giant's and flexible to match a gymnast. His reflex's and strength are good enough that he can react and effectively fight a soru user even if he cant dodge as fast as them.

Geppou Fist- Using the Geppou as a basis Nero bounces his elbow off of the air when winding up for a punch, the punch has enough force to punch a hole in a battleship.

Earthen defense- Using his massive strength, Nero slams one of his limbs heavily into the ground busting up a chunk of earth of differing sizes into the air to protect him from attacks. It can also be used to set the footing off of giants and dislodge buildings. It is easily to dodge it as an attack and is almost completely used for defense.
