| Baterilla a large tropical island located in South Blue is like little slice of heaven. Today people flock here in the hundreds by the hundred to celebrate the Annual Festival. Citizens of neighboring cities and islands, pirates, bounty hunters, and people of all kinds come to enjoy the islands festivities. The festival featured many activities parades, contest, and shows. Vendors showed off their products and food. Every year the crowds get larger. But not everyone comes just to sit back and enjoy. With all these people around sometimes tensions rise fights and drama become avoidable.
Standing shirtless and barefoot in front of large bulletin board no notice appearance amongst those in costumes and scantily dressed woman. Running his fingers through his long un-kept hair he looked over the schedule of events. There were a lot of things going on but.
Grinning widely Chaz was excited by all the choices. “Atcha!! So many choices, it’s a shame I can’t see it all. It going to be a busy day. I should feel up first” even though he was just speaking to himself he spoke louder than necessary. Looking around he ran to woman with a watch.
Interrupting her conversation he patted her on the shoulder. “Hey you what time is it?” The woman was in good mood and in the spirit of the festival and dressed like a cat she didn't mind Chaz one bit. Smiling she licked her hand like cats do sometimes just before looking down at her watch. But before she could answer her boyfriend stepped in between. Furiously he started yelling at Chaz. “What the hell are you doing interrupting people, idiot!” Red faced and flustered he had rolled his sleeves and was in Chaz’s face.
Not the least bit concerned he reached a hand up towards the man’s head tensing up he prepared to hit Chaz. But Chaz open hand just patted him the head giving it a rub. “It is a festival big guy cheer up. Are you hungry or do need a nap?” Looking back to woman she looked at him shocked before bursting out laughter. “Get him something to eat why don’t ya.” Nodding she tells him the time while holding her boyfriends arm so he doesn't further instigate the matter. Jogging a few feet away he comes to an abrupt stop reaching into his pocket he takes out something in shiny foil and tosses it at their feet. “Eat it now not later” is all he says before disappearing into the crowd. The big man picks it up and hand it to the girl. On the wrapper it reads Gum. 1/15

| A boy was standing on a billboard on the other side of the festival, balancing precariously on the top, a couple of people saw him and yelled at him to get off, but all he did to respond was spread an impish smile upon his face. He raised a hand to keep the sun out of his wide and chocolate brown eyes, his black hair dangling over his eyes, he brushed it out of his face to get a better look at his surroundings. Ignoring the angry yells of the people below him, he looked for his prize, the main event, at least as far as he was concerned, the real main event was nor for a few hours. He found what he was looking for and surprised the people below him by jumping off the billboard with a powerful bound. He landed in a clearing off people, almost hitting a woman on the head. Some people around him cursed and yelled at him, possibly about to give him a full-on lecture, but he ran off so suddenly and so swiftly that they were taken by surprise and could not follow him.
He grinned and ran on, thinking about entering the arm wrestling competition! He grinned excitedly, he was very well aware that it was not a normal thing for people his age to be really excited about, but he couldn't help himself! He wanted to show what he was made of to loads of people, and this festival was filled to the brim with several people of different shapes and sizes! Everyone would see him overpower fully grown men and beat everyone! He was so excited that he did not notice the shirtless boy with very unkempt hair until he had collided with him and knocked them both down to the ground, landing painfully. He grunted and helped himself to his feet, brushing himself off, he held out a hand to help up the guy he had knocked down Sorry mate, didn't notice you there a wide smile spread across his face I'm Shin he patted his head and noticed his cap was missing, he looked around for it.

| Chaz mind was focused one the wondrous meal he had envisioned they prepared. Eating competition were a great way to get free meal. Out of no where he was knocked off his feet. Looking he the person who knocked him down was already on his feet. I guess it was an accident. "No problem." Chaz smirked and grabbed his hand using it as anchor he pulled himself up. "Shin is it?" That's pretty short already, I suppose it will do. At first glance there was nothing special about Shin he was roughly the same age but there was kindness that others seemed to lack. But he was just to clean inhaling a bit confirmed this fact. It ws decided it today's mention was going to show Shin a good time. Chaz would not rest until he was filthy.
"Well Shin, I'm Chaz. Did you loose something? Where you headed?" It didn't really matter to Chaz he had his own plan for in mind for the pair of them. But the type of event he wanted to go to would tell Chaz a little bit about himself.

| Shin looked around for his cap, he loved that cap, there was nothing special about it in particular, it's not like it used to belong to someone important to him or anything, it was just a good cap and he really liked it. He realised he was being rude and looked back to the guy with the messy hair, who was confirming his name Yeah, it's a nice name isn't it. What's yours? He looked around for his cap when Chaz asked him a question, he seemed like a nice guy so Shin smiled as he spoke I lost my cap, it's white and round, if you see it can you let me know? he seemed quite distressed, he really wanted his hat back.
He was then asked where he was going, his smile spread further across his face, he got excited just being asked about it, he raised his fists in excitement and his face put on an enthusiastic expression when he was speaking I'm going to the arm wrestling competition! It's over there somewhere! he made a gesture in the direction of the competition before speaking some more I'm gonna win the prize money and I'm gonna use it to save up for a ship! Then I can go and sail the seas and become a pirate! he had said that last part a little loudly and started getting some weird looks from people around him, some civillians looked scared and backed away, those that took him seriously anyway, some marines stared at him suspiciously, not wanting another potential threat in their sea to make them busy, and some pirates grinned at him, admiring his courage and bravado, they were all like that once.

| Quickly Chaz's eyes scanned the floor around where they had fallen. He didn't see it but it was just a hat after all. Maybe it had some kind of sentamental value. Shrugging his shoulders he reverted his attention back to Shin. "No can't say that i see it, but sure if I do..." Chaz's voice broke off it had been sometime since own hair was short enough that a hat could cover his head.
Smiling Chaz thought Shin's choice of activity wasn't so bad but there was better stuff to do today. But when he said that he was looking to be a pirate Chaz looked at him differently this wasn't just some kid a festival he has ambition. "Arm wrestling not so bad but we can do better than that." Leaning in he pinched Shin's right bicep a few times. "Nope, no good at all" he jeered laughing obnoxiously loud. "What place were expecting? Let me save you the embarrassment, Pirate Shin. You wouldn't have won... First we will eat then we do something really fun! I will show you a great time then you show me your pirates resolve!"

| Shin looked around and saw his cap, it had been stood on and it looked very dirty, but this seemingly did not matter at all to the young pirate wannabe as he bent over and picked it up, he had been smiling already, but it was clear that if he was not then he would start. He fiddled with it so that it didn't have a foot shaped dent in it and placed it on his head. When he turned his attention back to Chaz, he felt his arm being pinched, he looked to see Chaz pinching his arm and tell him that he is inadequate Hey, shut up! I'm wearing a shirt with thick sleeves and I'm not even flexing! he blushed slightly, then rolled up his sleeve and flexed his arm, he was stronger than most people, but inadequate compared to Chaz.
Shin furrowed his brow, losing his smile What do you mean I'm not going to win? Do you think you could do better? even as he said that he knew that he wasn't going to gain some kind of advantage with that statement, the guy was ripped! He shook his head and regained his good mood, smiling again Sure thing! I love food! And I love doing fun things! a part of him wondered what he meant when he said he would show him his pirates resolve, that sounded slightly threatening, maybe he was going to fight him or something or he was going to make him pick a fight with some marines, whatever it was Shin was sure he would be ready for it, so he prepared to follow him wherever he wanted to go.

| Raising an eyebrow he stroked his chin and got serious for a moment as he thought. Well if I wasn't there you might have had a chance. But then again if you did win that says something about competition But there were more important things than physical strength there was also mental strength and character.
Chaz didn't bother answering the question about whether of not he could do better. He skills would be on display all day long if the young man was able to keep up. As Shin spoke of food it reminded him that competition was about to start any minute if they were going to make it they had to go fast. We got to get moving! Without looking back to see if he was being followed he quickly but this time carefully made haste to the completion that would start their day.
In less than a minute they would were in front of Restaurant a sign let them know that the food competition was on the patio out back. This patio had been outfited would Den-den mushi speaker system so that the announcer could speak over the crowd. All most all the competitors were already on stage.
An older woman, the announcer spoke into the speaker with a country accent. "We are looken for two more volunteers." The woman looked through the crowd to see who was going to fulfill the last to spots. In the crowd a skinny woman with dark blue hair starts making her way to the front.

| Shinichi was about to say something about Chaz's comment, and he was certainly about to give him a piece of his mind, but then Chaz said something about having to move and ran off. Temporarily defeated, Shin decided to just run after him, the two ran at about the same level of speed so although he wasn't fast enough to catch up after such a headstart he was still able to keep Chaz in his sights. Soon they came to some kind of restraunt, he looked at the vast crowd as he finally caught up to Chaz, who had gone to a stop in front of the restraunt. He looked up at an older woman with some kind of accent who was speaking into a speaker, when he heard that two volunteers were needed, he looked to Chaz, then began to move his way over to her. When he reached her he spoke up I would like to enter! | |

| Laughing hysterically while sitting next to blue hair woman a few of the audience members gave chuckles some of which were stimulated by Chaz's ridiculous outburst. "Sorry hunny but it was first come first serve." Gesturing towards the table she feels slightly sad for the boy. "You didn't need to tell me you should have just sat down." She spoke to him kindly and away from the microphone as to not further embarrass him. "I'm sure there are other competitions or you can go inside if you want to eat."
Before Shin could respond to the woman Chaz speaks up loud enough that you would think he had the microphones. As he did the some people started placing water melons on the table. "Don't worry it about we will get something after I'm done here." Some of the competitors looked down the table to get a better look at Chaz with confused looks they stared. There was also some whispers in the crowd. People wondering what kind of person eats after a food eating competition. Paying no attention to them Chaz continued. "Just wait over there pointing next to the tent where the watermelons where being brought from.

Shinichi laughed at his own misfortune, not minding too much that everyone else was laughing at him, he didn't tend to care about those kind of things often. He heard Chaz speaking very loudly and listened, then he gave Chaz a thumbs up and walked over to he tent. He waited until the competetition would start, he planned on rooting for Chaz of course.

| Everyone had there own methods for winning these competitions some of these were professionals. Well you couldn't exactly make a living off it and this was an amateur event. So no one was expecting anything outlandish. One big guy even had a exceptionally large fork and knife. The rules were simple everyone would eat until they couldn't give up. Throwing up led to disqualification. The rind and the seeds didn't have to be consumed.
Walking over the corner of stage she grabbed the rope that hung from large bell. Giving it a shake the bell rang signal the start of competition. The water melons that were put on the table already split open so time wasn't wasted. Putting his face into the melon he quickly started eating like a pig might eat out of a trough. Every once in awhile he and some of the other would pause to spit out seeds. Some of which went flying the audience. Other competitors ate the seeds. Chaz of course was unable to monitor his progress compared to the others. But it was clear he wasn't doing that well. The average so far was three melons Chaz was only on his second. When he looked and started to give signs of reaching his limits. Wiggling in his seat he let out a large belch that immediately discharged some seeds he had collected. Before he continued. But only for a moment finishing his second watermelon Chaz stood up he had quit after eating just two. Some people booed having expected more after the impression he gave earlier. Sticking his thumb up he gave slight wink toward Shin before walking off stage.

| Shin watched the eating contest hopefully, but he started to see that Chaz was not doing very well, by the time people were eating their third melon Chaz was only eating his second. Shin was honestly expecting more, even he could have done more, and he wasn't nearly as good as Chaz was making himself seem like. Watching all this eating made Shin's stomach growl so loudly someone glanced at him with a weird look on his face, like Shin was a dog that had tried to pee on his leg, Shin decided he didn't like this guy immediately, he seemed snooty. The man scowled and walked away, his hand gripping something in his pocket as he glared at Shin, for a second he seemed like he was considering to do something, then decided against it and walked away.
He looked back to the eating contest to see that his new friend had eaten his full, he couldn't eat anymore, Shin looked to his new friend as he winked at him. This made Shin smile, Shin didn't take Chaz to be a bad loser and this proved it, not only did he not make a fuss about his defeat, but he accepted it and did not let it ruin his mood or even affect his emotions at all. Shin could tell that the smile given as he winked at Shin was genuine, he wasn't hiding behind a mask. Shin waited for his new friend to return patiently, he was now sure that he would have fun with Chaz, as Chaz had promised when they met, he seemed to have found a kindred spirit.

| All though the competition was over for Chaz he had something else in mind. Water melons weren't his idea of a meal. He much rather buy something if this is what they were going to be eating. Instead graciously walking of stage without a word he motion to Shin to follow by pointing at him then in the direction he was headed. Chaz was by no means stealthy but that was okay because everyone else was looking in the same direction.
Walking alongside the tent he reached the back. Because it wouldn't be there that long it wasn't very securely fastened crawling underneath he observed from behind one of the large plastic bins that held the watermelons. Waiting until the man left with two watermelons in hand to bring to the table, Leo pulled the bin out from the tent. Quickly lets hall ass! Lift up the bin full of melons clear off the ground his strength was obviously had surpassed normal humans. Taking off as fast as he could he would not be nearly as fast with the added weight.
A few people who had not gone to the food contest had seen moving suspiciously under the tent and coming out with bin. Assuming correctly that it didn't belong to him they rushed off to tell someone what happen.
"Some one stop that man those to belong to him!" A few people at the competition turned and looked. Two melons had left behind on the floor near the tent right next to Shin so whether he liked it or not he would receive some of the blame.

| Shin was by no means shy to a little illegal activities, he noticed Chaz point to him and then to a certain direction, Shin instantly understood the message, luckily for them no one noticed him gesturing because they were all watching the eating contest. He met with Chaz at the back of the tent and looked at him for a second, a smile creeping across his face as he understood what they were about to do. He crawled under the tent with Chaz and for a second he was going to help Chaz with the huge plastic bin but he quickly saw that he need not have even thought about bothering as Chaz effortlessly lifted the bin without any kind of assistance.
Shin saw another plastic bin filled with melons, although this one was not quite as completely huge as Chaz's and walked over to it, for a second he wondered whether or not he should take it, but he simply shrugged it off and picked it up, he let out a slight grunt but had no troubled running off with it. He was able to catch up with his new friend quite quickly because he was still strong in his own right and was not carrying as heavy a bin. He was gone long before the melons were noticed. He noticed that a few people had spotted them and were running off to get help, he looked at Chaz Hey, Chaz. Some guys spotted us, they'll probably call for marines or police officers his voice was serious as he said that, but he couldn't keep a straight face You fancy a good chase? he giggled slightly and his legs were tensed, ready to run.

| Grinning heavily he was quite pleased to see that Shin managed to pick up on the hint. Not only that he took a bit further and got his own bin.
Huh? The marines... now why in hell would they do that?" There were most definitely marines on standby but they wouldn't be desperate to take action over some petty theft or a bit of festival mischief.
Not long after the pair had snuck off with the melons did the competition organizers notice the missing melons. Letting a out a cry of frustration "There gone... Stolen... Someone has taken the melons!" Two more people had already been eliminated and the gap was big between the remaing few. They needed more melons for a definative victory.
"Stop those ass holes those are our melons." The crowd had came there to see a show they weren't an organized crime fighting force and they definitely didn't want to end up in some drama that would get them hurt when they simply were looking to be entertained. A couple wanna be vigilantes who were already in front of Chan & Shin stepped forward to block there path. Holding out there arms they attempted to discourage them running any further.
Big mistake This was just what Chaz was hopping for. "Hey Shin, have you ever been bowling?" Grinning mischievously reached into the bucket while still running. Palming it in his hand he drew it back underhand (like bowling ball) and with his superior strength rolled it hard yet skill fully. With speed it manage gather enough force burst upon hitting them on impact sending them flying out of the path

| Shin shrugged at Chaz pointing out that the marines wouldn't be likely to attack them just for a little petty theft I guess I'm just getting excited about this, it is pretty fun after all he grinned and laughed a little. When the organizers yelled about their melons being stolen he tried to stop his excited giggles but he could not stop the flood gates from opening and he burst out in abrupt laughter. A couple of guys came out to block their path, but Shin just smiled impishly. He heard Chaz ask about bowling, he was about to ask about what bowling had to do with anything when he saw Chaz bowl a melon at the guys, Shin laughed really hard at the poor suckers that were now covered in melon juice and on the floor, some had just gotten a little messy however and were in need of some melons.
Shin was ready to show Chaz what he was made of now, he smiled and turned to look at Chaz for a second Watch this! he picked up a melon and his hands shook to the point that he wasn't just shaking them, his hands, and the melon in them by extension, were violently vibrating Shindo Shindo no... he threw the melon, which by now was heavily damaged and very fragile, at one of the men standing in their path, still trying to stop them despite seeing what Chaz had done ...Melon grenade!! he caught it, but it was so fragile it burst anyway and got him covered in melon juice, he slipped in melon juice and fell to the ground. It had not been as effective as Chaz's, but he found it just as funny.

| Dumb founded but not having time ask to Chaz wondered what the heck he just saw. They didn't need all these melons and Chaz still wanted real food before going to see what else they could do. "Could you do that the rest of your bucket?" Chaz kind of curious what that ability would do on larger scale plus it seemed like the perfect way to escape. "As soon as it explodes we split up and meet up where we met.
In preperation for his escape he set the bin of melons down for a moment there was already a decent gap between Shin Chaz and the people who were after them. Chaz looked around trying to decided which way was the best to escape. His eyes rested on on a path that had large and clothe. He knew which way he would be going.

| Shin was asked if he could do what he did on the watermelon to the bucket he had taken, he smirked and looked his new friend in the eye Is that a request or a question? Because I feel insulted if you're seriously questioning my abilities! he grinned widely and then looked back to the bucket, placing his palms around it. He took a deep breath in and then his hands started vibrating at insanely high speeds, there was no way he should have been able to withstand the friction he created but he didn't seem to even notice it, he gripped the bucket and it started to vibrate too. Much like the melon before it, the bucket and the melons inside of it started to crack until they were very unstable, at this point Shin hurled the bucket at the people trying to stop them Shindo Shindo no Melon missile!!
As soon as the bucket was in the air, Shin ran for it away from the tent and away from the proper meeting place, this was to confuse anyone who tried to follow them of their meeting point. The bucket smashed on the ground and the impact smashed all the fragile watermelons with it, sending pieces of bucket, pieces of melon and melon juice everywhere. Anyone who did not have the sense to run for it like Shin or Chaz would be covered in melon, Shin's laughter boomed in the ears of the disoriented people. One of the contestants, a fat man in his fourties, determined not to have come to this festival for nothing, started to eat the pieces of melon that had gotten on him ravenously, as well as some that had landed on the table. When he was finished he stood up, yelled 'boom' and walked away, taking the trophy which was now covered in melon juice on his way out.

| Well then, make it a request! Although Chaz wanted to see the full show there wasn't time for that the moment between Shin taking action and the window to exit for the escape were crucial. As the bucket flew into the air Chaz took off in sprint for the table he had seen before. Setting down the bucket briefly he grabbed the clothe that covered and drapped it over the bucket before picking up again. It was now covered and no one would have any clue what was it without stopping him to look inside.
The melons burst covering the air in a pink mist of fruit pieces and seeds. The sudden explosion caused the crowd to stop in their tracks. Some of which noticed what was happening and dropped to their stomachs to seek cover others who were near by caught the full blast and were the moment blinded or rather it was hard to see cause of the food in their eyes. This provided the Shin & Chaz their chance to escape. The ground in between them and others was both slippery and sticky. It would no longer be easy to run on.
Once Chaz had rounded the corner he took to walking. If he were to have ran some more he would have brought attention back on himself. As he slowly made his way back he stopped by a booth and ordered a few shish kebab enough for him and Shin to enjoy. Trading the woman a few water melons, she had no idea where he had gotten them. "Thank you, come again!"
Kicking the bucket as he held the food he made his way back to the point where he was suppose to meet with Shin. Elsewhere the law keepers finally show up and start investigating the water melon incident.
