Serious: Ryu and Minato Assassinate Mara!!! Chapter 1

Mara grinned at her foe, even though she was being held upside down. "A fellow swordsman should know better than to grip his enemy's blade." She pulled the narrow blade back quickly, which by any means should slice open his palm and from her suspended position, she thrusted forward and swirled the blade. "Great Swirl!" A gust of wind erupted from the blade tip and pushed at Xark with sizable force. If he didn't drop her, he'd have to take all the punishment.

Xark gets thrown back while still grabing onto her with his tail and they both go into a wall. But at the last seconds, Xark moves her in front of him so she hits the wall instead of him.

Although Xark did not release Mara, she would not let herself be caught so easily. Extending a foot in front of her path, Mara slid harmlessly into the wall. This however, did nothing to reduce the pirate's forward momentum.

((lol Ryu, I guess you totally forgot that solid objects can't hurt Mara when she can pass through them))

After Xark sees what she did he quickly launches a powerful punch with his righ arm into the wall, obliverating it and making Mara come out. "Your getting irritating, girl." Xark sends dark energy into the ground. For a moment the ground shakes but then stays still. "Dark Tower!" Out of the ground everywhere, dark spiked towers burts out of the ground under her and around her in all directions.

((D@MN IT YOU CAN ONLY USE MOVES ON YOUR CHAR SHEET, IF IT IS NOT ON IT YOU CANT USE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!))

(Yeah he told me he likes to make up moves as he goes along. Would it be alright if he edits his character sheet with his new moves? Would he need to get reapproved?)

he wold need re approval,but it is highly irregular to do so in mid fight..... but in mid fight is not advised

Smiling now, Mara drew her sword back and lunged at the man quickly before appearing to kick a piece of the wall that went flying with her. Instead of the piece of rubble flying away however, she vanished completely. The single piece was soon lost amongst the others as the fragments of the wall rained onto the ground, bouncing off the spikes and coming to rest on the stone ground.

Xark grins. "I see, so that's way you are hard to get. You can somehow hide with in anything." He places his hand on the ground. "But that wont help you! Dark Tower!" More spiked towers come out of the ground destroying every piece of the wall that is on the ground.

((There's a reason I kept mentioning the ground was stone.))

Fool. Mara was pleased with how this was turning out now. With her feet on truly solid ground, she truly had the advantage. She never had the intention of hiding during this fight. Even with every stone fragment crushed and pierced, Mara did not reappear from the spiked area. Instead, her sword shot up from the ground just behind Xark, the handle held firmly by her arm reaching from the paved surface. Her target, Xark's ankles.

Xark grins. "There you are." Xark's tail swings her sword from her hand and Xark turns for a powered punch toward he guts with his right arm. "HAHAHA!"

Even with Xark's tail wrapped around her sword, Mara refused to unhand it. Instead she used his grip on her weapon to her advantage. The pirate must have been losing it, punching at the ground as he was. But it would all work out for her. With Xark's tail holding onto her sword, she leapt from the cover of the ground. "Great Lunge!" She shouted, pushing her weapon forward. A blue glow emitted from the weapon's tip, followed closely by what appeared to be a beam that would pierce even solid steel. The captain allowed herself a grim smile. At this range, there was no way he would be able to dodge completely.

A shockwave forms around them and Xark appears standing with one of the two dark katanas from his back, held in front of him blocking the attack. "And here I wanted to not have to use these on a weakling like you." He swings his dark katana and lets out a wave of dark energy from it, launching her away. "But I guess I got no choice." He takes out the other one. "Time to cut you to ribbions and then take the energy from your remains. hehehehe."

Mara laughed, a grin playing across her features. Sinking into the ground she began to speak to the pirate, her voice seeming to come from the expanse of the ground itself. "You're rather foolish aren't you? Trying to grab other people's swords, cutting yourself up. If you don't start thinking, no matter how strong you are, you're going to lose." With that, a rock came flying at the back of Xark's head.

Xark places his katana in front of the rock and it split in two, missing him. "Just come out and fight you pathetic human."

Mara grinned at the man's actions. Throwing that rock was only a distraction. They real attack was about to strike home. "Walking thrust!" Suddenly Mara's rapier burst from the ground directly below the pirate. With his sword and his attention behind his back, he wouldn't be able to escape so easily. She wasn't even worried about his tail. All he would be able to grab was the blade and moving as fast as it was, he could only lose it if he tried.
