The Matchlock Vigilantes part five

as they moved further in to the open ocean many of them began to sleep

Hikari was vary tired and it was showing but She could not sleep and keep them unnoticed at the same time. Sano walked over to sit next to her "Sano, . . . I ... I just wanted to thank you for your kindness, and i would like to formaly join join your crew, if thats alright?" she said

Sano turned and for the first time since she had met him, smiled. "Nagi seems to get allong with you, she'd be sad if you left" Sano himself was not as teired as Hikari but still considerably tired. Nagi was still bouncing off the walls cheerfull, esspechaly now that they were out. She was like a child. Nagi was the one thing that stood out the most in their crew

"Thank you" Hikari was happy about having a real purpose something she hadn't had for a while. She was worried about jace she didn't want him to hate her not that she blamed him what she did was unforgivable then sano looked at her and the look he give her told her he could guess what she was concerned about

Sano put his hands behind his head and sighed "it will be a little while before they come around, but we come from all walks of life around here, I came from the navy, and money, Jace was a pirate, Sawada was a wandering swordsmen and Nagi was a street urchin at 16, we can adjust" just then Nagi ploped down on her stomach on to both their laps "this place is bigger Sano-kun, I allmost got lost" she rolled over on them "Onee-chan... you have a diffrent color than everyone, but its most like Sawada-nii's color"

"Color?" Hikari was confused, she had said something about this early in the cell was she talking about hair color? skin color?

Nagi's smile widened "I cant see, you allready knew that but when I hug people I can feel them, their hart beats, there breathing, there boddy heat, and their color, Sano-kun's color is like my color, both of them are faint and change shade with other peoples, receptive. Jace-chan and Sawada-nii have opposite colors, Jace-chan's is so intense and bright Sawada-nii's and yours are just as intense but calm and darker, you are tranqual, but not as much as Sawada-nii, he dosnt have colors swerling around inside like you do" there was so much truth in that nonsense, Nagi was able to "see" so much it was scairy

"Sano keeping the invisibility u for so long is wiping me out, is it necessary to keep doing it or can i go sleep?" Hikari asked

Sano felt kind of gulty keeping her up "oh no its fine, just pick out a room" Nagi stayed glued to her as she stood up "Onee-chan...." she looked over "yes?" "Jace-nii will come around, dont be say okay" She let go of her and landed on Sano, it looked like it hurt but he didnt say anything. Hayato was wide awake so he would have the first watch, he was more than capable of it to, he used to do it when he was in the navy. "Good niiiite" she said waving her harm and smiling as much as she could

"Good night" Hikari smiled and she went to go pick a room she found one that was in fair shape but no door and undressed to her undergarments and got in to the bed laying on her stomach, and resting her head on her arm and quickly went to sleep.

=== ONE NIGHT PASSED ===

Sano woke up in a seemingly good mood, but was still half assleep when Nagi fell on to him "Ohayo Sano-kun!" this was how he had gotten up for the past month "N-Nagi!" he began confused, he had began to assosiate that annoying way to wake up with prison. Nagi ploped off of him, "Sano-kun must have been tired, he never sleeps this late" Sano looked around, it must have been around ten, he usualy woke up at six. "I allready woke everyone else up" she hoped off the bed and fumbled to the door. Sano began to get dressed, they had been up at four in the moruning last night. He tied his tie, it was good to be in a sute again, he did not know why he allways wore one, perhaps he wore a black sute to distance himself fron the navy and pirates, or maybe to look more important than he actualy felt, he didnt know. Sano stumbled in to the door of the main room to see everyone besides Hikari was there, he sat down "so, whats up?" he said still half asleep

Sawada and Jace were eating.... something. Nagi was out hearing to ocean on the deck, "so, whats the plan?" Sano slumped in his chair "not sure really, the devil bones have disappeared right off the map, no doubt living it up somewhere with all that money" Sawada sat upright "we need to get organized, in a one on one fight none of us would have lost, together we fall to pieces" Sano was their strategy man "I'll think of something, but we are nearing the grand line now, we need supplys. Plus we will be moving in to a snow island chain soon" Jace intrupted him "snow islands? I love those things, grew up on one myself, Drum Island" Sano studdyed their map, it had came with the otherwise totaly empty ship, they needed a cook but they had no money to buy food so what good was one? they might be at these artick islands for a while, in his head Sano tryed to think of a way to get money.

As time passed Sano slipped in to a fully awake state and the day's sailing duties occupied them all, sailing on the freedom had been so very easy, a simple soru took them so far so quickly, real sailing was a chore with such a small crew. "Is that one STILL asleep?" Sano heard form the other end of the mast "Nagi! why dont you wake her up?" Nagi was sitting on the Deck in a half nap "Nagi-chan doesn't want to, that's mean to Onee-chan" "WHAT? you woke all of US up early whats the difference!?!" Nagi ignored him, but Sawada didn't "what is it with you? just drop it" the two began to argue "whats with YOU have you just decided to role with this two? Am I the only one who hasn't abandoned reason?" "YES bean sprout you are" "Bean sprout? what the h3ll kind of name is THAT Sano was busy with some ropes, well more like tangled in them "Will you two stop fighting for five seconds!"

((why dont YOU try keeping a ship invisible for 12 hours straight when you haven't used your devil fruit in a mouth, some one should say that to him))

Nagi used her power to make the knots untie "serisuly we arrnt going to get through this if you are at eachother's throughts all the time!" Nagi had been using her power on parts of the ship to make it work but it looked like she was not doing anything. "it's going to get cold soon" they had no navigator but anyone could tell that much. Nagi allways wore a childish sweater sevral sizes to big for her, Jace had a fur cote on but Sano and Hikari wore only sutes and Sawada's robes were light. "we need to get ready"

Jace went up to the crows nest to keep watch and Sano was at the helm for the time being "we do need her up before the cold comes, do you mind?" Sawada didn't really care, he made his way upstairs to the main barracks, he passed the doors, "lets see, my room, the captain's, bean sprouts room, Nagi.... ah here we go" he opened the door to see hikari in her underwear somewhat awake "Oh!" she said and turned red, her wings bent forward and covered most of her Sawada rush out and closed the door behind him slightly shaken.

Hikari was shocked at the turn of events that just occurred and quickly dressed and walked out of her room to find Sawada standing by her door.

Sawada had no idea why he had closed the door, that wasnt like him. They stood there for what seemed like forever, both unsure of how to react, more suprised than nervious Sawada tryed to figure out how to react without her seeing that he was, things were sudenly so much more complicated in that one second.
