Fumo has dark green hair that naturally spikes over his head and a ponytail that hangs off the back of his head. Fumo wears a dark fitted jumpsuit that covers his muscular midsection. Fumo then wears a yellow belt that tightly wraps around his fitted tight pants that he tools the top of his jump suit into. Around the neck of the jump suit is a hoodie that is shaped into a ninja head mask for Fumo's head. Also around the neck is Fumo's orange scarf, a custom for the head of the Genshi family. Fumo has a holster strapped around his midsection where be puts his sword in. Fumo wears small socks that he always wears under his sandals. Fumo also wears a metallic crest around his hands that transform into brass knuckles when it reaches his fists.
History:
Fumo was born into the family of ninja guardians. Ninja guardians were the head of the island and were the strongest fighters and stealthiest assassins known on the island. They lived in a swamp island, and since the ninja guardians were the Genshi family, the island was crowned Genshi swamps. The Genshi family were closely aligned with the World Government while also being an independent nation. Since the World Government frequently hired the family for assassinations, they knew the secrets of Rokushiki. Fumo was born into the Genshi family the eldest and therefore the proclaimed heir to the village. Fumo had a younger brother 2 years younger than him, and a little sister 5 years younger. Fumo was always being pushed hardest out of the siblings. They considered Fumo a prodigy, he was able to use a variety of weapons, brilliant camouflager, and was able to use rokushiki at age 10 since they had him in training since age 5. Fumo even had an extensive knowledge on the amount of poison and poisonous creatures on the island. Things were amiss though, Fumo envied his brother, Suno, who had not a care in the world and could just play with his friend while Fumo trained every day and rarely had time to himself. Suno was jealous of Fumo who everyone admired and he was the prodigy of the family, even his sister was showing promise with the scythe. So Suno began an intense training regimen he thought up for himself and ventured into the forbidden swamplands at the age of 11. Fumo knew the punishment for venturing into the swamplands was exile, and Suno had been missing for weeks, so one night Fumo went there to look for Suno. Fumo inside met a baby fox, which Fumo decided to adopt and the fox helped Fumo track down Suno who had already eaten a devil fruit, the toxic fruit. Fumo realized his brother had become corrupt by the power the devil fruit had given him and knew what he needed to do.
Fumo and his brother began to duel. Fumo refused to use his own nodachi knowing he would easily over power his brother and Fumo didn't want his brother's ego to be deflated by the difference in strength. Fumo and his brother battled for hours until finally Fumo decided to end it using his nodachi with 1 sole strike leaving his brother heavily injured and devastated and Fumo, as heir to the Genshi legend, sent his brother into exile. Fumo came back and told his parents of the news and his parents were very depressed leaving only Fumo's uncle to keep the position until Fumo came of age. Everyone on Genshi island knew Fumo's uncle, Sari, was an unfit leader but since the depression was slowly killing Fumo's parents, and Fumo was just barely 15, no one had the power to stop him. Until Fumo turned 16 and challenged his uncle to a duel, Fumo had spent the past 3 years, studying his uncle's technique, and since this was a challenge for leadership, this would be a public event. Fumo had skillfully dodged and countered all of his uncles attacks, which years of alcohol and blood poisoning from the swamp had diminished his strength and speed and only allowed him to attack effectively in patterns. With the aid of his fox, Kitsu, Fumo was able to trap his uncle and just as he was gonna deliver the defeating blow, Suno, returned now much stronger. Sari took this time as an opportunity to escape, leaving Fumo alone to fight Suno. Fumo tried to reason with Suno about attacking because this time there wouldn't be mercy but Suno wouldn't listen. With no other option, Fumo and Suno once again begun to fight. Seeing the sight of there to sons fighting was enough to drive their parents into a hysteria, Suno, not recognizing them, slaughtered them. Fumo now on a rampage hit Suno with an onslaught of attacks with his nodachi that Suno couldn't withstand. Fumo kicked Suno off a cliff into a ravine, and Fumo was about to pursue him, but his sister, Kagura, stopped Fumo and calmed his rage down. For the next few years, Fumo had ongoing peace in the village, now knowing either Suno was dead or he was to scared to come attack. Even Kagura had become a leader in the eyes of the people, a political genius in fact and she had mastered more rokushiki techniques than Fumo had, so Fumo left the village to his sister and set off.
Personality:
Fumo is quite the emotional and loud person for a ninja. He tends to bond with a person very quickly and acts childish to make up for the lack of playmates when he was young. Fumo also likes to confuse and trick people, talking in riddles when he first meets a person to pretend to keep an act of stealthy ninja. Fumo does act serious, he does meditate frequently, because he feels like to become a bunshin, he needs to achieve spirtual enlightenment. Despite Fumo's random behavior, he is quite intelligent having vast knowledge on different poisons and generally intelligent, able to quickly calculate how to be able to hit someone with 1 of his ninja stars or blowdarts.
