GOFF: Melvin Faust vs Tamako Sawada

During a dark night in a small city, Melvin Faust, a member of Cipher Pol 9, a secret assassination unit of the World Government, is moving through the city in order to search for his next target. Apparently, the target is a skypiean woman who is working as a pirate. Melvin's mission is simple. He has to find her and eliminate her. After searching for her for quite a while, Melvin finally managed to track her. And now, the man is walking under the full moon towards the woman's direction in order to eliminate her existence.

Tamako's fists were already wearing her gloves and her arms, hands, feet, and legs were already on fire. She looked over to her tracker. He had been following her for so long that she figured that it might as well be a good idea to deal with this problem right on.

Looking over at him, she flew up and overhead and slammed her flame-covered heal right down at him. The attack was meant to take him off guard, as her speed had already burned away much of the air resistance and was giving her far greater speed, not to mention the thrust from her gloves adding to the speed.

If her opponent managed to dodge her first attack, she would simply follow up by moving with the momentum and continuing with a second hammer kick to wherever he would dodge to. Being in the air allowed for that kind of maneuverability.

"Coming to me, huh?" Melvin said with an emotionless voice as he looked at the woman that flew and charged towards him in an attempt to strike him. Apparently, the woman did not know the guy she was messing with... Melvin had many tricks under his sleeves and he would use all of them if it was necessary.

As the woman's fire enhanced attack was about to strike him, the man stood still at his position while saying "Tekkai!" guarding himself from the attack with his body and preventing the blunt damage from the move. The fire, however, burnt his clothes and reached a part of skin but that was something he was not worrying about for a strange reason while also the strength of the heat power made his skin dent. Even if the skin was dented, though, with his powerful Tekkai he blocked most of the damage from the physical strike, leaving himself only with the damage from the fire.

"For a physical attack that was not quite strong for me, but this fire was something... It even made my skin slightly dent." Melvin said as he looked at the burnt part of his body. "Now, let me show you something..." he said with a still emotionless look on his face as he jumped on the air towards the woman's direction and moved his hand forward with his index finger pointing towards her in an attempt to impale her. "Shigan!" he said as he performed the attack.

Tamako saw her initial strike do nothing but burn some of his body. He seemed pretty sure that she couldn't damage him, so she figured she might as well get SERIOUS.

Covering her entire body in fire, she moved towards her target and let the finger go right into her shoulder. She then swung her body over and proceeded to wrap her person into an arm-bar, locking his arm's movements and burning it down to ashes at the same time.

"Oh my god, it burns." Melvin said with an emotionless voice once again as the woman allowed him to pierce through her body, only to increase her heat and start burning him to cause him damage. As the time passed, Melvin could feel his body burning more and more. His arm was quickly burnt and the majority of his skin had turned to ashes, leaving only a few pieces of his skin on it and many of his bones had turned to black because of the heat. If he kept his arm on the girl more, he would risk losing it. It was not a good choice to do so and so he pulled his arm away by using a great amount of his strength and finally landed on the ground.

That arm of his... It was aching a lot... That fire had caused him so much damage... How could a girl be that strong? It was something that really surprised the agent... Despite that, though, Melvin had a way to deal with that. He wanted to play a little bit more with Tamako before he would show his true colors in the battle.

"You are quite strong." he said. "You burnt the skin of my arm and made my body dent... I really admire you for that." he noted as he stretched himself and placed his other arm over the burnt arm to cool it down. That fire was still burning him... His bones were not causing him much pain as they were just heated enough. His skin, though, was aching terribly...

Without giving him enough time to rest from her last bout, Tamako sent a whip of fire at him with a swing of her arm and began flying around him. Her speed and heat began to pick up as she surrounded him in a tower of roaring fire. This was her latest technique, a move that required no contact and no room to move.

As she spun, she would decrease the radius of the tower, burning away more and more of the surrounding oxygen and working like a microwave (Despite neither of them knowing what one is), cooking every exposed portion of his body at once, though the time it took was much longer.

By the time she collapsed outside from hunger, she had left the tower an inch away from her target, with zero exposed oxygen inside. She had to work her way over to one of the abandoned food stands that had been left out of fear of their ensuing battle.

Grabbing a plate of Yakisoba, she began to dig in while keeping an eye on the dying flames.

"Wow, it started becoming hard to breathe!" Melvin noted with an emotionless look on his face and an emotionless voice before he started kicking the ground rapidly while the woman was using her technique. By kicking the ground, the man was apparently using his Soru technique. However, that was not the only thing he was doing. While kicking the ground, the man also used his mastered tekkai on his feet to enhance their power greatly. Soon afterwards, the man disappeared from his spot and he moved underground where he could breathe, probably surprising the woman. "Sokkai." Melvin said as he started drilling the ground extremely fast and he went to a place where he could breathe, disappearing from the woman's pressence.

Tamako finished her third plate of Yakisoba and could feel her stomach fill right back up. Her weakness was that her power used the energy in her body, so she needed to eat to refill that energy, but it also determined on how much determination she had to win.

Looking over her shoulder, she looked over at the smoldering tower of flames as they finally ended and nearly threw up when she saw what was there. Her opponent had burrowed underground to avoid her attack. So to avoid a sneak attack, she used her thrusting power to fly up overhead to prepare for a sneak attack.

Melvin had not only drilled the ground. Apparently, the agent of the CP9 had figured a way to move through it with great ease. As a result, as the woman prepared her next attack at the spot where Melvin got underground, Melvin got out from a different position. He stared at the woman with a smile on his face... Something weird was going on. All the damage he had received on his skin seemed to be fixed. His dented skin had taken the form of normal skin and his burnt arm was back to normal. Something very weird was going on.

"Surprised to see me, huh?" Melvin said with an emotionless voice. "Shigan - Air!" he continued saying and he used his Shigan on the air to launch an air bullet towards Tamako in order to impale her body.

She wasn't expecting him to attack from where he was, but she wasn't bothered by his sneak attack. The air bullet was made out of air, so the rising air currents around her body, made from the heat over her body, caused an updraft that carried the air bullet up and over her body.

She WAS surprised when she saw that his body was fully healed, she she sent out another whip of fire at him. she needed to formulate another plan, so she needed to keep him underground long enough to do so. Any shock waves he sends her way will be re-directed, so she just had to keep him from going up and after her.
