Appearance: Alex is a rather tall young man. He stands somewhere around six feet tall and weighs around 200 lbs. He is also quite attractive despite his pale skin, due to his unscarred, unblemished face and muscular physique. His most notable feature is his bright red hair, which hangs loosely over his forehead, and his equally red irises. He doesn't take care of his hair, so it spikes slightly in places. Alex also has a large X-shaped scar on his back.
Alex, out of uniform, dresses fairly casually in scarlet polos and white shorts with straw sandals. He also has a habit of wearing a Marine cap backwards. While in uniform, Alex dresses in a red button up shirt, a white tie, a white vest, and standard (white) Marine pants and shoes. Alex usually will wear his Marine jacket over his shoulders, allowing it to loosely hand down. Upon entering combat, if and only if Alex considers his opponent a serious threat, he will put on the jacket.

History: Alex was raised in Loguetown, East Blue, and lived a fairly normal childhood. His parents were ordinary shopkeepers, and avid Navy supporters. They despised the town they lived in, but never made enough money to move. Alex's parents always made him stay away form the thieves and pirates around the area, sheltering him from the darkness. Alex grew up believing all pirates were evil and he too began to hate the town.
At age ten, Alex watched helplessly as his mother succumbed to a terrible disease. She didn't live to see Alex's eleventh birthday. It only got worse from there. Alex's father fell to alcohol for comfort. He was nearly never in his son's life. Alex, however, only strengthened from this. Instead of straying from his parents' teachings, he followed them more strictly. He avoided all types of criminals. He ran their shop and slowly grew it into a successful venture. And, most importantly, Alex bravely, openly supported the Navy in a town full of criminals. Moreover, he began to train to enlist. At age 17, Alex left Loguetown to join the Navy with one goal in mind: to one day return to his hometown and transform it into the clean paradise he knew it could be.
Throughout his tenure as a Seaman, Alex was lucky enough to have been under the brightest, bravest and most powerful captains in the Navy. They trained him, taught him, and most importantly cared for him. Under one such captain, he was taught the basics of Muay Thai and became an experience Martial Artist. Due to this support, and his own natural talent, Alex rose quickly through the ranks of the Navy. By age 18, he was a Lieutenant. And eventually, by 21, a Captain. Because of his young age, Alex was given the nickname "Junior."
One day during Alex's time as a Lieutenant, he encountered the Blazing Sword Pirate crew. Seeing their lack of ability, Alex requested to engage against the pirates alone. His Captain agreed. Alex single handedly defeated their captain, looted their ship and took the Devil Fruit they had gotten on their journey. Unluckily, the rest of the crew escaped. However, Alex did manage to capture Gabriel, their captain, and escorted him to Impel Down. Upon realizing the power he could gain from eating the devil fruit, Alex decided to ingest it. Afterwards, he discovered he had become a Gum Gum Man.
Later on, Alex made it his quest to hunt down the Argonauts, an elite division of the Anubis Pirates. Upon finding them, he defeated their leader, Jason and his right hand man, Herakles. The two (and the rest of the crew) were brought to Impel Down where they have remained since. After that amazing capture, Alex was given the rank Captain, right on his twenty-first birthday, and his own crew and ship. Now, Alex is waiting for more Marines to join his crew in order to begin a journey to retake Loguetown from the rogues who inhabit it.
Personality: Alex is an outgoing young man. This has made him very popular among not only the civilians, but the higher ranking Marines as well. He doesn't care for his nickname "Junior," because he doesn't like to be judged by his age. He can be a flirt at times, but is a successful one. Due to his appearance and charming personality, he's quite popular among straight women. Alex is open about himself, and doesn't mind spilling his secrets to a stranger.
Alex is fiercely defensive of the Navy, his crew and his alcoholic father. He will rebuke any insult made directed at them and, possibly, begin a fight with the person who made the statements. Alex, however, does not care when others make fun of him. Alex also is a fierce fighter. He believes that surrender leads to a loss of willpower and strength, so he has made it his goal to never surrender no matter who he is facing. He also will go out of his way to protect his crew from serious harm.
Alex loves the Navy, women, and the beach. He won't admit it, but he enjoys the thrill he gets from fighting. His favorite food is a nice, juicy barbecue sandwich. Alex hates pirates and criminals in general. He doesn't like spinach, spiders, and those who believe they are better than others.

Devil Fruit: Gomu Gomu no Mi (Gum Gum Fruit)
Type: Paramecia
Effect: It makes the user a "rubber man." This allows the user's body to stretch like rubber. The user is thus nearly immune to physical attacks, however their one greatest weakness are bladed weapons.
Special Abilities: Uncanny ability to keep fighting no matter how beaten he is.
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): Muay Thai:
1. Sok Ti- an elbow to the gut
2. Sok Sab- chopping down with his elbow into the opponent's shoulder
3. Sok Klab- spins around to dodge attack and then elbows oppenent
4. Kao Tone- knee to stomach
5. Kao Loi- using the force of a jump to knee the opponent
6. Tae Tad- roundhouse kick
7. Tae Kod- downwards kick
Rubber Fist (special technique that merges Muay Thai and Alex's Gum Gum abilites):
1. Rabakobushi- Using the force of springing his fist forward, Alex punches his target.
2. Rabahishi *insert Muay Thai elbow move here*- Any "Sok" using the force from springing arm forward
3. Rabashi *insert Muay Thai leg/knee move here*- Any "Kao" or "Tae" move using the forcing from springing the leg forward.
4. Rabarashi- A flurry of Rabakobushis
5. Rabayari- Springing arm foward, Alex plunges tips of fingers into opponent
6. Burst Mode- This technique involves Alex speeding up the blood flow in all or selected body parts, in order to provide them with more oxygen and nutrients thus making him much faster and stronger. The technique uses even more oxygen and energy, using up more food and causing him to pant heavily. The increase in his metabolism causes him to be hungrier than usual or even have a paralysis type effect after prolonged use of it.
7. Explosive Burst Mode- Alex acquired this technique through years of intensive training. It's a step up from Burst Mode and involves Alex speeding up his heart rate to such a level that his Burst Mode abilities triple in strength. Additionally, his temperature rises so much that he can burn others (1st or 2nd degree burns depending on how long he touches them). However, this all has major drawbacks. Each time Alex uses the technique he shortens his life span. Also, he undergoes nearly 24 hours of intense pain as his body tries to readjust to normality. Additionally, while in this mode, his muscles tighten and rip, and he is in extreme pain. The only reason he can move is through his extraordinary willpower. The benefits are, as mentioned, Alex's Burst Mode abilities triple in strength and he becomes capable of moving at speeds unheard of and gains strength nearly insurmountable; he also can burn people by touching them.

Weapons/Items: Tenshiburedo and Akumaburedo (as trophies...near never used)
Character Flaws: Alex can be overly protective of the people he loves. This can cause him to be hurt protecting them. He also has a habit of training himself to exhaustion, which, if he's force into battle right after training, can cause him to be considerably slower and weaker. He is quick to engage in a battle. Alex also can be rash at times and make decisions that could potentially turn out to have negative effects.
Goals: To become the Fleet Admiral and to clean up Loguetown.
