Serious: Sky Island Catastrophe (Open)

As the sky darkened from the shadow of the massive sky island drifted over Nanato island the ground began to rumble ans shake. Fissures leading from one shore of the island all the way to the center volcano and back to the other side formed. One by one the cracks appeared and the island began to fall into a sea of twirling ocean water and magma. Massive pillars of steam and water began to shoot up into the sky all around the island. Even with the volcano completely sealed the massive force caused it to erupt violently. It streamed upwards towards the sky island like the water, as if being pulled by a magnet.

Looking up, there was a massive black or purple cloud over the sky island. It was as if darkness its self had turned off the sun. The darkness, began spinning forming a vertex over the island; a vortex of darkness. Even the trees and vegetation from the sky island were being sucked into the vortex. The power was incredible, as it sucked up entire lakes worth of the ocean water, and a mountains worth of the super heated magma.

With all of his effort the old man herded the islanders onto the Steel Village ships. It took only two hours to fully evacuate the entire village as well as all of the crew. With Captain Sangjo at the helm of the flag ship, the Nation of Steel, it looked like they would escape. All of the ships were tired together with a massive system of rope ladders. However just as they were about to clear the pull of the black vortex cloud, a stream of water and steam; set off by an erupting underwater volcano launched the fleet of ships into the air. The pull was more than enough to snap the rope system and scatter all of the ships around the massive drifting sky island.

Alphonse was on the ship when it happened, the skies turned dark and all hell broke loose. Alphonse found himself assisting the townsfolk to leave the island, pushing and pulling people that were neglected to leave the powerful shit storm that ran through their town. Alphonse tried to help with the roping as much as possible, but he wasn't a knot expert.. and he didn't know if his metal rods would attract any of the lightning he thought would appear.

Just as the ships were out to sea in a few hours, a huge explosion of water took the ship from underneath its flank. Alphonse instinctively tried to put everyone with metal objects still by forcing the metal on their body to halt, but he forgot one very important thing.. himself. The amounts of water that splashed unto the ship touched Alphonse and weakened him completely.. salt water rusted him momentarily, and was a weakness of the metal fruit. Alphonse then, at that very moment, was shot out of the ship by the shockwave of the water, thrown far from the others on the ship and into his own direction.

- In the sky island -

Alphonse woke up, in the middle of a house with a giant hole on the top of it.. he looked around to find only a few women in mini skirts, pretty ones at that. There were no men at this place, which made Alphonse blush at first.. till he figured out that having a closed area with little to no oxygen in it and only women was NEVER a good sign.. as he heard the other crew mates talking about once (coincidentally). Alphonse checked his body, and found a few rusted areas.. it would take a little while before that would heal, before then his armors would have weak spots on them. He stood up, and walked towards the door the women were so afraid to open, kicking the door and making it fly into the ground. The door was extremely heavy, and was supposed to keep any normal person IN the dark room.

When Alphonse took a brief look at his surroundings, he couldn't believe his eyes.. the island, WAS MADE OF CLOUDS?!

Roberto was drinking sipping a cola when they skys rumbled that had scared Roberto and he spilled the cola on his pants, so he began to take a swim so he could clean off his pants in which he held onto the side of the ship, Calupa who was in hyena hybrid mode was scratching the back of his ear with his foot. He then signaled for Roberto to come back on the ship when they were soon swept into the stream pointing upwards and Roberto's grip on the ship was relinquished. Roberto was swept away in the stream approximately 45 degrees away from the ship.

Calupa woke up in the midst of a group of angry sky islanders with a variety of weapons all gathered in a circle around Calupa and then grapped him and dragged him out the circle where he saw someone with a a large bat and tattoos all over. Roberto woke up in the middle of nowhere no buildings or anything for miles around. "I guess more training!" Roberto said as he began speeding off in the north.

Sangjo realized the new world was no walk in the park before he they had even set sail in there. This sea was the toughest in the world, and was the backyard for the yonkou. Though sometimes even this sea, threw its own surprises. While Sangjo and the others were training, a mysterious object appeared in the sky. This thing apparently was destorying the island sucking everything in its wake. Sangjo ordered the crew as well the villages on the ships in preperation of leaving, but it was too late. Everything as well as everyone was sucked up in the vortex. Sangjo had to use the air currents and steer the whip while soaring in the air. He clenthed the steering wheel hard in a an grip and tried his hardest the too keep the ship steady. As the nation of steel swirled out of contol in sky, Sangjo straighten the ship out so at least they didn't get dizzy and knew their heading. "Damn never tried sailing in the air. If only kenji was around to see this I could have rubbed it in his face." Sangjo held the ship the together keeping it steady so not to be aimlessly flying yet flexible so the winds doesn't tear the ship apart. He sailed with the constant changing wind currents until finally the ship was above land. "What the hell is this? An island in the sky? Iken never told us about this AHHHhhhhhhhhh!!!!" The ship fell from the air toward the floating contienent. Sangjo yelled "Brace for impact" as they crashed unto ground. The ship slid for miles before coming to a quick stop leaving an enormous trench behind. Thanks to Sangjo the flagship was saved and its passangers secure. Sangjo fell on his kness patting the ship's floor "Thanks u girl."

Sangjo then looked around to see not only was the ship damaged but some of the crew had flown overboard. He used his loud booming voice along with his autotune abilities to shout "ROLL CALL. EVERY STEEL PIRATE ON DECK NOW." Sangjo needed to know the safety of the crew first and who was missing before anything else/

Right before this had all transpired, a figure was flying through the open waters towards the Steel Village ships, pushing energy out of his legs to propel him self forward. He had black hair and a hammer on his back, it was Thor Adams. He had left awhile ago to train, but after that, he decided to find his old crew in hopes that they would take him back. He had been following a trail via people saying "They went that way", or "they were at _____ last I heard". But this was it, because he could see his crews ships in the distance. He was ready to come back and fight for the Village again when suddenly, the sky turned black, and Thor looked up to see a massive cloud above him and the ship, AND the island the ship was docked at. What happened next seemed impossible, as the entire ship, island, and himself, were thrown up onto the cloud. After Thor landed, he saw that he had landed next to a house, and a few moments later, that someone flew into the house. Thor instinctively began running to the door, but a second before he got there he saw and old friend kick it down. He then looked at Alphonse for a moment.

"Okay, I'm sorry this has to be my big entrance, but what the hell just happened?" Thor said

He was almost there, the green haired Steel Villager that was dragged up from the island by an unknown phenomenon could almost touch the ground of the sky island and find out what was going on, and the weather wanted to give him a hand. Out of nowhere, a sudden force yanked Kiba downward towards the ground, almost breaking his legs when he landed. He lost his balance, making him trip and fall to the floor, while every cell of his body felt like it weighted a ton. Zurui wasn't having an easy time either with his weight suddenly increased, making him tighten over Kiba as if he was a huge boulder. It was like gravity itself was sucking Kiba towards the center of the island.

'What the hell's going on?!' He thought as he gritted his teeth forcefully, barely managing to breathe under the heavy pressure. But then, just when he thought he was going to pop, The gravity returned to normal. He took a deep breath as his body recovered from the shock, tilting his head to retrieve his focus. He looked around to see if it was safe to get up, but soon enough found out he had no choice. A glance to the sky spotted an island-worth of rocks, water, lava and other debris dropping towards the sky island. A giant shadow was cast over him as the sky avalanche closed in, forcing him to get to his feet.

"Soru!" He shouted as he began sprinting away from his current position, trying to get as far away from the avalanche as he could. The diving rocks began showering down like meteors, making Kiba zigzag between them to prevent himself from getting reduced to a pulp. When he spotted a giant boulder heading down his way, he quickly stopped and clicked his Hand Scythes open. "Predator Roar!" He shouted as he slashed the air above him in blinding speed, making a crescent silver projectile launch towards the boulder, followed by a roar of a jungle predator. The air blade hit the boulder head-on, knocking it away from its path and splitting it to several pieces. The ships of the Steel Village began dropping down soon enough, and the avalanche seemed t calm down after a few more seconds of zigzagging and slashing debris, but throughout that time Kiba couldn't help but wonder what could have made this disaster happen.

Desais stood back up after the pandemic occurred. After lightly brushing off his clothing of any dust or dirt Desais peered his eyes around the ship and the sky. He noticed that not all of the ships were together anymore. Of in the distance he saw a few of the ships that was tied to the one he was on. "Well this is just great...." Desais said with sarcasm.

Alphonse was at first amazed by the area around him, the ground and the skies both looked different.. especially the ground, it was made of white fluffy, yet hard floors. When his vision adapted to what was obviously in front of him he noticed a sight he hadn't seen in what seemed like a life time.. Thor, his old Division Commander had finally returned to steel. Alphonses eyes widened a bit, he hadn't thought Thor would ever come back.. yet here he was. Most of the people from his past, his friends, had either died, disappeared, or joined the WG.. he was glad one of them, or one of the important ones, came back.

Alphonse looked at Thor for a moment, trying to make sure he had come back and that it wasn't an illusion caused by the weird island. He took his finger out and poked his chest, trying to see if anything solid would hit.

If his chest was poked, then Alphonse would smile.

"So it really IS you Thor.. WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN YOU ASSHOLE?!"

this sudden split in personality was from the many episodes of his Sarah not being around, and worse.. the damn friends that kept disappearing on him.

Thor laughed a little when Alphonse poked his chest, and not so much when he blew up at him. He was not expecting that. He didn't know why he was so mad, he had told the entire crew he was going to train before he left. He then remembered Alphonse wasn't there, for whatever reason and felt bad.

"Sorry, I told most of the crew I was going off on my own to train, I assumed they would have told you..." he said, guiltily "But seriously what is this?!" he asked looking around and pointing at the clouds everywhere. "I mean, we're standing on goddamn clouds!" he said

Alphonse went back to looking at the area they were surrounded in, it was completely different then other islands. Alphonse stepped on the white, fluffy looking ground gently, thinking he would fall out of the sky if he made a wrong move. He quickly noticed, after putting his foot down and looking at the heavy door on the ground, that it as just as good as any ground. He shifted his attention to the houses, and how odd it was that they were around things that had a remarkably rare resemblance to clouds.. he remembered going high into the sky, did they they land on clouds??

Alphonse quickly stated placing most of the problem together, it would make sense that hurling themselves into the air at such speed would help them reach clouds.. but he always thought clouds weren't solid, but gas.

Alphonse tried to answer Thor in the best of ways, for all he knew his answer was completely wrong.

"Well.. I think we're in clouds Thor.. although, exactly WHERE in the clouds, I have less of an idea then you.."

Alphonse's focus almost instantly shifted to something else.

"We might have to look for the others.. it's good to have you back Thor, maybe we should start looking in.." Alphonse knew Pirates allways gathered in bars, its the one thing that rarely fails.. it's also the place where people gather intel.

".. that bar.." he pointed at a place with rough looking people moving about inside. He was still with some rust around his arms, and a part of his chest, but he was sure it would leave soon... this was a hell of a lot better then fish-man island, that's for sure.

Monty was already to late to get in the ship. After he had managed to progress huge quantities in his training and skill he wanted to go back to his crew and stay with them for good, if he needed more training he would train with them, it seemed the most reasonable thing to do. But Monty had been to late... the Nation of Steel was in the sky island and Monty had no idea of how to get up there.

He had to think fast. There were things sucked up by a vortex and stuff flying... and the answer!!! There were shots of water being hurled up into the air. He could use a version of his Water Torpedo attack to get shot by one of those and get on to the Sky Island... whichever it was.

The next thing that happened... well, it could have easily resulted in a deadly accident, but Monty was part of the Steel Village for some reason, and he had been training for a long time, so he wasnt scared. He predicted where one of the water shots would sprout and he dived deep into the water, then he gained speed... incredible speeds as he dived out and he jumped into the air just as he was shot up by a water current.

Monty flied and flied... actually he was just about to fall. And after he had done it, he had no idea what to do. He had acted without thinking... But he managed to do what he wanted... although he hadn't calculated where he was going to drop. He was flying directly towards the Nation of Steel.

Monty started shouting.-"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!"- as he dropped towards the big ship, and puffed to cause more air resistance and hit with less strenght, which managed to work until some point. He hit the Nation of Steel really heavily and rolled through the floor banging himself with the main mast and shaking it a lot .

Thor waited for Alphonse to answer, he had missed his old crew mate, and was glad to have him back. Thor decided to study his surroundings as well. He noticed the ground was all fluffy and soft. The only thing Thor could think of was a cloud. Then he remembered, it probably was a cloud. If he was pulled upwards into the air, then it probably was a cloud. Alphonse voiced the same ideas right as he was thinking this, and also suggested the bar near them. Thor then nodded and walked towards the bar.

When the black cloud came, Takumi wasn't able to do anything. He was already exhausted from lifting boulders for what seemed like days, and because of that he wasn't able to preform Namikaze Flash or Geppou to help him escape the frantic pull that destroyed the entire island. It wasn't before long before he was thrown onto one of the clouds, unconscious. The last thing he saw was several people with what seemed like wings to his barely conscious mind. Then he passed out, oblivious to the fact that he was sinking, sinking into a cloud...

Sangjo looked around the ship to find to find his crew.....only none of them were still on the ship. He took some rope from one of the torn masts of the ship and wrapped it around his waist to the ship. His nakama was scattered all over the island and his job as captain to round them all up. Not to mention sangjo is not going to clean the ship all by himself. Sangjo jumped off the ship and began calling out throughout the island. Out of all the strangest things in the grand line this had to top it. The steel pirates conquered paradise, the first half of the grand line, but the New World is..... a new level of extreme. A floating island was something Sangjo would have never imagined would exist.

The tribal looking man near Calupa along with his group of warriors stood encircling the downed zoan user. With one wave of his hand the circle broke and the men moved back leaving the heavily tattooed man standing along in front of Calupa. The bat on his shoulder began to transform, it morphed into a human like bat. It had obviously eaten a zoan fruit, however whether it was human to begin with was unknown. A second later the man followed suit and transformed as well. Now two human-bat hybrids stood in front of the lone zoan user ready for battle.

The scandalously clad female skypians that Alphonse had dropped in on now surrounded the two. Their hips swayed as the seductively walked towards Alphonse and Thor. Some of them were blowing kisses and winking while other let out cheers flirting with the two. However it wasn't what it appeared, for pretty much out of nowhere the group of 10 woman bulled out burn bazookas from somewhere behind them. Simultaneously, they began blasting away shooting the area where Thor and Alphonse stood.

A group of skypian warriors with flaming spear flew towards Desais on a jet dial powered crafts. There was a front line of five with the spears, behind them there were ten on foot with various dial empowered weapons. At the way back, bringing up the flank were five warriors carrying ranged weapons. Once in range the back line began shooting explosive rounds toward Desais while the front lines advanced further.

Hauling back a chained Takumi were three young skypians. All three were riding on the dial powered vehicles with Takumi riding on the back of the one leading the other two. The three seemed to be heading east, towards the area where all of the dirt and water had been dumped.

An army of men and woman began to surround the Nation of Steel from all sides. The enemy was different from the other groups seen so far. This group was made out of half breeds with one thing in common. They all were part skypian. Giants, humans, fishmen, dwarves, all of them represented as a skypian half breed. The number of them surrounding the ship was over 100. Ten half giants, 20 human hybrids, 40 half fishmen, and 30 miniature winged men. All of these foes were armed to the teeth with various dial powered weapons, and ready to fight what ever came out of the ship.

Desais spread his skeletal wings and used rokushik to fly. As he flew he created 10 mm of bone around his body. "Well this is fun...guess i better take these guys down " Desais said as he readied his phalanges for launching. "Phalange bullets!" Desais yelled as he began launching sharp spiked phalanges at his pursuers.

Alphonse took a few steps in the direction of the bar, but once he moved with Thor he heard a few steps behind him. Alphonse turned around and saw that the 10 women that were surrounding Alphonse before had now started flirting with him and Thor.. this was very inappropriate in so many standards, but Alphonse simply could not resist. His face turned red as the woman walked towards him, they showed their bodies and caused him to imagine many forms of pleasure.. like eating, lots and lots of eating- with them. He did not expect them to take out bazookas.

Just as he was ready to enjoy himself with attractive ladies he saw them all pull out weapons instantly.. by instinct Alphonse created metal walls between him and the woman, blocking the intense heat made by their burn bazookas. It happened almost instantly.. the almost being what allowed some of the burning to come through and hurt Alphonse, which was now in one knee. Alphonse didn't know it, but he just got rick-rolled.

"I'm going.. to kill all of you when i regain my composure.. Ugh.. that damn rust, can't even make a full body metallic cover without having rust in some areas.."

Thor began walking to the bar when he and Alphonse were stopped by a few extremely attractive women. They began hitting on him and Alphonse like it was no tomorrow, which Thor found very strange. As Thor began to inspect the women for a reason they would be flirting with them, Alphonse gave in and began playing along. Thor then noticed the edges of weapons behind the womens' backs. Thor then immediantly pulled out his hammer and looked over at Alphonse.
"Shit, Al-" Thor began, but it was too late, the women pulled their weapons out and Alphonse barely block them. Thor quickly made a shield out of energy. He then faced the women and began coating his hammer with energy.

"You're fucking with the wrong people" He said to them

As Takumi woke up, he couldn't remember where he was. He tried to look at his surroundings, but one eye stayed firmly shut and the other opened just enough for him to see that he was moving. He tried moving his arms, but there was something else than fatigue preventing him from doing that. It looked like he had been tied up with chains.

The shock of the realization that he had been captured caused him to open both of his eyes completely and feebly look around. He could see the guy that was carrying him, and two other guys behind him on some kind of vehicles. But that was not the worst. Not even the fact that he really seemed to be on the clouds accounted for that position. No, the worst was that he could clearly feel the strain he had put on his body by carrying those immense boulders day and night. Not that he didn't expect that to happen; in fact, he had prepared himself for it; but he didn't expect to have to engage in combat in this state. But it didn't look like it mattered anyway. The chains were thoroughly tied in such a way that he doubted pure physical strength would be sufficient to break them.

Now, he could do nothing else than watch idly as these sky people carried him off somewhere, and who knew what would happen to him when they arrived on their destination? If he was lucky he would just be locked up for suddenly crashing into this cloud from the bottom, along with the entire Steel fleet, which wouldn't even be that bad, but he had the ominous feeling that that wasn't quite what these people had in store for him.

Despite not being able to resist his agressors, he could talk to them. At least that would enable him to learn more of his situation.

"Hey! Who are you people? And where are you taking me?"

Monty stood up after having hit himself very hard against the ship. He saw that everything seemed half-destroyed and in a bad state... this was very weid. No one seemed to be around, not like Monty really minded, since he had been so much time alone, but he would've wanted to see his old mates.

Suddenly he saw people pop out of the surroundings, like if they hadn't been there before but they just appeared. It could have a lot to do with Monty being distracted... but he didn't really know about this. The people were COMPLETELY strange.

Some of them were dwarfs that had wings, others were really big giants with wings, humans with really small wings and even other fishmen with wings... Was this a dream? Had he been dragged into a nightmare? They seemed to be raging towards the Nation of Steel, and Monty's only idea was to attack them, because they would obviously try to kill him if they managed to get close. It seemed to be an army.

"FUCK!" -Monty said as he focused his energy on enlarging all of his spikes. His steel-like contexture skin and spikes allowed him to use this an armor, not a single part of his body was unprotected. This was his Devil's Barbed Armor technique, which was very useful... especially if they got to close. -"Steel Potpurri!"

As he said this, Monty started to break his spikes and hurl them at high speeds at as may opponents as he could, all of them were imbued by his poison and if they hit, they would cause lots of trouble to the opponents.

Monty hurled spikes in all directions possible where he saw enemies... these spikes regrew quickly in his body, since he had mastered skills like this one.

Sangjo saw an army of monsters around the ship almost instantly. These monsters looked like angles only some were small, giant size, and even fishy looking. Sangjo wondered if he and Ami ever had children what would they look like? He imagined his boy would have a tail fin on for a head, or his daughter havin sixteen tentacles for legs. Sangjo shivered at the thought. Before he could attack werid projectiles came flying toward him. With his agility, Sangjo leaped over three of the spikes in the air. With one thrust from his robotic left leg, He sky hooked his way back on the ship kinda like geppo. When Sangjo got closer he recognized who was on the ship. It was monty!!! "Oi Monty, Watch where you are aiming!!!!! You almost hit me." Sangjo realized he was going too fast. He didn't realize his cyborg leg was so strong. Sangjo crashed right into Monty in his spike form screaming "OWCH!!!!" releasing a sound wave into the air.

With the avalanche of literally everything finally seized, Kiba decided to do the first thing any espionage professional would do: Collect information. "You alright Zurui?" He whispered into his cloak, who in turn turned invisible as a sign that everything was fine. While invisible, Kiba looked around him, trying to get a glimpse of what happened. He was surrounded by everything from boulders and mud to seawater and cooling lava, all spread around in piles of chaotic mess. He couldn't determine where the crew landed, or whether they too were scattered around the island like the earthly mess.

Unfortunately, before he could start searching, a distant sound caught his attention. He turned his head to spot three flying vehicles heading towards him. He couldn't decide if the drivers spotted him before he vanished under his invisible cloak, but he decided to bet that they didn't. He crouched down and stepped into the shadow of a large boulder, to hide his own shadow from the aerial rider, and observed quietly. As the vehicles passed above him, Kiba spotted Takumi chained in the backseat of the leading one. "Soru" He whispered, rushing to the next shadow of a boulder in the blink of an eye, before following with another Soru dash to another boulder. Now that he found one of his crew mates, he couldn't afford to lose him, and decided to follow the vehicles.

Tamako had finally come home, or at least that was what she had convinced herself she had. While traveling the high seas she had gained experience and power and was ready to return home and take the thrown of Godhood of Skypia. As it turned out, the many years she had been away from home had left her memory a little hazy towards what her home really looked like, so when she saw a large cloud swirling with such energy over an island with a huge geyser firing off into it, she had convinced herself that it was home.

She had been flying that day by creating a blimp out of her hair and creating a flame under it to create lift. By controlling the fins that she had created outside of it, she could control her direction, so all she needed to do was increase the thrust of the fire to bring herself up there.

Of course, the force of outside heat was outside of her calculation, so as she approached the cloud, the rising heat took her and swung her high into the clouds.

When she got out, she was over a mile away from the ship, even though she didn't even know about them.

"ONE HUNDRED DOGGY FIGHTING STYLE FLURRY!!!" Calupa bent his knees and the bandits began to surround him but one by one were sent flying by a flurry of punches and it seemed like Calupa had more than 2 arms, and soon so was the bandit leader. Calupa blew on his fist as if smoke and steam were coming off it and moans and groans began to arise from the bloody bandits surrounding Calupa. Roberto felt like white flash and sparks began to burst from his legs and he began to trip over himself. He felt down on his butt and checked around, still no one or civilization around. "Damn it first the volcano now being lost on a sky island!" Roberto's stomach began to growl and he moaned "I haven't even eaten anything in hours!" Roberto lie down flat awaiting rescue even the slightest noise and then began to doze off.

Sisimo would lay unconscious on a hawk's back. The hawk was named navi, A hawk sisimo found inside the prison upon escape. That had flown him away to somewhat safety and away from the crew he wanted to join. The hawk swooped up and landed upon the roof of a building on a island in the sky. It would spot multiple people. But it would fly toward the one named alphose and drop the 1 inch tall boy on his shoulders. Land on the side and caw. Sisimo would slowly open his eyes, Pain surging through his right arm as he yelled "CAPTAIN!" Awaking from what seemed like a nightmare
