| Name: Gerald Blister
Age: 37
Bounty: 40,000,000
Species: Conga Eel Fishman
Occupation: Assasin/ Navigator/ Priest
Allegiance: Any criminal employer, though occasionly assists free of charge.
Home Village/Ocean: Fishman Island, Grandline
Appearance: Gerald stands at six foot eight inches, though a foot of his height is due to his incredibly long neck, which leads up to his eel- like head with his odd weary face, which has starling bright blue eyes, beastly nostrils and a maw filled with small sharp teeth. He has a rather tonned yet quite lythe body frame, one much sutied to an assassin, with rather slender hands, which are partly hidden by some fingerless gloves with metal studs on each knuckle. Other clothing Gerald usualy wears is a millitary flak jacket over a simple dark blue t-shirt, along with some black cargo trousers, and a pair of thick leather boots, as well as a knife belt through his trouser loops, a small sheath strapped to his back holding a machette, and some string round his neck with a Seasayer religous symbol, a fish skull with a carving of a trident on it's forehead, called a 'Spirit Gourd'
History: Ever since childhood, Gerald had always been devout to his religion, the druidic ways of the Seasayer, a religion where the diety Sister Sea is worshipped and with the common belife that all life taken can only be redemed with burial service at sea or at the very least, some sea salt sprinkled on the corpse with a solemn prayer, be they animal, human or fishman, that all sea creatures are to be treated as equals, and that balance in nature is vital, as well as having daily prayers, religous holidays, a religous symbol of a fish skull with a trident carved into it, and being forbidden from eating any creature from the sea. After years of continuing this religions traditions well into his adolence years, Gerald became a priest at the local Seasayer temple, holding services until one faitful day, where his way of life quickly changed. Not long after a prayer service, the temple was suddenly stormed by humans in dark suits, all of them suddenly beating any fishmen still at the temple senseless before tying them up and abducting them, Gerald among the fishmen, leaving as suddenly as they had arrived, with seventy fishmen abducted. The reason for this, as Gerald was told shortly after he awoke in a padded cell, that one of the cipher pols, the world goverments secret services rankend by number from one to nine, had decided to begin a programme on attempting to condition some fishmen to become the perfect assassins. It was a mixture of torture, forced murders, sessions where they attempted to eliminate a subjects emotions, excercises of speed, agility and stealth that resulted in anyone with below satisfactory results with some harsh beatings and occasionaly field tests on hired targets, usually petty criminals believing that they were merely going to be given communtiy service, and at extremely rare occasions, dules to the death between unsatisfactory test subjects. Gerald perservered the forced traning that was being beatten into him, believing that the Sea Sister would give him an oppurtunity to escape, continuing his prayers and conditions, much to the fury of his handlers, causing him to be among the many unsatisfactory test subjects. One day, his prayer was answered when one the fellow inmates announced on a field test that he was planing a rebellion with the other inmates, handing Gerald a fish skull which the conga eel fishman took for a sign from his godess, quickly fasioning it into a 'Spirit Gourd', a religous talisman resembling the holy symbol of the Seasayer, believed to grant good luck and have an ocean spirit watch over it's wearer, before argreeing with the rebellion leader to assist. The inmates waited months on end for the next field test, where their numbers dwindeled through the days from the agonising traning, to which the rebellion started, where either the assassin's gathered fought against their own handlers, attemtping massacre anyone that stood in their way to freedom. The rebellion was a blood bath, with immense casualties on either side, though the objective was achieved with only tweleve remaining assassins managing to make a final sprint outside the facillity they were kept in for so long, barely managing to make it out of the remaing cipher pol member's clutches, Gerald among the lucky dozen. Afterwards, Gerald realised because of the condtioning he had been put through he probably could never divert back to his priesthood, and as a result decided his only option was to take assassination work, drifting around the grandline for job opertunites, learning navigation through his travels to avoid losing his way when going to specific locations. During one perticularly unsettling assassination that almost breeched his religious code, Gerald made a descison to seek out and employer that respected his choice of religion and avoid endagering his belifes for the sake of the mission at hand, beginning his search in place of simply looking for employment. After some time, he ended up in the service of the Dark Isle Assassins, working for them as their master Karasu respected his religious views, and ended up learing how to use the three Rokushiki techniques; Geppo, Soru, and Kami-e after being taught them by Karasu's father, Yaminoque.
Personality: Has a tendancy to avoid showing much facial expression and speaking in a rathe rmonotone voice, as result of his harsh traning conditions, being taught to avoid feeling any thing emotionly, though he speaks with respect to most people he meets, including his targets. Strangely, Gereld has a habit of saying actions or onomatepias outloud when they happen, which he claims is to keep his mind focused though shows signs of actually having no control over this. He also has immense faith in his religion, the druidic Seasayer, to which he practises it's customs daily, including prayers, ceremonies and traditions, to the extent that he would gladly endanger an assassination because of his faith, including burial service of his victims.
