Appearance: Mariana has silky light blond hair that is almost white, also straight with slight waves at the ends, which goes down to her waist although she has it tied up in a ponytail most of the time because it annoys her to move around with it, her face is heart shaped and her skin is really pale. She has a pointed nose, like those greek gods are portrayed with; and big poppy emerald green eyes, her eyes pop so much because they sparkle all the time and stand out from her pale white skin. Her ears are normally sized, slightly pointed in the upper corner, and she has long black eyelashes and nicely shaped eyebrows. She has some bangs that cover her forehead almost totally, which is why she usually uses clips to prevent them to get to her eyes. She is 170 cm tall, weighting around 56kg. Her body is long and thin, like a model's although Mariana has big breasts and butt, so she wouldn't be able to be one. She used to have no marks when she was little, only a small mole under her left eye, but when she grew up and went to the Marines, after training a lot, she got some tattoos, which remind her of her goal and why she's doing what she is. One of her tattoos is a broken star, which reminds her that her family died and that she should avenge them. The other is a cherry blossom, which si to remind Saki her sister who she loved a lot.

For missions Mariana uses two different outfits, one for when it's cold and one for when it's hot. When it's cold Mariana wears black leather laced up boots that go up to her knees and have black laces. She also wears black leggings that hug her legs perfectly. She wears a tight long sleeved black shirt with a black star in the bottom left corner. She wears a black leather jacket that goes down to her knees and she usually has it open although when it's too cold she closes it. When it's summer she wears a short sleeved black shirt, black shorts that only go down to her mid thigh and are baggy. She also wears snickers converse styled, which are black with red shoelaces. She always, always, wears a white mask during missions, so she's not recognized or anything like that; the mask is completely white and has a red star in the left superior corner in her eye, it also has a black tear under her right eye. She always wears black mittens that prevent her hands to be damaged that much, with falls and things like that, although they wouldn't prevent her hand to be cut, by for example a katana.

When it's too cold for Mariana and she has free time, she wears long sleeved t-shirts that are oversized, they usually go down to her knee and are really baggy; the color of the t-shirts usually varies since she doesn't use the same shirt all the time, her most common shirts are usually either red, black, white or indigo although sometimes she wears t-shirts that are of other colors. She also wears black skinny jeans that hug her legs perfectly and even so let her do anything she wants, kicking perfectly and stuff like that, just in case something bad happens. She wears white snow boots and a white scarf around her neck to keep her warm. She also wears a cotton sweater to keep her warm if the weather is TOO cold for her. In summer Mariana wears a short sleeved cotton shirt which also differs colors, she DOESN'T use the same shirt every time there's hot weather. She wears shorts that go down to her mid thigh, the color of the shorts also differ, usually they're either black or white. She wears either sandals or converse styled snickers which usually are either black or white, with different colored shoelaces. She wears star shaped earrings, which are made out of silver and also have a small diamond in the middle of each star; a silver chain as a necklace that has a star totem; which also has a small diamond in the middle of the star; a black fedora and rimmed sunglasses which fit her face's shape perfectly.

History: Mariana grew up in a not so normal family, not meaning that she had any problems or that her parents weren't kind or something like that. No, Mariana just had to move around a lot. Her parents, Takeshi Star and Naomi Star, were martial arts masters, and they went around teaching in dojos, but the business wasn't that good and that was the reason why they had to travel that much. Mariana didn't mind traveling so much because she liked meeting new people and places, although it did make her sad to leave her friends behind, as time passed by it would be more difficult for Mariana to make friends, even if the ones in the dojo were nice to her, due to being the owner's daughter. Mariana had a sister, Saki Star, unlike Mariana Saki liked to do everything but didn't put much effort in what she liked, Mariana trained hard to get better in Muay Thai and other martial arts, becoming even better than her own father, and Saki trained from time to time and was almost as good as Mariana. This made Mariana really mad and she didn't like Saki that much, due to jealousy.

Mariana continued training and when she turned 14 they finally settled down in one place. Mariana was so happy about it and tried to make friends, but since she was now shy and kind of antisocial it was hard for her to do so, and ended up with having no friends. She worked hard to become stronger, much stronger than Saki and was able to win against everyone in the dojo, the same day she told Saki to fight her, and Saki accepted reluctantly. Unfortunately for Mariana Saki won, due to being tired from all the other fights she had had earlier that day, not because Mariana was weaker, no. Mariana was extremely mad about this and left to have some air. She stayed looking at this lake far from the house, actually in the other side of the Island, and before she knew it it was night.

During that time some pirates(at least that's what Mariana thinks) attacked the family and murdered them. Mariana, not knowing this, returned some time later and found her house empty, on fire. She thought that maybe her parents were alive but she didn't know where they were so she ran away. She went to the deck, trying to find someone and found a pirate ship sailing. She knew they were the ones who murdered her family, and from there she has had a horrible hate towards Pirates. She was full of hatred and pain, desperation, she was alone in the world, she wanted to be strong, and avenge her family. She didn't know who murdered them, but she knew (or thought) they were pirates, so she would have to murder each pirate she crossed paths with. That was the only way she could avenge her family, the only people she had in the world, not anymore though.

Mariana knew she wouldn't be able to defeat Pirates just the way she was at the moment, so she decided to join the Marines, the worst enemies of the Pirates. Due to her mastery in the martial arts and her evident hatred towards Pirates, she was accepted fast. The training wasn't that hard at first, because her father had covered the basics already at the dojo. But eventually, when it came to learn soru, Mariana had to learn a lot and also train, she had to get her speed up and also resistance, but she got better as the time passed. She was the ace of the squad she was in, she didn't like to team up with other people and was usually going solo all the time, something that wasn't really liked by the higher ranks.

She had this kind of rivalry with Echo Spades, the other girl in the squad, she was also really good at almost everything and Mariana had to work extra hard without anyone knowing so she'd stay in the top. Mariana worked hard for where she was, she was going to avenge her family. She soon reached the lieutenant rank, even before Echo who was already rather young to get that rank. She eventually got the captain rank, when she turned 15, and she was so happy about it. But she didn't know what kind of crew to make. She worked in different crew and got experience. Sure, she knew that she didn't want the typical marine crew, she wanted something more.. more organized and something stronger. So she decided to make a small assassination squad. She was strong and she would make her recruits strong. She just needed to find the best people for it. She thought that the perfect theme would be S.A.S T.o.C. because she was nicknamed 'Bloody Ace' after this mission that ended up with her murdering all the marines there were in the radius. So there would be 4 people besides her, the joker, the king, the jack and the queen. She talked with the higher ranks and she got approved. She wanted to start with her crew as soon as possible. So she bought a ship with the money she had been given and looks through Marine files to look for the perfect people to join her assassination squad.

While looking for marines that would be fitting for her squad she also got to look for some pirates who would possibly be their targets once the crew was ready. She was shocked when she found out that her beloved sister, Saki Star, was now a pirate and not only that but she was also a CAPTAIN of a pirate crew. She had a normal sized bounty. She hated her, she couldn't help it. Mariana Star hated her once beloved sister. She betrayed her and not only her but also her family. And Mariana would never forgive Saki for that. She wanted her dead, as soon as possible. This was war, and Mariana was going to win. Pirates vs Marines. Star vs Star.

Personality: Mariana is an idealist, she doesn't matter what she has to do in order to accomplish her goals. She is usually kind and calm but when someone gets on her nerves, mostly by talking about pirates and things that remind her about her parents or sister, she gets bitchy and probably might try to kill that person. She's cold blooded in the missions and doesn't mind killing as long as it's pirates, afterall those are the ones who killed her family. She likes reading but almost never has the time to do it, although it's still her favorite hobby, and she also likes singing but doesn't really do it in front of someone, even if she has a wonderful voice, soft, calm and really high(not the annoying high voice type but a soft high voice). She tries to get along with the people she works with although she'll never be the first one to stablish a close relationship as she thinks that that will only prevent her from accomplishing her dreams and goals. She talks in rhymes and uses weird words while talking with friends or when she's not in missions, she also likes to quote Shakespeare. She usually formal with people, she won't swear unless extremely mad/annoyed/ or in order to make someone scared. Although there's the time when people defend pirates and their vile ways saying stuff like "not all pirates are bad, some are nice" and things like that, which annoy her greatly. She's nice to children unless it's in the way of her missions or goals. Now, most of the time she won't kill children but she sometimes has. Mariana is someone who a small time for calming herself, relaxing time; so she tries to get some time for herself from time to time.

Ever since she was a child, Mariana has loved reading, it was something that would relax her, the books would take her to other worlds where anything could happen, she preferred the ones with suspense and adventures, a complex plot, instead of the cheesy romantic novels, although there were some that she actually liked. Unlike her sister, Mariana would read everywhere, it didn't matter if it was in the living room, with everyone talking and being loud; in the dojo, in a corner where she wouldn't be hit; with the people practicing different martial arts, which she also practiced. Anywhere, you would find Mariana reading, and it was like nothing affected her, she was so concentrated in her reading that nothing would annoy her. Being born in a family that ran dojos, Mariana has practiced Martial arts ever since she could walk, actually she could throw fist before but wasn't that good at it. Her favorite discipline was muay thai. She would practice everyday to the point she got better than her own father. Even this would not stop her though, she still practiced and practiced. She was the only one who defeated Saki when she got to her best potential in muay thai. She loves Muay Thai with her life and tries to practice and use muay thai movements while attacking and things like that. Also training in the morning makes her be more energized and ready to work hard on her missions.

Mariana has a phobia, only one, she's terrified of bugs, she can't stand to see them, she starts screaming and runs away. When she was little she fell to a hole(not too deep) which was full of any kind of bugs, even if it wasn't too deep Mariana was too small to climb up. Being trapped there she panicked and felt the bugs moving on her skin and that experience marked her for life, she can't stand bugs at all. She doesn't like Pirates.. actually, she hates them. Since her family was murdered by pirates, she hates them with all their might and wants them dead. for good. All of them. Specially her traitor of a sister. Saki Star. Captain of the Milky Way Pirates.

Special Abilities:

• Season Sword Style: Mariana Star developed a sword style based on the seasons, the warm seasons being the attacking styles mostly and the cold seasons being the defensive styles. She uses the Akai Ryuu and the Aoi Ryuu for these styles, according to their weight and what's easier for her. Sometimes she uses both but that's unusual.

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):

1. Soru: allows the users to move at extremely high speeds in order to avoid attacks, as well as to attack at higher speeds and with greater power.
   
2. Rankyaku: is a powerful projectile technique, in which the users start by kicking at very high speeds and strength, sending out a sharp compressed air blade that can slice objects and greatly damage a human body.
   
3. Aki Arashi (Autumn Storm): Using the Akai Ryuu Mariana uses soru to move from one place to another, moving the katana's blade so it's horizontal and swinging it so it sends a big cutting wave of air towards the oponent, then does the same thing in Soru speed creating a square, one giant wave of cutting air coming from each direction, south, north, east and west.
   
4. Fuyu Arashi(Winter Storm): Using a soru like speed, Marianan swings the Aoi Ryuu katana in different directions sending lots of mini cutting air waves towards the oponent, like a mini storm coming in his direction. The waves are 10 centimeters long and really cutting.
   
5. Natsu Ame (Summer Rain): Mariana uses soru to break into his opponent and thrust the tip of the Akai Ryuu on his middle section, still using soru like speed Mariana moves it upwards and downwards slightly creating small air waves that are not noticed at that moment. She takes out her sword quickly and the air waves cut the opponent in the skin in vertical cuts seeming like rain was painted in his torso with blood.
