Serious; The Purple Cat Pirates, Chapter 1; The chase of Victor (Open to the Purple Cat Pirates)

"What the hell?!" Shadow yells, and retracts his swords back to their sheaths, and instead, falls down, landing on his feet, and looks up at the others. He looks serious now, no more yelling and goofing around. "You're the worst type of person." He calmly says, before he grabs his swords again. "Oi, Afro-boy, let's settle this later, for now I'm kicking this man's ass."

"Heh, I see" Jimi smirked as he was lowered to Shadow's height. "I'm with you on that one, but you better not escape afterwards!" Jimi shouted as turned his gaze up towards Roze, who was still holding him by his hand. "It's over for you birdman! AFRO-GOTCHA!" Jimi announced with a frown. Suddenly, Jimi's Afro began expanding violently, its volume increasing in a ridiculous rate as it becomes more and more tangled. The expanding Afro threatened to encase Roze and Lance in it, trapping them in a supernaturally thick trap. If this move would succeed, Shadow will have a clear shot at both Lance and Roze.

"You bet I won't leave, just make sure to not run away afterwards!" Shadow says with a smirk on his face, and then watches as Jimi seems to be generating a bizarre, and unusually large amount of hair. So, he really was a Devil Fruit user huh? That was something. Shadow prepares to leap, but gives the man just enough time to execute his own part of their makeswift "combo".

[OOC: Sorry it took me that long to post. As I had said I want the two of you to lose for the sake of the plot]

"You won't catch us, fool!" Lance says with an serious look on his face. Then, as the afro expands and is about to catch Roze and himself, Roze starts flying even higher than before in an attempt to escape from that weird guy's afro. As he reaches a high point at the sky, the man moves his two katanas downwards, pointing towards the ground and with an evil look on his face, he starts stabbing the air violently. Small air cuts, much like droplets of rain come out of his katana and move downwards in an attempt to cut down both Shadow and Jimi. "Eagle Rain!" Lance says as he performs his technique.

Meanwhile, at the place where the Fireworks Festival was about to start, everybody from the island except the three fighters and the missing Niles are gathered. The mayor is standing right next to the great firework of the festival and he is smiling as he is ready to shoot it and make the festival look spectacular!

"This looks like a bothersome move..!" Shadow comments, and, he begins to run around, in a fast zing-sag pace, running away from the incoming barrage of air slashes. Once the move was over, the second it was, Shadow twists his upper body towards the enemy's direction and fires off a slashing attack, however at the same time, his face twitches, as he seems to be bothered. *This won't work, he's a long-range fighter, and right now, the only way to attack him, long-range attacks, are really a poor choice, he can escape anywhere in the air.* he thinks to himself. This was really so troublesome, all he wanted was to catch this "Catman", which by the way looked nothing like the wanted poster, and get some cash to get a new boat and leave this annoying, flashy place.

"Eagle Wrath!" were the words of Lance, by the time he noticed that Shadow not only dodged his "rain" of air bullets, but also he found the chance to perform a counter attack by swinging his sword swiftly to attack Lance with an air slash. With a calm look on his face, contradicting the name of his technique which was centered around the word "wrath", Lance swung his two swords, launching two powerful air blade attacks towards Shadow's incoming attack. The two air slashes collided with the swordsman's slashing attack and nullified each other, just like Lance expected. "You are going to have a hard time against me if you go with these attacks, don't you think? I am Cricket Lance, you don't stand a chance!" he continued speaking as he moved his swords swiftly, once again, launching two more air blades towards Shadow in an attempt to cut him down.

(OOC: Actually aniki, is it worth to continue this? I mean, are the other 2 in the thread active/interested in playin here more? :/)
