Appearance: Avarill is a rather large man, about 7 feet tall and powerfully built. He generally wears a red and white horizontally striped shirt under a marine blue trenchcoat. Avarill's hair is long, straight and brown and he has the average light skin color.
History: Avarill was the son of a notorious pirate in west blue. Due to this, he was himself a targe but not much note was taken of him, since he was just a kid. Despite this, as the son of a pirate captain, he learned fighting and could take down "normals" at the young age of 10.
His carefree attitude was already in effect in his younger years and while the crew was fighting another pirate crew, he slipped from sight with a knife to fight on his own. He got belowdeck on the enemy ship, but was spotted by a rookie crewmember. After a short battle, Avarill found an opening and drove his knife into the rookie pirate. He stopped for a breather in the enemy ship's kitchen and saw a really weird fruit on display. He was getting hungry, and decided to take the fruit on display. Taking and swallowing a piece of the fruit, he threw it away cursing it's atrocious taste. He started raiding the rest of the kitchen until he was spotted by another crewmember "Hey kid..!" The enemy pirate then saw the fruit on the floor and seeing the bite marks, a horrified look entered his face."No! Not the devil's fruit..!" The crewmember started backing down. "Devil's fruit?" a wicked smile entered Avarill's face. "Maybe this works." He looked at the pirate and opened his fisted hand in a quick motion. The doorway, the pirate and a part of the kitchen and hall were decimated in an explosive motion. A stray piece of table hit Avarill, bringing him down for a second. He then ran up onto the deck, only to find that the battle was already over on the deck.
Back on their ship the captain (and Avarill's father) ordered "Now that we have their treasure, sink it." As the men started readying the cannons, Avarill stopped them "Dad, let me" he smiled. "How could you sink it?" father questioned. "Just watch me" Avarill shot back.
He then turned to the enemy ship and looked at the visible part of the keel. He then purposefuly squeezed his hand. For a few seconds, nothing happened. Then the upper front of the keel and the ship around it suddenly collapsed into itself. The ship started taking in water fast as the crewmen looked on in amazement. As the ship tipped to the front, Avarill concentrated his power on the back of the keel, crushing it as well. The ship was sinking steadily. Finally, Avarill made a line of outward burst in the hull. The ship sunk quickly. "Err, son, what was that" the captain asked. "I ate a devil fruit from that ship!" He cheerfully responded.
the captain wasn't initially very happy about it, but eventually he accepted his son's choice to eat the fruit.
8 years later, after a long reign of succesful piracy, they were finally cornered in a city by the marines. A whole load of them. His father was slain in battle and their was ship ruined, but Avarill had decided that their crewmembers wouldn't die anymore. He stepped out against the marines, and as captain's son, told the others to run. He then fought against the masses of the marines, destroying half the town in the process of the long battle. In the end. The marines had retreated, as well as the other pirates. Avarill also got a big bounty right off the bat from this act.
He then proceeded to travel solo, winding up causing a lot of property damage in the process to a lot of people. This earned him his nickname "Property Damage" and raised his bounty more. He then decided to find a crew and is now looking for one.
Personality: Avarill has a penchant for destruction. He often winds up quarreling with someone and then destroying a good chunk of town in the ensuing battle. These tendencies have earned him a large bounty and sometimes revilement from people who recognize him.
Avarill is quite the carefree soul and often underreacts to trouble. He often doesn't take things seriously and is thus sometimes annoying in these situations. However, when he finally gets serious, he spares no destruction and usually ends up completely decimating the opponent and everything nearby. He does not shy away from violence.
Even when not fighting seriously, he always lacks a real concern for the material damages incurred. Thus he always winds up destroying parts of the battlefield.

Daito Style
Avarill has a large daito that he nevertheless wields one-handed. He does this due to the fact that his fruit abilities need one hand that can be fisted and unfisted at will, rather hard when it is on a sword hilt.
His actual style consists of wide, crushing blows aimed to slay weaker opponents even through a block and keep enemies on their toes and on the defensive. This style requires great endurance to keep up, which Avarill has in spades. In general, he has developed this style to cater to his strenghts. This style has no actual named attacks.
Learned Techniques:
Funka Funka No Mi tricks
-Funka Line: Avarill creates multiple small bursts of Funka. Despite the name, they need not be in a line. They may also be used like gatling guns.
-Hokai Line: Avarill creates multiple small bursts of Hokai. They may also be used like gatling guns.
-Delayed Funka: Avarill exploits the natural buildup time in the Funka to keep it delaying for a time up to 30 seconds.
-Delayed Hokai: Avarill exploits the natural buildup time in the Hokai to keep it delaying for a time up to 30 seconds.
-Funka Shield: Avarill intercepts incoming projectiles with a carefully placed Funka, causing them to stray wildly.
-Hokai Shield: Avarill intercepts incoming projectiles with a carefully placed Hokai, causing them to smash upon each other.
-Destructor Gatling: Avarill uses both of his hands in different combinations of Hokai and Funka Lines. He may either use only one type with both hands or both types with one hand using one type of ability.

- A large, sturdy daito. Made with expert skill, but it is not a Meitou. Just a good sword.
