| "Pistols at dawn" would be the usual expression. Unfortunately, Kib did not have a pistol. Then again, his opponent did not seem to bear a holster either, though it was hard to see with this lighting and this distance. One could have seen the inquisitive crowds peering from the wooden frames of bar windows were it not for the fact that the place was deserted. Now only tumbleweed observed their duel.
Kib planted his hands together, as if he were a monk preparing for prayer. Then he took a step forward, and broke into a run, bearing the teeth of hyenas on his palms, charging at his opponent.

| Iah wasn't sure why he was here, I mean, afterall, he should be with Alice, like always, or maybe even with Sapphire, but no, he was know stuck in this weird place, which also looked deserted; with a guy who was charging to him. Iah wasn't really interested in fighting, but the other guy seemed to be so, so he had no other option but to fight, even if he didn't feel like it; Iah was Alice's brother, so it was expected that he was lazy.
Iah closed his eyes for a second, focussing in the proteins in his nails, making them longer and also strong, hard to break by anything. Then he opened his eyes again and stood in fighting stance, he strengthens the muscles of his limbs, increasing their strength with more ease so that he gains more physical strength. |

| He wasn't moving, and Kib was gathering momentum. He glanced at the ground, needed something uneven, something that angled towards his opponent. He cartwheeled as he approached, planting a set of primate teeth on the conveniently protruding rock. Then he jumped over his opponent, hopefully before he could figure out what was going on. The set of chimpanzee teeth on the rock displayed an almost disturbing rictus grin.
Kib turned in the air, holding his arms out at the sides, facing the teeth on his palms towards his opponent. "Ivory Spear." He said as he angled his actual face toward his opponent. He snapped each of the four sets of teeth shut with overwhelming force, sending three spears of compressed air toward Iah's lower back and one toward his face. Kib fell, ensuring he would evade the chimpanzee toothrow's attack.

| When the enemy jumped over Iah, he knew, by assassin instincts, that something was going on, he had to move, now. Iah used soru and moved 6 meters away from his opponent, glaring at him he noticed teeth fly across the space he had been in, if he hadn't moved, he would've been impaled by those teeth things that appear to be spears. Now, Iah knew very well that this wasn't life return, so the only option was that his opponent was a devil fruit user; he was already in disadvantage, but he knew fully well that devil fruits weren't invincible, he just had to think hard in order to defeat him.
Using Soru he moved towards Kib, Iah kicks the air using the rokushiki technique known as Rankyaku, sending an air blade towards Kib, if he was hit by this he would be cut deeply, at least from where he was. If he moved backwards and was hit, it would be just a minor cut and it would be fine, if he completely evaded the attack, Iah would need to find another way to attack him. |

| His opponent could clearly move fast when he wanted to. Still, the turn gave away his position, and a counterattack was inevitable. He sprung to the side from his crouched position, crashing into the wall of a nearby wooden building like a bowling ball. The air blade only cut sand as Kib rolled back to his feet. The primate teeth in the rock winked out of existence, as did the ones in his palms. He swept his hand on the wall opposite of the one he had broken through, planting teeth side by side while crouching under their predictable lanes of attack.
The second his opponent came in, he would face a nasty surprise.
