Appearance: Nate has an bushy afro , light brown skin, and has piercing light brown eyes. Standing at around 6' he is decently tall and has a wiry frame(not skinny but not jacked, in the middle). You will always see him wearing a black and white Hawaiian shirt(that is never buttoned) with black pants and black boots. His most prized possession is his sword which he always has on his right hip. He always has a care free or at peace look on his face knowing that he made his master happy before he died.

History: Growing up with his mother and his brother Nick, they were always getting into fights. Nate was always helping the family our because they were barely getting by, he'd always find odd jobs and work hard to bring extra money home. When he was 10 his mother started to get sick often and he and his brother nick were always switching off between working and caring for their mother. While doing this Nate would sometimes skip work and walk to a small dojo where adults would train in hand to hand combat and weapon combat. After watching from time to time, one day Nate walks into the dojo and starts to emulate what the class was learning; the master of the dojo ask's Nate if he has a place to stay(because of his tattered and dirty clothes), Nate nods and returns to copying the movements the class were practicing. After a few moments the master introduces himself as Jethro and asks if he would like a private lesson after the current class was over. it turns out that the class was an introduction between a future student and teacher relationship. The next day Jethro shows up at Nate's doorstep and brings food and a carriage to carry them to the dojo to live. Nate asks why and Jethro replies with "you have endured enough for any grown man to give up but yet you don't, that is why."

When a year had passed there mother had tragically passed away due to a heart attack, the brothers were devastated, Nate picked up the slack and started to work harder at the dojo for longer hours. Jethro had told him that he did not have to work but Nate and his brother insisted on it, after a month of working hard Jethro stops them from working and starts to train them in the way of the martial arts. Along with teaching him martial arts he also taught them Ittoryu (one sword technique), the both picked everything up quick. Within two years they were surpassing instructors and masters from neighboring studios and dojos.

Within the next 6 years Nate was teaching classes to help Jethro out. And he and his brother had made the only two swords of their kind combing metals from an asteroid and metals from earth. Jethro told Nate there was nothing left to teach him or his brother, they stuck around for the next year hoping to find someway to repay Jethro for his kindness when they were younger, Jethro said he had always wanted sons as good as they were and was proud to be their father. To show Jethro what Nate was made of, Nate challenged all of the neighboring dojo's and studios to a hand to hand or weapon fight and told them only instructors or masters were allowed to participate. One-Hundred people arrived to fight Nate, they all were deciding who should fight first until Nate decided to take on all of them. Nate beat all one hundred participants in under five minutes, showing that Jethro's training had paid off.

within three months after the tournaments, Jethro had passed away leaving the dojo to Nate and his brother, when they were about to leave to go with Jerome(J.W. Dukes) they left the dojo to the instructors telling them to never let any of the other Masters touch the establishment.

Personality:Always cracking jokes and acts immature because he never had a childhood of his own. he is very confident in his abilities but never boasts about himself, and when ever there is a fight he is the last one to join but always the first to finish. he takes pride in what his master taught him to never start things but to finish them quickly, with control. He and his brother Nick are always arguing and getting into scuffles, these are always playful but look very violent. The brother are always seen with each other on board the Big Impact and since they are both still in training, are each others training partners early in the morning. Family and Friends are super important to Nate because he had little to no friends untill he met Jerome and only had his brother nick.

Special Abilities: superhuman strength-Without his sword he can put a dent in solid metal doors and bust through concrete, but with his sword he can cut clean through most metals and slice up concrete with ease.
superhuman speed-from dedicated training he has developed his fast twitch muscles to a point where he can move so fast that it looks like he leaves an after image.
incredible reflexes- training at the dojo, and always fighting with his brother.
in the process of mastering Ittoryu (one sword style)- has enough skills to take on a record of one-hundred instructors/masters in under 5 minutes.(baseline)

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
1- Ittoryu Iai: Shishi Sonson (meaning "One Sword Style Draw and Resheath Technique: Lion's Song"): Placing the sheathed sword upright and listening to the "breath" of his opponent, the attack rapidly unsheathes, attacks, and sheaths the sword. Use of this technique is used to cut thrugh most metals but can hurt the user of techniques like tekkai (not severely but can break through it).

2-Sanjuroku Pound Ho (meaning "Phoenix of the 36 Earthly Desires" or more commonly "Pound Phoenix/Cannon"): This attack uses the air itself to slash the target from a distance. To initiate it, Nate first holds one of his swords horizontally above the shoulder of his sword arm, and then performs a circular swing that launches the air compressed projectile spiraling towards the target.

3-Hiryu: Kaen (meaning "Flying Dragon: Blaze"): Using one sword wielded in his left hand with his right hand gripping his left wrist for support (or vice-versa), Nate jumps high up into the air and slashes his opponent. After slashing them, Nate's opponent then bursts into flames (blue flames because of his sword) from where they were slashed.

Weapons/Items: needs to be approved

Goals: to master Ittoryu and carry on Jethro's teachings, but first become the greatest swordsman in the world.

First of all, you need to elaborate in the personality and appearance sections, they're too small. If you want ideas, you can always use metaphors and things like that, which make it give us a better mental image of your character. In the personality section you can add likes dislikes, defects and stuff like that.

Also you need to elaborate in the superhuman strength part, how did he get it? due to the hard training? just as you did with superhuman speed. Although I do think that making it be almost as fast as soru is too much, so try to lower that down.

In the techniques, listening the target's breath so he knows when the target is indefence or something? that's good I guess but kinda like it's hard and not good if he can actually go through tekkai that easily... so yeah I would make that attack less powered.

For speed can I say On a scale of 1-10 and 10 is soru?

you could say as fast as soru in a fifth of it's power or something, like 1/5 of the soru speed enhanced or something like that. the way you say it doesn't really matter as long as it's comprehensible.
