Derge is a rather slender man weighing around 130 lbs to maybe 140 lbs. Even though Derge spends a good chunk of his time outdoors his complexion remains an almost pasty white, making him look somewhat sickly. Derge's bone structure is still rather immature; however he has a good structure for growing solid lean muscle.
In the years Derge has been with the marines he has gained both muscle mass and height. The increases he's shown in not only bodily pursuits, but also devil fruit power has been extraordinarily fast paced for an average human, however just in line for a typical late bloomer Namikaze. Derge has grown in height from 5 foot and ten inches to six feet and two inches (6'2"). Along with his height the marine has also gained muscle mass and weight. While Derge has matured over the years, his overall oval shaped face remains the same. His other features however were a little more dynamic. Derge's eyes have become darker in color but still lighten to a bluish grey when he's ill or in a serious, stressful situation. The marine's eyes have widened slightly, making his eyes less slanted. He would willingly give his life for the right cause or to protect his loved ones. At the same time, Derge wouldn't hesitate to killed the same person that he would give his life for, if they go against justice.
Derge has a great need to become stronger, stronger than anyone else so he can push his version of justice one everyone. He believes that as long as the marines keep the people safe their power should be unlimited. Generally, Derge is harsh to those who break the rules or follow a different path from him. Derge himself is an opportunist and will use nearly any method he can to get ahead. That is unless, it harms a person he respects as an equal. He has no problem stepping on the little people or those he doesn't know, but if he respects someone, he wont allow them to be trampled by anyone.

However he does like hard liquors and would never drink something soft like ale. Derge loves clothes that are soft and feel good against the skin, even if they are expensive. In reality much of what Derge likes is pretty expensive. He likes innocents and hates those that would put them in danger. Derge believes in conventional means and living, he will not take a tainted woman.
-History information- Birth: Derge was born in the Steel Village on June 13th, on a Friday. It was a cloudy and stormy day on which the young babe was born. The lightning shined across the sky, it was the only light on that fateful day. It was if his parents were being warned by the gods of their young sons future. Despite the warning, Derge's father ignored the signs as he attempted to take the chieftains seat from his brother. Even from an early age he pushed his son, raised his to take the seat. From that day on for the next two years Derge was trained by his father, like all newborns Derge was taught to think that weapons were toys and dueling was playtime. Before he could walk or even talk he like the rest of the babes in his clan underwent strength training and vigorously fed certain vitamins and supplements. At the age of two his clan furthered his training by convincing him that the model sword and weapons were all for play. Day in and day out he would be given bigger weapon models until at the age of five.
Childhood: At five years old the children of Derge's clan were made to use full sized weapons and pared up with an adult caretaker for intense training. After being taken in by a caretaker the child isn't to have contact with their family until they turn 15 years old. The next 10 years of Derge's life was hell, he was trained to the point of death several times. Due to his care takers close relationship with Derge's father, Derge was push much harder than any man in his clan had been. It was only made worse when Derge's father left the village to join the marines. He had failed at a coup, leaving his young son and wife to fend for themselves. At the age of 10 Derge's village was invaded by the warring pirates and marines over some sword. With the village destroyed Derge and his caretaker joined in on the battle as training. About this this time Iken has also found the sword in which would lead to the total destruction of the village.
After Caretaker: Derge was released from or rather thrown out of the care of his caretaker at the age of 15. He wasn't awarded the choice to stay longer, there was a war going on. His village needed all of the able bodied warriors they could get. Derge was pretty much all along when he was released. His mother was gone and his father never bothered to come back. The only solace he could take was that he was released around the same time his childhood friend and cousin. Iken and his branch of the family welcomed Derge with open arms. However despite their welcome, their attention was focused on the child that was about to enter his 10 years. Derge was jealous and bitter, he had never had anything like that.
A Silent Tragedy: As the battle continued the gorilla tactics became more and more effective. Eventually the war was won by the rebels, only a handful of the warring pirates and marine were left. All of the remaining members of the two losing sides were being held captive as the Steel Villagers decided their fates. Now years later the 15 year old Derge was reduced to a mere clean up man. For years he had been pushed and trained to near death in order to become something great, but now he was left to find and deal with the remaining enemy forces. Derge came to the scene of a brutal battle, a corps was left hastily for the wilds to consume. However Derge was able to tell it was a man of the Steel, a caretaker. This meant an innocent child was left alone or being chased by the enemy. Derge quickly followed the tracks only to find his young cousin's final breaths being taken on the end of the sword of one of the remaining pirates. Using the chance, Derge killed the man by snapping his neck from behind.
The Scene to Execution: Derge knew that this kind of event would take away the spotlight of his accomplishment. He waited for night to come, before taking the small body and hiking up to a cavern high on the mountain in the middle of the island. The cavern was covered in ice all year round. With a pickax and shovel he dug a hole and buried the small body. Between the hike to and from the mountain cavern it took Derge two days. When he arrived back at the village, it had been totaled. It was burned to the ground, every man, woman, and child had been killed. Derge knew that the village had planned to execute the pirates they had caught and therefor blamed this disaster on them, pirates killed his cousin and destroyed his village. If it was the last thing Derge had to do, he'd make every pirate that roamed the earth pay for what happened that day.
Derge the Marine: It was about a week before Derge had finally finished burying the entity of his village, at least those in big enough pieces to bury. He also burned the bodies of the pirates that he despised so much, he didn't want their rancid flesh polluting the island he called home. He headed to the shore of his island where the docks had been. Derge found a marine ship docked there, it appeared they were about to leave. Without knowing anything about the previous situation he approached them. The marines didn't even bother to draw their guns on one single man, however they still confronted him. "I would like to join. My father is a marine and he can vogue for me. I wish to ride the world of pirates, the ones that killed my village and my clan." said Derge ignorant of what really happened. The marines harbored evil smiles as they welcomed him on board and sailed away.
