The Matchlock Vigilantes part five

Hikari Did not know what to say to him. "Good morning Sawada" she started trying to show him that she wasn't offended by the clear accident

Sawads simplylet her pass then quickly exited, that had ended well enugh but Sawada's mind raced for a posible reason for closing the door, none came up. As they made there was down to the deck it must have looked suspisios, Hikari was still red and it was obvious SOMETHING had happaned. Nagi jumped on Hikari as allways "... onee-chan is all exited..."

"Ummm no im not nagi" she said flushing a deeper shade of red she hoped that no one would notice.

Nagi listned close for a moment "were you... running or something? Onee-chan's hartbeat is very fast, and her body is giving off more heat than normal are you SURE nothing happaned, usualy people are like this whaen they...." Sano looked over "Nagi, dont say such perverted things" no one had expected her to be anything but complealty innocent "that's just not possible" She laughed softly "but it is Sano-kun their colors are so similar..."

"N... no nagi you got it all wrong Sawada just surprised me thats all, nothing like that happened." she blushed again she hated that when ever she got embarrassed she would blush hopelessly. I couldn't be helped she turned to look at Sawada for back up.

"I follow busibo((samuri code of honor)), so that IS impossible" Nagi squesed Hikari tighter "so Nagi-chan was wrong for once, oh well...." Sano spoke up, "we will be heading in to some ice islands soon, just though you should know" Jace burst through another hatch with some blankets "this was all Icould find, we need to make something out of these"

Hikari was eager to start the work. "What can i do, Sano?" she said Already thinking about the tasks at hand, insulating the Bedrooms so they could sleep with out freezing to death. But He would most likely give her a job that requires flying like fixing the sails or somthing.

The cold hit when they were only half done, the snow fell harsh and heavy against the worn wood of their ship, soon they ran aground in frozen water, Nagi could melt ice, that was no problem. "this place just isnt ready! we need to come back when we have the supplies!" Sano called amongst the blizzard winds. As they left their ship they began to feel the effects of the cold, they bundled up as best they could with the rags they had found, and walked farward towards a town, they needed cloths, and money but they DESPATELY needed warmth.

Hikari wasn't bothered by the cold, she was used to it, it was vary cold in the the mountains where she grew up. but the snow did bother her, when the snow was heavy like this it was vary hard to fly, the snow would collect on her wings and weigh her down. knowing that she couldn't fly was vary unnerving. Before they got in to town she had folded wings against her back under a cloak she found on the ship. When they walked in town they got a lot of strange looks. the locals must have not been used to visitors.

Sano spoke to one of them "we are in need of a place to stay, we can work it off but have no money in there anyone, any family that can take us in?" Only an old man stood before them "you will find no such family here samurai, best be on your way" he spoke to Sawada for some odd reason, as if Sano was speaking on his behalf, they saw that it was a Japanese themed island. "you can't be serious, it must be at lest ten degrees below zero, where else are we suppose to go?" The Old man seemed only to want to get outsiders away, time was short "best be on your way" he said walking back in to his home 'what was that all about?" Jace was down right enraged "something must be up around here" sano said sending Hayato to scout the area, the windows were all boarded up yet there were clearly people inside, this was beyond suspicious. "I say we stay here anyway, that old guys full of crap" "he meant business..." Nagi moved closer to Sano "Sano-kuuun Nagi-chan is colllld" Hayato returned at Soru speed and communicated a message of distress to Sano, it was once code that all the pirates were taken care of on a ship, but now it had a new meaning "there... are corpses all around this village, in every direction, there has been something a battle... no a massacre"

"What?" Hikari said shocked "Did the Village people commit it, or are the the survivors?" Hikari was getting angry, massacres hit pretty close to home for her. She was thinking about going to the old man and trying to reason with him. She was reminded an old Japanese myth about a angel who wondered around from town to town looking like a beggar, she would ask for a place o stay, and when people refused her she would curse them, maybe she could trick someone, if necessary.

"we don't know, the bodies look to be soldiers, or navy of some kind, people with weapons definitely, Hayato isn't to sure, we should definitely stick around, some thing's going on.... but we can't stay out here" Nagi shivered uncomfortably, cold was definitly NOT good for her frail body. Sawada had seen something "That old man, had a crest on his robes.... he was a samurai"

"We better find a place to stay" Hikari said

Then from the distance a large braged came in to the twon, with the crest of the WORLD NOBLES "disperse scum!" called a gaurd at them, not in shape to fight Sano led them behind a house, the same old man approched them "ah lord Naryuki wellcome to our village, please take everything you need" no one stood up to the world nobles, no one.

Hikari didn't like this one bit, they had corruption written all over there faces.

As time passed the nobles attention was drawn away by convorastion when "NOW!" was shouted and assassins broke out from all directions

Assassins and guards were in a large scale battle now, swords and cungs lighting up the darkening sky. "what should we do?" Sano stood up "protect the nobe!" the world nobes were internatioanly known for ther creulty and evil deeds "what? WHY?"

"Yes Why Indeed?" Hikari said

"we havent seen him do anything wrong, even if he is a criminal, we have no proof" Sano had jsut invented innocent untill proven guilty. "Now, lets go!"

"Fine" Hikari said as she drew her swords and flapped her wings and launched her self in the air and dived down in front of the noble. A assassin was about kill him he had his sword raised up over his head and was just about to bring down when, *CLANG* Hikari stood in front of the noble. She rotated her sword around sharply and the sword flew out of his hands then she kicked him and flew back.

Sano truned as he jumped fring allong the nearest ark in the circle of assassins closing in. This gave the others an oportunity to get through. Sano was burning brigdes here, important ones, if they saved to noble he would probubly arrest them, now that they had helped him the assassins would be mad.

this thread has ended just after they set sail, forget the island crap okay?
