Melvin is a medium sized man. He is not very tall, but he is not short either. He heights around 1.83 meters. As for his weight, he weighs 100 kilograms, with the majority being pure muscle. Despite the fact that he weighs so much, though, he looks very slim. The reason is simple. Melvin has a very peculiar body structure. All of his body parts, including his bones and his muscles are extremely dense, much more dense than they should originally be. As a result, he weighs a lot more than he looks and he has a dense body with great physical endurance. His chest is as hard as steel and he has six packs that are as hard as steel as well. He has big muscle arms and he has trained his legs so much to the point that they are very powerful and look very much trained. As for scars, Melvin does not have any scars on his body, although he has received many times slash attacks on it. The reason why he does not have any scars is unexplained by him up until now.
As for his face, Melvin has medium length, straight white hair that reach his shoulder. He has light blue eyes and his eyes show a murderous intent at any times, even if he does not really have any bad intentions. He has a slim mouth and light grey eyebrows. As for his chin, he has a line on it, right below his mouth. His face is always clean. The only parts that do not look good on Melvin's face-head are his ears which are slightly bigger than they should be to form a perfectly matched face. However, his ears are hiding behind his hair, so he still looks charming enough and not ugly.
Finally, as for his clothing, Melvin wears black pants and black shoes. On the upper part of his body he wears a black shirt with a red tie and a long red coat that has the same red color as the tie. He also wears deep black biker gloves. He does not wear any accessories at all because of the simple fact that he does not like them.
History: A trained spy and assassin from a very young age, Melvin is one of the greatest assassins of the World Government. During his early years in Enies Lobby where he grew up with his parents, Melvin was taken in by the World Government and he received training to become a user of the Rokushiki so that he would join their rankings. The reason why he was taken in was not because he was a parent. The World Government had notice from early that Melvin had a uniquely dense body and so they took him to train him to the point that he would take advantage of that body. And that was how things started for Melvin...
For many years, Melvin was training over Rokushiki. Apparently, from very early, Melvin showed that he had a mastery over a certain technique and that was none other than Tekkai. Because of the fact that he had a naturally dense body, he easily managed to master the technique and not only that, but he managed to bring it to a new level as well. Melvin showed the unique power of being able to move his body while using his Tekkai and that was a very interesting power that made him a more prominent member than he originally was. Also, during those 20 years of training he received, Melvin managed to master the Soru and the Shigan techniques and he received a little bit of knowledge over the other 3 techniques. However, even if he knows how to use them, he is not good enough at them and so he does not do so. He is still training them, though, in order to master them one day.
From the age of 20, Melvin was dispatched in many different Blues. He has been in West Blue, East Blue, North Blue and finally the South Blue were he performed a mission for the last 7 years. Rumors say that during that time he ate a Devil Fruit, but that is unconfirmed by Melvin. And now, Melvin has returned back to the Grand Line in Enies Lobby to receive his new mission as a member of his new squad: The Cipher Pol 9.
During his time in CP9, Melvin proved himself to be a valuable member. As a result, after the end of the Anubis War he was promoted to the director position of CP9 and he now serves as the leader of the faction.
Personality: Melvin is a ruthless believer of Absolute Justice. He is the kind of person who believes that people can be sacrificed to secure Justice. He does not care whether he sacrifices his fellow comrades in his mission as long as he does his job perfectly. Also, he hates those who abandon their posts. He is a person who likes talking a lot and he likes giving speeches about justice. During his speeches, many things he might tell can be lies and only a few of them true things. If somebody calls himself a pirate, Melvin will not show any mercy for him and he will ruthlessly execute him. Also, he is quite manipulative. He does not hesitate to manipulate even his own subordinates in order to succeed in his missions to the point that he might give them out while he does his job in secret. That can be clearly seen from the fact that he shows no mercy to his fellow comrades and that he does not hesitate to sacrifice them for the sake of justice. Moreover, Melvin likes training himself. He enjoys training himself and he wants to master all of the six Rokushiki movements. He happens to have a dislike for lazy people who do not train themselves. He will even give out any lazy comrades to his higher ups because of the fact that they are not doing their job well. That makes him quite detestable to most people. With a few words, Melvin is the kind of guy whom most people call a b@stard.
Also, Melvin has a dislike for sea water.

Dense Body: Melvin was born with a peculiar body that was very dense. He has a very dense body and so he happens to possess excellent physical endurance. As the body is very dense, the impact of an attack on it is much weaker than usually, making him a physical fortress. Also, his muscles are also more dense giving extra power to his punches and his physical attacks.

Tekkai Mastery/Tekkai Kenpo: Melvin's Tekkai is one of the greatest Tekkais of the Grand Line. Melvin has mastered his Tekkai to the point that not only it is very strong, but also he can even move while using it. This gives him a great advantage in battles as he can use his Tekkai to strengthen his attacks and deal fatal blows.

Soru Expert: Melvin also knows how to perform the Soru technique and he is good at it. He can rapidly kick his legs on the ground and use Soru in order to run with super human speed, easily.

Shigan Expert: Melvin's third Rokushiki technique that he has learned the Shigan to the point that he can use it pretty easily. He can move his fingers to easily pierce through the human body, as if they are bullets.

Rankyaku Practitioner: Melvin's fourth and final Rokushiki technique is his Rankyaku. Rankyaku is the weakest technique of the four techniques that Melvin can perform. However, he has found various ways to add it in his battling style.
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): -
Tekkai: Melvin bases off his battling style on his Tekkai. By using Tekkai, Melvin makes his excellent physical endurance even greater. By hardening his already hard body, he gets the endurance of a whole fortress. Normal punches are unable to damage him and swords up to iron break if they are crushed on his Tekkai with great impact (Diamond or Sea Stone Swords can still cut him. Also, sword attacks that can cut steel can still cut him, but the wound is not going to be very deep). Air slashes cause him scratches, rather than injuries. However, elemental attacks cannot be avoided with his Tekkai. Apparently, if he is hit with fire, he will feel the heat and get burnt, if he is hit with ice he will feel the chill and get frozen and if he is hit with venom he will get poisoned.

Soru: Melvin has a mastery over Soru, as well. He can rapidly kick the ground to move with super human speeds easily.

Shigan: Melvin has a mastery over Shigan, too. He can easily pierce through the human body with his fingers, as if they are bullets.

Shikai: A variation of Shigan that increases its strength greatly. By using his Tekkai on the finger that is going to use Shigan, Melvin makes it denser to the point that it is much more powerful than a regular Shigan.

Sokai: A variaton of Soru. By using his Tekkai while he rapidly kicks the ground, Melvin makes his legs denser to the point that he starts drilling the ground while kicking it. While underground, he can use his Sokai to drill and move with ease.

Shigan - Air: A variation of Shigan. By using Shigan on the air, Melvin launches an air bullet towards his enemies. This is an easy attack to perform, so this attack can also be used by the user to launch a barrage of air bullets towards his enemies.

Shigan Yon: A variation of Shigan. Melvin uses shigan with all of his fingers except from his thumb.

Shikai Yon: A variation of Shigan Yon. Melvin uses shigan with all of his fingers except from his thumb, while also using Tekkai to enhance their power.

Rankyaku: Melvin swings his leg swiftly and launches an air blade towards his enemy. This attack can be performed in the form of barrage attacks.

Rankyaku - Gairo: Melvin swings both legs swiftly and launches air blades that clear the path in front of him and make it easier for him to move around the area.

Rankyaku - Deba: Melvin swings his leg swiftly and slightly, launching a shorter and weaker Rankyaku than the usual one but three times faster than it. This attack can be performed in the form of barrages.
