Serious: Purple Heart Pirates Re-Assemble; A Dire Situation Unfolds(Open)

((OOC: Looking for volunteers to have their character captured by slavers, it'd be helpful))

It had been one month since he had seen his friends, his nakama. He had missed them. However today he would be reunited with them, at least that's what the giant fishman hoped. He hoped that his nakama would return to him. To him as their new captain. If they didn't Bruce would look rather silly with a captains coat standing there all alone. The fishman had grown a little, a couple feet. He had also gotten a tattoo one his chest of the purple heart emblem along with a whole new wardrobe.

The sun was shining brightly down on the plant like island. Bubbles floated up into the air and popped continuously. Bruce walked along on his way to Grove #1, he was currently in Grove # 21. His size and species attracted a lot of attention. Hell even what he wore would have drawn attention to an ordinary person. With rock-star leather pants and a flamboyant purple coat the giant certainly stuck out. However the moment that the people all disappeared and everything went silent, Bruce knew something was up.

All of the sudden something large and moving at incredible speeds shot towards Bruce. It was on him in only moments. A large blade was swung horizontally from the the right at Bruce. The speed of the swing was incredible and matched the soru level speed of it's user. Was this the end for the fishman, would Bruce's reign as captain end before it began. No, no it would not. With the grace of seasoned dancer, Bruce used his back hand to deflect the sword. It was quick, Bruce used the shockwave technique to increase the power of his back hand. This caused the sword to shoot upward out of the hands of the attacking giant. Spinning to face his foe, Bruce countered with a powerful water enhanced fishman karate punch. The punch shattered the steel plating the giant wore on his chest. Residual shockwaves shot through the giant and destroyed a building in the background. The giants eyes went white and rolled into the back of his eyes, however strangely he didn't fall.

[Mysterious Voices]

"So we got a strong one aye?" said a deep voice from the shadows behind the ruined building.

"Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, he's Bruce of the Purple Hearts an escaped slave. He'll fetch a hefty price if we take him strait to the Celestial Dragon's" a second voice boomed in from behind a large tree.

"Kage, Doragon shut the hell up! You bastards didn't even get hit by him, you can't know how strong he is!" said the giant that had attacked Bruce. Somehow he was all of the sudden just fine. He had faked his injuries, even though an average giant would have been killed.

"Psh all I seen was you getting your ass kicked by a lowly fishman. Not even a true giant, you dumb-shit!" exclaimed Kage stepping out from behind the building

Ken lifted his head to look at Bruce. The giant merely smiled as he slammed a powerful punch into Bruce''s midsection. It sent Bruce skidding back into a building destroying it. Looking at his opponents, Bruce knew he was in trouble. Yeah from the hit he took, he knew he was physically stronger than the giant, by quiet a bit actually. However when Bruce had hit the giant, it felt like he had hit a thick layer of seabed. Bruce had felt this type of technique before, however it wasn't nearly as strong as this giant was able to use it. It was a tekkai so strong that even a powerhouse like Bruce wasn't able to break it by conventional means.

The large rocker boots clicked on the streets of the grove noting everyone going quiet the black Lennon shades shifted towards the only people who seemed left on the street the attackers and the strangely attired fishman. Doc hated slavers he was well aware of their presence here on Shabondy and honestly three on one even for slavers is was pretty low the doctor loaded up the "Queen of Spades" with her Explosive rounds and climbed up to the top of one of the buildings. He fired 4 of the 10 explosive rounds into the ground behind the slavers with a grin knowing it would get their attention he stood there at the top of the building the oilskin duster and platinum blonde shaggy top knot blowing in the wind the sun gleaming off of the Lennon shades. From below they would observe a tall lean young man in rocker boots and plain black pants a flowing sash of dark blue leading up to a bare mid-drift and a blue silk vest the oilskin duster still blowing in the island breeze the mans face is delicately featured his nose is medium length and pointy leading up to the platinum blond top knot blowing in the wind. He grins down at the three slavers before speaking only a slight slur to his voice "Numerous foes may find their bravery against a single foe however it proves them all the more the coward. Shall not the fates be cruel to those on whom is placed the yellow name of coward slaver and cad, The Doctor is in and thou shalt have two opponents at least. " The doctor quickly reloaded the gun with 4 more shells before taking a large swig from the bottle of rum he had tucked in his belt. Looking down at the Slavers and the Fishman with a grin. "Come now come now art thou statues, I haven't got all day. 'Tis better to burn out then to fade away."

Craig Fleetwood, second in command of the Purple Heart Pirates, and a skilled marksman, was laughing heartly from an awful joke which his new aquaintence had just made. And it really was awful. Terrible even. Possibly torturous at a stretch, but definetely groan worthy. The aquaintence in question was a local woman named Sandy, apparently because of her sandy blonde hair which was with a straight fringe above her eye and the rest back length long. She wore a aqua blue cute vest with the picture of an even cuter pink rabbit on it, a pair of skinny jeans and some gold bangles on her wrist, as well as a pair of ordinary pink sneakers, and as always with women who Craig didn't mind putting up with awful jokes, had, umm, "Perfect Propotions" shall we say. "Man, your one hilarious girl Sandy. Not to mention one beautiful one too." Craig said flirtly as they walked down the street, to which Sandy blushed. Craig was about to say a few more mushy lines in hopes of wining the lady's affections, before hearing some incredibly noisy sounds of battle, that was certainly not caused by anytihng man sized. Wait, not man sized? Bruce? Craig thought suprised, not at the idea of his captain fighting, but the realisation that Sandy was enough to distract him from the reason he came to Sabondy Archipelo. Craig grimmaced as he quickly looked at Sandy, then to the direction where the noise came from, then back to sandy, back to the sound of fighting, and so on and so on, while Sandy looked at the marksman pirate with puzzlement. Craig sighed before telling Sandy; "Sorry baby, I think from that sound one of my pals are in huge trouble, you probably better get to someplace safe okay? See later gorgeous!", and rushing over to the sound of fighting, drawring his bow guns from the pockets in his bermuda shorts, while Sandy stood their confused at the mans sudden departure.

(umm, me, Namor and Toshiro were going to go diving =/ I dont know if that still stands, but Greim HAS to go diving to get his new sword in an underwater cavern)

Greim was sitting in the deck, with his body against the main mast. He looked around, trying to look for the figure of his former captain Namor... but he wasnt there anymore. He had left to become the Master of Fishman Karate and the Dojo at Fishman island. He really missed him.

And now they had Bruce as their captain, he wasnt bad, but Greim always remembered he left the crew at Fishman Island. Greim was about to leave the crew, but Marissa conviced him to give Bruce a chance to prove himself as a good captain, and Greim loved her, so he did so.

"Hey guys, I have a story that I want you guys to listen" -Greim told the ones near to him.-"It's a legend, you might find it interesting."

Marissa, a lionfish mermaid, lightly wrapped her long milky tail around the barrel that she was sitting on. She smiled up at the swordsman at her side- her lover, Greim Glowheart.
Thankfully, she had managed to convince him to return to the Purple Hearts crew even after their beloved captain Namor left. Marissa was convinced that Bruce deserved a chance to show off his skills as the new captain and besides, she doubted that Namor would have wanted his strong crew to break up just after he left.

The blonde haired mermaid blinked at the sounds of gunfire coming from the mainland and silently prayed that her crewmates weren't involved in the scuffle...though knowing the men of the Purple Heart Pirates, these prayers were most likely in vain.
Giving a little sigh and putting her pen down for a moment, Marissa took her attention away from the chart that she was working on and looked up at her lover with intent amber eyes.

"A legend?" she responded. "How interesting..." She smiled. "What's the legend about, love?" Marissa leaned against the main mast too, moving a hand to stroke Greim's forearm affectionately.

A large what could only be explained as a vicious looking fishman walked up to Greim and Marissa. He looked strong and large, he wanted something. Cracking the knuckles on all eight of his hands the large fishman came closer. "Give me the girl and nobody get's hurt. " said the octo-fishman.

Three men shot in front of Craig as he ran towards all the commotion. One of the men had what appeared to be an enhanced rifle. The second had a large cannon like handgun, while the final had dual handguns. All three of the men surrounded Craig closing in, all with gun aimed for their fellow marksman. Strangely, the three men looked identical, the only difference was their choice of weaponry. "We are the Olsen triplets, and you can not possibly win against us. Throw down any weapon you may have and surrender.

The three giants merely turned to look at Oda. They all began to laugh hysterically at the small human. It was amusing to them that he threatened them with his small weapon. None of the giants seemed all that concerned about the humans sudden appearance.

Kage sat down on the ground. He leaned up against a large tree causing it to lean and crack. "Well you two can handle these weak little children. I'm just going to catch up on some sleep." said the giant.

"You lazy bastard. Oh well, the more for me." said Doragon licking his lips. Breathing in, the giant's chest puffed out. Exhaling, a massive fireball shot from the man's mouth. It was rather large and would consume not only it's target, but the whole building. It was hurtling at Oda, at break neck speeds.

[Bruce]

Using the opportunity, while the giants were distracted Bruce leaped up and charged. He recognized that Doragon was preparing an attack to use on the human. Bruce needed to do something quick. Grabbing Ken, Bruce chucked the giant at Doragon trying to stop his attack. However it was too late. The giant had launched his massive fireball attack. The two giants collided with a heavy thud.

Despite all of the force Bruce had put into the attack, both of the giants got back up to their feet. Well, one of them was back on their feet, the second had leaped into the air and began flying. Doragon had transformed into a large fire breathing dragon. The dragon wasn't just large, it was massive. It's transformation only made him bigger than before. Now hard scales covered his body and his from the next fire attack he launched at Bruce, his fire was much stronger.

Bruce placed his arms back in front of him with his palms pointed forward. He grabbed the water in the air and formed it around his hands. Pulling his arms back and to his right side the water from his hands formed into a larger blob. Thrusting his arms forward, Bruce roared out the name of his attack. A powerful shockwave enhanced with water from his fishman karate lunched forward. The watery shockwave slammed into the fireball causing a large steamy explosion of energy.

"Ultra Marine Seiken"

As soon as the firearm wielding triplets appeared, Craig's grin widened as he said the first thing that came into his head. "Ha! It's the three little pigs!", the bow-gun wiedler said to himself, stiffling back laughter. He didn't stop his sprint towards Bruce though, he merely fired both of his bow guns at the triplets on the left and the right, hoping it would not only catch them of guard, but startle the middle triplet enough for Craig to slid underneath him and fire at his back. Man, who the hell are these guys anyways? Bounty hunters? Pirates> Slaver? Eh, I dont care, they could just be some realllly angry hairdresser for all i know, maybe even turnip peddlers., Craig thought to himself.

No longer playing around Oda gave a slight grimace he leaped to the next building out of the way just as the fireball crashed into the previous "Mock not the smaller opponent for remember it was mortals that conquered Talos" He grinned aiming his gun at the now stunned giants emptying the entire clip of the Queen of spades firing the explosive shells in a way that would hit both of themJackpot shot he grinned taking a gulp from his jug and reloading the gun before leaping from the building his sash and coat flowing behind him as he hit the ground and rolled before standing up and brushing himself off "Ah so gravity works but a loose body collects less damage"

The first triplet, and only one that hadn't been shot at, threw a large object. Likewise the second triplet threw a similar object. The first object hit the second knocking him out of the way of the incoming bolt. Seconds later the object that the second threw hit the third; not only did it knock him out of the way of Craig's attack, but also launched him at Craig. The third triplet stuck out his left hand mid-air attempting to touch Craig.

Kage lazily sitting about was quiet impressed by Oda. Then all of the sudden, a strange look came upon his face. Staring at Oda somewhat intently, the giant looked like he had just remembered something. Slipping into his own shadow, the giant disappeared from the field.

"Sword Cannon" A majority of the exploding bullets aimed at Ken where diverted away. Pulling his sword in front of his body, Ken blocked with the blade. "Tekkai" Using a his powerful body hardening technique, Ken diverted all of the damage from explosions. "Soru" Speeding towards Bruce, the giant pulled his arm back. "Tekkai Jougan" With the speed of soru combined with a tekkai jougan, the giant sent a powerful attack at the large fishman.

Doragon wrapped his wings around his body. With the combination of his hard scales and the protection from the hard leathery wings, the bullets did very little damage. Unwrapping himself, the giant smiled a toothy smile at the human. "It's my turn now!" said the giant dragon with a cruel laughter. With a beat of his powerful wings the dragon quickly closed the space in between himself and Oda. Lowering his head, the dragon speed up trying to head butt Oda. The attack had more than enough power to level the entire building Oda was standing on; plus some.

[Bruce]

The mighty fishman giant merely countered the punch with one of his own. A blow enhance by the watery fishman karate. Powerful shockwaves shot air and water outwards when the two attacks collided. Everything in the general area was flattened, what was left of the buildings near Bruce, were no more. Bubbles in the air popped and even the ground shook.

Bruce pulled his hand back, it had some nasty cracks in it. These cracks were only skin deep, but still bled badly. However, the giant's arm, crumpled and buckled. The bones in his left arm, were obviously in bad condition. Even with his body as hard as steel, the giant's arm still lost out. Holding his sword in his right hand the wounded giant took a defensive position concentrating on his left side.

"Give up giant, you have no chance of beating me anymore. Take your friends and leave." Bruce warned. At this point, Bruce knew he could beat the swordsman; as long as the other two didn't interfere. Speaking of the other two, Bruce was worried were the third had went to. Even with his shark sense, Bruce couldn't locate him. That could only mean he moved out of range. Did he run away, what are Kage's true intentions?

As Craig slid along the ground seeing the surpising accuracy of the triplets throwing, he let his jaw hang open before managing to squeak, "Ummmm I think I might be in deep sh**." As he barely managed to slide under the first twins legs fast enough to avoid the third twin, feeling him almost managing to get a grip on the nech of Craig's baggy pink shirt. "Okay let's try this then!" Craig exclaimed as he fired two pairs of shots as he finished sliding, two at the first triplet, and two at the other triplets.

Greim smiled to Marissa as she stroked his arm.

"Well, love, it's a legend of an angel sword!"-he started.-

"It is said that a shaman from one of the sky islands hid the soul of two twin angels in twin swords: The Saphire and Ruby Blades. He said that whoever possesed the seords would be able to control the Angel's soul and mind, so they took the seords and hid them on placs of the world where people couldnt easily find them. The legend also says that the Saphire blade is hidden in underwater caves, probably around this areas!"

Greim smiled at Marissa taking her hand. But then he heard a voice behind him, he stood up in a jump and looked at the octopus fishman with anger.

"I will never let you take her!"- he pulled Marissa up and covred her, hiding her behinnd his body.- "She's my love, I will never aloud you to do such a thing and stay alive to tell."

Marissa's amber eyes widened at the sudden appearance of the giant octopus fishman.
What on earth did he want with her?
Whatever it was, she would not allow herself to be taken easily! Not when she and her lover, Greim, had been through so much together already!

Her eyes narrowing sharply in defiance, she pulled two needles from her wristband and dipped them into her lionfish's tendrils before brandishing them before the fishman.
"I'm not going anywhere with you."

She watched as Greim defended her, her heart filling with warmth for him as her fingers interlocked with his.
Suddenly she felt safe, protected in his shadow and prepared to fight any form of capture.

"Tititititititiiiiii, like you could stop me? And what's this? The prey thinks she can fight back. Not likely titititiiii..." the octopus wanton laughed as he continued to approached the two lovers. Pulling out his eight swords, the fishman giant charged full out at the couple. He began to rapidly spin four of his blades in front of him. They would act like buzz saws if it hit one of the two; lobbing parts off of their bodies.

"Four Sword Style: Buzz Saw"

Again the triplets all threw a piece of trash at the others. This time however instead of hitting the other, the trash was used to deflect Craig's attacks. This didn't exactly go as well as the firs time. The triplet that was shot at twice took an arrow in the shoulder. "Arghhhhhh!" screamed the triplets in unison. The three all began to run after Craig shooting at him with their specific weapon. Shots rang over and over again as the bullets flew by Craig's head.

Craig dived and rolled away as soon as the triplets began firing, and then ran a bit more where he got hot in the soulder himself and slid behind a convinietly placed bench, which was quickly shot to splinters, to which Craig cried out in panic and peguin slided behind one of the buildings, keeping his back right against it's corner as he panted heavily. Well tha was wierd as hell, the three of them looked like hey all felt that shot. Suppose i'm gonna have to fire a few more. Hmmm, my shoulder hurts., he thought to himself as he reloaded his bow guns and then quickly popped out of cover to hastily fire two shotsat each triplet and dash back again.

"Yes I think I can defend her! It's not about the amount of swords you weild, ita about the passion you fight with."- Greim said as he concentrated, it had been a while since he had used this technique, no one from the crew had ever seen him do it.

"Takotairei!"-Greim invoked a sporit as he spinned around slashing, his arms were lifted and he seemed to have 3 more arma coming from each side of his body, 8 arms holding swords in total.

"Pain Empire!"-he exclaimed as he approached the for as near Soru speeds that couldnt be noticed approaching and attempted to cut from all antles possible, having its strenght multiplied by 4 by the spirit attack.

Greim and Octokent's attacks clashed producing sparks and a large shockwave the spread through the area. The clash from their attacks was not only dangerous to themselves, but also to anyone that was around them. If they weren't careful Marissa could be caught in between the two warring swordsmen. Neither of the two men would want Marissa to be hurt, or rather damaged. To Greim she was his love, to the wanton, she was nothing more than a package that needed to be delivered.

After their clash resulted in a tie in strength, Octokent roared in disgust. "How could a mere human match me? Even though it was only but half of my true strength. My four sword buzz saw enhances my power by two fold. Titiiiiitttiiitititiiiiii! Human quiver in fear as you witness my ultimate power!" With all eight of his powerful arm the fishman charged Greim. All of his arm span rapidly re-creating his buzz saw technique. With his high speed attack, Octokent was able to rival 16 sword slashes with just one slash of his eight arms.

"Spinning Top: Buzz Saw Mode"

As all of his arms spun doubling his power, Octokent spun himself like a top. With all eight arms spinning and the fishman himself spinning like a top, there was literally no opening Greim could exploit. With great speed Octokent drew nearer. Nearly anything that could be thrown at the wanton would be deflected or cut into ribbons. How would Greim and Marissa counter such a devastating move?

Oda sauced as he was hadn't forgotten about the other giant slipping away. However his mind was on the battle at hand and if he remembered one thing very clearly in experience with dragons when ramming they generally hurt. So taking another gulp for courage he jumped up and over the head of the huge dragon man coming toward him he looped out the three foot string of Sea-stone prayer beads and let them hang down ready to let the dragons momentum do the rest knowing the giants shoulders would be to big to get through the loop he should get snagged in the beads.

Greim tried to block the attack with a slash with both swords, but it was too much for him. He had failed to protect his love, he had fallen with the attack that slashed his chest and left a cut from one side to the other, from left to right of it, but the strenght was so great that sent him flying and he banged his head against the mast. The reason for he taking the attack in such a strong way was that one of his two swords, the one that his father had gifted him as his first sword, had been broken. It was too old, the other one didnt really represent much to him... but this, he just couldnt take it.

Greim passed out in pain for his head, he couldnt do anything to save Marissa.

Marissa's eyes widened in shock and terror.
"Greim! No!"
She lunged forward to protect her love, her body stretched across his in a defensive stance. Marissa pulled a handful of needles from her wrist band, throwing them at the attacking fishman and hoping that they would not be slashed away by his swords.
Her eyes filled with tears as she looked back to Greim, slashed and passed out. She wrapped her arms around him, kissing his forehead and tugging at his torn shirt. "Please wake up! Please!"
Marissa wasn't afraid of Octokent and didn't fear not being protected from him; she was terrified for her brave swordsman. She wanted nothing more than for him to be alright.

For him to wake up and show her that he hadn't been hurt beyond repair.

She glared up at Octokent, quivering, her long sandy blonde hair falling forward.
Marissa despised the sword-wielding fishman for what he had done to Greim but she was no idiot. Against his swords, her needles would be uselesss...and she didn't want him to resort to hurting Greim again.
Marissa's voice was shaky as she spoke. "D-Don't come any closer." She glowered at Octokent, tears forming in her eyes as she clutched at her lover's unconcious form, shielding him. "Who s-sent you here? What do you want with m-me!?" She swallowed, her heart thudding. The young mermaid looked around. No other Purple Hearts appeared to be in the area. "I don't understand! I'm just a Lionfish mermaid! I'm an orphan! I have no family for ransom and I don't have a bounty on my head. Why d-do you want to take me away? You'll gain nothing!"

Feeling a bit numb from the needle he had taken to the shoulder the fishman decided it was better to bluff than fight. "Titititiiiiitttiiiiiiii, his love wasn't enough to save you. Now lets see if your love is enough to save him....If you surrender, I wont kill that pathetically trashy human." he said holding up chains. Octokent decided to totally ignore what the mermaid was saying, as his answers would only cause her fear.

[Grove 4]

The triplets followed their fellow marksman's example and took cover. One was behind a building, another behind a tree, and the final behind a small hill. Each popped out to take a shot, one after another. The first would shoot, then two seconds later the second would shoot, then three seconds after that the third would shoot, and after one mere second the first would open fire once again. This gave Craig very little time to return cover-fire. Would the marksman notice the weakness in their plans?

As the two beads touched the devil fruit user, he morphed back to his original form. Crashing into the building in his giant form headfirst, a loud eerie crack was heard. The sound could mean only one thing. As the building crumbled on top of it the giant became motionless. The battle between Oda and the giant was finally over. Using the distraction Oda created, Bruce charged the wounded giant. Smashing him into the ground with a powerful punch, a crunch was head. Every bone in the giants chest had been smashed. Ken laid on the ground coughing up the blood that filled his lungs. Slowly but surely the giant began slipping away into the darkness.

As Craig attempted some return fire after listening to the rhythym of the shots from the triplets, he popped from his cover and fired two quick shots at the third triplet before being shot in the shoulder and leaping back behind cover cursing. "Man, since when did people stop having fair fights anymore? I liked it better when we used to fight one on one." Craigcomplained before he decided to blindfire with one of his bowguns, fireing randomly from cover, where only the hand that held the bowgun was visible, not even having the slightest clue on how he did. "Knowing my luck though, it probably all hit a tree.", Craig mumbled to himself.

Marissa felt her eyes fill with tears further and she swallowed them back, sniffing.
She knew she had to be strong at this point. She was a pirate, after all.
Marissa refused to let her tears fall and instead nodded, looking at her fallen swordsman as she said softly: "Alright. I'll go with you."
Her heart thudding fit to burst from her chest and her temples throbbing, Marissa gave Greim one last kiss on his motionless lips. "Do not forget me," she whispered. "No matter what happens, I'll always love you."
Using one of her needles, she scratched this message out on to the wood of the mast- "I will always love you"- and after tossing the rest of her needles aside in surrenderance, the young mermaid shuffled to the feet of the giant octopus fishman. She looked up at him. "I'll go with you now but you must promise not to lay another suction cup on Greim...and you must not return to this ship or its residents..."

Appearing directly from under Oda, Kage just appeared towering over the human. It was instantaneous, all one fluid super fast movement. Kage attempted to slam his large fist down onto the human. However he wasn't trying to kill him, just knock him out to capture. Oda had almost no time to react to the actions of the giant. "The infamous Doctor Oda, we have clients that would like to meet with you! Grahahahaha!" Kage cackled.
