Appearance:
Genshi stands at 5'9", he has a reasonable tan with an average build. He has long white hair tied into a ponytail, going down to his shoulders with his bangs combed, pointing to the left. He undoes is ponytail when he sleeps. He wears a white t-shirt under an open blue flannel jacket with baggy black pants and same colored shoes. The pirate has taped his hands to help his punching, as well as elbow pads beneath his flannel shirt.
History: He was a young child in a poor village. Whenever they'e village had aquired any money or treasue, a group of Pirates living nearby would steal it. The village had once attacked the pirates, but lost many people. One day they received a devil fruit from some of the treasure hunters. They had planned to sell it to the pirates to get rid of them. Although A young hungry boy seemed to want it more. On that day,
Genshi had cost his village peace, by eating the devil fruit. The entire town outraged at the outrageous...outrage. All despising him, even his own parents. Throughout his young life, he had attempted to make it up to them, usually making things worse for everyone. These include calling a marine captain to deal with an attack of a separate group of pirates, only to find that the town's chief had killed them, leading to the chief being brought to prison. At the age of 15, he left his town and went out to sea, to find treasure to repay his town. After Leaving his first crew, he set out to train, become a stronger swordsmen and come up with better uses of his devil fruit and sword skills. A year of training gave him superior sword styles, greater strength and new devil fruit abilities. His old green scabbard swords were destroyed during his training. But he managed to buy two new ones, both of them Black, and stronger than his previous ones. Although he has aged several years during this training, his childish demeanor remains he same. Over the years,
Genshi began to believe that he has become strong enough to challenge one of the more powerful pirates of the world, and has thus started a quest to challenge, and defeat one of the most powerful beings on the earth. Whether it be a pirate, marine, revolutionary, or bounty hunter doesn't matter to him. He is certain that defeating the aforementioned being would shoot him into worldwide fame, or infamy.
After a few years of piracy,
Genshi was disappointed on his slow rise to infamy. Several days of thinking, and thinking over his fighting style had given him the conclusion that the marines believed that he was no different from many other pirates. But whatever it as that made
Genshi seem so ordinary... what was it? Some time later, a crew of pirates docked on the island
Genshi was currently occupying, and it was then that the pirate realized what kept him from standing out. Each pirate on that crew wielded katana, just like him. He realized that if he kept using swords, he'd be nothing but a drop in the ocean. On that day,
Genshi had two options; to become such a great swordsman that he'd stand out among the rest, or to forget all about his sword training and work more on his hand to hand fighting style. With his decision made, the cook threw his swords into the sea, taped his hands up, and set out into the world to make himself famous with his fists, knees, elbows and clay.
Personality:
Genshi truly believes that he is a great warrior. His main quality is his guts and determination, but, like an average person, he gets scared. Unlike an average person,
Genshi is one to face any and all fears No matter the cost. His optimism is the most noticeable thing about him and since he feels so good about it, he tries to make others as optimistic as him. However, behind his optimistic smile, hides a man with poor self esteem.
Genshi often asks himself if he's strong enough, and wonders what he's even doing. He counters his negative thoughts with positive ones. Through the recent years of training,
Genshi found time to work on his charm and charisma. Although not much work was put into it, he believes that he had become a 'chick magnet'.

Genshi makes a giant fist (about 3 meters in diameter) of his densest clay and punches the opponent(s). Because of the weight of the fist, he cannot swing it on his own feet. He'd have to make it in the air and punch downwards.
