| Three Hours Later...
The Grove was full. Over one thousand pirates had gathered around the giant tree that had the number 1 on its trunk. At first they had kept to their own individual groups, but as more and more pirates heard the news of the idiot who had challenged them to a fight and came to this place, they began to intermingle. Now crews of every kind stood around, talking in low whispers or laughing raucously.
However, Pirates were not the only ones who had come to this place. Marines and bounty hunters were scattered around the edges of the group, hiding just out of sight and keeping a close eye on the enemy. None of them dared come out for fear of being killed by the large group. They were mainly here just to scout out what was happening.
Then, out of nowhere, a blur of white feathers shot over the heads the pirates. Some of them yelled out in fright while others just stared up at the sight in silent contemplation. The blur flew upwards and slowed before dropping onto a branch of the Grove 1 tree.
It was Alex with four white wings spreading out from his back. He turned to face the crowd and looked over them, a small smile playing about his lips.
"Welcome," he said, spreading his arms wide in greeting. "My name is Alex D. Remington. Formerly of the Dusk Pirates. I must admit, I never expected so many of you too show up. Perhaps my bounty posters have made it this far, though I doubt that they would impress many of you." Alex's arms dropped back to his sides. "I must also admit one other thing. I do not truly have any intention of fighting you all. I'm not a complete fool to think that I could win against so many at once. Not to mention, there are a few of you who are big names as well. Isn't that right, Phantom?"
Alex pointed down at a tall, thin man. This man was almost entirely covered by a long dark cloak. His hands and feet, which protruded from the cloak were covered by gloves and boots. The cloak had a collar that reached all the way up to hide his mouth above that was the only bits of skin that could be seen. His skin was intensely pale, his eyes yellow and his hair as black as night. On either side of him he carried a sword, each of them currently inside of their respective sheaths.

"And I see you brought along your First Mate," Alex continued, his finger moving over to the man next to Phantom. This man was the same man who had been in the bar, watching Alex when he first announced the competition.
[Presentation Box] "Reflector" David Latona 1st Mate of the Phantom Pirates Bounty: 130,000,000
"And there's Oushi..."
This next man was huge. He was tall, muscular, and had long red hair that had been tied back into a ponytail. His clothing consisted of a white vest with the front unbuttoned, revealing his large chest muscles. Besides that he wore a pair of white pants and had a red sash around his waist. His feet were bare. On each of his hands were large, metal gauntlets that had spikes surrounding the edges.
[Presentation Box] Oushi Ankoku Captain of the Black Bull Pirates Bounty: 160,000,000
"Ooooh! Ol' Harry made it as well!"
This man had dark brown hair that was fairly long, reaching down to the base of his neck. He also had facial hair: a beard and mustache, both of the same color as his hair. They were not combed or cut in any special way, but had been allowed to simply grow out. The man was dressed in a militaristic uniform. His shirt and pants were a dark green while his shoes were black and looked like they had been recently shined. On one side he carries a saber and at the other he has a large and heavy-looking pistol.
[Presentation Box] "Stonewall" Harry Jackson Occupation: Captain of the Confederate Pirates Bounty: 180,000,000
Alex continued scanning the crowd looking for the next big name to point out. Suddenly his eyes widened in shock. "Are you kidding me? SHE showed up?"
The "she" he was referring too looked like a young woman with long, silvery-blond hair. However, it was difficult to perceive her true age since her face was covered up by a gray mask that was shaped like a human face. Strangely enough, there were no eye holes for her to see through so not even her eye color could be seen. Besides her mask she wore a gray, long-sleeve shirt, gray pants, and soft, gray shoes. Her clothing wasn't tight or baggy. Just medium. To Alex, she seemed pretty bland, but from the rumors he had heard, he knew that she was anything but. Even the people around her seemed to detect that she wasn't an ordinary human. She had open space for about ten feet in all directions from her.

Alex cleared his throat and calmed his racing heart. "Right. I'm honored and all that...oh, let's just cut to the chase." He stepped forward, moving to the end of the branch before crouching. "I have a dream, just as I am sure each and every one of you has a dream. 'Cept, my dream is going to come true, and soon. You see, I don't want to be just another pirate rushing to the end of the Grand Line in search of One Piece. No, I have another goal. I want to become a Shichibukai." Immediately people could be heard murmuring to one another far below Alex. "That's right. One of the Warlords. If one has the authority of a Warlord, Marines would not dare to touch you. The World Government would not hound you. You would be free to do as you liked...with one or two exceptions. But I have a problem." Alex shrugged. "I am but one man. And I will need strong followers to obtain my future position. So I have gathered you all here to ask you to join with me. As a Shichibukai, I would be able to make all of your dreams come true. And maybe, just maybe, one day we would reach the end of the Grand Line and find One Piece. And then you would be the crewmates of the King."

| From the moment Rupert and Duncan arrived at Grove 1 it seemed that only problems rose as many pirates turned up followed by more and more who looked even scarier than the last then finally Alex the man who brought them all here with his competition showed up and instantly he learnt that this guy was either a devil fruit user or an angel but since angel's existence hadn't been proven yet and he had been a previous member of the Dusk pirates he guessed he had a devil fruit. Rupert looked at the people he pointed out as pirates and every time he he looked he saw people he'd never seen or heard about. Duncan was sleepy and curdled up at his feet so Rupert picked him up in his arms and moved over near Momo for safety as he seemed like a person who was roughly normal unlike the other pirates who showed up and scared the life out of him as they all seemed ruthless and scary. Rupert wasn't a coward so he definitely wasn't going to run away because of all these scary pirates but he was going to get a better view. Rupert placed Duncan down by the bottom of the tree and said to him, "Stay Duncan," Duncan nodded and went back to sleeping. Rupert then began to climb the tree he was among the large crowd of pirates who were all looking up at Alex surprised at what he had to say, Rupert hoped he wouldn't be spotted climbing up the tree as he reached a large firm branch and laid back against the trunk ready to see these battles commence. |

| Wrath watched intently at all of the pirates surrounding him. There were obviously too many to count. Wrath was surprised when the winged man made his appearance. "Awww... where was he three hours ago?" It was said as a joke but he knew the situation was anything but a joke. If Wrath knew anything about the competition, it was that a massive free-for-all was about to ensue.
Wrath listened as the winged man called out specific people in the crowd. They were obviously all big-time pirates whose names caused those around them to quake with fear. Wrath on the other hand had actually never heard of any of them. Dark islands in the middle of the grand line don't often get news sent to them.
Wrath felt his right arm suddenly ache. Very deep inside of him, his soul was crying out for blood. He would have to fight with his arm eventually but now was not the time. Wrath slid his left hand under his half-cape and wrapped it around his stiletto. Compared to the giant swords of the greater pirates, a mere knife was nothing. He would be using it to pick off small fries when it came to it.

| "Oh-lala! This is quite interesting... No... Very, very interesting..." John said from the top of the tall mangrove at a branch that could be barely seen, at a position that was even higher than Alexander's. Apparently, he was waiting there for three hours. He had been watching at the people who were gathering in the Grove as the time passed. Even from the top of the tree, he could recognise many of the pirates who had gathered there. It was not difficult to do so, after all. The "famous" rookies could easily stand out in the middle of other pirates... There were many of them... Who would believe that a mere pirate like Alexander would draw so much attention.
However, there were not only the pirates at the area. The head of the Moonstripe Clan could see marines hiding. While he was standing on the top of the tree, unnoticed, he happened to watch at the marines who were hiding until the main "event" would start. The situation was one of their best chances to show that they were actually worthy. If they managed to catch the pirates who would be defeated, they would earn a great victory. With his words in the bar, Alexander had caused great trouble... What was going to happen in Sabaody at that time would not be forgot for a while... Just like with the Sabaody War...
At the time everyone was present, Alexander started speaking. He was introducing the famous pirates who happened to accept Alexander's challenge. "Who would have guessed that this man would bring so many people here..." John started thinking for a moment. "Phantom and David Latona of the Phantom Pirates, Oushi Ankoku of the Black Bull Pirates, Harry Jackson of the Confederate Pirates and Sylvia Hickory of the Pain Pirates... So many of them... This is going to be enjoyable..." he continued thinking, as he looked at the people who were arriving.
Then, a few seconds later, he started listening to Alexander's speech. The pirate was formaly introducing himself to those who did not happen to know him and were just there because they found his challenge interesting. Even John did not know many things about him... As his bounty was announced a few days earlier, he had not heard about him... He knew that he had seen him somewhere (probably in a poster) but at that time he could not remember where. However, with Alexander's speech he would learn more things about him. He listened carefully.
"Right. I'm honored and all that...oh, let's just cut to the chase. I have a dream, just as I am sure each and every one of you has a dream. 'Cept, my dream is going to come true, and soon. You see, I don't want to be just another pirate rushing to the end of the Grand Line in search of One Piece. No, I have another goal. I want to become a Shichibukai. That's right. One of the Warlords. If one has the authority of a Warlord, Marines would not dare to touch you. The World Government would not hound you. You would be free to do as you liked...with one or two exceptions. But I have a problem.I am but one man.
That was it... Alexander had a plan for gathering all those pirates at that place... He wanted to recruit a few of them as his crewmembers... Unlike the other pirates, Alexander was different. He did not want to become a Pirate King immediately. He wanted to become a member of the Seven Warlords... He wanted to gain freedom at whatever he was going to do, even if he was a pirate. He wanted to become a "dog of the Government" in order to be able to do whatever he wished.
And not only that... Alexander also said a few more things that piqued John's curiosity. According to Alexander, he was a member of the Dusk Pirates, the crew which emerged out of nowhere and caused havoc to the Unholy War and in Impel Down. It seemed that the "Night Terror" was a formidable guy. Maybe it would be bright for John to stick with him in the begining and work for him until he could get linked and do as he wished. If Alexander became a Warlord, John would be also able to do as he wished and he would be able to achieve his goal easier while also he would be scouting for strong people to join him in his goal.
That was enough. He had heard what he wanted and he took his decision. For the time being, he would stick with Alexander and assist him. It was about time for John to make his appearance. With a smile on his face, the "Priest of the Apocalypse" stretched himself before he was about to show himself. He shouted "Make my dreams come true? Become a partner of the Pirate King? That is interesting... Mr. Remmington! "Priest of the Apocalypse" John Moonstripe... At your...services." as he jumped from the branch, revealing his figure to everyone.
He could be clearly seen after he jumped. John was wearing his usual priest clothes. He carried his katana at his left hand and he was falling downwards with great speed. Many pirates were looking at him, surprised by his spectacular entrance to the event. "Who is that man?" a few people wondered as he fell down from the branch. While he was ready to land on the ground, he spinned around himself and in the end he landed safely, with his sword pointing towards the sky. He instantly swang it, launching an air blade above him, demonstrating a portion of his power. "Am I welcome?" he asked Alexander and waited for an answer from him.

| Rupert saw the priest's entrance and thought it was amazing and slightly scary he still looked just as scary as he originally did from the bar too. Rupert liked the sound of joining this guys crew although he doubted he'd be strong enough. Rupert sat and thought about it for a few seconds before he said to himself, I want to be in this crew, it would be a great travelling experience and hopefully I'll get the chance to meet some really nice people. Rupert took another look at the people in the crowd and thought to himself, scratch that some scary people. Rupert still wanted to at least speak to this guy. Alex seemed like a guy who didn't take anything from anyone and Rupert respected that but also felt himself shiver as he would feel terrified asking for anything, he then shook his head trying to stop himself coming up with excuses he wanted to join this man who was so confident he would reach his goal of becoming a shich...whatever they were called he couldn't pronounce the word. Rupert tried leaping from the tree branch he was currently sitting on landing as amazingly as the priest before him had done.
Rupert looked over the edge to realise it was quite a far drop but if he wanted to make a grand entrance this was the way to do it. He could see Duncan still asleep by the trunk of the tree and smiled, he was going to jump and that was that Rupert stood up and was about to jump when his hand gripped the tree tightly he could feel his fear setting in trying to stop him from doing something so stupid but he knew it would always end the same way, he would try stopping himself for only so long before the fear was distracted and Rupert found himself hurtling towards the ground. In his head he imagined leaping down and landing impacting the ground hard then standing up so casually while all the other pirates looked at him in awe and amazement, Rupert felt his fear disappear for a moment and took the chance for an awesome entrance.
Rupert placed his feet carefully in the right place to jump then as he pushed off with his left foot hi right foot didn't follow and instead of leaping he ended up tripping from the branch and speeding towards the floor at incredible speed, he was in line for one hell of a painful belly flop and he knew it. Duncan still asleep didn't notice anything which was going on until there was a loud thud about 5 meters to his right and a strong vibration shuddered through the ground.
Rupert had landed. |

| Momo was being his usual detached self among the ridiculous amount of pirates that surrounded the place. He couldn't join the happiness and excitement out of one simple reason: He knew they were there. Slavetraders, this kind of event was bound to drag these scums to the first grove, and he could have sworn he spotted some of the pirates sneak malicious glances at him. This all stopped when the man of honor arrived, carried by a set of angelic wings.
Momo never seen such a thing before, and as a fishman who was taught how to appreciate nature's creations, he had to stop and stare, despite the primal fear he was experiencing. He listened to the man's words as Rupert kept being his stressed self next to him. Momo declared himself to be a pirate since the day he lost his spiritual home, and he swore to return it to it's prime. He couldn't help but figure that by becoming a member of a Shichibukai crew, he'll have a better chance at affecting the island's destiny, and protect it from the world government's greed.
He knew none of the famous pirates that surrounded him, and could only hope that a fight wasn't going to break out eventually. 'If only these people would stay as quiet as thi- Oh...' Momo thought. His mind stopped as he noticed a priest jumping off of a tall grove and performing some advanced sword technique. This kind of behavior was the kind of thing that usually made such tight event explode. Momo tried to crouch, so to not blend out in the crowd, but as a 2 meters tall pink fishman, it wasn't an easy task. Right now, he was the easiest target a slave trader could hope for.

| Alex was mildly impressed by the priest's appearance. Apparently he wasn't just another punk. Alex had been about to give him an answer when compared another man jumped a moment later and hit the ground with a loud "thud".
Alex winced at the sound and sighed. What an idiot. He looked out over the crowd which was now growing restless. He was receiving a lot of dirty looks and sentences like "I can't believe this...", "Is he serious?", "Why did I waste my time?" Apparently he wasn't too popular with the other pirates.
Suddenly silence fell over the crowd once more. Phantom had stepped out and was frowning at Alex, his eyes narrowed.
"You honestly expect us to follow you?" he said, his voice quiet and rasping. "Perhaps some fools will accept such an offer..." He gave John a dismissive glance and then looked back up at Alex. "But compared to many of those here, you are nothing. My own bounty is more than twice your own. In other words...don't get a big head just because you hung out with Maximillion."
The crowd of pirates looked back at Alex. Many of them were shocked to see him starting to smile broadly.
"Heh...I'm surprised no one brought that up before this point," Alex replied. "I said that I did not intend to fight you all at once. That does not mean that I won't beat in a few heads if they are trying to be stubborn."
Alex reached back and took hold of his sword's hilt. Just then, someone burst out of the branches above him. It was a man. He had light brown hair. His eyes were a sparkling blue and on his head he wore a cowboy hat. The rest of his outfit consisted of a tan, short-sleeve shirt and one of those belts that has a giant buckle encircling a pair of blue jeans. On his feet he wore a pair of cowboy boots. The strangest part of his attire was what he was wearing on his hands. Over each of his fingers, except his right pointer finger, was the finger of a black glove. However, the rest of the glove was missing as if these had merely been torn off from it and stuck on.
As Alex turned to face this new adversary, the man landed on his branch and swung his hand at Alex's face. Alex stepped back off of his branch, but the man's right pointer finger sideswiped his face. A second later, Alex used his wings to dash forward before ramming his knee into the man's chest, knocking the wind out of him. With a backhand Alex sent the man flying off of the branch and tumbling through the air back down to earth.
Instead of turning into a blood splatter when he reached the ground, the man twirled and landed cat-like down on all fours. A moment later, he hopped back up on his feet and smirked up at Alex. He pointed at Alex with the finger he had touched him with and slipped another black glove-finger over it as well.
"Got'cha," the man said.
"Who is...?" one pirate asked.
His comrade whacked him on the shoulder. "Don't you recognize that guy? His name is Sean Wilson. He's the captain of the LOSER pirates!"
"You mean the crew that always gets beat up and runs away from every fight?" the first pirate asked. They both laughed.
"Heh...it's kinda funny ya should mention that..." the cowboy replied.
[Presentation Box] Sean Wilson Captain of the Ranger Pirates Bounty: 5,000,000
"...because I've been a bit tired o' playin' the fool," Sean continued. "An' mah crew feels th' same way!"
All at once, another fifty pirates appeared around the grove. They were smirking down at the main group, cracking knuckles, and in general trying to look intimidating.
Alex frowned. It seemed that yet another contender had arrived. How many more would show up, he had no idea. Alex had looked over the bounty posters of all the pirates on the island before coming here and this man hadn't seemed to be too dangerous. Still, there was something weird about what he had just done there. Touching him with his finger...ugh. Alex didn't like anyone except girls touching him. Alexander felt much the same way except he didn't like anyone touching him period.

| Seeing the peculiar entrance of Rupert at the scene, following his own, John was uninterested. He sighed as he looked him making his failed entrance at the meeting point and then he looked towards Alexander. It seemed that as things were going on, they did not give the chance to Alexander to answer to him about joining the crew... That was too bad... However, John would wait. After all, he was not an impatient guy... He was patient for many years... He could wait a little bit more.
Then, he looked at the entrance of Sean to the Grove. People were laughing at him as he appeared at the scene. However, the actions of Sean started worrying John. For some reason, he had a strange feeling about him. He did not know whether he was right or not but he thought of him to be a dangerous guy. The other captains and their powerful first mates were nothing else than a bunch of barbarians who arrived at Sabaody after rampaging the first half of the Grand Line. Sean was different, though. He was called a loser because of his bounty of 5,000,000... The question was... How did a pirate like Sean survive the first half of the Grand Line and arrived at the place that every powerful rookie happened to arrive? He did not know... But he had that feeling that his question would be answered soon.

| Rupert stood up clutching his stomach in pain then coughed a few times he looked at the actions which happened before him and was shocked at what had happened then stepped forwards slipping through the crowd of pirates, he tried to get closer to Alex who no doubt must've seen him fall and said, "Hi I'm Rupert and you must've seen me fall from the tree and right now your probably thinking I'm quite stupid and....um...clumsy but I would really like to join your crew and travel around with you...if you'd let me that is." In this moment of confidence which he didn't have often Rupert smiled at Alex then awaited his reply before continuing, "Oh yeah and if its any consolation, I'm a doctor too." Rupert gave a little smile then realised how weak and pathetic he was looking in front of all these amazingly strong and powerful pirates and gulped as he felt incredibly self concious.
Duncan woke up and ran at Rupert and leaped on him scaring Rupert, Rupert jumped when Duncan hit him in the back and turned around to see Duncan and patted him on the head before smiling at him and realising that he was still stood in front of all these pirates who were looking at him with angry stern faces. |

| Alex watched Sean silently for a few more seconds. Then he sighed and crossed his arms in front of him.
"Okay, so we've got one more to join in on the party," Alex commented. "That's fine. And..." He looked down at John and Rupert. "...it looks like I've got at least two takers on my offer to join my crew. That's good, very good, but I'm going to need more if I'm to defeat a Shichibukai." He paused and cocked his head to one side thoughtfully. "Or maybe not. Two isn't a bad number since I'll probably be doing most of the fighting against the Shichibukai. It's my own strength that I'm trying to prove, after all."
"Wait, he's actually going to take that idiot?" a female pirate muttered to her friend. She was looking straight at Rupert as she said this. "What good is a weakling like that?"
"That Alexander guy must be desperate," her friend replied.
Other similar lines could be heard from the crowd. Alex didn't seem to hear any of them, though a small smile appeared on his face.
"After all," he said, instantly silencing the crowd. "A doctor will be vital to our success. I mean, it wouldn't help if I beat the Shichibukai and then died from my wounds, would it?" Alex grinned and spread his hands out again. "So, who else wants in?"
"I've had enough of this trash," Phantom said. He reached down and drew one of his swords out of his sheath. It was a katana, its blade was solid black like Phantom's outfit. "Unless you prove your strength, then what good are you? Phantom Pirates! COME!"
All at once he was surrounded by a small group of pirates, each in vastly different outfits and uniforms. A moment later, Phantom sprang from the center of the group towards Alex.
"Let's see what you can really do!" Phantom shouted. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Meanwhile, back at the Marine HQ of Sabaody Archipelago, troops were running every which way, gathering weapons and preparing for the defense of their base. A man stood at the center of their group shouting orders.
This man was dressed in a generic Marine uniform with an officer coat wrapped around his shoulders. He had short, blond hair and brown eyes. On his right cheek he had a long scar.
"You grab those rifles!" this man was yelling. He turned to face another direction. "Hurry it up over there! We cannot allow these pirates to run wild across the island!"
[Presentation Box] Daisuke Howaido Marine Captain
"Captain!" a Marine Ensign had just stepped up to Daisuke and saluted him. "A call for you sir!"
Daisuke took the Den Den Mushi his subordinate was offering him. He nodded to the Ensign who saluted again and ran off to get prepared for the upcoming fight.
"Captain Howaido reporting," Daisuke said. He paused, listening to the person on the other end of the line. It was evident from Daisuke's slowly darkening expression that whatever the person on the other end of the line was saying, he didn't like it. "Who is this?" Daisuke demanded. "What authority do you have too..." His eyes widened in shock. "Wait...you are...?" Immediately he became more formal and business-like. "Right. We'll do that. Yes. And should we..." Suddenly he paled. "You're sending in the Reaper unit? Are you sure that is necessary? We can still...right...my apologies. I'll get right on it. Goodbye." Daisuke hung up and turned away. His hands were shaking. "Why would they do something like that? Surely it isn't that serious...the Reapers, huh...I almost feel sorry for the pirates."

| Rupert smiled when Alex accepted him into his crew he didn't think he would be worthy enough but when he heard women behind him talking about him being weak and clumsy he felt bad and felt his heart sink. Duncan began rubbing his nose against Rupert's leg in comfort as he didn't like all these rough mean looking people. Rupert felt the same and dipped his head, when he heard his new captain Alex say how useful it would be to have a doctor aboard Rupert's grin grew once again as he raised his head proud of what he could do and then turned back to face the girls, he stuck his tongue out at them then heard Alex ask who else wants to join he hoped Momo asked to join as he kinda liked him even if he did seem very forward with friendships. Rupert then heard one of the pirates Alex had pointed out earlier say, "I've had enough of this trash," and felt his pulse quicken and a rush of adrenaline he didn't know what was going to happen but was sure Alex was about to prove his strength and he couldn't wait to see what unfolded. |

| Wrath pulled out his stiletto and without reason, stabbed a phantom pirate as he brushed past him. The stiletto passed through the man's neck and rendered him instantly incapacitated. The man dropped to the ground. The other pirates standing around Wrath slowly began to inch away from him. With a shout, he made himself known.
"My name is Wrath and my bounty is probably just as good as 90% of the other pirates here. However! I have ambition. I have a goal and you, Alex, are someone who seems to be able to help me achieve it. Accept me into your crew and I will serve you well!" He took his left foot and stood on the body of the dead pirate. "Everyone who objects to this man's dreams..." Wrath threw off his half-cape, revealing his demonic right arm for everyone to see. The shape and dangerous look of it scared those around him a few more feet. With a devilish grin, he continued "... Anyone who objects to Alex's goal; I advise not to stand within five meters of me." Wrath was ready for any pirate who came his way. With his stiletto in his left hand and his razor sharp right, no one could avoid his blood lust.

| Exular looked towards Momo, who he was still close to, taking out his cigar, holding it in his index finger, middle finger and thumb; "Well, my friend, try to take care of yourself. I'm getting off of this island. Being here for one year is a year too long for a short visit.", Exular tipped his hat Momo, and placed his Cigar back into his mouth, running off towards Alex.
Exular arrived near the Phantom Pirates when he saw a man named Wrath kill one of them. Exular smirked at the man's courage and turned to continue but stopped short once the man showed his right arm, staring in awe at the man. In the confusion, Exular was punched in the face by one of the Phantom Pirates. Due to the surprise, Exular dropped his cigar. He pulled out one of his Flintlocks, pressing the barrel to the man's forhead; "I'm sorry, but you're a right prick." Exular pressed against the trigger, firing into the man's head. He stood onto the corpse, as Wrath had done, lighting a Cigar in the process. Exular would begin to shout towards Alex; "I, my good man, would be delighted to join your crew. I believe we all have our dreams, and from the look of you, you seem to be intelligent enough to gain that dream by any piece necessary. I give you the aid of myself and my guns. If you accept us, I know we will serve you to the bitter end."

| ((OOC: Oops! Looks like I forgot to mention that the Phantom Pirates were off limits to auto-kills. Think of them as the Eutass Kid crew. They're not a large crew and they are tough, sorta like the Straw Hats before the timeskip. Anyway, I'm not trying to hand out blame since it was my fault for not saying anything, but I'm just letting you know that some of these characters who are generic NPC types may not stay that way for long. Even the ones who have supposedly been killed. My next post will demonstrate what I'm talking about. Oh, but before I get to that, I'd better tell you who is on limits and off. Most of the crews here are large and killing a few of them is no big deal as long as you don't go overboard with it. The main one that you cannot just call hits on are the Ranger Pirates. There are about fifty of them, but each is decently strong. Remember, we are just starting out as a crew so we're not top tier or anything like that. The Pain Pirates are also super powered, but only their captain showed up for this meeting so you need not be concerned with them. Yet. Okay, that's all I wanted to say OOC. Now I'm going to shut up and get RPing.))
Alexander
Alex watched calmly as Phantom jumped towards him. The other man ended his leap by landing on the side of the tree and beginning to run up its bark using only his feet. It was pretty impressive by Alex's standards. He would have had to fly. Unfortunately, he didn't have long to observe Phantom to figure out his trick. The man was almost on top of Alex already.
Alex did not respond right away. He merely stared at Phantom as if trying to decide whether or not he was an actual threat. Then, just as Phantom reached him and was swinging his sword at Alex's throat, Alex drew his own sword and blocked. The sheer force of Phantom's swing surprised him. Not only was the man attacking upwards and not only was he using a portion of his strength to run up the tree trunk, but the impact of their swords clashing had sent out a minor shockwave that cleared the air around them of dust particles and small insects.
However, Alex wasn't the only one who was surprised on this first strike. When Alex had drawn Excelsior from its sheath, its beautifully crafted blade reflected the light and shone like the sun. For the briefest of moments, Phantom was blinded by the sword. Then he kicked off from the tree and landed on a branch just below Alex's.
"It seems there is more to you than I originally anticipated," Phantom commented. "A weapon such as that one is hard to come by, even in a world such as ours where our top blacksmiths are Tetsu-Tetsu users..."
"You ain't half bad yourself," Alex replied, grinning down at Phantom. He slung his sword over his shoulders and held out his other hand towards the man below him. "So, how about it? Want to join my crew?"
"Hmph, you truly are arrogant," Phantom replied. "If you think that one clash was enough to judge my skill."
"I think nothing of the kind," Alex said. "I'm just hopeful. Besides, you haven't even drawn your other sword, so there is no way I could judge your true strength."
Phantom did not reply immediately. Instead his hand reached over to tap the hilt of his second katana. Now that they were closer to each other, Alex took a second look at it. Near the base of the hilt was the white outline of a lotus flower. The rest of the hilt was a light brown color. It didn't seem like the kind of weapon that a man such as Phantom would be carrying.
"I will not draw this weapon until I am ready to kill you," Phantom said, his raspy voice growing soft. "And do not doubt that fact. I will kill you."
"We'll see soon enough," Alex replied cheerfully as if they were not talking about his future demise.
"That we will," Phantom breathed. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Wrath and Exular
David Latona approached the two newest recruits to Alex's band. He looked at the two of them in an almost pitying way, but then he directed his attention towards the pirates they were standing on. Now he just looked disgusted.
"Justin, Vlad, stop faking it and get up!" David shouted.
The man Wrath was standing on sighed and opened his eyes. "But it's so boring, man," he whined. "It's so much easier to pretend that you're dead and wait it out, man."
"I concur," said the man Exular was standing on. His voice had an odd, mechanical quality to it. "Please allow us to remain inactive until the end of the fight."
"Oh, so you pretty Pollys want to stay on the floor do you?" David said, smiling at them. His expression darkened instantly. "GET UP OFF OF THE GROUND YOU BLITHERING IDIOTS! THAT'S AN ORDER!"
"Looks like he is serious, man," said the man that Wrath was standing on. "Better do as he says before he completely blows his top, man."
As one, the two men pushed Wrath and Exular's weight off of them. The man Wrath had been standing on rolled away before popping to his feet. This man was tall. Both his arms and legs had two joints around the elbow and knee areas respectively, revealing his long-arm and long-leg tribe ancestries. He touched a wound on the back of his neck and winced.
"Man, if I hadn't moved my head in time, that could have really hurt me," he complained.

The other man simply stood up in front of Exular and felt the bullet hole in his head. There seemed to be bits of metal sticking out of his wound, but no blood was leaking out. He was an odd man. Short, but strong-looking. And then there was this almost robotic air about him in the way he moved. He turned towards Exular and nodded towards him.
"I compliment you on your skill of short-range shooting," he said. "Unfortunately, such things matter little when you face one such as I."

| (Sorry bout that. Well you seemed to have formed a story off of them nicely XD)
Having blindly attacked the man as he passed, Wrath never had a good chance to identify his opponent until the moment he was pushed off from below. Wrath took a look at his stiletto. The tip had a light coat of blood so he was certain that he hit him. Looking back at his opponent, Wrath tried to study his opponent a little better. The strange way the man's appendages were proportioned hinted at his abnormal body structure.
"I'm sorry but I think you might have been better off pretending that you were dead." Wrath took a peek behind him to where the smoke-man shot the pirate. He too was in a similar situation with a seemingly tricky opponent.
There was no way to hurt the long man without getting very close. After a second of looking at his opponent, Wrath rushed in for the kill. He held his stiletto in a reverse grip in his left hand and positioned it in front of his face as a first level of defense for anything that came his way. Wrath opened his right hand such that each of his razor sharp fingers were fully separate from each other.
Wrath ran at his opponent with the intent to land a claw attack similar to a 5-finger shigan on the center of Justin's chest.

| "This is quite interesting..." the "Priest of the Apocalypse" said as he noticed that the battle with the Phantom Pirates had just started. Apparently, Alexander was clashing with the captain of the infamous pirate crew. The "Phantom" was thought to be the most powerful rookie out there. If he was defeated, that would make many people retreat and John would not have the time to do what he wished to do. As a result, he would have to start fighting immediately. He slightly unseathed his sword and he started moving towards Alexander and the "Phantom" to watch at the battle from a closer place and be able to assist Alexander in case he was losing to the powerful rookie.
As he walked, though, he noticed somebody else who was also at the place. David Latona, the first mate of the Phantom Pirates was commanding his supposedly killed crewmates to get up and start fighting the new recruits of Alexander's crew. That meant that he asked his crewmembers to attack the newly formed crew of Alexander, in other words, John's crew. With a serious look on his face, John moved towards him and he completely unsteathed his sword and pointed towards his direction. He said
"Wow... Latona David... I could never imagine that I would get to engage you right here, right now... This is interesting... No... This is... suberb..." he whispered with a voice that could show his evil intentions about taking down the pirate. Then, he raised his sword above him and he launched another air blade on the sky, as a demonstration of power... At least, that could probably be what David thought at that time.
"You have probably seen me when I made my appearance..." John continued saying as he bowed to his enemy. "I am John Moonstripe, the leader of the Moonstripe Clan, a well-known clan of swordsmen in Sabaody. Nice to meet you."

| ((Oh, Sorry o.o Nice to know that you had every character planned out atleast. xP))
Exular began to fall backwards as the man got up. As Exular fell backwards off of the man, he pushed himself back up with the aid of a blast of smoke. As soon as Exular saw the man he knew he was probably in alot of trouble. If a man was able to take a bullet directly to the head and have it stop, then suddenly, the man said something quickly which Exular quickly replied to; "Short-shooting? Friend, I'll have you know that I am rather proficient with my weapon, whether at short or long ranged. Unfortunately for you, you'd unlikely manage to hit an island when standing next to it."
Exular took out his other Flintlock, now wielding both of his guns. Exular began to talk again; "So, are we just going to talk, or are we going to have a little showdown?"

| Wrath
Justin looked at Wrath with an expression that lacked any concern. If anything he looked a little bit sad.
"I know what you mean, man," he replied in a miserable tone just as Wrath rushed him. He twisted over backwards, his back bending so that not only did Wrath's attack miss him, but now Justin was looking up at Wrath from in between his own legs. "I would have been happier to just lay there, man. Otherwise things get a little dangerous. Do you get my drift, man?"
Justin suddenly spun, his whole body becoming a blur as he flipped over repeatedly in a rapid backwards roll. A moment later, he came back up on his feet almost as if nothing had occurred.
"Life is just such a drag, man," he continued, as if never having left off. "It's the reason why I hooked up with Phantom, man. That guy, he's like, got it all, man. Power, speed, brain smarts...I hardly ever have to do anything, man. I'm, like, living the dream. But then, there are times that I have to do stuff, ya know? Otherwise I'd probably just get kicked out of the crew, man." He sighed. "Like right now, man. You're really cramping my style by blocking my way. So I guess I'll just have to fight for once, man." He settled down into a fighting crouch. "Ready, man. Let's get started...oh wait...I guess you already did that. Right, my turn man."
Justin dashed forward, his long legs easily eating up the distance between them. He cocked back his fist as if he were about to try and punch Wrath. Then, very quickly he changed course, spinning to the left and launching a waist-height kick at Wrath's side. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
John
David cast a slightly irritated look in John's direction. He had really been hoping that he would not be interrupted and could keep track of the current fight up above between the captains. It wasn't that he thought Phantom would lose. Quite the opposite. In fact, he just wanted to keep a close eye on the battle so that he could learn more about Alex's fighting style. And Phantom's. For in spite of the fact that David was Phantom's 1st Mate, he wasn't totally against the idea of having a change in leadership, should the situation call for such an action.
"Moonstripe, huh?" David mused. "I believe that I have heard that name before." He spat on the ground. "They are a bunch of punks that have an overdeveloped opinion of their own ability, right?" ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Exular
Benjamin looked around at Exular critically. He didn't seem to be affronted in the slightest despite the man's insult at his own personal shooting ability. Instead, his eyes moved up and down Exular's body. Then he beeped. Literally beeped. Like a computer.
"Assessment complete," Benjamin stated. "Conclusions drawn. A marksman, presumably of decent to excellent skill considering that he has reached Sabaody. Smoke suggests the possibility of the presence of devil fruit powers. Searching databanks for possible weakness..." Benjamin beeped again and then said: "Conclusions drawn. Weakness: air."
Benjamin raised both of his arms and held them out in front of him. He did not do this in an aggressive manner, but had his fingers splayed with his palms pointing at Exular. Suddenly the skin on his arms split apart and flipped upwards revealing that it was not skin, but rather a series of metal plates. Then came a sound like a vacuum and the air around Exular's arms began to be sucked into his arms. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Alexander
Phantom attacked first again. He sprang onto Alex's branch and began to hack and slash at the other man. Alex brought his sword back around and began to block as best he could. It was a close match. Despite the intensity of the swings neither man was willing to give even an inch to the other.
The fast paced duel had only lasted for about five seconds when Phantom got an opening. He had been sweeping his sword upwards to block a blow, but that turned into a feint and he instead turned his sword to the side, parrying Alex's blade and forcing it away from his body. Phantom stepped into Alex's guard, intent on landing a cut when without warning a black, scaly, spike-edged wing erupted from beneath one of Alex's white wings. This new wing tore the old one to pieces on its spikes and it shot in at Phantom's chest. Phantom was forced to bring his sword back to block, but was still flung back a couple of feet from the blow.
"What sort of devil fruit did you eat?" Phantom growled after he had managed to regain his balance.
"I ate the Wing-Wing fruit," Alex explained. He flapped his four wings, three of which were angelic and one which was more like a dragon's. "And these ain't all I can do."

| (I'm going to assume that Justin is right-handed)
Wrath was surprised when his target suddenly disappeared right before he reached him. Not knowing the true nature of Justin's movements, Wrath quickly moved backward because he did not want to face the possibility of a surprise attack while standing still. Once he moved back a few meters, Wrath saw how Justin had just contorted his body and was speaking to him with his head between his legs. Obviously, what was most frightening about Justin was the speed and fluidity at which he contorts.
Before Justin got back on his feet, Wrath took a low stance again. He figured that with an opponent with such a long range, it would be best to minimize the area of his body. Wrath had his left foot in front and held his hands in front of his face like a boxing stance, the stiletto still in his left hand, and waited for Justin. When the punch came toward him, Wrath was about to counter with a block with his spiked elbow. If it made contact, Justin's fist would have a deep hole in it.
The punch never came.
While Wrath brought his elbow forward, Justin's body suddenly disappeared again. Again, being unable to spot his opponent, Wrath decided to take no risks. He took several steps backwards while keeping the blocking stance. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough. With Justin's long legs, the kick still reached Wrath before he left his range. Fortunately for Wrath, bringing his right arm forward forced his body to bring his left arm in toward his body. Wrath closed his elbow and tensed it in time so the kick was technically blocked. To dissipate most of the kick's strength, Wrath decided to fall with the kick. He rolled on the ground about three meters and immediately got back on his feet.
Wanting to close the distance between them again, Wrath ran toward Justin. This time, his left hand was holding his stiletto at the same level as his head but was pointing it downward. This would serve to give more flexibility to the counters he could perform with his left hand. Wrath pointed his right elbow to his right and bent it at a 90degree angle in preparation for a downward chop down the middle of Justin's body that would most likely cut him where it hit. He would then follow through on the attack with an elbow strike which could also prove potentially fatal because of the three inch spike at his elbow's tip.

| "Yes... Some pirates may call us weak... Some others may call us strong... Only real battling experience is what is going to show what we really are capable of." John said with his evil voice, while swinging his sword on the sky to perform a slash attack that seemed to have no effect at all that seemed to be something that was just used by him to increase his morality. As soon as he was done with slashing the air, he smiled and said "How about I show you..." and he took his battling stance, prepared to start the battle.
In no time, the "Priest of the Apocalypse" started running towards his enemy with exceptional speed. His sword was looking towards the ground and was carried by John's right hand while he was moving. While running, he was getting more and more prepared to slash his enemy down... And as he reached David, he raised his sword and he attempted to slash him with a diagonical slash at the chest in an attempt to bring him down... The leader of the "Moonstripe" Clan was taking on the First Mate of the "Phantom" Pirates. Who would emerge victorious?

| Exular began to panic slightly. Now knowing that the man was definitely robotic in one way or another, Exular realised that he had a much smaller chance of winning in this challenge. His bullets would be extremely unlikely to pierce the metallic shell of the man unless he managed to somehow get past the metallic shell of the man. After Benjamin finished analysing Exular, Exular began to look at the man as he raised his arms. Exular positioned his pistols in such a way that it looked as if he was about to shoot Benjamin.
Suddenly, Benjamin opened up hatches in his arm and began to suck at Exular's arms. Exular seemed to calm down to a worrying level. He smirked at Benjamin; "You do realise that by sucking, you are sealing your own doom." Exular fired both of his Flintlock pistols, hoping that the sucking movement of the vacuums would direct the bullets into Benjamin himself, or atleast block two of the vacuums.

| Alexander
Alex grinned, a murderous look appearing in his eyes as his white wings slid back into his body. Three more black wings came out to join the first.
"So you can regenerate your own wings without any trouble," Phantom observed.
"Yes and no," Alex replied. "I have to be in the right mood to do it, but I've mastered my emotions so such things are no longer a problem." He moved forward towards Phantom slowly. The other man was pretty far back on the branch and Alex doubted that it would stand up to any more weight. "Ya know, you really have put yourself in a bad position. You do realize that, don't you? I mean, I could always do...this!"
All four of Alex's black wings shot towards Phantom who knocked them aside with his sword. Suddenly Alex jumped and swung his sword down in a powerful overhead blow. Phantom barely brought his sword up in time, but Alex's true intentions were quickly revealed. The branch beneath Phantom's feet shattered into little shards and he was sent tumbling downwards.
Alex's grin widened, but only for a second. Phantom's free hand shot and seized him by the arm. Phantom swung himself around so that his own back was facing the tree and he kicked off from Alex's chest, launching himself towards the tree. Phantom landed on the side of the tree and began running back down towards the ground. He knew that he was at a disadvantage so high up in the air. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Wrath
Justin frowned as Wrath approached. He had really hoped that he could end this battle quickly. This was really becoming troublesome for him. It seemed like sleeping was no longer an option.
The first attack was easy to dodge. Justin sucked in his gut and pulled it back allowing the chop to swipe through open air. The elbow strike was a little harder to avoid. It managed to prick his chest before he flung himself down on the ground on his back. Immediately he kicked upwards with both of his feet at Wrath's chest in an attempt to knock him back. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
John
David raised one of his hands as John came towards him. It almost looked like he was going to try and catch the sword by its blade. Then, as John slashed, something appeared in front of David's hand and John's sword was brought to a sudden stop.
The something that had appeared was a mirror. It wasn't a big mirror, just large enough to bring the sword to a halt. The weird part was that the mirror had not shattered from the blow. In fact, it hadn't even been cracked.
"Surprised?" David asked. "I ate the Eizou-Eizou no mi. I can create mirrors that reflect your attacks with equal force. In other words when your sword hit my mirror it was as if I too had swung a sword with just as much strength as you did. This is how I gained my title as "The Reflector"." ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Exular
Though Exular could not have known this just by staring at him, Benjamin had not merely been pulling in air. In fact, the actual sucking of the air wasn't even intended to be an attack. Within each of Benjamin's arms the air he had gathered up to that point was circulating and picking up speed.
"Fool..." was all Benjamin said as Exular opened fire on him.
That was when some of the air within Benjamin's arms came back out. It didn't come out all at once, but rather a small amount came out in the form of two balls of highly compacted air. Each of these were fired from two of Benjamin's fingers. These two balls of air were both as strong as bullets themselves and each of them struck one of Exular's bullets, deflecting all of the bullets, air and real, off course. Now safe from the danger of the bullets, Benjamin continued to draw in air.
"Your analysis of my abilities is inaccurate," Benjamin told him. "Projection: At current rate, this fight shall end within the next two minutes." ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Surrounding area...
The pirates watching the fights were silent. This was in part because they didn't want to bring the attention of the fighters to them, but also because they were simply shocked that both sides seemed to still be holding up. More than a few of these pirates had expected Alexander to have been killed already. Not only that, but his new crew was still up and fighting, though some of them seemed to be having more trouble than the others.
A few of the pirate captains seemed almost bored with the proceedings. Only the "Iron Maiden" was still completely focused on the battles, though it was hard to tell what she thought about it all. Her face was still hidden behind her mask. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Marines
The area around the pirates had become filled to the brim with Marines and bounty hunters. The Marines had originally tried to shoo the bounty hunters away, but as some of the bigger names started showing up and orders from above ordered the Marines to stand down, the Marines just gave up. Most of those were glad they hadn't been allowed to send the bounty hunters away. They would need all the help they could get with this upcoming fight. They had no idea just how much help that they were about to receive.
"The Reaper Unit has moved into position," a Marine was whispering into his snail phone. "We will await your order to move in."

| "It is a quite interesting power you have there, Mr. Reflector!" the "Priest of the Apocalypse" said as he jumped backwards as soon as his enemy blocked the attack with the usage of his Devil Fruit ability. "A very interesting power. However, I also happen to have tricks under my sleeves... You will find out eventually..." he continued saying as he pointed towards his enemy with his sword once again. He was prepared to start attacking seriously.
The man took his stance while the sword was pointing towards David. He flipped his sword that was being carried by his right hand and the edge was looking down. He grinned and he quickly swang it, while saying "Cross Blade!" to create a cross-looking air blade that was moving towards his enemy with great speed... And so the blade was moving towards David in an attempt to cut him down...

| Wrath knew that his second attack had touched Justin. Wrath followed through by pulling his right arm back to his chest. He was still moving forward when Justin got on the ground and prepared for a kick. The kick was predictable since it required him to bend both legs in order to take aim. A small smile formed on Wrath's mouth.
"Too easy..."
With his stiletto still at his face, Wrath brought down his left arm to try and stab Justin's right foot. With his right elbow still close to him, he thrusted it downward to try and stab Justin's left foot. If his elbow made contact, Wrath would then grab the left foot with his left hand and slice Justin's legs right below his knees with his claws.

| Rupert watched as the people who were his new crew to travel with all engaged in battles, he found himself flinching a few times even though the attacks weren't aimed at him, they still frightened the hell out of him and he didn't want to be part of these fights, these Phantom Pirates seemed like serious pirates. Rupert found Duncan shuddering by his leg scared and picked him up and cuddled him tightly feeling a little afraid too he didn't want to admit it but he felt if one more violent attack was thrown in his direction he might do a little wee and lowered his head closer to Duncan's who licked his face.
Rupert then looked around at all the other pirates and Alex his captain he liked seeing the fighting but never knew it would make him feel so useless. He then turned back to see how his other crew mates were doing but got side tracked as something else caught his eye. Something beautiful.
Rupert paused and felt time slow and everyone around his fade away along with the sounds of fighting. Rupert felt as if only him and the woman from earlier who had showed up where the only two people who existed for this moment in time. He watched as it took what seemed to be an eternity for the woman to get closer. Rupert didn't mind waiting though as it gave him more time to get an eyeful of this stunning beauty who stood before him. He saw her eyes meet his and hoped there was a connection made but wasn't sure.
Rupert was stilling clinging to Duncan tightly till he began barking at him, Rupert so blind sided by this goddess among women didn't hear the barking but felt the pain of teeth sinking in to his arm and screamed dropping Duncan who curled up on the floor and began to lick himself. Rupert looked down at Duncan as he held the bite mark and rubbed it.
"Hi" Rupert looked up to see the woman stood directly in front of him looking at him with her beautifully big eyes and her precious smile he felt his legs melt to jelly but did what he could to stay strong. "H-h-hi" "So your a pirate are you?" she asked smiling at Rupert who was smitten "Yeah" replied Rupert happily gazing into her eyes "I see your planning on joining this winged guy." "Yeah." "He looks pretty strong." "Yeah" "I wonder if he's strong enough to be a match for me." "Yea......w-w-wait....what?" Rupert looked down to see a sickle hanging down from her waist and a chain wrapped around her other arm. "Y-y-your a pirate?" Rupert couldn't believe someone so beautiful could be someone so dangerous. "Yeah." "B-b-but thats my captain" "Yeah seems that way doesn't it?" smiled the woman he'd felt such strong connections for since he's never really had any proper ones before this one. "I can't let you attack my captain." "Oh so your gonna to stop me?" she asked in way which suggested she was thinking, really?! It wouldn't have surprised Rupert if she was considering he was thinking exactly the same and kicking himself twice as hard when the word. "Yea" slipped out from between his lips.
The woman turned picked up her sickle and swung in around in a circle so quickly it became hard to see Rupert gulped down hard before realising he was going to get his ass handed to him by a girl. He shook his heat as he realised, this is going to be humiliating. "Well this is going to be fun." smirked the girl as she threw her hand spinning the sickle at Rupert's head. Rupert let his legs weaken and fell to the floor just avoiding the attack and replied weakly, "Who for?" The woman lowered her hand down to Rupert and managed to cut a small slit in the top of hit hat before it was thrown off of his head Rupert rolled to the side. Duncan stood up and moved further away from Rupert and the woman as she had been nice to him he didn't want to attack her and instead stood afar barking as he watched Rupert clumsily dodge her attacks.
Rupert threw a kick at her hand spinning the sickle but it had no effect and he found himself being punched in the stomach by her chain covered hand. Rupert felt the blow wind him and his eyes bulge as a single gentle tear wept from his right eye. "Ow." The woman then placed her sickle back and left Rupert on the floor in pain. She smirked then said, "Its a shame really I thought you were so cute when I saw you with your dalmatian, its a pity your turned out to be a pathetic pirate." As he turned away to approached Alex and attack her she swung her hair over her shoulder. "I'll show you whose a pathetic pirate muttered Rupert as he stood back up holding his stomach and picked up his hat still feeling pain in his stomach. Rupert charged at her from behind ready to hit her but as soon as he got close her chain covered arm came back his way and grabbed something of great importance for men everywhere. Rupert stopped where he was and felt his eyes widen and pain surge through his body. He could see and feel the pain from all the blokes in the area and wished dearly to swap places with one of them. "Don't try anything or you will lose them both." said the woman before she squeezed tighter then let go and letting Rupert fall to the ground clutching his blue balls between his legs.
The woman then continued walking up to Alex during his fight, Duncan saw this and bowed down whimpering in pain as even he understood what had just happened as she passed by she knelt down and petted him but Duncan still whimpered a bit. Rupert didn't want to get up again but knew he had to, he wasn't going to let his captain and all these pirates see how weak he was, he had already felt like a moron enough times today and said, "Its time this stops." Rupert pulled himself to his feet then rearranged himself and took a deep breath before running half heartedly at the woman.
As he approached he could barely be heard due to his foot steps being light, when he got close his breathing could be heard but it was too late. Rupert had jumped on the woman's back and grabbed her jaw and covered her eyes with his arm. As he landed on her back he felt pain surge up into his body and leant back still tightly clinging to the woman's jaw. As he leant back she came with him falling on top of his testicles. Rupert let out a little scream before pushing her off of him and nursing them.
As Rupert and the woman fell back Duncan covered his eyes at the sound and sight of the crack which echoed loudly.
Rupert then looked down at the woman who was still breathing only something about her looked a slightly odd. Rupert looked for her pulse and found it beating weakly in her neck. He leant over her beautiful body and said, "Are you ok?" he didn't get a response instead he saw her eyes and could tell she was in pain. Her eyes were screaming in agony. Rupert thought back and realised what he had done when he pulled back.
Feeling the pain in his genitals when he leaned back holding her jaw he had managed to seriously damage the woman's spine and paralyse her. Rupert felt bad but knew he couldn't do anything for her. He ran his fingers over her eyes shutting them, then stood up and walked over to Duncan to hug him as he had lost patients before and could deal with it after extensively long cuddles and hugs with Duncan. He had never paralysed someone before so this was a horrible new feeling and he didn't know what to do. |
