Name: Sabi Sabi no Mi (Rust Rust Fruit) Ability The major strength of the fruit, so far seen, is that the user is able to rust and pull apart metallic weapons such as swords. Doing so apparently gives the user somewhat of an advantage against sword wielding opponents. The powers of the fruit give the user a permanent defense against swords and other metal weapons. A sword's edge simply touching the user's body will immediately begin to rust and come apart before a cut can be made. It has also been shown in the anime that powers of the fruit can also rust human flesh, probably the iron from the blood at a much slower rate. However, it's powers won't protect the user from non-metallic objects. Furthermore, if used on a living thing, the rusting effect seems to be reversible for as long as it does not entirely oxidize the entity in question, the victim's body can revert quickly back to normal after user on them separated. Apart from that, the fruit so far doesn't seem to have any specific weaknesses outside the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses. The rate of oxidization on contact is as follows -instantaneous (on contact) the edge, tip or plain touching the user first is simply rusted away, preventing damage (though admittedly not reducing force) -Within a post of prolonged contact (with out grip) the weapons surface has been rusted over (if it is comparable in size to a katana) preventing its effective use as a weapon till it can be repaired -within the second post of prolonged contact (with out grip, this also aplies to the first post of prolonged contact with the user focusing their power) the weapon's metal is fully rusted through and becomes brittle and fragile (the user can pull or break the weapon) -Within the third post of prolonged contact (second post with grip) the weapon begins to crumble away in to dust, completely gone (though non metal handles and non metallic parts will survive) this constitues calling a hit if the metallic object is warped or incased in a non metallic material the rusting effet will not take place as direct contact is not established with the metal itself (a sheathed sword's blade for example would be protected)
as for the body the rusted area is considered immobile and spreads at a rate of half a limb (or 1/4 of the torso) a post, meaning that the entire body takes 14 posts to completely rust) but the body recovers completely after contact is lost if the victims body was not fully rusted, as this results in death the full rusting of the victims body is considered calling a hit. The users body will likewise rust if submerged in seawater with the same effect though seastone does not cause this Type Paramecia

| this fruit already exists in the cannon, it does not require approval, however your portrayal constitutes instantaneous destruction of a player characters custom weapons on contact which is in effect a form of autohit as it alters the character sheet with an un-doge-able action
both the rusting of weapons and human blood will require a post durration and set limits if this is going to be approvable, all time must be expressed in posts | |

| that would present an issue, you see you cannot actually instantly turn characters weapons to dust by touching them, or irreversibly rusting blood, here is an example of a more rp-able description
The major strength of the fruit, so far seen, is that the user is able to rust and pull apart metallic weapons such as swords. Doing so apparently gives the user somewhat of an advantage against sword wielding opponents. The powers of the fruit give the user a permanent defense against swords and other metal weapons.
