South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Empty
PostSubject: South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten   South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Icon_minitimeThu Jan 30, 2014 12:17 pm

Rutland is small village on a larger island in South Blue. It had a long deep seeded history dating back over one hundred years.  It had been burn down and knocked down several time but each time the city was rebuilt in the same area.  This town was under the Jurisdiction of Govenor Nakfu Belright. The town however was looked over by a man named Byran.  This town didn't have much money but supported its self through farming and hunting.  Some of its residence commute for to a larger town on the island.  Because of its location and lack of wealth it doesn't see much outsider traffic especially from pirates.  There is no formal police station.  The larger city is supposed to lend law keepers to the town and switch them out routinely but this hasn't been done in at least five years.  Instead the same man and woman had been at the job the whole time.

Having left his life of luxury Leonardo had settled in south blue living a meager life style most the time. He took no money with him and he had no keep sakes of value.  All that he had from that was is the cape and goggles that remind that reminded him of his child hood dreams to fly.  But he also had with him the ability that let him do it. But it was more of that this devils power was a symbol to let all those who were shackled. The man who had died so that he could use this power gave up his life so Leo could fulfill his ambition.  This cursed ability was paid for with blood.  And before the dream was complete many more would die.

Walking down an ally Leonardo swayed rhythmically to the beat in his own head. Up ahead four children were playing keep away from the smallest. The little boy screamed out in frustration as breeze caught Leo's cape.

"Give me back my ball!" Laughing children paid him no attention.

Ikari looks out from atop the ship at the island that was approaching.  She had been forced to sneaking onto a trading ship.  Ikari shook her head at the memory of finding out she was in a different Blue.  Making her right hand into a fist, Ikari looks up to the sky with a solid feeling that if she ever met Jack again, she would punch him.  Just once, but that's all she needed.  Just one punch for the idiot that took her to a different Blue.  Ikari looked around the corner of where she was currently hiding.  No-one.  Good.  They were probably all getting ready to take the cargo offshore.  Ikari stood where she was, keeping an eye out.  Her baggy work clothes made her look like some form of grey blob.  Not exactly the best thing to be wearing when trying to sneak around.

Once the ship docked, Ikari took her time.  She allowed the first few men to take crates down to the shore before deciding to, slowly, climb over the rail of the ship and jump onto the shore.  Ikari landed with a low thud.  Looking around, Ikari saw a man looking at the crates placed onto the shore.  She walked briskly off the dock and into the town.  Taking a moment to gather her thoughts, Ikari thought it best to leave, what seemed to be, the main town on the island...or the only town.  Walking with a purpose, Ikari eventually found the outskirts of the town and decided to leave to another smaller town if she could find one.  Best to walk for a while and find a different town than be branded a stowaway and possibly a thief.

There trail leading outside of town was well worn into. Trade between towns was common and these same routes were used when taxes were being retrieved from the outlying villages.

Walking closer to the kids one of them gets distracted looking at Leo and drops the ball. Making a break for others run and try to recover it first. "What are you doing? Pat attention." One kid said more annoyed that the boy didn't at least try to recover it, than he was because it was dropped.  Then he saw what had distracted the other.

Frowning at the children he speaks to them. "Whats going on hear?" Raising his hand he instead tells them "don't answer that." Looking at the smallest of the children. "You know you will never get it back like that, don't ya, at least not like that. So why keep at it?"

"Because its mine I can't just let them take it." The boy starts cry." Raising a hand he swiftly smacks the boy and kicks another.

"It had to be done for couldn't be left standing. So I had to knock down 2 instead of just one. Either would have been fine it if it wasn't for the four." Let out a vulgar laugh Roarhorhorhe pressed onwards with out looking back he told the youngest of the boys. "Tears won't solve your problems get stronger and no one can make of fool of you..." Picking up the ball he took it with him tossing it up with one hand and catching it.

Talking in whispered voices so not to draw the man back. "Who was that?" Helping each other up there weren't seriously hurt just sore.

Ikari continued to walk towards the next little village.  Looking around and taking in her surroundings, Ikari begins to notice how plain the island seems to look.  The amount of animals on the island seem to be minimal.  Compared to her home island, this place seemed to be like some sort of purgatory to her.  She was used to animals running everywhere, the large forest that enclosed the one human settlement, the bustle of her friends and clients, the marines.  A sudden flare of anger lit in Ikari's eye at the memory of the marines in her home-town.  She needed to get stronger somehow.  Perhaps she could build more alterations to herself.  Something like small blowtorches in her front teeth and gas container in the roof of her mouth that blows towards the flame.  Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.  Ikari smiled at the image in her head.  The so-called "King" of Hirou Island unable to defend himself against a flame coming from Ikari.  Ikari began to take mental notes of how to build such easily.  She went into a place of her own, shutting out the world around.  However, due to this, Ikari failed to realise that she had reached the village she was walking towards; a village named Rutland.

South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Empty
PostSubject: Re: South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten   South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Icon_minitimeSat Feb 01, 2014 11:21 pm

In the middle of the village known as Rutland was a small shack with two big men in the front of the door. One of the men was pale skinned but with red burns around his shoulders and face. He had a white tank top and black shorts; his hair was dark brown. The other man was very dark skinned with no hair on his head. He had no shirt and had muscles around his body like cuts and bumps on a finely crafted statue. His pants were long and raggy, like a homeless man's pants. The white man was very fat, a beer gut and overall blubberness made up most of his weight. The black man looked at the white man. "Hey, you think the boss will like the guys down there today?" The white man looked at the black man, "Hells yeah boy, sum of dem critters looked very mean. But I doubt they can really compare to us in a fight." Both of them started laughing almost immediately, like a hidden joke was put inside somewhere.

Inside the tiny cottage, which looks like a portable bathroom, was stairs that stretched to a darker hole underground. This was one of the hundreds of thousands of fighting arenas in the world; of course only those that knew about the underworld would know about their existence. In the arena was two men fighting. By this stage one of them was in a boxer position while the other was in a kickboxing stance.. although the latter had it very wobbly. The boxer ran forward and attempted to strike the wobbly man (whom was bleeding at the face by this point). The boxers fist connected with the mans face in such a manner that most of the people surrounding the imaginary circle made of people cringed. The wobbly man fell. The boxer walked out with cash that a man wearing a suit gave to the boxer. Another man walked in the middle of the fight. He had black hair and light green eyes. His eyes were half closed and curved; reminded some people of snake eyes.

The positioned himself by putting both of his hands in front of him, almost like a boxer but less firm and more gentle around the wrists. The opponent was a big farmer with a straw hat and a jean one piece with jean strings holding it up. The black haired man with dark green eyes (Kaizen) had a long sleeved buttoned shit that reached the top. He looked like he had just left from working in a bank. A ring was heard from somewhere and the fight began. The farmer ran towards Kaizen right in the ring of the bell. Kaizen positioned himself and waited. A smirk crept across his face.

Two bodyguard stats:

As he continue down the street he continued tossing the ball until reaching his destination.  Looking up he saw a sign that signified a general supply store.  In small town it would also be a hub of information, in addition to a tavern.  What Leo was looking for was specialty item it wasn’t likely here but it wouldn’t hurt to look. As he pushed open the doors a bell chimed signaling that someone had entered. An impressive layout of shelves and counters filled the space.  However the shelves themselves were hardly full they held the bare minimum of items no luxuries could be seen.  There were a few handmade crafts likely made locally and brought here hoping it would increase the likely hood of a sale.  Leonardo didn’t see anyone initially but a voice. “I’ll be right out honey.” Just then there was a loud crash from location of the voice.

At the entrance two men on horses  greeted Ikari. One circled around her playfully as the other stood back. “What do we have hear a zombie in mecha cosplay? Hehehe” His voice was pretty high for a man and his tone condescending. Another man whose face was cover by the brim of large hat and handkerchief said through a much deeper voice that was harder to understand “I would leave that one alone...”

Ikari, trapped a world of her own, continued to walk forward.  However, once the man on the horse began to circle around her, Ikari snapped back to reality and stopped in her tracks.  This person had stopped her mid-brainstorm.  They had better have had a good reason to.  Ikari looked up at the man, the reticle in her right eye seemingly analysing the man.  The man, seemingly having the pitch of voice more suited to a women, then spoke to Ikari.  As the supposed man spoke, a thick vein seemed to pulse on Ikari's forehead.  Her, some zombie-mech?  Not only had this man stopped Ikari during her brainstorm, but also insulted her.  The other man, the one with the deep voice, spoke.  Ikari smiled and open her mouth to reply, pointing at the man with the deep voice;
"You. You have the right idea. Well done for figuring that out."
Ikari moved her hand to point at the man on the horse;
"You, on the other hand! Get out of my way and stop pestering me, or get off the horse so I can punch you with much greater ease."
The pulsating vein on her forehead seemed to have died down, but the tone of Ikari's voice let slip that she was more than just a little annoyed.

PostSubject: Re: South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten   South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Icon_minitimeSun Feb 02, 2014 8:04 pm

Stopping his horse just shy her on Ikari's right hand side he look back and complained.  "Come on you never let me have any fun.  Just this once let me take one home?" Giving him a fierce look the other man said no words in response to the complaint lodged against him his look was enough. "We have work to do. Lets get started.  Turning around he didn't wait. Giving Ikari one final look over he bit his lips and continued on with his work.

Going towards the noise Leo floated onto the nearest shelf and then jumped from shelf until he had reached the sound.  The woman had fallen over but he didn't reach out hand to help. Instead he looked over the situation that had befallen her. A knocked over ladder and a broken vase with money scattered about told him that she had fallen trying to reach it. "Can you move?" There was no compassion in his voice.  But because he asked it came across as showing some sort of concern.  But in reality he wanted to know did he have to come back or would she be able to still help him.

"Well aren't you just a sweet talker, give me your hand so I can get up shug." Complying Leo reaches down giving her a hand.  It wasn't much money and Leo wasn't one to steal petty amounts from the already disfranchised. Dusting herself off she apologizes.  "We don't see many travelers do you live in town?"

"No, I don't. Actually I was looking for an item I was hopping you could sale me. Might you have a log post?"

"What a strange item. No we don't have any of those. We don't have much of anything these days. Most of what we make gets collected in the form of tax. Matter of fact you might not want to be around those do the collecting are all that friendly. They no we don't make that much but they tend to break more stuff while they collect then its worth."

"Why not revolt? You don't have to stand for an unjust system." Speaking these words calmly only added to the woman unsteady. "What a vulgar thing to say I wouldn't go around saying something like that so causally, the walls have ears."

Just as soon as the match began, blood was already expected to fall to the floor. The farmer charged at Kaizen with anger in his eyes; no doubt a man that fought with this much conviction had a reason for being here. Kaizen already analyzed that much. The opponent was big, but like most farmers his knowledge should be more concentrated on rifles and using weapons then actual martial arts. Unless he got training of some sort. Kaizen immediately sent a kick upwards and connected the man's face. The force of the kick staggered the farmer for a moment, but then he grabbed Kaizen's leg and swung him to the ground. "Ok.. so maybe he knows some wrestling from the animals he might have helped take care off.." Kaizen thought to himself. The farmer screamed and ran to him. Kaizen rolled to the side, barely missing the kick he was trying to deliver. Kaizen stood up again trying to see the mark he left on the side of the man's head.. Kaizen missed the last time, hitting his jaw instead of the side of his head. He had to aim higher next time.

The farmer ran towards Kaizen again. Kaizen positioned himself once more with his right leg behind the left. When the farmer was in position Kaizen immediately sent two of his kicks in the air and connected with the man's side of the head. The man stopped, and Kaizen smirked after the same repetition as before. Kaizen hit the farmer's jaw. Kaizen suddenly raised the kick higher and struck the man's side of the head with two quick kicks with equal strength but in a split moment. The farmer struggled to stand up and fell to his knees. Kaizen put his leg down and delivered one more kick to the center of the side of the man's skull. A small cracking sound could be heard through the crowd even through their screaming/roaring/cheering.

Kaizen walked to a man holding a purse in his hands and grabbed the small bag of money. "I do assassinations for a fee that isn't much more then winning a round of this fighting arena. The harder the kill the more money, of course." Kaizen spoke. The man listened and nodded, he would keep Kaizen in mind. Kaizen waited in the fighting arena. Maybe more people would show up eventually for him to fight. The more showed themselves the more he can prove himself in the fight. The fighting area wasn't more then a 80 square feet long; it was a fight club after all and one of the only ones that continue in the same spot. Nobody expected the portable bathroom, even with the two grunts outside. With rare to none marines or security it made the job easy to make sure nobody went inside.

South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Empty
PostSubject: Re: South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten   South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Icon_minitimeSun Feb 02, 2014 8:42 pm

As the two men left, Ikari both felt pleased and a little disappointed.  She would have loved to just punch that man on the horse.  Shaking her head at the pleasing image of her fist crunching into the nose of that annoying idiot, Ikari moved on to where she originally planned to go.  It was lucky that those men stopped her at the entrance to the town otherwise she may have just walked straight through.  Putting her mind into the correct place, Ikari set off towards the general store of the village.  With some luck, she might find some gas containers.  Looking around once more, Ikari surveyed the place.  Okay.  With a lot of luck.

Having approached the store, Ikari stopped and stared at the door with a grim look on her face.  She had overlooked a single major flaw in her plan on making her breath fire like a dragon; Money.  She had none.  With a rejected sigh, Ikari's face slumped to face the floor. While looking dejected, a slim and ghastly-looking man walks smoothly up to Ikari.  The man seems to quickly look over Ikari, judging her worth.  This continues for a fair while before Ikari snaps at the man;
"What?!"
The man simply smiles at Ikari and speak in a dangerously honey-like silky voice;
"It would seem, my dear, that you require some funds.  Come with me, and a girl of your calibre can achieve a great many things."
Thinking for a moment, Ikari sharply nodded.  The man smoothly walked towards, what seemed to be, the centre of the village.

After a few minutes of walking, the man stopped in front of, what seemed to be, an outdoor toilet.  Two guards stood at the entrance.  What was this, some exclusive outdoor toilet only meant to be used by the best of the best.  And how exactly was this meant to let her earn money.  The man spoke up once more, speaking to the guards;
"Another one to be allowed entry, if you please."

PostSubject: Re: South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten   South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Icon_minitimeSun Feb 02, 2014 9:00 pm

One of the guards, the white one (Bob) shoved the bulky man (Bill) when he saw a girl coming in with a suited man. She didn't look like the usual women walking in the arena with fancy shirts and pants, but something about her made Bob slick his hair back and lick his sweaty lip. His cheeks had about a pound of fat on them alone, which made almost every movement jiggle them and his three chins together. "Bet'chu this one is hir fur da fights." Billy looked at him, then back at the girl. "You're on." When the suited man talked to them, whom was a regular at the underground fight club for bringing competitors or women for entertainment, he talked to the two guards and explained that she was here for entry. That usually meant for fights; if he was holding her for 'entertainment' he probably would have been much more rude.

Bob spoke, "Yeah, I'll let'er thru. But Ai'll be waitin fur hir to leave da fights. I want her boooodeh." The man touched his body in a mocking manner, like he were a woman with a shape. Billy smiled and stepped to the side. Bob wasn't joking in the sense that he was going to wait for her when she comes out. He'll probably want to harass her to date him; and maybe do things that would get average men killed. he didn't care though, this was a dark world. Bob grabbed the door by the handle and opened it, allowing both of the 'guests' to go inside. "I hope you chose a real fighter this time, suits." Billy spoke to the man in the suit walking in the room. He closed the door behind him and they both looked ahead making sure nobody else went inside without special permission.

Kaizen was in the crowd waiting to be called again to fight. He was also seeing the two pair fighting at the time. A half giant farmer was fighting a retired guard from another village far away. The half giant was grabbing the retired man by the neck and holding him in the air by this time. He was kicking the ground but there was nothing under his feet. The half giant squeezed his neck until a small crack went through the room. He threw the corpse to the ground and walked away with the bag of money. He walked through Ikari on the way out. He was 15 feet tall.. so it'd be hard to ignore him.

Outside of town
Several horse draw carriages make their way to the other towns that populate the island.  Each of which had two armed guards.

Rutland
“Where did that woman go? Where is she always running off to?”  Looking for his wife and partner he made his rounds around town.  She should know that taxes would be collected it was important that they be there to assist whomever came to collect.

“Your not the first to spout such nonsense, my sons and daughter were like that. And they aren’t here anymore.  Them and so many others work in the quarries.  Its not like they are the only ones they just don’t get to leave.”  Speaking of her family only caused the woman tears.
Turning his back he left the woman crying without comforting her.  “So you didn’t have it after all.” It was as he attempted to leave the store he saw the police officer making his way in.

PostSubject: Re: South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten   South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Icon_minitimeSun Feb 02, 2014 9:45 pm

Ikari shudders after the door behind herself and the man closes.  Did that rather rotund man actually say that she wanted her body?  Fair enough that she was probably the first woman that he could have possibly touched in aeons.  Ikari would rather go back to the beginning of The Great Massacre and lose half her body mass countless times than lie with that man.  In fact, she'd rather do that than connect with most men, but's mostly due to the fact that most men are violent and seem to think they have a right to women.  Ikari coughed under her breath at the thought.  Shaking her head to focus on what was ahead, both herself and the man beside her walked down the stairs into what seemed the depths of Hell.

Ikari emerged at what seemed to be a fighting pit, barely sidestepping past the large burly man.  The man seemed to leave with a fair sum of belli but at the cost of another man's life.  Ikari disliked places like these, where men would fight to the death simply for the sake of more coins in their pocket.  The man looked at Ikari and spoke in his silky voice once again;
"Stand in the middle of the ring, I'll set up a fight for you."
Ikari, hardly trusting the man, grudgingly agrees and goes to stand in the ring.  The man who seemed to try and keep order, organising fights.  He spoke to the man;
"Make it a good and bloody fight."

Brushing past the police officer Leo’s hand brushed the officer’s gun. But he was too distracted notice.  And to use to a cushy position have this most basic of instinct of reaching to protect his weapon. Surprised by the visitor the island the police officer was the one to apologize. “O excuse me I’m just… well never mind. Welcome to Rutland.” Smiling kindly and politely he could not fake the fact that his concentration was elsewhere normally he did not mind he wife doing the other things with her time.   But one of the few duties they were required to do needed to be done.

“James is that you? Is it time, I was just getting things together.” Nodding to Leo he steps in and Leo walks off.
“No they aren’t here yet I was actually looking for Anna.”
As if keeping a secret she brushes him and changes the subject. “Im sure she will turn up help me with mess why don’t you.”
“You know I can’t do that.” Three of the children from came in.
“Officer J officer J the man he he kicked us and stole are ball”

Town entrance

“What the fuck is going on here.” The two officer with loot already loaded on to the cart not all of which was money. “Where are those to shit heads, we give them one job, one job!.”
“The most cushy  of jobs at that.”

South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Empty
PostSubject: Re: South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten   South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Icon_minitimeSun Feb 02, 2014 10:57 pm

Kaizen watched a woman enter the room right after the half giant left. She had rather pale skin and black hair, with some noticeable white on them. She had a slim figure, and an average bust that Kaizen couldn't help but watch. A lot of the women here looked more attractive, sure, but she had an air of.. danger. She came in with a man with a suit, Kaizen recognized him as one of the agents around this place. Last time he was here he picked out a random homeless man from the streets, Kaizen witnessed the man get beaten to death by average large man. It was embarrassing. The woman stepped to the middle of the ring with the crowd whistling at her presence. Kaizen could only smirk. He didn't know the reason for her being in the middle of the arena, but he knew it had to be important.. after all, it's rare you see a woman fighting for money that wasn't important.

Eventually Kaizen heard his name from the announcer. Kaizen walked forward and introduced himself to the woman in front of him, regretting that he was the one that would have to fight this woman whose name he didn't yet know. The man told Kaizen to make it a good and bloody fight.. this wouldn't be food for him. Kaizen positioned himself to fight with both of his arms in a semi boxing manner. His right leg was in front of the other by two feet and bent in the air. Suddenly the bell rang and kaizen waited. he spoke to the woman.

"My name is Kaizen, I'd like to know your name.. or do I have to beat you to get it?"

Town entrance

“Never mind them for now. We’ll make the rounds and just report them.  Things are apparently lacking hear what is everyone doing today is non work day yet the streets are nearly empty.”
“We will find them… It not like they can get away with not paying.  If they can’t pay the price then they will just work it off, plus the penalty fee.

Outside the Store

Leo wanting to things over decided to sit on the railing just outside the shop.  This was poor town but it wasn't the only town. And even though this one had very little if he could find out where it was all going he would have the opportunity to gain a vast sum of money in hurry.  And to top it off there might be some boats he could use carry all in and fence the lot of it. Leo used his float fruit to rock back forth as he sat cross legged on the banister. To others it would just seem he had great balance although he had yet to achieve the balance need to pull this off.

South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Empty
PostSubject: Re: South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten   South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Icon_minitimeMon Feb 03, 2014 6:34 pm

As Ikari walks to the ring, sudden cheers and whistles come from around her.  It was rather obvious that the ring didn't see women that often, if at all.  The vein on her forehead began to pulse once again to the jeers of the men around her.  It was bad enough that she forced herself to participate in this underground fighting arena, but now she had to force herself to not punch every man here staring at her bust.  Breathing slowly, Ikari slowly regained her senses, glancing around.  The man from before seemed to have just finished talking to someone, presumably a fight co-ordinator.  That is if they even have a fight co-ordinator in a place like this.  Ikari rolled up her sleeves to rest just above her elbows.  As another man begins to walk towards the ring, Ikari lowers her goggles in preparation for the fight that is about to ensue.

The man that approached seemed to be not that much taller than Ikari.  He was perhaps a few inches taller than Ikari.  The man gave his name to Ikari, asking for her name in return.  The man was Kaizen.  Odd name for a simple farmer out here in Rutland, but I guess this is what passes for fun in a farming village; naming your children odd names.  At least, Ikari believes it to be odd.  Taking a few breaths, Ikari decided it would be best not to use her full strength against a farmer.  She would rather not kill an innocent, but she did want this to finish quickly.  Ikari cracked her neck and slowly walked towards Kaizen while speaking;
"The name is Ikari, and be happy as this is a once in a life-time opportunity for you."
Keeping her cybernetics at bay, Ikari would punch straight towards Kaizen's chest area, doubting that the man would be able to fully defend a punch from her.

Kaizen heard her name. Apparently it was Ikari. Kaizen liked it. The name wasn't so special that it was annoying, and it wasn't so used that it was boring. Kaizen smiled and watched her attempt to punch him. However whatever happened next would move in such a speed that it would be hard for her to counter. Kaizen moved his body to the right, which effectively dodged the slow punch that came his way. In that opening after the punch Kaizen swung his leg upwards and attempted to connect with Ikari in point blank. The attack was concentrated on the side of her face. This kick was only to stun her for a very tiny moment. Kaizen then switched the foot that was touching the ground into a more uniform position. This switch in position of the foot touching the ground moved his body into a stance with a bent knee. Without warning he attempted to kick her face twice with the same foot.

Kaizen, after attacking, put both of his feet on the ground and faced the woman. Kaizen was still close to her, but about 2 feet away. Kaizen had both of his arms in a sort of boxing stance but with weak wrists. Kaizen wasn't going too easy on her, or at least.. that's what the crowd thought. This was going to be a very interesting battle. The woman, if Kaizen connected with her, will have a broken zygomatic bone.. but unlike the toter man, she wouldn't feel dizzy from it. She had a lot of endurance. If it weren't for the three kicks to the face then the bone would not have broken.

NoTe: The zygomatic bone is basically the cheek bone.

Kaizen had dodged with amazing speed.  Ikari, stunned for a second, thought to herself; was such speed even normal for a farmer?  Then again, what type of farmer wears a suit?  Still in her haze, Ikari expected a punch or a kick to her side.  She protected her ribs, seeing as she may be able to dodge an attack to the head and her legs could take an attack.  Then again, she was wrong about this guy before.  Was he actually a professional underground fighter?  Suddenly, sharp pain spread across Ikari.  Once. Twice. Three times she was hit with a speed that didn't seem natural to her.  Who was this man?  She could hardly follow his movements.

Ikari, dazed for a mere moment, tapped her cheek bone.  Sharp pain.  Lesson learned; shield the head more.  With that, shielding the torso would probably be a good idea.  Ikari looked at the man.  He didn't seem to be fazed at all, then again, he didn't hit her mechanical parts.  The man needed to be slowed down, if only temporarily.  Small sparks would seem to be in Ikari's right hand as she slammed her right hand towards Kaizen, protecting her torso with her left arm.

Kaizen felt his kicks connect with her face.. but it didn't do what he wanted. She basically shrugged off his attack. He definitely felt her cheekbone crack when his shoe connected with her face the third time, but it was easy to break the zygomatic bone. He's already broken dozens of others. The three kicks were supposed to stun her temporarily and force her to get to her knees. Obviously that plan didn't happen, she just covered her face for a moment then attacked Kaizen with sparks. Kaizen, for a moment, thought she was a devil fruit user. Sparks coming out of her hand? Did she have a power for that? Was it her clothes? Kaizen didn't know, but he knew that the electricity was only in her hand.. so he had to attack an area that didn't have electricity.

Kaizen, using the two feet of distance, moved his head to the left as her right arm narrowly zoomed past him. While the arm moved past his head Kaizen continued to move forward without any sign of slowing down or hesitation in his move. Without warning Kaizen attempted to jam his finger right in the shoulder region. If his finger connected with the shoulder it would dislocate it, this would make her arm useless in combat in Kaizen's standards. Kaizen did this while she was attacking only adding to the possibility of the technique connecting with her shoulder region (right in the humeral head and glenoid cavity). On top of attacking while the opponent attacked, she was blocking her torso with her only free hand, and her speed wasn't enough to keep up with him in the slightest.

After the attack kaizen ran past her and turned around back in his fighting position. Kaizen, whether dislocating her arm or not, then ran towards her and stopped putting his left leg up and attempting to kick her in the face again, this time on the left side, twice in a fast manner.

Ikari's missed the man once again.  This man was possibly far too fast for her to even hit.  Kaizen was quickly getting closer to her, his hand outstretched.  Trying to move quickly, Ikari move her left hand up to grab Kaizen's quickly moving arm.  It was too late however.  Kaizen had already  hit her right shoulder with a deep thunk!  Ikari smirked as Kaizen went past.  She understood what he tried to do and, if it was anyone but her, it would have.  Ikari looked up, having turned around when Kaizen tried to go through her shoulder.  However, this may have not been the best idea.  Once Ikari looked up, a sudden hit to her face connected to her cheek.  Pain.  Sharp and quick.  Ikari touched her cheek bone quickly.  Not broken.  Good, she didn't need another broken cheek bone.

Lifting her head, Ikari smirked as she looked at Kaizen.  Ikari moves her right arm and moves her fingers into a fist, staring at Kaizen while doing so.  Speaking for a moment, Ikari slowly walks towards her foe;
"Nice trick.  Probably would have worked if it had been anyone but myself.  Now, please stop moving so quickly so I can actually hit you."
Running the last part of the distance, Ikari would aim a punch towards Kaizen's chest.  With the aid of a rocket-pad in her elbow, the punch would be twice as fast as usual and slightly stronger due to the speed.

Inside the fighting arena the police woman continued to collect money from the people who had placed bets.  She was out of uniform but she was still an authority figure. Because of how loud things were she wouldn't manage to hear her den den mushi if someone were to call.  Be down there watching the fights it was easy to loose track of time.  But else was there to do?  She had been at this for roughly three years, five if you count her time in the streets before becoming a law keeper she figured it was the best way to move unnoticed.  Being involved with this sort of facility was very much illegal but she was sure she could get away with it.  After all the world runs on blood and money.  The governor had left her stationed here all this time, she had to make the best of it.

The two men who had met Ikari earlier had remained close to the area but were traveling slightly off road. Every so often they would get off their horses and work before moving on.

From where Leo was he could see the tax collectors coming each one was very large and armed not only with fire arms but whips as well. One stood guard over the cart as the other went in to collect the money.  Even though the money was ready and presented to him he wasn't satisfied.  Throwing the meager amount of money that had been placed in a bag outside for his partner to get he advanced forward. "What about my personal compensation hmm? Its not right we have to come out all the way here for so little. How about given me something to make the trip worth it, a memory for late at night during those lonely nights perhaps? Smiling he placed his hand on her thigh. Letting out a shrilling scream that carried out the bar.

Laughing his partner picked up the money through it in with the rest.  People began coming out their homes and businesses to see what all the fuss was about. Using the crowd to move Leo all also came over.  But he was there out of concern he was looking for something else. From the general store Alan, the officer and the shop owner come rushing out. In his hand he holds a baby den den mushi "Jenny haul your ass down to pub! We have a problem, they are here". But jenny den den mushi would continue to ring.

When kaizen hit her metallic arm he felt a small crack in his finger. He had probably broken the tip of his index finger after attempting to break metal. Pain surged through his arm, but he continued fighting. He ran forward and hit the woman in the face with his legs, twice, but saw that he didn't hear a crack. The last time it only took three kicks, he'll have to remember that number. Kaizen jumped back knowing that she wouldn't take long to hold her cheek while mid combat. She quickly walked towards him and told Kaizen that it would have worked on her, it meaning the attack, if it were anyone but her. Kaizen smiled, she was strong. She put her fist back after getting close and attempted to strike Kaizen, what was noticeable this time, however, was that she had a rocket in the end of her elbow. Now Kaizen knew. Ikari was a cyborg.

Kaizen quickly stepped to the side with the last bit of a moment he had to react. Her fist narrowly missed his face. kaizen could feel the potential impact of the attack when her fist narrowly moved past his cheekbone. Kaizen ran towards her, again, remembering that her right arm was the only thing that showed itself to be made of metal up to now, and attempted to jab his middle finger on the left shoulder of Ikari. Right after the attack Kaizen moved behind her and moved his leg around in a round motion trying to kick the cheek he had already hit two times, one more and he would break that bone as well.

The crows cheered for the battle. They hadn't seen a demonstration like this in a very long time. Kaizen looked more and more appealing to those that wanted someone dead for money. He was gaining potential clients. As for Ikari, she looked powerful after getting hit five times by kaizen and a finger to her joint and not even looking fazed in the slightest. It was obvious the battle had come to speed and agility versus strength and endurance. One hit from the strength can do much more damage then a few hits from a speed member. The men that were whistling at Ikari earlier were now to scared to comfront her. If she punched one of them they knew they'd get knocked out, or worse, with a single punch.

Bob and Bill waited outside. No commotion seemed to be going on in the town from their end. The tax collectors don't even know about this place, they get the small amount of money the villagers supposedly have. They have no idea of the underworld hidden underneath the city.. unless a snitch decided to tell them for money.

PostSubject: Re: South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten   South Blue: Chapter 1 Left and Forgotten Icon_minitimeSat Feb 08, 2014 10:15 pm

Damn it. Kaizen was starting to irritate Ikari. Why couldn't he just stay god-damn still? So far, Ikari hadn't hit the man once. Her patience was starting to wear thin. This time, her attack was closer. Maybe if she could somehow predict or control where he would go, she could perhaps hit him. Kaizen ran towards Ikari and she felt a sudden sharp pain in her left shoulder. Then numbness. Crap, this man had been smart enough to believe that the other shoulder wasn't naturally also metal. Ikari lost feeling in her left arm and it suddenly slumped down. The arm was much heavier than she remembered, but that's probably because of the metal forearm. Well, that's another place that need better protection against attack. A sharp pain spread across Ikari. A pain she had felt once before as her head suddenly twirled to face the ground. This man had broken her other cheek. She was near the point where her last resort was starting to seem like a good idea.

Ikari began to think quickly. What could she do to finally hit this man. All thoughts of prize money escaped Ikari's mind as the echo of the crowd was drowned out. Her last resort could work, but that could possibly level and burn the entire building, which wasn't that preferable. Ikari would probably be able to get out without too much damage, but the amount of innocent people in this were place was far too large to consider such an attack. Looking at her dislocated arm for a brief moment, Ikari grimaced. This was going to hurt, but she may well hit him this time. Ikari ran towards Kaizen, her left shoulder facing towards him as she ran, and once close enough, turn her torso sharply to face him. Biting her teeth together from the pain, Ikari would use her left arm as a sort of flail and punch with her right arm. The right arm, fully utilising the rocket in the elbow, would still be at an increased speed. If she couldn't hit him with this, she'd have no choice but to use her last resort. This was the best plan she could come up with and it was still probably not adequate enough to be fully effective.

Kaizen saw ikari swing her now useless arm at him. To kaizen this showed that she was near or at her last string. Kaizen remembered that in the entire battle ikari had not landed a blow on him once. Judging by her type, and her current situation being without a useful arm, it could have driven her to this brink of insanity. Kaizen smiled though, the idea wasn't so bad after all. Using her useless arm to make sure the other arm can hit. However, she underestimated kaizen.

Kaizen ducked as fast as he could, easily dodging the first attack. However the second fist came right at his chest. Kaizen cocked back his arm, using the universal sign for a punch, and swung forward. The best defense in this case was a good offense. He only hoped his fist would connect to her face before hers connected to his chest. However, out if nowhere a shot was heard and the man in the speakers spoke. Kaizen stopped attacking mid swing.

"Tax collectors are here today, it would be less suspicious if everyone went back home. We'll continue tomorrow" Kaizen made a small "Tch-" sound and started to walk out of the arena. The fun was over. He had to go pay the tax collectors a visit anyways. He heard they had some good money in the village.
