Serious: Steel Village Regroup at Nanoto Island

Desais had no way of knowing where his enemies were in the darkness of the cavern. All he knew was that he had a chance if they attacked with hand to hand combat. Desais just decided to travel through the cavern without hiding or anything. His strength from his earlier years will be his only defense and offense against those that battle him.

Luke went deeper into the cave until he felt a familiar shadow, it was Desais. The first division commander of the Steel Village and a former ally of Derge, actually more than an ally, he's his brother. Luke watched as he walked into that cave below, he was most likely going to train, like Luke was. Leaping down to Desais' level Luke drew his sword and pointed it at him. "We're going to have a little spar." Luke said more demanding than he was asking.

Desais turned his head slightly towards the man that spoke with a sword pointed at him. Desais's hand hovered over the hilt of one of his katanas. "Hmmmm sounds like something that can get my mind away from its many thoughts." Desais said as he suddenly spun around with katana in hand and slamming into the sword Luke had. As soon as his katana landed the blow, Desais whipped out his other katana and launched it towards Luke's feet. Desais could barely see Luke in the dark, but could tell how he stood and where his body placement was at just by the area his sword happened to be.

Luke unlike Desais was completely fine in the dark, the shadows where his realm and he could sense exactly how Desais' shadow shifted allowing him to "feel" what Desais did as if he was watching him. Leaping a few feet, Luke landed on Desais' sword immobilizing it. Almost the exact second he landed, Luke followed up with a flash, instantly closing the small gap between them. Luke extended his knee and attempted to use it to smash Desais in the face with it. The power of the attack was amplified by the momentum he gained from soru.

Getting knocked back Desais got dizzy, but suddenly heard the rush of his foe heading towards him. Not knowing where the attack would land, Desais suddenly spun himself around as well as his swords in his hands. Thus causing a rotation of his blades and himself. Hopefully this will stop the attack and I will know where Luke is at at the same time. Desais thought.

Luke could only block as Desais began spinning around rapidly. It was obvious by the first slash that Desais couldn't see him, but came up with this tactic to try and find him. It wasn't a bad idea for someone that had a lot of spare energy to burn. Leaping back Luke merely merged into the darkness, he himself became the shadow. He just sat there ethereal, not able to receive damage, nor was he able to inflict damage. His plan was simple, he would wait until Desais wore himself out and then strike.

Desais felt nothing for awhile and suddenly stopped. Reaching forward Desais began feeling around where he was. He felt the rocky walls around him and nothing more, except for a few boulders and stalagmites. Desais looked around but saw nothing but the darkness. Feeling that his eyes are useless to him now, Desais closed them and listened for any noise at all. I have no choice but quit using my eyes and rely on my hearing in here. Desais thought as he heard the trickle of water and tiny bugs crawling around.

Once Desais had stopped moving it was pointless to keep up the tactic. Luke emerged from the shadows a good six feet behind Desais. Picking up a rock he chucked it to Desais' right causing it to land in a shallow pool of water with a thud. Leaping towards the rock with a slight delay, Luke was hoping to catch Desais from the side if he went to attack or investigate the sound. "Blade Cannon" Luke slashed his sword where he predicted Desais would likely be if he went after the rock.

Suddenly, hearing the rock, Desais gripped both swords across each other and rushed the spot with soru speeds. Getting close to the spot where Desais heard the noise, he sliced the two swords with strong force behind them. This should work especially since im using Rokushik along with my katanas Desais thought as he waited for a sound of a hit or something.

Luke's sword clashed with one of Desais' from the side. Sure the force was placed at an awkward position, so it would likely have broken the arm of anyone other than the very fighter he was against. This was a let down, not only did it give Desais, Luke's location it also stopped the attack. This was going to be an interesting battle if this kind of thing kept up. Tactics that normal fighters wouldn't be able to think of without year of battle experience. It was obvious these two were not so ordinary. Leaping back, Luke went into a defensive position before merging once again with the shadows. In order to hit Luke it would take a quick session of attacking and blocking.

Benjamin took the young man into the ship and showed him where the doctors prepared the rumble-balls Ben was currently using. They were constantly experimenting on them to make the transformations as strong as possible one the first shot. "Well the thing is, these transformations us zoan have, they're a natural part of our fruits. These rumble-balls just allow us to unlock them quicker or in some case where we wouldn't have been able to at all. However this comes with a bit of a risk. Some the transformations aren't always stable." the giant said picking up on the rumble-balls. He lead the hyena out of the ship and to a clearing. Opening his hand he held out the ball. "Try it and see what happens. Sometimes we can get up to three transformations at once, but usually we only get one at a time." Ben said.

There he is! Desais thought as he followed up his attack with a roundhouse kick up high, towards what Desais hoped to be his head. Not slowing down, Desais sent his other leg following close behind, hoping to catch Luke right after the hit so that he wouldnt be able to get away quick enough from the attack that would soon follow.

Luke bent backwards avoiding the first attack while still merging into the shadow. However the next secession of attacks force him to quick the process and leap back to avoid being hit. This was bad, he had figured out Luke's weaknesses very quickly. Luke sent and furry of arc shaped airblade at Desais before attempting to once again merge with the shadows. If Desais used his normal means he would likely arrive to late to stop Luke.

Shit that didnt work....But it sounds like he is still not too far off. Desais thought as he suddenly heard what appeared to be airblades rushing towards him. Oh man this isnt good, but I cant stop now, not when he's right there! Desais thought with frustration. Then he quickly stood still, put his swords away, and rushed to the ground quickly with palms slamming against the cave floor. Going Soru speeds Desais quickly pulled his katanas out again but layered the blade of them both in air as he began swinging them around in circles causing the airblades to stop rushing forward. But that wasnt the end of the attack when suddenly the ground began shaking as bone spikes arose from the ground rushing in the direction of Luke at a fast rate. Hopefully this gets him.

Calupa grabbed the rumble ball gently and put it in his mouth, he slowly chewed and as soon as he swallowed he felt different he was phasing in and out from his hyena hybrid to human form, he felt it harder to breath and he fell to his knees and he felt like something was choking him and along with that he had a bitter taste in his mouth, he got up and began to bark and sonic waves blasted through the air. "Woah so this is the power the rumble balls give you!" Calupa was amazed as he looked at his paws and felt power surging through them.

"Awe shit." Luke muttered as the bone spikes began to shoot through the floor towards him. The assassin leaped up and spun so his feet hit the ceiling, he drove his sword into the rock so he could stay up and not fall back onto the spikes. He slowly began to merge with the shadow once again, he hoped that the bones rising would have masked the sound of his sword being stabbed into the rocks.

Ben covered his sensitive ears quickly once the sonic blasts began shooting form the zoan's mouth. This was a strange ability for a zoan type creature. However its not the most far-fetched he's seen before. It kind of made sense with the cackling that the hyenas tended it do. "Sigh, we've got another big mouth on the crew." the giant complained about another sound user.

Calupa sighed "Sorry about that I think the hyena took over me so how long do these hidden abilities last, Calupa said. Calupa thought of how Roberto was doing on the volcano, Calupa accidentally began to bark again.

Roberto was being attacked by a old hermit and Roberto was quickly evading his staff but Roberto got hit in the center and was sent flying over the ledge luckily he grabbed a loose rock and then lifted himself up Roberto felt like it was snowing even though it was boiling hot, Roberto concentrated and soon his leg got to a temprature lower than his usual Danca do Frio Anjo, "Danca Do Frio Anjo: Seta Tiro!" Roberto's hit the man in the center sending him plummeting off the volcano and back down to the earth

Hmmmm I wonder if that struck Luke or not. Desais wondered as he walked forward slowly with his katanas at the ready. Desais walked up to the spikes and felt them upon his fingertips. As he felt the spikes, Desais tried to feel whether or not there was an impalement or if Luke had wedged himself out of the way of the spikes and was hanging onto them. Unfortunately, Desais didnt feel Luke anywhere within the spiked forest. Desais then backed up slightly from the bone forest and readied his sword in an X form across his body. Then he swung the swords sending a Rokushik blast through the bone forest and up above it as well. If he is in there or not, I will know my answer for sure after this attack hits. Desais thought as the blast cut in between each bone and above it all.

With Desais practically underneath him he really didn't need to merge and thus stopped. He pulled out his blade and used flash to increase his speed as he leaped at Desais. Luke spun around slashing downward at Desais. Luke was above and slightly behind Desais, this allowed him the chance to strike Desais without much of a chance of being seen.

The attack got Desais off guard and enabled a the sword to go into Desais. Luckily for Desais, he turned on his bone armor under his skin just as the blade stuck in. Then he made the bone go over the sword, causing the blade to be stuck into him and Luke within his slashing range. Desais gritted his teeth and tensed up sending bone spikes piercing out of his back and towards Luke at Soru speeds.

Luke blocked the spike using the bone in his left arm as a shield. The force pushed him back and cracked the bone, however it was now checkmate. Using his arm to push on the spike, Luke kept Desais pinned against the wall. Pressing a small button he revealed his hidden blade coated with seastone. The moment the seastone touched Desais, his bone armor would disappear allowing the blade to actually hit Desais if he didn't somehow avoid it.

Desais couldnt help but open his eyes as he got pinned to the wall. He turned his head and saw the blade with the sea salt water on it. Desais's heart raced as he saw it. Nothing appeared in his mind on how to escape this other than shear force. Desais gripped his katanas tightly as he suddenly unleashed a flurry of spikes rushing out of his body towards Luke. Just as Desais launched the spikes he quickly spun around using Rokushik and sliced one blade towards his neck and the other towards his waste. Desais also sharpened the blades with bone and Rokushik

Luke was surprised when his attack failed, this wasn't something had predicted. His spikes pushed Luke back, further damaging his arm. Luke had no choice but to retreat backwards once again. He didn't have his sword to defend against the airblades anymore, so he had to improvise and use the small hidden blade. It was effective enough to the point Luke took little damage from the airblade. However he wasn't in the best of positions anymore. Luke leaped back and fired a shot from his hidden pistol before beginning the process of merging with the shadows once again.

Desais saw Luke escape and suddenly disappear. Thats when he heard a gunfire. Desais quickly jumped towards the area of fire, slice the bullet in half, and followed up with a horizontal air slice towards the direction the bullet came from. After the attack Desais landed on the ground and pulled the sword out of himself. Hmmm hiding in the darkness again huh. Desais thought as he placed Lukes sword at his side and re-closed his eyes. Yet again just listening around.

Luke pulled out one of his daggers and used it to cut the airslash, causing its two halves to hit the wall behind him. Even while blocking he continued to merge with the shadow. Just before he merged, he threw a small knife at Desais. An instant later another knife from the right, and then one from the left, then from behind, and above. In all Luke partially emerged from the darkness and threw ten knives, none of which would have actually hit Desais as long as he held still.

Desais heard the air blast strike the wall and heard nothing more Hmmmm I wonder whrre he could be? Desais thought as he suddenly heard ten sharp blades all stick into the ground around him. It appears Luke has more weaponry than I thought Desais thought as he sat down and listened extremely carefully to his surroundings.
