Body:Desais is a medium built human with muscles bulging slightly on his arms. Veins erupt around his body when he is working hard or in combat. He weighs a total of 170lbs and is 6' 2". He is of a light tan skin color with size 12 feet. Upon his arms are burn marks from an incident years ago.
Face: His jaw is a jagged, curved one with cheek bones popping out slightly. Desais's eyebrows are a medium size and slightly bushy. The mouth curves into a smile that almost seems to never disappear. A small nose lays upon his face with slightly pointed ears. The eyes are an extremely light blue color that seem to glow in the darkness and shine in the sunlight.
Hair: Desais's hair length is short and spiked upright with the bangs dangling down over face to about eye length. The hair is a dark brown color with very slight blond highlights. The eyebrows and mustache/beard (when grown) are a dark brown color as well.
Non visual information: Desais's voice is a slightly high pitch but can sound lower depending on what he's saying. He usually smells clean and fresh like the smell of evergreen soap. His feelings are mixed and at times random, one moment he can be happy then the next he can be angry. That's not saying he is bipolar, its saying that he is an emotional guy.
Extra features:There's a scar running through the right eyebrow down through the eye and ending right above the right cheek. Desais has a tattoo of a half angel, half demon on his back. The angel has a sky blue glow to it and a feathery white wing. The demon has an ominous dark red glow with a leathery bat wing.
Clothing: Desais wears a white undershirt with a thin, dark blue trench coat over top the white shirt. The trench coat has a design of a grim reaper on it that is laying before the rising sun. The image on the trench coat has a bright ominous look to it. He wears boxer briefs (many different colors of them throughout the days). He wears medium thick black slacks, and dark brown sandals. The second outfit is a white, wife beater shirt with a black skull on the front. His pants are made of a slight thick material and are a blood red color. Again, he is wearing his dark brown sandals. The third outfit includes no shirt, and includes blue jeans with holes all throughout the jeans. Also in this outfit he wears the dark brown sandals. Along with all the outfits Desais has a normal cutlass with its sheath attached to his back with the hilt pointed upwards towards his neck for easy unsheathing. The two flintlock pistols are strapped to his waist, one on the right side and one on the left side.
-Personality information-
Personality Overview: Desais is an optimist and uses any opportunity he can to accomplish his mission. Whether it means to take an enemy down while they are off guard or to rescue someone truly important to him (Mostly his Nakama are the important ones to him). He enjoys putting together ships and building new ones. Enjoys looking at sunrises and sunsets due to the fact that it reminds him of a precious memory. Desais is a very emotional person and won't hesitate to cry in front of others during a sad or an extremely happy moment.
Likes, Dislikes, Hopes and Fears: Desais dislikes snooty, show-offs, who think they are all that. He likes helping those in need out, fixing up ships as well as building them, watching the sunrise, and sailing the open blue. One day, Desais hopes to make his captain the pirate king, to make the most powerful ship in all of the grandline. Desais only fears having everyone he cares about killed around him while he is the only one to live.
-History information-**
Desais's was born on the Organ Islands to a mother named Kirie Mizuki. It was in the morning outside with the doctors all around, helping Kirie with her birthing process. The doctors kept telling her to push and push to get Desais out. As you could imagine, Kirie was a bit frustrated. She cursed at the doctors as they started to get on her nerves. When she thought she couldn't push no more, Desais came popping out. The time was around 6:36 AM and the sun had started rising. Everyone expected him to cry, as normal babies did, but instead the child just stared in awe at the wonderful colors the sun created upon the morning sky. The doctors thought something was wrong with him and were gonna do tests on the child. Then, Kirie screamed out to them to give her, her baby. The doctors looked at one another and shook there heads up and down, then proceeded to hand Desais over to his mother. This was her greatest moment in life, and it made her burst into tears. She had created life, something so amazing and yet so fragile.
A few years have passed since that moment, Desais is now seven and his mother is sick. They moved to a nice house five years ago in the town of Orange City. Desais worked hard to support his mother, going from paper routes to helping out at the nearby ship yard. Getting a few belli here and there, he bought chicken broth and medicine. Debt collectors came by every so often for the mortgage, but were sent away severely disappointed when nothing was given to them. This, of course, aggravated them. They warned that if they didn't get payment soon, the two of them wont be living so comfortably anymore. This worried the mother very much, she looked at her son then burst out into sad tears. She was afraid that she couldn't support her son anymore. She knew she would have to do something, but because of her illness she couldn't work. The only other thing she could think of was to give her son off to another family. She told her son that he needs to be with a family with money so he can live well, but he refused. Every time she told him this it angered him. Then one day, Kirie had welcomed over a family to take Desais away. Desais got extremely pissed and ran out of the house. He ran away to the ship yard and stared off at the ocean for hours. Then he finally decided to head back home.
Desais walked along, kicking stones every so often. Suddenly, he saw a bright warm light off in the distance, but it wasn't the sun. Desais rushed towards the light and saw his house. Outside it was a group of men walking away, laughing. Desais was about to run after them, when he realized that his mother was probably inside. Desais searched around the house for a way in. He couldn't find one that wasn't covered in flames. Instead he found a large rock and smashed in a window. Although the flames licked out at the oxygen outside, Desais jumped through. Luckily he wasn't burned from the flames at the window, but he began coughing at the smoke. Desais rushed to his mothers bedroom, and found her lying there. "MOM!" Desais cried out as he ran over to her. No word was spoken from her lips. She seemed lifeless as he tried to lift her. Failing at his attempt to lift up his mom, Desais frantically searched for another way out. There, in the living room was an ax. Desais picked it up and ran to his mother's room. He began tearing down the wall to try to get her outside. It started to work as a hole began forming in the wall. Oxygen rushed into the house and smoke raced out, thus causing intense heat to form. The flames licked at Desais's right arm and he screamed in pain. The sound suddenly awoken Kirie to a coughing fit. She looked at Desais and her eyes widened. "Desais, you need to get out of *cough cough* here!" she yelled at him. Desais heard her voice and for a moment stopped the chopping of them wall. Turning around, Desais looked at his mother with tears in his eyes. "Mom! Your alive!" Desais said as he rushed over to his mother. Then suddenly the roof caved in and debris fell down towards them. Kirie, with catlike reflexes, threw Desais out of them way of the falling debris as she was engulfed. Not thinking Desais lunged at the debris and tried to pull he out from under it. The flames devoured his left arm as he attempted to save his mother. The pain made him scream out loud, and think clearly. He realized his mother was dead and she wanted him to survive. Finding the ax again, Desais slammed it into the wall with the little might he had left. The hole he made was just big enough to get out of the burning house. As soon as he made it outside, he passed out from the pain in his singed arms.
"MOM!" screamed Desais as he awoke in a strange place with bandages all over his body. His arms still ached from the burns he sustained. Looking around the room, he saw what looked like equipment to build and repair ships. Desais got out of the bed and began to wander around the place. Finally, he came upon a room with a fireplace lit and someone in a chair reading the paper. "Who are you?" asked Desais curiously. The person in the chair didn't even turn to look at him. Thinking the person didn't hear him he walked in the room and asked the question again. "You should be in bed, you sustained severe injuries." said what sounded like a man. Desais recognized the voice, and walked closer to the person. When he finally saw the man for who he was, he realized he met him before. It was a fishman that Desais had walked by every time he headed back for home when leaving the ship yard. This was the man that trained the other men in the ship yard. The man that owned the ship yard. "Where's my mom?" asked Desais wonderingly. The man lowered the paper slightly when he heard the question. He then, folded the paper up neatly and laid it down. The fishman looked like a hammerhead shark, but much bigger boned. He dropped down to Desais's level and looked him in the eyes. "I'm sorry son, your mother didn't make it out of the fire." the fishman said. These words made Desais suddenly burst into tears of realization as he remembered what had happened. He dropped to his knees and wept for his dead mother. The fishman got out of his chair and put his hand on Desais's shoulder. "Now, can you go back to the bed and let yourself heal. Your badly burned." The fishman said. Desais couldn't, or actually, wouldn't get up from the shear sadness he felt from the loss. The fishman had to pick up Desais and put him into the bed. Where Desais cried all night long, as the memory kept on playing in his mind over and over again.
Eighteen years later, Desais is a grown man and is working the ship yards. Building his newest masterpiece, the golden dream, Desais wiped the sweat from his brow. "Desais! Come get some dinner!" screamed an older man from afar. "Coming!" replied Desais as he smiled at his completed ship and began heading towards where the voice came from. Desais opened the door to a table set with meats. "Im here Ragrind!" Desais exclaimed as he sat down and began eating. A hammerhead shark fishman came out from the other room and sat down at the table with Desais. "You should see my newest creation Ragrind, its a beauty." Desais said as he stuffed his mouth with the succulent morsel. "It can't be as bad as your last one!" bellowed Ragrind as he laughed. Desais wrinkled his brow as he heard him say that. "My creations aren't bad..." Desais scoured as he looked out at the ocean through the window. "One day, you'll see, I'll make the best ship around. Everyone will know my name." Desais smiled as the thought of him being famous came to mind. This made Ragrind put his food down and look towards Desais. His face furrowed with this thoughts as he began to open his mouth. "If you wish to live that dream, I suggest you leave these islands." Ragrind stated as he took a big chomp out of his meat. Desais turned and looked at him seriously, then he looked up, as if to look towards the heavens. "I guess that would have been what mother would have wanted as well." Desais said as the room grew silent. Suddenly, Desais got on top of the table and pointed forward. "I shall journey to the grand line and learn what I can about ship building! Then I will make you proud!" Desais exclaimed with a huge grin. Ragrind couldn't help but to burst out laughing at what Desais said. "If your gonna go sailing out there, you will be needing some protection." Ragrind stated. Ragrind got up and walked into another room beckoning Desais to come with. The fishman opened a chest and dug through it. "I've got some things from back in my traveling days." said Ragrind as he pulled out a back cloth that had something wrapped in it. Ragrind handed it to Desais and told him to go ahead and open it. Inside revealed two flintlock pistols and a cutlass. Desais's eyes lit up as he saw them. He quickly fastened the cutlass to his back and the two flintlock pistols to his waist. "These will help you out as you begin your journey. Although I'm not sure for how much longer, so you may need to find better equipment along the way." Ragrind stated. Desais leaped out and hugged Ragrind tightly. "You've been great all these years taking me under your wing. I will never forget you and I will come back to see you again." Desais said as he went outside to practice with his weapons.
The next day came and Desais had everything ready for his voyage. Ragrind was there waiting for him to board his small ship for his journey. "Here are a few more items that'll get you to the next island. Good luck on your journey and don't forget little old us in this here town." Ragrind said as he gave Desais a hug. "I won't Ragrind, and I promise you I'll follow my dreams and come home with the best ship around!" Desais smirked as he boarded his ship and set sail. Ragrind smiled as Desais's ship began floating on away from the island. Tears welled from Desais's eyes as he waved buy to his Nakama. Thus began Desais's journey on the open blue.
After getting to a set of Islands in the west blue, Desais met Iken, Ada, and Cat. They became friends through a battle with the island and the marines. The battle was brutal and no one made it out unscathed. The battle led to the ship, the Ragnell, where they encountered the marine captain named Razz. The battle was extremely brutal. There was no way out of the fight, but they were able to make it when Iken used his ability. Although they all lost their crewmate, Cat... There are many journeys ahead for the crew as they have promised many things to Cat in his death.
The crew was stuck on the Ragnell for three days trying not to die from starvation when a ship carrying a mysterious guy came aboard. Later another ship showed up asking they return one of their crewmembers to their ship as well as give over anything of value. Desais was in the bed resting from his wounds from the fight before as the rest of the crew began battling against the other pirate crew. The battle was another fierce one that resulted in the other pirates ship being destroyed. The captain of the other pirate crew was annihilated and the devil fruit he had eaten went into another fruit Iken's ship. Iken tossed Desais the fruit and Desais ate it, which allowed him to obtain the Bone Bone fruit abilities.
The crew landed upon the island Las Camps and began going their separate ways in search of foods and repair items for the ship. Desais went to a shop with the funds he obtained from the crew fund to buy wood and steel rolls for the ships. Instead he was greeted by two big foes who knocked him out and brought him to a prison to be sold into slavery. It was here that Desais met a new crew mate named Cole P. Dusk. A fight broke out amongst the prisoners and the captors that involved huge explosions and death. Desais made it out thanks to his captain, Iken, and his crew members.
It all seemed fine once they made it to the ship, but then a marine ship showed up. They attacked the Ragnell on site and it caused Desais to awaken his first gear to defend the crew. In the end the crew left the island with everyone in tact and one more member in the group, Dante. They set out on another voyage across the open blue!
