I am proud to say that Frozen is back and will be roleplaying with us once more. I do not know if he will jump back in during the current thread or if he will wait until the next thread. I have left that up to him.

I have good news in another area as well. Tiberius and Health Candy. Thank you so much for waiting so patiently. We have reached the final battle and are very near to the end of this first thread. I guess now I need to come up with a basic plot for thread number two...hmmm...I really have no idea at the moment... No problem. It'll come soon enough.

Anyway, Taizu. Basically, here's how this goes: I'm trying to avoid overloading my crew with new characters. I've seen plenty of crews fall apart because they try to bring in too many people all at the same time. So, to lessen the chance of that happening, I am only allowing two people to join per thread. Both the first and the second threads are full and we are still in the first, albeit we are near the end of it. The third thread only has one other person joining in it and that is Publichaos. If you want, you can join in that thread alongside him.

I would love to have your character along for the ride, but I have to warn you, you're going to be in for a long wait. If you still wish to join, perhaps you should create another character or maybe two. Then you can join other crews and still get to roleplay with them while you wait. Whatever you decide, thank you for considering this crew.

I'm glad, and more than a little surprised, to see that so many have taken an interest in being a part of this crew. It has been working out far better than I ever expected. Thank you, everyone.

Paladin, the first thread is really good!

I love the plot and all the enemies, it's a joy to read you and Genshi's posts. I can't wait to see the plot for the second thread. However if you're still in need of a plot can we have something like the Davy Fight Back? That way everyone can have an enemy or take place in a event.

I've done a little thinking and if you like my idea here are the rounds:

1) Tag team battle round

2) Race to the finish

3) Final round: Captain vs Captain

Whichever crew loses has to stop being a pirate.

EDIT: We can gain the two new recruits before the tournament begins

Frozen, I kinda do have a plan for the very beginning of the thread. I had that planned for a while now. And very recently I decided what the next island would look like. My main issue is who the enemies will be and why we fight them and so forth.

I'm sorry, but I'm not crazy about the idea of us doing a Davy Fight Back. For one thing, the Straw Hats did that in the show and I don't want to copy anything they do. Sure, we'll do similar things, but I don't want what we do to be exactly the same. Perhaps we'll enter a competition at some point. That would be a nice change from the regular routine, but it won't be a Davy Back Fight. And it probably won't have too high stakes either. If the deal is that the losers stop being pirates, there is absolutely no way that we would lose. The outcome of the fight would be known right from the start.

If you want to join this crew, you can once your character is approved, but here is something that you should know:

I am only accepting two characters in one RP thread at a time. In other words, in the first thread Patch and Genshi joined. We are going to start the second thread very soon (in the next day or two) and in that thread, Nathanial and Crona will be joining. After that, we only have one person who is supposed to join in the third thread. (Although I haven't heard anything from him in ages, so I'm just taking it on faith that he is still joining.) So in other words, the earliest you could join would be the third thread. And considering how long it took us to get through the first, you are in for a long wait. So if you don't want to wait, that's fine. I have no problem with that. However, if you do want to wait, I would suggest that you either create another character to RP with in another crew or you could always try to organize a thread for your current character with some people on the site.
