Usurper Pirates- Chapter 2: Marine Escapade...

Having no desire to get burnt, Mara dove her boot first into the fire only for a moment to kick up a burning log and plant her other foot down on it as it spun through the air, again removing her from sight as the piece of blazing timber rolled across the damp undergrowth, flames weakening.

As long as the log was not reduced to splinters, Mara could still use it to conceal herself. Fairly certain she had never fought these individuals before, the first logical conclusion they should approach was that she could teleport.

Alphonse didn't see what happened, it all happened so fast. He picked up Jack and prepared for the worst.

"DId she just leave? Ah well... better not waste the log.. I really don't want to leave camp alone to go ge wood..." Treant said as he kicked the log into the fire. "Be careful Al, the..." *Treant laughs* " 'Mother' may come back for her 'sons'...." After he stopped laughing, "sorry kid, it's just to funny!" Treant was still happy, but wasn't sure why, someone just tried to kill him.

Alphonse lowered jack. "Is she gone?" he looked to the sides, up and down.

"Hardly." Mara taunted again as she appeared to burst from the flames, foil drawn back, feet prepared to move her at a moment's notice. Thrusting the blade forward towards Treant, a blue light emanated from the sword's tip and rapidly formed into a piercing blast, capable of skewering most anything caught in it's path.

"Huh," Treant saw her, and used his power to barely avoid the strike. The specific one which was his choice was the vine stilt ability. He rose above the strike, his vine stilts seperated from the vines. "What did I do this time ma'am?" Treant asked in a patronizing voice, he had no choice but to figure her out before fighting, as she had a peculiar ability, and swordsmanship powers.

vato was about 5 minutes away of the place, treant told him about in the note, when he heard sounds of a fight close, he knew it was about 2-4 minutes away and he started sneaking in the direction, he blinked a few times with his eyes, to lower his weight(gravity) making sure no one heard him,

Jack grinned. "Okay then! Let's kill something!" he yelled as alphonse pulled him back, preparing again to strike.

"Hold it kid! I thought I was supposed to be sad for her? Now we're gonna kill 'er? Make up your mind!" Treant laughed at Alphonse, trying to lighten the mood, because someone just tried to kill him.

Alphonse paused; this was true, he was just sad, now he's giving in to jack's rage? Alphonse turned his head to treant, his eyes off to the left down, replying with "She...she tried to hurt you..."

"So now you see it the way you need to. Mercy isn't given to the merciless" Treant said in his usually, wise old man tone he took when talking to Al... "Don't you feel a little foolish for coming down on me before?"

vato was getting closer and he saw treant and all chatting, he knew something was happening he duck behind a tree checking if there were ennemies around

Taking a defensive stance, Mara placed one foot slightly underneath a nearby rock. "You are fully aware of your crimes. I need not explain them to you." Drawing her sword back once more, Mara spoke the last words she intended to during this conflict. "The marines are aware of your presence here. Give up now and perhaps we can arrange for only a life sentence."

As Treant had a bow in hand, he was sure she couldn't block all his strikes, and so, he placed one arrow in, and fired off his rose arch, (four roses are tied to the arrow, but the force of the air breaks the bindings, and so they are released, they can damage the enemy with their thorns) they seperated in a five way attack, one rose going to each of her limbs, and an arrow going to her head, "Kid! Get me my ax!"

Alphonse was suprised. "Axe?" he looked around hurriedly and found an axe of some sort. "Is this it?" he asked, holding it up.

"Yes! now get it to me! I need it to fight!" Treant yelled at Al, hoping to show the danger of the situation with an excited tone. "Once I get that, oh boy, it'll be a fun time huh ma'am?"

vato jumped out of the bushes, yelling ''captain whats wrong, youre in danger or something, All youre alright??''

Stepping to the left, Mara brought her weapon forward and made a circular motion with the blade producing a powerful burst of wind knocking the roses aimed at her left side off course just enough to miss her.

Startled by the additional arrival, Mara Swiftly brought her left foot up, causing the rock above it to become airborne. As it fell back to the ground, Mara gave it a swift kick; once again vanishing and ending the rock hurtling towards Vato.

vato who sighed when he was looking to the rock decided to let it fall on him, after he changed its gravity, he pointed his arms to the rock and lowering its gravity making the rock leviate a few inches above vatos head. he yelled '' look out with those rocks they are supposed to be heavy, little girls shouldnt be playing with heavy rocks '' he said laughing mara in her face

Treant was currently busy, trying to get his axe. He couldn't just go get it, if he did he would be attacked, so instead he just fired another rose arch at Mara. "Somebody get me my axe! Anybody! just do it!" He yelled, growing impatientent. He then looked at Mara, and asked, "would it be wrong to assume you had a terrible run-in with pirates before?" Treant could come to only one other conclusion, but that was far to one sided.

Alphonse hurriedly thrust the axe into treant's hand, hoping he wouldn't get attacked while reaching it.

Treant didn't waste time reaching it, instead he shot out vines that grabbed it for him. This way, he wouldn't have to deal with leaving himself in the open. "Thanks kid!" Treant yelled, while the vine withdrew, coming into his hand. He got in a fighting stance, and discarded his bow.
((yeah, but Treant is lazy...))

vato waited patiently for the marines next move, with both his weapons readdied, he closed his eyes to feel where she was.
