Not expecting the stone she was in to float in the air, Mara couldn't help but wonder if this third pirate knew a certain bounty hunter. That thought was at the moment however, irrelevant. There were three pirates here and at least two of them were fruit users. Swearing to herself for her rash action, she decided that she would have to give up this attempt. She was impulsive, but not stupid. Fortunately, her opponents still seemed to be distracted by conversation.
As quickly as she could, Mara exited the suspended stone, not towards anyone, but deeper into the forest. She was not expecting the weightlessness around her and stumbled before kicking off of the stone. She did not travel as fast as she had hoped, half of her energy moving into the stone, sending it off at her same speed. This would cost her valuable time.
