Dark Isle Elementary School (Open to Karasu and Lost)

Yaminoque burst through the door, he was standing outside as guard to make sure nobody would come in. When he heard her voice screaming for help he assumed the worst. When he burst through his face was like that of a mad man, about to kill any in his way... that was, until he saw that it was just the maids treating her wounds. He took a sigh of relief, and put his hand on the back of his head, scratching it. He then walked towards her, taking his time, and put his other hand on her head.

"You had a nightmare I assume, right? Well don't worry, these are all maids to help you.. please don't move, you'll only burn yourself further."

Yaminoque moved towards her and put his hand on her forehead, she still had warm skin.. he had to make sure her outer layer healed properly. he sat next to her, his legs crossed with a smile.

"Don't worry, I'm here with you, you don't have to be scared."

After getting to know the young princess for a week the maids had begun to feel more comfortable around her, their confidence being inspired by her cuteness. They had received word from Karasu, by den den mushi, for them to do absolutely anything necessary for his daughter to go to school. Within moments of it being 7:00 in the morning four figures were already seen around her bed. Quickly and stealthfully, all four of the women jumped on the bed and tickled her uncontrollably, two holding her down while the other two tickled for five seconds. That would normally be enough to wake up anybody. After the assault the women all stood by 2 feet from one another in a parallel form, much like soldiers when they wake up from bed.

"Good morning princess Ella, today is your first day in Dark Isle Elementary, do you feel excited that you get to make new friends?"

The maids tried to plea with Karasu in the past to change the schools name, since the thing it spelled didn't exactly lead to a positive conclusion to their futures as assassins. The ladies tried their best not to mention this to her. They took out an entire closet filled with little clothes, they brought it in from another island apparently. The clothes were many, it was surprising the portable closet could even fit through the door.

"Alright, first thing is first, pick out your clothes!!"

The maids started to immediately move towards her, taking the clothes away and moving through her at eye blinking speeds. Within seconds, when the swirling stopped, Ella was already dressed, and ready to go to school. They even added sandals for her.

The maids opened the door for her and accompanied her to the area her grandfather would be waiting in. At first the sight that Ella would see would be the seemingly endless amount of rooms going down the hall. Each of them had an identical door, including Karasus. The only ones that stood out as abnormal, were ones that had black lining on the sides. The maids neglected to mention to Ella that those were the negotiating rooms, where contracts for the assassins were discussed.

"This must be your first time out of the room in good condition, try your best to get used to the brightness."

The floor of the area had a special carpeting to them, light red, while the walls were bright white, bright since they somehow reflected most of the light hit on them. This made mornings hard to endure, since the eyesight is not completely used to the amount of light given to it once they step out of the room. When they finally reached the end of the hall they pressed a button and allowed it to go down, within moments the elevator started moving down towards the absolute bottom.

The grandfather, would be waiting for them there. Once the elevator opened the first thing Ella would see is her grandfather waiting for her.

Yaminoque opened his arms, allowing her to hug him entirely. He put his arms around her to let her know he was around, his eyes were looking at the maids behind her. They nodded, giving him the secret signal that everything was ok. His face turned into a smile again, and stood up to look down at his granddaughter.

"Today is your first day in school.. Oh I remember Karasus first day in school, he made friends with all the right people, I hope you turn out the same way."

What Yaminoque neglected to say, was that none of Karasus friends were alive that day. In fact, he was the one that killed them all. Karasus first official day at an assassination school was at age 12, he hoped that his granddaughter would be strong enough in four years to go inside the school of assassins. Hopefully, she'd be able to graduate by age 14 like her new father. Yaminoque had high hopes for her, and after careful examination.. he had to make sure of something, something odd. Her eyes were not normal, so there had to me some hidden reason she had them. Today she was going to school, but first he had to make sure of something.

"Ella, can you do me a favor? I need you to let me place my palm on your head, it'll let me see something from you."

His face was still smiling, but he felt like deep in her mind she would know.. or at least give a hint as to those strange eyes, and her very weak skeleton. When he looked at the graphs of her bones he couldn't believe how thin they were... he really did need to send her to school to atleast learn the basics and average that difficulty out.

Yaminoque nodded at Ella's first request, to know more about her father.. that would mean giving her stories every night of the father she now had. it would mean giving her information that Yaminoque longed to relinquish to a trusted soul, it would mean giving someone the information he wanted them to have without the need of his devil fruit.. it must have been the old age of Yaminoque, because he was actually looking forward to it.

She agreed to allow Yaminoque to put his palm on her head, she did not know that his devil fruit allowed him to reach deep into peoples memories, and copy them into his own.. without the need of pain, or even the sensation of losing memory. She would still maintain the memory, but so would Yaminoque once he would be done. After placing his palm on her head he started searching almost immediately for anything suspicious.. from the day she was born to the day where she floated up on the beach. He started looking through it all. He saw that she was not born with the weird figures on the eyes from her moments of looking at herself in the mirror, but found one memory where she just noticed them. When looking back further he saw that this all happened after she had eaten a fruit.. a very oddly shaped one. Yaminoque took less then a second to learn that she, his granddaughter, had a devil fruit inside her without his, or her, knowing so.

Once he finished he took out his hand for her to grab it. He had hoped she would grab his hand so he could walk her to school, of course he expected her to do very well in school, and was very proud of that, but he had other things to tend to.. he had to search on the information the DIA have for anything relating to devil fruit shapes. This would give him the opportunity to learn of her devil fruit, but it could take anywhere from a day.. to a year.

"Let's go Ella, I'll take you to the school."

Once their hands grabbed each other Yaminoque took his time walking through the island. The magical thing about the island, was that the ground was made of stone, and because of that most of the islands houses were made of this. The people of the island responsible for making the houses tried their best to make it look like a normal home, some went as far as making some of the houses look like wood was used to make them. Some trees seemed to be blooming here and there, which was odd for most people that would see it, since normally trees required sand. The sun was not as bright as the day she arrived, it seemed a bit more cloudy, even if it was the morning.. it almost seemed like it was about to rain.

Yaminoque moved through the island slowly, following a path made of white stone that was laid out from the tower to big town some call a city. The people there seemed very happy, kids were all running in the same direction with toys and other books. Within minutes of walking Yaminoque stopped in front of a rather big building, not like a tower.. but like most elementary schools it was made to house a minimum of 400 students. Yaminoque gave her some time to adjust to the view, many kids were playing around.. Yaminoque didn't know exactly how her childhood was, but he doubted it involved this many children, and hardly any friends.. she did mention before that she was alone. Yaminoque left her on the front of the school, letting go of her hand.

"I want you to be good in school Ella, I love you too.. and I'll tell your father how you are doing. For every good grade you get, I'll make sure to tell him. He might even hurry home faster if he's willing to come here to congratulate you."

In the school entrance a bell was heard, and the kids ran inside in a hurry, none were willing to be late. Yaminoque walked away, waving at Ella as he walked in the direction of the tower.. he knew he had his work cut out for him, all of the data he would have to go through.. but for his granddaughter, it was all worth it.

Yaminoque started walking in the direction of the tower, eventually he made it inside and walked through the dark rooms. He made his way to a hidden room, put in an unforeseen angle from sight through the straight hallway. One would see the door as black, and think it was prohibited, however it was the door across from it that had the computer. Yaminoque walked in the room and moved straight to the huge screen that looked like a wall at first glance.. he already knew this would be a very long day.

Meanwhile, the teachers around the school took a headcount to welcome all of the students on a new day, but one student was missing. One teacher, the one whom was assigned the student, immediately reported it as a red alert, rather then the usual yellow alert with other students. Three assassins were let out to look around the school drastically looking for the girl that did not show up. A few minutes go by and they have already expanded their search to the entire island. The teacher that was assigned to teach her walked around the school taking her time, knowing that Yaminoque would not leave her alone without putting her in the school himself.

Five minutes go by and she finds a little girl on the side of the school, upon looking closer she tried to sit next to her, tears seemed to be forming around her eyes.. to help the girl the teacher started fake crying as well, taking out a tissue from her pocket and blowing on it with her nose. Of course nothing came out, but her act was convincing to most kids. She subbed a little more so little Ella would buy the routine.

"I'm sorry, but I'm looking for this adorable little girl named Ella, she seems to be lost and I'm supposed to teach her today."

The women opened her eyes suddenly when Ella had told her the reason for not being in class. Her fake cries had suddenly stopped and were replaced with a very warm smile. The teacher was happy that Ella cared enough for the class that she was crying because she couldn't make it. To the teacher, she was already a great student.. which was more then she could say about the grandfather. Once reality hit her she clenched her fist in anger, a vain popping up beside her head.. Yaminoque had made a big mistake.

"Ella, don't worry, I'll take you to my classroom, we'll have a good time today." She took out her hand, hoping Ella would grab it. If she had accepted the hand, she would walk to the classroom, taking a few twists and turns inside the long hallways. When a few minutes passed by, she found the classroom labeled '216' and opened its doors, showing a class with 15 students excluding Ella. They all waved their hands and shouted the same sentence, though slightly off sync from each other.

"Hello Ella!!" It seemed like the class was taught to greet their new guests.

All of the kids smiled and laughed as she hid behind the teacher, they seemed understanding about it. All of the students in the classroom were once just like her, afraid of a simple hello. Unlike them though, she came in on her own without friends. The kids didn't understand that part, but they tried to be friendly nonetheless.

One of the desks was open, next to the women in the classroom, it seemed like the class was separated by sex.. which was understandable since at that age boys considered girls yucky.

The teacher tried to hold on to her hand, giving her the ok to face the class with pride. It was not every day that Karasu brought a daughter to the school. The teacher got to her eye level be kneeling on both of her knees, and smiling at her.

"Go take a seat, there's an open spot for you the girls laid out, you should meet them."

The teacher then walked to the front of the classroom, closing the door behind her and started to talk about addition and subtraction. The teacher though, was talking about it in a very weird way.

"If you have 30 evil people to kill, and 18 have been dealt with, then they get a reinforcement which multiplied the exact amount of people left by three, how much would you have left to kill?" The teachers name was on the board, and bellow it the 30 stick people she drew with 18 crossed out with X's. Instead of the usual scarred reaction of the kids, they started counting their fingers like it was a normal math problem, but they couldn't figure out how much was left. They sucked at word problems. The teacher's name on the board, was Mrs. Clovers, around her neck was a seven leaf clover.
