Serious: The Clockwork Pirates Chapter 3 Beware the Devil's fruits (This Thread is now closed)

Percy felt something hit him in the back then turned to Uta and stamped down on the sword which he'd thrown at him.
"Congrats Uta you managed to hit me, but lets she how well you do now, when I stop using my doa doa devil fruit and begin using my Marine training. Percy used Soru to speed up behind Uta and launched Rankyaku towards his back.

Percy had trained his devil fruit power so much that it was at a level of ridiculousness. He didn't like using it too much as it didn't really cause enough damage or pain to his enemies as he liked.

Kyren pushed himself back up and tried grabbing hold his scalpel in his holster but found it too hard to do such simple tasks with a backward torso.
Trake tried firing a few shots at Percy but found the rifle empty of bullets and gulped as Percy used soru to shoulder barge him against a cell.

Trake was hit by the shoulder barge and pressed against the bars of a cell, he felt pain surge through his body and didn't want to move again.

Though still weak, Uta managed to use just enough of his own DF powers. Touching the ground he was laying on, Uta activated his powers and broke about six inches of the floor. The rankyaku passed right above him. Uta had to look around for a new weapon...

Hexi listened Wilfred's story. Although he didnt have a face he seemed like an interestig person to listen to, it was weird that he could speak, but this cyborg had some weird mechanical parts, like the inside of clocks. Hexi honestly didnt have any idea of what he was talking about, and also he didnt know where the docks could be, but he would hang out with the robot for now.

"Aaah, I dont really know where the ports are, and no problem for finding you, it was an accident." - Hexi said. - "But I can help you find them, the port I mean, should be somewhere along the coastline."

Kyren, Ken, Deer, Trake & Uta

As Percy's rankyaku passed over Uta's head it rushed towards Kyren and Ken and Deer. Kyren dived to the right out of the on coming attack, Ken side stepped to the left as did deer. Kyren felt weird landing on his back and stomach at the same time and stood back up and charged at Percy.

Percy looked at Kyren charging and as he brought his arms back so he could elbow him hard in the stomach Percy pushed his palm in Kyren's upper back muttering, "Revolving Door." Kyren's body spun back around and the force from his elbows dragged him backwards. Kyren landed on the ground looking up at Warden Percy.

Warden Percy saw he could easily crush Kyren and raised his foot only to bring it crashing back down on top of his neck.

Ken clutched these two cutlasses tightly before using his Katana tama (Katana Bullets) technique launching 4 bullets of compressed air at Percy which all hit him in the chest. Warden Percy lowered his foot away from Kyren to regain his balance. He looked at Ken and smirked as he opened a door and disappeared into it.

Kyren stood up and noticed Percy had dropped his other scalpel Kyren dusted himself off then looked at Trake Deer, Ken and Uta.
"Be careful guys he could come out of anywhere."

Warden Percy opened a door in the floor on the other side of the room, he peered out of it slowly only opening the door a tiny bit before using soru to speed towards Uta from behind. Percy was planning on using a quick strong shoulder barge to knock Uta the devil fruit user into a cell so he would become utterly useless since the bars where all sea stone in every cell. Kyren looked around for Percy but couldn't see him and the same with Ken and Deer.

Trake sat against the bars feeling weak due to the sea stone and hurting from the impact. He opened his eyes half way looking out and around trying to see Percy.

Hexi & Wilfred

Wilfred nodded to Hexi and replied, "Well alright then I suppose we must find the docks then. Why don't you take me to the coast line then Hexi, from there we can run around the coastline till we find it, it may take a while though but I think we've got time to spare I doubt my crew will leave without me."

Wilfred noticed the wings on Hexi's back and was fascinated by them thinking he was a devil fruit user Wilfred inquired, "Hexi are you a devil fruit user? I only ask since I see wings on your back and from living in a world of human and formerly being one I must say I don't ever remembering seeing one with wings unless they were a devil fruit user or there was some sort of party going on, but in that cause the wings we're fake."

Wilfred waited for Hexi to direct him to the coast line so he could fine his crew and hopefully the ship too.

Before Percy reappeared, Uta found another sword and held on to it. Uta obviously was not a hand-to-hand fighter so he needed a weapon.

Unfortunately he had never fought anyone who had mastered soru before. He anticipated an attack but could not predict its direction. However his reflexes allowed him the ability to perform a one-step fang tornado the moment Percy barged into him. Uta spun in the air and stab the sword into the floor as quickly as he could. Using the spinning motion, Uta pulled himself and the sword out of the way of Percy who was still charging. Uta then took the sword, whose tip was mostly dulled, and tried to stab Percy in the back before he got too far.

(Sorry about lateness in posting, guys. -_- Exams have been a bitch. If you wonderful gentlemen don't mind, I'm just going to write Mina very quickly into this sequence.)

The young lady in the sundress, with a pistol in her garter had been running through the prison, attempting to start a riot by provoking prisoners and guards alike.
Mina could feel herself running short of breath, her chest heaving and her long white hair starting to cling to her face- but she refused to give in for a second.
Kyren was injured and he could use all the help that he could get.
Furthermore, if he and the rest of the crew didn't get out of there alive- neither did she.
She shot the lock off of another cell-door, enticing the prisoners to come out into the hallway before bolting down another corridor. Soon the sounds of shouts and explosions signalled that anarchy had, indeed, broken out.

Mother and father would have been proud.

The young gunslinger girl rounded another corner and blinked, a trifle relieved at the sight of Kyren.
"There you are."
He was with group of men (and a deer) whom she presumed were his crew. However her relief was short-lived.
The men were already in fierce combat with one of the prison wardens.

A sword-wielding man used a spinning attack, dodging the warden's charge and attempting to stab his attacker in the back.
Deciding that she'd best help the situation, Mina pulled out her gun, took aim and fired a shot straight into Prison Warden Percy's foot.

Kyren heard someone call out there you are and raised himself up from the floor to see Mina behind Warden Percy arriving on the 2nd floor and smiled.

Warden Percy was surprised to see Uta dodge the attack and barged into Deer knocking him over onto his side. Warden laughed out loud covering up any chances of hearing Mina.

Kyren got to his feet and smiled at Mina, bloody and tired Kyren was happy to see her.

Trake still didn't want to move and remained lying against the cell and remembered Kyren's orders as a doctor to not do anything to strenuous. Trake looked over to the woman who had just come down and smiled, she was very pretty.

Kyren wanted to go and hug Mina but knew this wasn't the time or place and he had only known her for a small amount of time so perhaps this would be seen as too forward. perhaps later if she was still up for joining the crew.

Warden Percy managed to avoid Uta's sword embedding itself into his back and felt great after knocking Deer over who hadn't expected the attack. Warden Percy could feel his chest was bruised from ken's air bullets but nothing more had been done to him, until he felt his big toe burst from a bullet fired by the mysterious ivory haired stranger Kyren had fallen for, Mina Layton.

Warden Percy wailed out in pain and hooped around on his left foot screaming as he looked at Mina Layton as did Deer Trake and Ken. Kyren was already looking at her then realised he should get back to beating Percy.
Kyren turned to see Percy hoping around in pain then slammed his foot down loudly and hard enough to shake the ground and shouted.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Kyren dashed towards Warden Percy with scalpels in hand and leapt on his back where he dug his scalpels into either side of Percy's neck. Kyren whispered into his ears.
"Why don't you ask me how dare I big man?"

Warden Percy froze as his body tilted slightly to the left due to the loss of his big toe thanks to Mina. Kyren then pulled down on his scalpels tearing through his flesh down and either side of his spine till he reached the bottom where Kyren slash in an upward cross popping and breaking through his spinal cord and many platelets along the way.

Warden Percy fell to the floor dead.

Victor pushed himself back with the hand he had placed on Night Light's arm. The light beam missed its original target, but still struck his shoulder, burning his flesh and leaving him in intense pain. As Victor hit the ground, he rolled backwards and came up in a crouch, a agonized look on his face.

As for Molly, she was unable to dodge in time, but instead raised her hammer protectively in front of herself. The hammer blocked the wave of light, but the kick knocked the hammer back into Molly's gut and knocked her back. Like her brother, she rolled away and came up into a crouch. She too looked like she was in pain.

The twins' heads came up and they looked beyond Night Light, staring at each other. As their eyes met, the pain drained from their faces.

"Too fast," Molly commented.

Victor shrugged his shoulder that wasn't damaged. "Only when it's one at a time."

"Together then?"

"Together."

Their words had been exchanged quickly and with only the bare minimum of a pause between each statement. At this last "Together" they each jumped towards Night Light. Molly was silent, not bothering to speak the name of her attack as she used her Grand Slam technique, aiming to sideways blow at Night Light's midsection. Victor jumped into the air once more and kicked towards the opposite side of Night Light from his sister, his leg going towards the man's throat.

Molly & Victor

Night Light saw both brother ans sister rush towards him for an attack as Molly's hammer had protected her from being burnt by the light beam he realised this hammer was pretty strong and that he didn't stand too much of a chance remaining unharmed by such an attack.

Seeing Victor also rushing up to attack him Night Light remembered seeing how strong his kick where earlier. They weren't all that strong so he should be able to take the kick and not be injured or bothered. But then again Night Light thought carefully about what would probably be the best idea instead and also one of the easiest. He had battled against some pretty tough pirates in his life and this brother sister combination where nothing he couldn't handle.

Night light stood perfectly still and tall then took in a deep breath and whispered. "Tekkai" His body became hard and as the attacks impacted his body he didn't give way or even move in the slightest. He could feel the hammer had been a little painful but not strong or painful enough to break him out his tekkai.

Kyren, Mina, Deer, Ken Trake,Wolfgang and Uta

Looking down at the pool of blood which was coming from Warden Percy Kyren sighed then smiled at Mina and looked at Wolfgang. Wolfgang was asleep and it seemed he had been asleep this whole time. Kyren walked over to Wolfgang and shouted in his ear. "WAKE UP!" Kyren then approached Mina and said to her, "Thank you, Mina you, saved us from further torment from that guy. These guys are members of my crew Mina that's Deer, Ken Wolfgang Uta and that guy is Trake he is a prisoner who helped me free them." Kyren pointed out each crew member to Mina then called out, "Guys this is Mina and she is one of the women who helped me break in here. The other two are outside keeping an eye on things."

Kyren looked at Trake and could see he was feeling better, Kyren approached him and lifted Trake to his feet. Trake wanted to prove he was strong enough to walk on his own and removed his arm from Kyren then smiled at him. Kyren smiled back and announced. "Lets get the hell out of here then guys."

Kyren rushed up the stairs from level 2 to level 1 hoping Deer, Ken, Trake, Uta and most of all Mina was following.

Deer, Ken and Trake where following and when they reached level one Ken and Deer where gob smacked by the amount of corpses there where scattered through out the level. Kyren wanted to treat Mina as a thank you but didn't know how since she was the cook he would feel awkward cooking for her but he felt that perhaps paying her for her help would be a better thing to do as he felt bad that he had just asked her to help straight away without offering anything in return.

Mina glowered at Percy when he turned to her, her satisfaction at her own shot immediately being diminished by his shouting.
However, before she could retaliate, Kyren valiantly leapt forward- scalpels at the ready. Mere seconds later, Percy the Prison Warden was no more.

Mina headed down, a grin tugging at her pink lips as she tucked her gun back into her garter. "Nice work," she congratulated, admiringly. Kyren had undeniable skill- there was no doubt about that. Something in the back of her mind told her that it was more than just his skill as a fighter that attracted her to him...and his crew, but she decided to shove that to the furthest corners of her mind until she actually had the time to deal with them- i.e. when they had left the prison.

The young gun-toting cook looked from Deer to Trake to Uta to Wolfgang to Ken and then back to Kyren before addressing the men with a wink and a nod of her head. "A pleasure to meet you all."
She immediately ran after Kyren as he left, catching up with him and looking around as she spoke: "Molly and Victor are still around here somewhere. We'll need to catch them before we leave."

Mina felt a tiredness come into her legs from all the running, fatigue washing over her but determination still pulsing in her veins as she ran beside Kyren. She shot him a smile to ease the tension in his face, adding. "Hey, as far as jailbreaks go, this one has been pretty darn successful."

Kyren looked to Mina who he saw was smiling at her and smiled back she had a pretty smile and he felt kinda grungy due to all of the injuries and blood he was covered in but feeling the bandages which he'd wrapped around his body made him feel a little more civilised as his body and scars weren't all on display for anyone to see and Mina wouldn't see the horrific injury Kyren had sustained in his shoulder, unless she got curious to see why there was soo much blood staining the bandages around his right shoulder.

His wound on his stomach had healed and the bleeding had stopped, but as for his shoulder the blood wasn't drying and seemed to just be seeping through the bandages and trickling down over the rest of them. Kyren placed his scalpels in their holsters then replied to Mina, "Your right as far as jail breaks go this has been a pretty successful one." Kyren then stopped feeling a twinge of pain shoot through his shoulder. He gripped his shoulder and stopped running then looked at Mina and continued to walk to the stairs leading back up to the ground floor.

Kyren looked at Mina and Trake and asked, "Mina, Trake I have a question for the both of you."

Trake looked at Kyren and asked, "What be that Kyren?"

Kyren looked at Trake then back at Mina and asked, "What are your goals in life? Whats do you want to accomplish?"

"It is a pleasure to meet you too, Mina."

Uta held the sword he picked up in his hand as if it were in an invisible scabbard and did a small bow. He then followed Kyren up the stairs.

The first level of the jail looked like someone had wiped the floor with all of the guards. Uta listened intently as Kyren asked his question. Judging by the way he asked it the Clockwork pirate family was about to get bigger.

Uta looked to one of the walls of the room. There was a lift but it seemed to be on the top floor. It obviously was not Kyren and Mina who used it so someone else was already upstairs...

Mina came to a halt beside Kyren but her eyes widened at the rapidly growing patch of blood on his shoulder.
She blinked. "Kyren, what happened to you? You're bleeding...really badly..." In hindsight, it felt like a rather stupid, meaningless, state-the-obvious observation to make, but Mina still felt rather concerned for the Captain's well-being.

But before she could comment any further on his wound, Kyren put a question to her, regarding her goals.
Mina grinned confidently, throwing her hair back over her shoulders. "One day, I plan to become the best cook that the ocean has ever known by learning how to prepare every dish known to man. I collect recipes, you see. I'd also like to, one day, find out who my birth parents were."

Kyren looked at Mina when she asked if he were ok and nodded, "Yea I'm fine just a bullet a stab wound. Its nothing too bad."

Trake heard Kyren's question and thought about it for a few seconds then replied, "I want to be useful to someone." Kyren smiled then laughed and replied, "Trake your already proving useful towards me. You helped me take down that Griffin on level 2."

Kyren listened to Mina's reply too then nodded and smiled at the two of them. "Well then those are now my goals as well. Trake I want you to join my crew and Mina if your still interested in joining, I would love to have you aboard." Kyren felt his shoulder dulling as if the he was loosing feeling.

In his haste he must've wrapped the bandages too tightly and was losing feeling due to this. Kyren unwrapped the bandages and used them to soak up some of the blood which was dribbling down his body. Kyren removed all of the bandages covering his body and noticed all of the wounds were healing but when he was back aboard the Time Goes with his crew he would most likely need Delphi to patch him back together as the wounds weren't fully healed yet.

Victor dropped back to the ground and Molly's hammer was knocked back by the tekkai. While Victor was not feeling any pain, since he had not been straight out kicking but rather was trying to hook Night Light's throat with his leg, Molly's hands were a little bit jarred from the deflection.

"Above," Molly told her brother.

"Below," Victor confirmed.

Molly raised her hammer and brought it down towards Night Light with all of her strength. Though she was not quite sure how Night Light had blocked her first attack, she was hoping that he would not be able to hold up to her Four Ton Hammer technique, though admittedly her hammer had lost some weight and it was now more like Three point Nine Ton Hammer.*

While Molly was doing this, Victor dropped down and fell backwards and to the side. He caught himself with his uninjured arm and balanced the rest of his body with it. From this position he unleashed a two-pronged kicking attack. One of his legs was going towards Night Light's legs and the other was aimed towards Night Light's gut section. His attack was just a touch slower than Molly's, but only just. This was so that Victor would not accidentally push Night Light out of the way of his sister's attack, which he knew was much more powerful than his own.

(OOC: *Molly's hammer is not four tons in weight. It's not even one ton, but it is still heavy and with Molly's strength, she can make this attack the equivalent of Four Tons of force.)

Night Light smiled as Molly and Victor's attacks failed to do any damage to himself then felt one of his legs become weak as the back of one of his legs was kicked. Night Light fell downwards as he felt the other kick land on his gut he also was pushed back a little bit and lay on the floor on his back.

He hadn't been paying enough attention to notice such an attack and was surprised by it. Night Light landed on the ground hard and saw the hammer speeding towards his face. Unable to use a light power quick enough to stop Molly's hammer Night Light tried rolling to the right out of the way.

As Night Light tried rolling to the right to avoid getting injured he was a little bit too late moving and pain surged through his body as the hammer made contact with Night Light's left upper arm.

He hadn't expected it to hit him and now that he did the first thing to come to his mind was how much he had underestimated this brother and sister team.
He wasn't done just yet though.

Night Light gritted his teeth to stop him from screaming and clenched his right fist tightly, it lit up brightly and his hand even began shaking. Night Light closed his eyes and raised his fist then opened it up. As his fist opened the light in his hand exploded like a flash bang grenade, this would causes temporary blindness.

Molly smirked and Victor felt an inward glow of victory, but as they were moving in on Night Light to take him out, the light in his hand exploded. The twins came to a stop as the blindness settled in. Then Molly realized what was happening and she quickly swung her hammer down at the space where she thought Night Light was, once more using her Four Ton Hammer technique.

For his part, Victor was a little bit slower on the uptake. Then he figured it out and he jumped straight up above the space where he had last seen Night Light and he kicked downwards towards him.

As the light in his fist exploded and Molly raised her hammer Night Light slipped out from underneath it and away from both of Victor and Molly's range. Night Light in fact moved behind both Molly and Victor and pointed a finger each at both of their heads then muttered. "Time to be skewered by my light beam." Night Light fired two very powerful beams of light at both of Molly and Victor's heads.

Night Light had plans for both of these attackers and they were not pretty, what he had planned would not be fun for either Molly or Victor.

Mina smiled at his attitude. Normally the best of pirate captains would only accomodate their nakama's goals while focusing on their own, (the worst of them ignoring their crewmates' goals completely). But Kyren was actually willing to take the goals of his new recruits on board.

The white haired cook grinned, nodding her head to him. "Well that response to my goal has just convinced me completely! You're an honourable captain, Kyren...and I'd be honoured to be your official crew's cook..."
"And you're a wonderful man, too, Kyren,"Mina thought silently to herself. She reached out to shake his hand but withdrew it quickly, noticing the numbness starting to come over his arm.
She watched him unravel his bandages and her eyes widened. His wounds were intense. He had taken more than a single bullet wound and stab wound.

Mina looked from Trake to Kyren and then to the other men. "We should get Molly and Victor and get the Hell out of here before any of us keel over, get ambushed by inmates or get caught by another wave of wardens..."

"Wait...I can't see," Victor muttered, finally understanding what had happened.

"Shut up!" Molly snapped, hearing something. Her eyes widened as she realized what Night Light had just said. "GET DOWN!"

Molly and Victor fell to the ground and the beams shot over them.

"What is it?" Victor called back. "What did he do? Can you see?"

"No," Molly replied, standing back up. "No...I'm just as blind as you are."

She fell silent, her ears strained for any sound that might indicate that Night Light was attacking. Any mistakes at this point could prove fatal to both her and her brother. Her hands tightened on the hilt of her hammer as she thought about what Night Light had said about having fun with her. How DARE he try something like that? And him, a Marine! If Night Light had been intending to make her disgusted with the Marines, he had succeeded.

Molly & Victor

Night Light saw both Molly and Victor duck and smiled knowing he now had them, they could barely see and there only way of finding him would be their hearing. Night Light used soru to speed between both of Molly and Victor where he ducked between them then threw his arms out to his sides and made a wall of light on either side of him, he muttered Light Smash and brought his tightly clenched fists into each wall smashing them and letting all the light from both walls shatter and fall towards Molly and Victor.

Kyren, Deer, Ken, Mina, Trake & Uta

Kyren looked at Mina who said he was an honourable Captain and that she would love to be his cook. Kyren smiled at her, "Well I'm sure we'll be happy to have you as part of our crew Mina." Kyren agreed that they should go help Molly and Victor and replied, "Guys Mina is right we should get out of here and help Molly and Victor, then we can get to the ship and of this island. I'm a bit upset we're going to miss out on the festival but the safety of my crew is more important."

Kyren then began walking back up to the entrance of the prison holding his shoulder as it stung, the blood was all drying up but it still stung, the wound was no longer bleeding though. As he reached the top floor he looked around seeing that there was no one here and that it was safe to escape.

Until he looked through the hole which Molly had made in the wall to see Molly & Victor fighting against some guy. He wanted to help but wasn't sure his body could handle another fight.

Trake started unraveling his bandages, getting faster and faster until he was ripping at them.
"Hey Kyren!" He shouted as he charged up to where Kyren stood, dropping the bloodied bandages. He halted next to Kyren, breathing heavily from the exertion. Blood dribbled from his wounds that were slowly closing.
"I'm not going to feel my wounds 'til this adrenalin wares off, so until then I can help your crew out-even though there are more useful bodies," He nodded back to the rest of the crew.
"So I'll help, but on one condition-" he paused and grinned.
"-You got me into this so you're gonna get me out. I'm joining crew Mr. Kyren whether you like it or not."
His grin widened and he gave Kyren a friendly punch on the shoulder, before realising it was his damaged one and apologising.
"Just remember, if you go into the hole you'll have the backing of the crew. So let's kill that bastard!"
Trake laughed manically pointed into the hole.

Neither Molly nor Victor could have foreseen what was about to happen.* All they heard was movement and they tensed up in preparation for his coming attack, not expecting its true nature. The shards of light began pelting them and each was knocked back.

Victor threw up his hands in front of his face to protect it. He was driven back, the light cutting into his skin. He fell backwards and hit the ground, unconscious.

As Molly was driven back, she brought up her hammer to block. Doing this protected her from the remainder of the shards, but her hammer was badly damaged, with dozens of tiny holes all over the top of it. She stumbled and fell to her knees, but unlike her brother she was not knocked out.

(OOC: *Especially since they were blind! Yohohohohohohohohoho! Oh, and just how temporary is this blindness?)

Night Light looked down at both Molly and Victor he could see Victor wasn't moving and smiled, he turned to look at Molly whose hammer was badly damaged, there were many holes in it. Night Light could see Victor's pale white skin and noticed this man was an albino then turned to Molly who by comparison was much more tanned.

Night Light began charging up his finger which was pointed at Molly he could see Victor's body bleeding due to all the cuts on his body, then looked back at Molly who looked in pain.
"I'm going to have some real fun with you now."

Seeing Trake tearing his bandages off Kyren smiled he liked seeing his enthusiasm.
"Its great to see your so enthusiastic to help me Trake and you don't have to force me to take you into my crew I like you and think your a strong guy. But you could be stronger and I'll be happy to help you get stronger, but as for now we've got to get back to the ship, then we can make proper introductions."

Seeing this weird man with light on the end of his finger Kyren was confused what this was and looked further outside of the hole to realise it was Victor. He felt bad about asking them to join him breaking his crew out as they seemed to be getting beaten badly. Kyren wasn't about to let this brother sister due be beaten even if he was in such bad pain.

He wasn't about to let the kindness of strangers get wasted,
"leave them ALONE!" shouted Kyren as he charged at Night Light as fast as his injured body would let him.

Night Light heard the footsteps and shouts from Kyren and turned to see him coming his way, he launched off the beam of light at Kyren's torso where it exploded on impact causing smoke to form.
Happy that he had accomplished what the entire prison had failed to do Night Light slicked back his hair and looked back at Molly he liked strong women.

As the smoke cleared Kyren was revealed to be unscathed other than his already obtained wounds and kneeling on the ground clutching at his scalpels tightly one in each hand. The light beam had hit the wall and caused it to crumble.

Deer, Ken, Mina, Trake and Uta could all now offer a helping hand if it was needed due to the majority of the wall being destroyed.

As part of the roof crumbled and fell to the ground Night Light's attention was grabbed in time for him to see them all standing there as the smoke cleared followed by a blood streaked Captain Kyren Antler kneeling on the ground.

"Your fight is with me, not them."
Night Light looked at Kyren smiling. "The Clockwork Captain, how nice to meet you. I'm sorry to say this will be our first and final meeting."
"Someone's a little sure of themselves."
Night Light's smile faded as his body began to glow brightly, Kyren dashed towards Night Light only to find it harder to see. Kyren shut his eyes as the light got too bright.

Night Light was using a Light Explosion attack, his body was getting brighter and brighter until it would have to explode releasing a large burst of light in all directions. As Kyren reached him Night Light threw a punch at Kyren and due to his eyes being closed he felt a punch make contact with him.

Kyren had began using his Fist Blade technique and his left fist and scalpel had dug into Night Light's fist straight between the knuckles. The scalpel was dug so far in their knuckles touched and blood began dribbling from Night Light's knuckle, followed by blood spurting out from Night Light's waist at great pressure.

Kyren's right hand had punched into Night Light's side and cut straight through the front of Night Light's waist. He froze for a second as his body drained of blood and he felt the scalpel leave his skin. Night Light's body exploded as a last resort hoping to take Kyren with him for doing such a thing to him. His arm still hurt from Molly's hammer but that would heal as for this latest cut this wouldn't heal and his only chance to survive would be surgery right now.

As Night Light exploded Kyren was knocked back by the small explosion as it was weaker due to Night Light's life draining away. As Kyren landed on his back near his crew's feet Night Light's body now unilluminated fell to the floor still spurting out blood violently.

Being the good doctor he was Kyren wasn't about to let this person die, even if he had been trying to get in his way. Kyren crawled towards Night Light and removed the roll of bandages from his satchel and unrolled them quickly trying to push against the strong pressure pushing back to stop the blood gushing out. Night Light was breathing heavily and looked down at Kyren wondering why he was trying to save him then laid back down passing out.

Kyren managed to hold the last wrap of bandages over the slash wound and stop the bleeding. Once the bleeding stopped Kyren called out, "Grab our discarded bandages and bring them here." He could feel his own life wanting to seep away.

Ken and Deer watched as Kyren tried to save this man's life as strange as it was they didn't interrupt and when he ordered for someone to grab his and Trake's discarded bandages Ken grabbed them quickly and ran over to him handing Kyren the bandages.

"Thanks Ken." Kyren then unwrapped the bandages with his left hand while he held down the others with his right then began using the bandages to wrap up Night Light, sure it was unhygienic but since there were no more this would have to do for now. As Night Light was bandaged up and unconscious Kyren tried standing up but fell to the ground again.

Ken grabbed Kyren and helped him to his feet then smiled at him. Kyren smiled back then looked around at his crew.

"Great to see all you guys again, right Deer, Ken, Mina, Trake, Uta this is Molly and Victor there brother and sister and offered to help me too, I still need to find Wilfred and Delphi though but hopefully they'll meet us at the ship. Deer can you carry Molly and Victor to the ship? I can patch them up there."

Deer rushed forward and picked Victor up placing him on his back and replied, "Nice to meet you Molly, are you joining our crew?" Kyren looked at Deer asking and at Molly, Trake and Uta then ordered. "Lets head to the docks then."

Injured and bleeding badly but back with the majority of his crew Kyren slung his arm around Ken and couldn't wait to get back aboard his ship and back to his good old self. He hoped Molly and Victor would want to join him but that was there own choice to make and he wasn't going to force them to choose.

Hexi & Wilfred

After a while of searching for the docks due to Wilfred's height of 8 ft he spotted some sails with the well known Clockwork flag sitting atop the mast. "There's my ship Hexi would you like to join me aboard the ship? I can ask my captain about having you aboard if you want. I'm sure he'll be happy to have you aboard."

Trake went over to help Kyren when he called for bandages, but as he was walking back to the bandages, a small object attached to a dead marine's hand lay where it had been hidden before more of the wall was destroyed.
Trake stooped down and looked at it. It was a small, silver shield that had been cracked down the center. Both pieces fell apart as he picked it up-the shield was only about two inches high and an inch wide. He pulled the chain it was attached to from the dead man's grip looked around as he pushed it into his pocket, hoping no one saw.

Ken had already grabbed the bandages so he returned to the Kyren to take his other arm and help him to his feet, though he was lost in thought about the shield. "It would be a coincidence if it was...No..It can't be..But if it is..." he mumbled to himself as he pulled Kyren to his feet. Then he turned to the captain. "I'm sorry sir but I may not join your crew yet, but I would appreciate if you dropped me off on an Island, though it is in The Noelle Family area and is a very dangerous place. Could you do it? I can pay you back Mr. Kyren."
