History: Martin was a slave from birth, his mother was a slave however his dad was the slave owner. The reason he was born was because his father sexually abused his mother, Martin was forced to work in the snow, he killed animals, collected food and dug for gold. In return he got to sleep in a cottage on a piece of wool for food he got porridge and rice. Martin hated living like this, he was forced to work when he didn't want to and he had to stay in the same island. Martin from a young age wanted to head out into sea and explore different islands. Martin as he worked got many bruises on his back, he was getting whipped many time. His so called dad didn't even care about his health however his mother treated him with care.
Martin, every night would try and break his chains by using a rock, he had once got caught doing this and got whipped on the eye with a very hot whip. It stung very much. As years went by Martin had got used to the weather in the island, in fact he enjoyed the cold. It was very refreshing to him. One night, while trying to break the chains, after a lot of hitting, it finally came off. He was very excited. He tried to tell his mum but she was...dead. The owner had killed her for she tried to let him free her son.
Martin was outraged, one night, while the owner was sleeping he had gotten a boulder and smashed his head. The moment he done this he was known as an outlaw, a pirate. He took one of the owner's swords and made a vow to his mother, he told her that he would gather a strong crew and stop slavery, he would become the pirate king and change the law.
He stole the slave owner's ship which was about the same size as a normal pirate ship and set off,while sailing he painted his crew's flag he also discovered that the ship had 2 rooms, he is now currently approaching a snowy island similar to Drum Island.
A friendship in the land of snowOnce Martin had arrived onto the island. He was greeted by 3 men who stated that his weapon was dangerous and hand to be taken away. Martin escaped the men and ran into a young man named Kip. The two got to know each other and went to eat at the bar. They were then attacked by a man in a hood. They soon beat him. An old man, the bar owner, then confessed that the island was taken over and that his wife was kidnapped by the men. Martin, Kip and the old man's grandson set off to save her. After some battles in the enemy HQ they finally won and returned the wife. They had a big party in the bar. Martin and Kip then set off.
Personality: Martin is a kind hearted fellow, he loves to joke around and values life very much for he was once a slave. Martin loves to be around crowded places such as the bar or a village, he also loves fishing. Martin always loves a good laugh and also loves to converse with others, while sailing he is not a very strict captain, in fact he can be very layed back. He doesn't really love fighting however he knows that it has to be done, Martin can be very funny.

Special Abilities:Pain- Martin after getting whipped for most of his childhood dosen't really fell pain when he is cut or punched. [Other attacks such as Guns and Bombs does hurt him]
Basic Swordsmanship: After being thrown into 2 hard battles, his experience on using his sword has grown.
Planning: Although he might not be the one to think, he tends to make up plans on the spot to get him and his friends out of danger.
Strength: His strength has increased and is now above average, due to all the hard training he had went through. (Read thread to find the training)
