| Area: A remote, arid island somewhere in the new world.
A vastness of emptiness. Nothing but dry, unfertilized land stretching for miles on all directions. It's kinda like a natural stadium for fights of colossal proportion, as that landscape is surrounded by an almost circular section of rugged, granite mountains that make the island look like a natural fortress. A perfect place for a fight where the environment's elements cannot be used from anyone to their advantage over a battle. Unless if you was a Suna Suna no Mi user or something like that, that is. And in this place, over the horizon, a figure is seen crossing the lands. The person's coat is blowing to the left, from the harsh, dried-out winds that blow over the area. A large sword is resting over his shoulder. "This is the place I told you about." he says, apparently, he is speaking to someone, someone not seen from there, but that someone being on the man's path.

| In a distance, A caped man with bright blonde hair walked with his arm resting on his sword. His sandals clapping against his feet with each step taken. His cape blowing in the warm wind. He let his other hand rest in his pocket and had a cloak over his head that hid his face from a far. He looked up at the man who was speaking and grinned. He knew why he was here. He had entered a contest to see who was the best swordsman in the world. Though he had only joined to kill the time. Leon clenched his blades handle.
"..............So you actually made it.."

| Suigo stops walking, and moves his hand onto his face. He removes the small shades from his face, and puts them in a pocket, before he takes a deep breath and a sigh. "Couldn't skip such an opportunity. I rarely get the chance to fight a swordsman of my caliber." He says, obviously acknowledging the caped man as a formidable fighter. And Suigo rarely has reasons to consider someone as a powerful one. His hand reaches for the gourd that he carries. He puts his hand on it, and taps it. "So, would you like us to start straight up, or you'd prefer to honor this battle of swords with a "ceremonial" share of some of the sake here. Trust me .. it's some really good medicine." He calmly says, as if he speaks to an old friend he hasn't seen in years. | |

| "The feelings mutual..I'm glad to get some one who can keep up..Lets make this fight one to remember shall we..?"
He drew his blade so quickly unsheathed his blade and spun his sword. Spinning around created a small whirlwind. He than stopped and clenched the handle of his sword. Causing the whirlwind to stop instantly. He pointed his sword at his opponent and cracked his neck, loosing up. He than moved his back around cracking his back.
"...I'm excited...don't disappoint me...I know you'd say the same thing about me..Lets make this even more interesting...No Air slashes...no Devil fruit powers..deal?"

| Suigo smirks, and takes a large gulp from his gourd, before he throws it away, alongside his cape. He moves his sword in front of him, horizontally, and slowly pulls it out of the sheath. "Straight to the point, I like that .. I accept your rulings, I like fights without fancy tricks anyway." Having pulled his large sword out, he also throws away the sheath, and moves the sword in front, and in a diagonal position, still with a smirk on. "Same can be said for you .. don't disappoint me, swordsman!" Saying that, the man takes a step forward, the battle begins! | |

| "...Good...well in saying that...I'll say one last thing..Don't blink.."
In a flash Leon was gone. A huge boom of sound exploded from where he was standing. It was clear Leon had just broken the sound barrier in speed. He charged in a straight line towards his opponent. He then attempted to slash straight through Suigo. An easily blockable attack, but from Leon's speed it would be a pain through out the fight.

| An ordinary swordsman would probably be beaten just there, with the very first exchange of "blades", as Leon's speed far exceeded anything ordinary. But then again, neither Leon, nor Suigo was ordinary. The long, powerful katana is swiftly swung right in the way, and a formidable class of swords follows up, as Suigo's exceptional eyesight allowed him to follow Leon's movements, at the very least to the point where he could parry up this simple, initial move. Suigo smirks at his opponent, the shockwave formed by the class was intense, but neither man seemed to go out of balance. "Nice speed." The man calmly comments, but with a dose of satisfaction, he could tell that Leon would probably be one of the createst challengers he'd ever get. It's been since Satoshi that he got to fight someone on the level that Suigo considers "master swordsman". Moving his right leg forward, Suigo then presses forward, with formidable might, and attempts to knock away Leon, either to outright push away the blade and cut him, or merely make him lose his balance. | |

| It BeginsJust as the shockwave was created. Leon reappeared, pressing hard against Suigo's Blade with his own. Leon knew he wasn't up against just any swords man. Which is why he had done such a lethal attack so soon into the fight. Leon then began to use his sheer brute strength to press down on Suigo. In attempt to break his balance. Not many could match Leon in physical raw strength. Leon wanted to see if Suigo was as skilled as they say."..In a sword fight..the physically strong don't always prevail..Show me your skill.." Leon applied much force on Suigo in hoping he'd kneel over and become completely over powered by him. Unless he knew how to reverse such a direct attack. Leon would be able to slice through him with ease. | |

| "Interesting, similar plans .. tho, your physical strength is above mine.." Suigo comments, seemingly being at a disadvantage. Seemingly, because apparently, this was only just starting. Instead of attempting to counter Leon's push by attempting to apply more strength, or trying to move backwards, Suigo instead moves to the side and below, letting Leon's blade slide onto his own, horizontaly positioned blade, but at the same time, going not just for evading a potential slash, but also, due to that movement, Suigo was aiming to make Leon leave himself open. And Suigo's blade now slides, quickly, in addition to his body moving to that direction, creating an opening between the two swords. If something wasn't done to revert this, Suigo could potentially get a completely free attack, as Leon's sword would end up sliding next to where Suigo would be by that time. But that was the concept, and Suigo knew that such a skilled one should be able to figure out a way to counter the "counter". Which was why, in addition to moving to the right side, and below, he was also beginning to rotate his body, in order to be able to block a potential move, in a way, forming a "either cut him, or go back to where we are right now" condition. Seemed like a good idea, to scout Leon's skillset and reaction time/style. | |

| Leon was prepared to evade such an easy counter. On account he was testing his opponents skill. He pivoted his left foot off the ground and kicked in his into the air off the ground. He than did a complete aerial shift of position while in mid air. When he landed he would be facing Suigo's back, this left many different chances. A quick slash to the spine would defiantly win the fight. But whats the fun in that? Leon than took his stance and kicked forward in attempt to stab his sword straight through Sugio's right abdominal. This would be only a flesh wound, but would give Leon the advantage in a sword fight gravely if it succeeded. Leon's eyes narrowed as he was prepared to block any quick retaliating slashes from either side. He was in a very free position, any attempt of a counter while in this situation wouldn't fair badly on both parts. But a block would be safe.. | |

| What Leon didn't seemed to account for, was that Suigo could as well use his own great speed, in order to escape much like he himself did moments ago. With a burst of energy, Suigo vanished just before the blade was an inch away from actually making contact. Suigo makes a full circle around Leon, and his image becomes visible again, as he comes to a half, in front of Leon, but about 3 meters away from him. Suigo smirks. "I didn't want you to have to suffer from striking someone from behind." He calmly says, and sheathes his sword. Is that part of an attack? | |

| "Good Lad..This fight shall be a short one than..Prepare your self.."
Leon than stood his ground and began to rapidly slash towards Suigo. It was a direct attack. This was meant to break down his defense, while at the same time cause small amounts of damage to Suigo. The slashes were diagonally coming from the right, the left, up, down. They were every where.

| "Interesting.." Suigo says, and bending forward, he lashes himself into the rain of blades. Using his high speed and flexibility, Suigo begins to weave himself around the many slashes coming from virtually all directions. As a shot grazes his cheek, drawing some blood, he slightly smirks, and when a few more of the strikes hit more cleanly only his body, it would probably look odd that it looks as if the blade, barely making contact due to the agility of Suigo, still somehow don't even deal that little damage that was expected to happen. As if Suigo's skin was so hard, glancing blows wouldn't damage him. Or was it something else that made Suigo able to avoid glazing blows? Suigo, as he did managed to reached close enough, attempts a straight up trusting swing, attempting to stab the man right in his heart.
(OOC: There's a reason why Suigo doesn't get damaged from blows that graze him or are just barely glancing onto him, it's not a DF or anything else, you can go to his page to read about it o.o"))
