He followed the man into the large, looking around, it looked like the room's walls had taken some damage over the years. He watched as the man closed the door behind him, was he planning on fighting to the death? Nah. Listening to the man's words, he nodded. Once Cliffer gave the signal to start, Francis charged towards him. Wielding his long sword as if it were nothing! Holding the long sword over his head, he charged at Cliffer and once close enough swung it down as fast as he could and with as much power he could use.

Melting point
He said," Lava Aura." As the man took off he would felt the temperature in the room change to medium to a blazing volcano . As he prepare  to swing his weapon to strike 1st Mate Cliffer it being to melt as it reach closer to the man face or body at great speed too. Cliffer then said," Didn't your mom say stay out the kitchen or you get burn?"
He side step as he said, " Dai Funka." He transforms his fists into pure lava before throwing it forward, like an over-sized rocket. The explosion causes volcanic rock to hit the ground, in a method similar to meteors.  He attempt to slam his fist against the man chest plate armor causing it to over heat due to the attack, and Lava Aura.

He then said," If you wish to beat me, You must used you Devil Fruit powers or your hope in defeating me is slim boy. Even you dare get close to me you would burn that includes all your toys too."

The fist collided with the man's chest causing the man to stumble backwards, he felt the heat of the room began to rise and felt his chest plate began to melt. He panted heavily as his face grew a coat of sweat. Licking some of the sweat which dripped onto his lips, he smirked. It seemed this man had some experience using his so called "Devil Fruit" powers. Francis began to think of a plan, something to catch the man off guard. Suddenly his legs were coated in smoke and he was shot towards the man at high speed.

"WHAT THE HEEEEEEEEEELL!?"

I just said
1st Mate Cliffer had to react soon of he would be tackle by the man he could just allow the man to get near his Lava Aura ,and be burn to a crist or he can do better ,and over power him.
As the man shoot forward he was caught off guard surely the man would slam into him but Cliffer said," Dai Funka!" As both his hands turn into a bursting lava fist he then attempt to grab the man who was coming near him at fast speed. If contact was made the target chest plate would burn way more faster as Cliffer Slid into the wall as he manage to gain control he hit the wall with a thud he then attempt to slam the man at the floor Cliffer bad was bruise too but not to much those.


Captain Gold was in his room sleeping due to his battle he had with  Verre he was most unhappy ,and tired. The Ship had hit shore again as the 2 pirate went off to get the man who repair the ship as the other man battle below the ship or train.

The man's palms collided with Francis's chest plate, Francis felt it beginning to melt way faster than before and the room's temperature was rising quickly. He saw as the man slid onto the wall. Francis panted and his body was covered in sweat, his grip on his blade was starting to get looser due to the sweat on his palms. This man was no joke. Was he planning on killing Francis? Nah. He wasn't the type to kill off comrades. Francis clutched the blade's handle and took a stance, awaiting the man's next move. He was lucky that he was wearing a chest plate, cause who would've known what would've happen if he was hit head on with a fist of lava. That'd wouldn't be a pretty sight at all.

"Round 2?"

He grin then said," You need to uses your power as a attack reach down ,and focus or die here!"
Did Cliffer really mean that he was going to kill him or was he just playing you know pulling his fellow crew leg. Cliffer said," Let me show you a true attack!"

He grin as he thrust one single hand forward which turn into a wave of magma, shaped like a dog's head. The Dog roar as it head directly into the direction of Francis using the temperature in the room to it liking. The Floors was probably sweaty ,and Francis armor was ,and heat was probably tire ding him out what would happen?

Cliffer Yell ," Aurai!!" He thought in the back of his mind he need new attack or any future battles he would lose he had to have complete control over the devil fruit or he be no help to Captain Gold.

"Hm...?"

Francis thought to himself as the dog shapped magma flew towards him, stepping to the side to dodge the attack, he simply began to rub his chin.

"Oh! Now I see! That magma was the shape of a dog!" he said out loud before laughing.

"D-do it again!" he said towards Cliffer.

It was clear that he had enjoyed it and found it amusing. Francis tried his best to ignore the heat building up on his melting armor.
