Serious: The Clockwork Pirates Chapter 3 Beware the Devil's fruits (This Thread is now closed)

"Yeah, I am not from around here, I'm a... Traveler." -Hexi said, not revealing he was a pirate for obvious reasons.

Hexi nodded at Jones' petition of taking a look and stayed looking directly at how he did it, it was cool how some persons could just open a robot and fix it with their eyes closed, people like Hexi only had basic knowledge about it. Hexi only knew about dials and weather science, but he liked to read, and so he had learnt lots of things from the blue seas too.

Hexi saw how the pieces inside started moving slowly, and slightly faster with each second that passed. Hexi looked at Jones when he said the machine was some kind of cyborg, that had brain and heart. Hexi looked strangely at the cyborg and it suddenly stood up.

It asked questions, one after another. Hexi really didnt know what to answer.

"Ahh... Well, you see... I found you in the ocean, the hook fom my fishing rod got stuck in you and I brought you out, and This man here fixed you." -he paused and then continued.- "My name is Hexi, who aryou, and what are you looking for?"

Kyren & Trake

The griffin tried standing up to leap on to Trake but as he did his hind legs collapsed and he caught himself on his front legs. Kyren fell from his back leg and looked up to see the griffin crawling towards Trake trying to bite him.

The griffin looked down at Trake and tried biting at him until he experienced the shock of Trake's Spring Punch technique which hit him square n the jaw. The griffin didn't go down just yet though, the griffin felt dazed and stumbled to the side leaning against the wall.

Kyren saw this huge creature lean against the wall and figured Trake was doing a good job on his own. "Trake you deal with this griffin, you seem to be doing rather well as it is already. I'm going to check the cells for my crew."

Kyren ran into the archway nearest the griffin which was the one at the back on the right, as he ran through the archway he saw 2 cells. Kyren looked in to see many prisoners all reaching out for Kyren begging for him to free them. Kyren wanted to help them and just replied simply.
"I would do if I had the keys, but I'd be careful if I were you. Theres a griffin out there."
Kyren heard back a few remarks about how they know and questions about how he had managed to get down here with such ease until they saw the amount of blood which covered his back. Kyren saw no one in either of these 2 cells, and rushed to the next set on the right hand side of the room.

n the next set is where Kyren saw the man who had held the bazooka and he noticed there was no more ammo left. Kyren searched his body and moved him to a safer place where the griffin couldn't peck at his remains. To Kyren's surprise he found the keys to the cells on this man.
"well well, lucky me." Kyren picked up the keys and rushed back to the first cell to unlock it.

Prisoners came pouring out and rushing up the stairs cheering and praising Kyren until they came to the griffin the majority of them hide in the archway apart from about 3 who tried their luck and were crushed by the griffin's stumbling paws.

Kyren rushed back to the middle archway avoiding the griffin's footsteps and noticed Ken in one of the cells. Quickly Kyren unlocked the door and once again came prisoners who rushed out and up the stairs safely as they were to far for the griffin to reach. Ken was the only one left in the cell after the cheering crowd stormed out. Kyren had unlocked all of the prisoners cuffs who he'd free so far. He approached Ken and removed his cuffs.

"Good to see you again Ken, I hope you didn't lose hope in me and think I wasn't coming to get you. I would give you your swords buddy but as far as I remember you were captured on the ship so I doubt your swords are even in the prison, I'd assume there still on the ship, which thankfully is at the docks. So your going to have to find something to use."

Kyren ran out once again back into the open holding the key and said, "Ken you head to the arch way next to us I'm going across to the other side."

The cells in the archway Ken was headed to there were no Clockwork Pirates only prisoners who had bounties of 5,000 and above.

Kyren rushed into the arch way closest to the stairs back up to level one on the left and found not clockwork pirates but more prisoners one of which who he knew. He saw her sitting towards the back of the cell on her own and knew that she wasn't someone who'd been captured instead she was someone who was in here for a reason. Kyren froze for a second then swallowed as she turned her eyes to make eye contact with him. Kyren then rushed off quickly to check the next 2 archways.
All the while he searched the middle archway thoughts ran through Kyren's head.

Why was she here? What did she have planned? Why did he have to know her? Why were they raised together?

As Kyren reached the last archway closer to the griffin which was dazed and dealing with Trake Kyren saw just who he was looking for on the 2nd level in the last archway on the left. Kyren quickly unlocked the cell door and all of the prisoners hand cuffs who exited running in fear before the griffin rushed back up to attack them.

Kyren saw Wolfgang and unlocked his cuffs too then asked him, "How the hell are you buddy? Haven't lost faith in your captain have you?" Kyren smiled at him.

Hexi & Wilfred

Wilfred looked at both Jones and Hexi with intrigue he found hexi more interesting though as he was the first to answer and mentioned about dragging him from the water. He then looked at Jones who replied, "I'm Jones I'm the engineer who just put you back together matey, anyway I best be on my way, there's a bottle of jack in town with my name on it. Jones then headed off into town smiling cheerfully to himself as he waved to both Hexi and Wilfred.

"Thank you Jones and enjoy your Jack, so Hexi I believe you said your name was you are the one who found me I must say thank you very much for doing so I am very grateful."

Wilfred was still thinking about what Jones had said and something about a bottle of Jack he didn't know how you could drink a bottle of someone called Jack but he just decided to ignore it since he couldn't eat or drink it would never be anything to ever crop up in his life he was sure of.

"I am Wilfred and I was on a ship with my crew last thing I knew then I woke up here, I know it sounds a bit strange but all I remember was a strange man joining us aboard our ship a little fight with Marines then waking up here, I would say I must've drifted off but doing such a thing whilst steering a ship is a ghastly thing to do and simply do not understand how I could've done such a thing."
Wilfred looked left then right then back at Hexi.

"Would you happen to know where the docks are, I wish to climb back aboard my ship to see if I can find my crew, the Clockwork Pirates, I don't if you've heard of them, I doubt it since they're not very famous, we only all got together about 2 weeks ago I think if memory serves me well enough. I am the saboteur and what seems to be the helmsman. No one complains about me steering the ship and I enjoy doing such a simple leisurely task."

If he could Wilfred would be smiling but since his cyborg body lacked a face he couldn't and so did not.

Trake gave Kyren a mock salute hunched in front of the griffin as it charged him.
He gave out a loud roar as his legs pushed him forward. He shot forward on spring legs.
As he was nearing the griffin, he grabbed a large rock that he was only able to carry due to his momentum. He sped at the griffin, twisting his body at the last moment and letting momentum do the rest.
The boy crashed into a wall but the large rock smashed into the startled beast's head, splintering on contact.

Kyren, Trake, Ken & Wolfgang

The griffin felt the impact of the rock as it crashed into his head it caused his head to push back on his neck and the momentum pushed his head down towards his neck hard. As his head was pushed down the griffin remained silent and fell unconscious against the wall. the griffin slumped and slid down the wall. It lay there with rubble sprawled over its face and blood dribbling from its forehead down to its beak. Its eyes hurt and feathers were ruffled as it sank to the ground it was revealed to have its wings cut off.

Kyren looked out as the creature fell to the ground and saw the wings had been removed, he muttered to himself. "Poor creature." Kyren wanted to help him but knew it would only get in his way if he tried helping it and knew there were more important matters as of right now. He couldn't hang around or even help the griffin if he wanted to as he didn't have the medical supplies he would've needed to help such a creature.

Trake used the wall to help himself to his feet, he looked sympathetically at the great creature that now lay still. He stumbled over to it, bent over and plucked one of the fallen feathers off the floor. It was inserted into his pocket and he took one more look at the griffin.
He stumbled into Kyren's direction, with a hand on his bleeding leg and another on the wall for support.

the events currently had been a blur to ken, he had fallin asleep and woken abrutly by noises from the above level.. the next minute he was fully conciuos when he heard his captain taalking to him. his cuffs were unlocked and he was free. about to thank his captain he quickly noded to his following orders and started toward the archway until he saw the man with kyren. giving a questioning look to him, then to kyren, and then to the griffin. 'mustive been out for a little longer than i thought.' turning to the archway he said "good luck..." with that he began his search through the archway. "no, no, no... no" he muttered as he checked each cell. still a bit dazed he checked the archway over again before heading back out.

silence, deep depressing silence,

that was all deer heard now. the noise of battle above had been loud enough for him just to hear, but now it was over. "only 2 outcomes, they won or lost" he said to himself. the guards were increasing around him. 'that must mean...' and for the first time in awhile, deer gave a genuine smile.

The man in front was let out of his cuffs. He looked at Trake quizzically but the boy just gave a lazy mock salute with his free hand as the other was occupied by leaning on the wall to keep him upright. Blood drenched his clothes and body. The boy was not in a good condition but kept following Kyren nevertheless.
"So where to now, Mr.Kyren?" grunted Trake, his lungs in pain as they battled against his many broken ribs.

Kyren looked at Ken then at Trake and said, "Right Ken first things first this boy here is Trake he as a prisoner and he has offered to help us I had also made friends with 3 others a woman upstairs who is a pretty good sharp shooter so you may have to watch your back Wolfgang and a brother and sister who seem slightly odd but they are strong. Any way we've got to head down to the 3rd level as I think thats where Uta and deer are being held, as for wilfred annachie and Delphi I have no idea they are on the island somewhere the ship is docked at the docks so lets just get us out of here now then find them later ok?"

Kyren then looked at his crew and turned to rush down to level 3, level 2 had been surprisingly easier than he had thought but it probably helped he had assistance from Trake. "Anyway come on guys lets head down, we need to free Uta and Deer." Kyren approached the top of the stairs and stopped. He reached into his satchel and pulled out a bandage which he quickly applied to his shoulder to stop the blood pouring out so badly. "Right , its time we head on down. Ken Wolfgang sorry for the lack of weapons but if you two want to head upstairs there's a large variety of weapons up there from swords to guns from the guards me and Mina took down."

Kyren waited at the top of the stairs for their replies then all of the sudden realised what he stupidly hadn't noticed before. "Trake your a Devil fruit user?"

"right." ken said with nod, "be back in a sec" with that he ran upstairs. suprisingly fast for somone who was just kept in a cell. in no time flat he was upstairs and looking around for a sword. finding two marine cutlasses he picked them up and weighed them in his hand before looking at the battle field. smirking ken said "ive been out for too long, ive missed all the fun." in another flash he ran back down ready for battle with a sword in each hand. "lets get our freinds outta here"

Trake gave a hoarse chuckle, coughing up a little blood.
"No duh Mr. Kyren!" Trake laughed.
He straightened himself up a bit more.
"Let's go save this crew of yours, but in return for my help-I want a 4 course meal!" He laughed, wiped a stream of blood from the corner of his mouth. He gently pushed the men out of the way and started hobbling down the stairs.

Kyren saw how youthful Trake was and it made him laugh he liked his eagerness and when he ran down the stairs Kyren shook his head and called out. "Trake don't go down there yet. We have to be careful with what we do." Kyren felt better now that he was patched up and thought about Molly, Mina and Victor up above. he hoped they were safe and in no need of assistance and if they were he would help them as soon as he could.

Kyren saw Ken rush off to collect swords and liked seeing that his spirit hadn't been damaged whilst he was there. Kyren held his scalpels in his hands and began spinning them in his hands quickly.

"Its nice having a fight along side my crew, after all this will be the first proper fight I've had opposing the Marines. the last battle we had I was ill thanks to that bounty hunter now here we are about to head on down into level 3." Kyren smiled at both Ken and Wolfgang then continued.
"lets go break them out.

Kyren began walking down the stairs and tried to push Trake behind him to stop him from running into the dangers which would find his body, they would probably mistake him for Kyren but feel no regret for him as he was still a pirate. Kyren didn't know what awaited him but didn't want any more injuries.

The third floor had a pretty basic layout. When you came down the stairs you would find yourself between two hallways; one branching left and the other to the right. Several cells were lined against these walls, all containing high level criminals locked individually to prevent them from killing each other. At the end of each hallway was a turn that led straight. The two hallways then converged down this path and merged into a final hallway. At the end of the hallway was a large iron door. Behind the door were the cells holding Uta and Deer as well as anyone else suspected of being a devil-fruit user. In front of the door stood Lieutenant Gin and his marine unit who had just heard of the defeat of the griffins.

"Men, at any minute the intruders will be descending down the stairs to this level. You are to split into two groups, one inside of each of the hallways leading to this door. As there are 30 of you here I will make this simple. 10 swordsmen are to stand in front of 5 riflemen. You are not to let any man woman or beast pass your lines. Am I understood?"
"SIR, YES SIR!"

Trake let Kyren push past.
He was tired. He hadn't eaten for a while and was quite injured-though a lot of the now drying blood on him came from a griffin lying on the second floor. He turned to see Kyren's crewmates following behind with swords. Trake grinned. He loved it when he was useful. It was a better charge than adrenalin. He suddenly felt new energy well up inside at the thought.
"And now we beat the crap out of marines," He whispered to no one in particular with a massive grin on his face.

As Kyren reached the bottom floor he looked down the left corridor then down the right corridor and decided, "Right I'm going down the left corridor you guys can go either way you want." Kyren then walked down the corridor spinning his scalpels. Kyren looked from side to side at the prisoners who were silent compared to the ones on the upper levels.

Kyren liked the silence and as he strolled on down the corridor he had time to get his breath back, he could see the odd prisoner looking at him with surprise probably surprise that he was walking so freely. Kyren's body had been pretty badly beaten but he didn't care, as long as his crew were freed he would be happy. Kyren kept an eye out as he walked past the cells he peered into them checking to see if either Deer or Uta were in either.

Kyren found himself face to face with many guards down the corridor and from what he could see this corridor wasn't all that wide so the only place he had to run was backwards not that he could run. Kyren could see 10 swordsmen in front of 5 men brandishing rifles, he smiled then began charging towards them slowly at first getting quicker and quicker until he was close enough to leap. Kyren leapt towards the centre of the group of swordsmen and as he flew through the air he tried slashing his scalpels across the necks of two of them to get rid of them as quickly as he could manage.

ken walked down the stairs carefully, could be rigged for traps. reaching the bottom flight he walked the opposit corridor of kyren, cover more ground that way. checking for deer or uta he came face to face with 15 guards, and 5 guns pointed at him. grinning he through one sword across the room behind them. "tsuin kenkaku" he wispered, grinning as he heard the sound of gunfire.

the soilders opposite him dodged out of the way of the sword as it flew past. opening fire they were shocked when the pirate dissapeared. seeming to fade when hit. suddenly they heard a voice behind them "right behind you" and with a slash aimed straight at two soilders backs.

Trake heard the gunfire from the other corridor. He slowly followed Kyren into the corridor. Men armed with swords faced them followed by a row of riflemen.
"Aw crap," Trake hissed as he stepped into the marine's line of site. "Here we go again."
Trake started running towards the swordsmen and bounded over them, almost hitting his head on the roof. He landed the somersault with a dynamic entry of landing on one of the riflemen's heads. When he jumped up to continue, however, he had 4 guns trained on him in a circle.
He went on to his knees.

When the smoke cleared from the explosion, Molly was nowhere to be seen. It was almost as if she had been completely wiped out in that one attack.

"MOLLY!" For the first time, a look of true horror crossed Victor's hidden features and entered into his voice. "No...NO!" He didn't even see the Marines being knocked down by their own ally. Had things happened differently, that might have surprised and disgusted him. "You..." Victor turned towards Night Light, his hands tightening into fists. "...I'll never forgive this...my sister...HOW COULD YOU?"

With that Victor dashed forward. He twirled and flipped as best he could, his body rarely staying on the ground for more than a second as he rushed Night Light. Getting hit by that beam was something that he wanted to avoid at all costs.

Kyren & Trake

Kyren saw Trake land and get surrounded by gunmen as the two swordsmen whose necks he'd sliced fell to the floor clutching their necks. "Giving up already kid?" asked Kyren in a jokingly tone. Kyren stood up as 2 swordsmen thrusted at him from either side. Kyren stepped back as the swords clashed in front of his stomach. Kyren turned towards his right and used Punching Slash as hi dug his right fist holding the scalpel into the man's cheek he dug his left into the man's lower neck just above his chest then tore it out ripping out through his neck. Kyren's left hand which tore out then swung around to the other man who had thrusted his sword at Kyren.

Kyren's left hand and scalpel cam into contact with the man's chin then sliced up across his face diagonally cutting through his right eye. both men fell to the floor in pain bleeding. The man who had his eye cut tried swinging his sword at Kyren.

Kyren ducked then dug his scalpel into the man's wrist which made him let go of his sword. Standing up again Kyren used, Heart Stopper on the next swordsman who came his way swinging his sword above his head. As his attack came into contact with the swordsman's chest the sword was dropped and the man was knocked back into 2 of the guards with rifles.

5 swordsmen down 5 to go, Kyren looked at the remaining swordsmen and as two more slashed one up one down Kyren raised his foot as the sword came to his legs and stomped on the side of the blade as it came to his ankles.

Kyren slammed his foot down knocking the swords from the guards hand, then he saw the other swordsman swinging towards his face and leant backwards, as he leant back his wound on his stomach stung. "arrgh!" Kyren fell back and landed on his back. the two swordsmen who had attacked him point their swords at Kyren's chest.

Looking up at both of the swordsmen Kyren felt his scalpels still in his hands and saw the glimmer of evil spread across these men's faces. Scalpel Stick the scalpels in Kyren's hands were thrown at the men, one scalpel stuck in ones neck the other missed.

The men both thrusted their swords at Kyren's chest, Kyren pushed his hands together on the blades and hard as he could to stop them, the blades stopped short of Kyren's chest and he began trembling due to the extreme amount of strength it took him.

The swordsmen pushed harder and Kyren's grip began to give way until he couldn't hold them anymore, his left had let go.
The swords launched forwards and Kyren's right hand pushed them to the side quick enough for them to hit the ground beside his head. relieved Kyren swung his foot up to kick both men away from the swords. and stood up.

The men both stumbled back then looked back to Kyren who was holding their swords, he swung the swords towards the 3 swordsmen still with swords. his attack was blocked and he was pushed back against the two others who were unarmed. Kyren stabbed the swords down into their feet then thrusted at the other 3.

One of the blades impaled a guards thigh the other impaled a guards bicep and Kyren let go to use, Heart Stopper on the third guard.

The third guard froze due to the shock of the attack as it had cracked his ribs. Kyren then looked at the 4 remaining guards as the two unarmed ones removed the swords and once again they all were armed.

Kyren looked around at each one of them as he felt blood dribble down from his wound that he had bandaged up. Kyren wasn't sure what to do and gulped as a sword was swung for his head and another was thrusted from behind him for his stomach. Kyren ducked to avoid getting his head slashed but instead was stabbed from behind, the blade instead didn't go through his stomach but his shoulder where the bullet had gone through.

Kyren screamed in pain as the sword tore through flesh and blood spilt out as did the remains of the bullet. The swordsmen smiled as they saw Kyren in pain and bleeding heavily. Kyren pulled himself forward holding in the pain and swung a well aimed heavy punch directly into the swordsman who had stabbed him's face knocking him back against the wall.

His anger had gotten the better of him something he didn't let happen on a regular basis and Kyren saw the other 3 swordsmen was surprised. Kyren grabbed the other man he'd disarmed before he took back his sword by the throat and swung him around throwing him into the other two men. All three of them were banged into the wall then further pummelled by Kyren's fists of fury.

Molly & Victor

Night Light looked at the terrified albino charging at him and smirked, he fired 3 much weaker beams of light beneath Victor hoping he would launch himself into the air. Not because he was planning on shooting him in the air though. Night Light called out, "You should be happy your sister is gone now, she will no longer have to suffer through this life." His voice was nasty and dull.

Night Light remained standing still looking at Victor through eyes of excitement, he couldn't wait to castrate this guy and leave him a dull lifeless piece of flesh for the griffin he was sure no one could get past on level 2.

"SHUT-UP!"

Victor dove through the beams, avoiding the first one, but being cut on his leg and the side of his chest by the other two. Despite his injuries, he hardly even slowed down. His body spun and he launched himself up directly in front of Night Light's face, throwing a kick at said face.

Victor

Night Light looked up to Victor and saw his foot coming for him out of the side of his eye but didn't make his move until his foot got closer. As Victor's foot got closer and nearly hit him Night Light ducked quickly forcing his hand up to grab hold of Victor's genitals. Night Light knew this could and would cause great pain and smirked since this is what he was all about.

Causing pain and discomfort.

Victor's own hand shot out, instinctively protecting his weak point. He caught Night Light's hand and balanced himself with just his one arm, holding himself in the air. His hood had fallen back and his expression was one of absolute disgust.

Victor was about to say something when he heard a familiar voice say, "Get away from my brother you sick, twisted, PERVERT!"

Molly burst seemingly out of thin air behind Night Light. Her clothing had been blackened slightly and the bases of the legs on her pants looked a little frayed. For the most part, however, she looked fine, not to mention incredibly furious. Her hammer looked the worst of anything. A decent-sized chunk of wood was missing from the head, though this was not enough to weaken the hammer all that much as a whole. Around the chunk, the hammer's head was blackened, indicating that it had taken the brunt of Night Light's beam attack.

Molly already had her hammer up above her head when she appeared. She sprang towards Night Light, her muscles bulging as she brought her weapon down towards his head.

"FOUR TON HAMMER!"

as the gunners fell ken waisted np time and made quick work of the other riflemen. in no time flat he made a fluid motion in striking the one on his right in the soilder, and the one behind that in the chest. using him as a springboard ken jumped in midair and layed a few strokes to the final gunmans throat.

finnally getting over their shock the swordsman all turned back to see thier artillary devastated. taken back one of the marines yelled "hey! its 10 on one! we can take this criminal!" the one who shouted this was the first to charge, throwing his sword in an arc to take ken out with pure strentgh.

blocking with the one in his right ken swung the back oh his handel to strike his opponent in the forehead. knocking him out ken twirled his borrowed weapons before catching them and rushing towards the fray of marines. he suddenly split into two kens which rushed towards his ethier side of the line of swordsman. the one on the right elbowed two guards in the stomach while the left one kneed another in the chin. the remaining 6 spit into two groups and rushed both kens.

one ken dissaperead on touch while the other shouted "360 degrees!" spinningly rapidly in place ken had to do nothing more than hold out his swords to cut up the three soilders around him. abrutly stopping he stared down the final handful of soilders, and shouted a battle cry and jumped them, swords brandished.

Molly & Victor

Night Light smiled when he noticed Victor cover himself up and mutter, "Light Beam" Night Light didn't care too much that Victor had covered himself this light beam would still hurt. As he launched a strong light beam he heard screaming from behind him and turned his head to see Molly charging a little burnt but still fine.

"Oh good you survived I was worried I wouldn't have someone to cuddle up with tonight." Night Light then launched a light wave at Molly which would if anything slow her movement down and temporarily blind her, his light wave was a much weaker from of his light beam which was more focused on being more of a pushing force than one of attack. Now without Victor in his grip he stepped to the side and lifted his foot which lit up and pushed out a strong bright light kick in Molly's direction.

"Now calm down young girl, I don't want to hurt you too much before tonight." Night Light smirked at her then looked out for her brother Victor just in case.

Kyren and Trake

The final guard in the corridor was holding a rifle. Earlier, Kyren knocked another man into him but he came to shortly after. Everyone else was either knocked out or in too mush pain to fight. The man picked up his gun and pointed it at Trake who seemed to be kneeling on the ground.

The man aimed at Trake's head and began to pull the trigger...

Ken

The last three swordsmen were in absolute terror by how Ken decimated their comrades in mere seconds. The man was supposedly beaten up and locked in a cell without food or drink for about a day.

In a final attempt at victory, the men quickly realized their situation and took action. Standing side-by-side, the man on the left slashed diagonally to the right; the one in the middle cut downward straight in front of him; the third performed a diagonal slash to his left.

The guards' fingers were hairs breadths away from fully pulling the trigger.
Then Kyren screamed. Even the guards looked at what happened.
One of the marines had slashed at Kyren's previous wound. Trake clenched his teeth in frustration.
It all happened in seconds-the guards were still preoccupied with watching Kyren and were only just turning their heads. That gave Trake a split second. A split second that could decide whether he walked out of that prison.
He flicked his legs into the air so that he was almost sitting in mid air with his legs straightened a fore him. He shot his legs out at the guard in front of him who hadn't even turned his head back to Trake yet. The guard was hit by the force and sent sprawling against the wall. By now the guards had seen Trake and were aiming their rifles at the figure who was now using the momentum that pushed him backwards after the kick to his advantage. A short landing and two wasted bullets later he was standing behind a guard. The guard turned, but Trake sped up the movement of his face by yanking his face towards him and into his fist. The guard stumbled backwards and a shot was fired.
Trake's stomach was pulsing as blood flowed out of the bullet wound onto the floor. He fell to his knees again-the two remaining guards closing in. When one of the guards moved in front of him though. An evil grin erupted on his face. He pushed off the wall his feet were against and used Spring Sprung to close the distance between him and the guard in seconds. Another bullet hit him at the top of his left shoulder but his speed was to great to be otherwise hindered. Trake's right shoulder pounded into the guard's stomach, winding him in the process. He was tackled into the opposing wall at such high speeds that he broke a many of his ribs and was knocked unconscious.
Trake stood quickly but wasn't quick enough. He was hit in his lower back by a bullet causing him to fall against the wall. This guard had seen Trakes power and was smart enough not to stand close. He aimed at the boy's head. The shot rang out and the guard clutched at his arm in pain-dropping the rifle. Trake pushed the rifle, that the guard had not been able to see from his distance, into one corner. It skidded along the floor and came to a stop when it hit the wall. Trake crawled over to the guard.
"Just give up, you know you can't win," he commanded the guard hoarsely.
"I must say one thing kid, you've got balls...But you won't be so arrogant when I chop them off!" his voice escalated from a whisper to a scream at the end of the sentence. A knife appeared in his hand from a sheath hidden behind his back and caught Trake unaware. The guards good arm used the knife to cut into the flesh just below the left shoulder. He pulled out the knife and stabbed it into Trake's leg, burying it in so that the hilt pressed onto the affected area. He laughed hysterically and tried to pull it out but it took some yanking. Trake used the time to quickly recover from his shock. He picked up an unloaded rifle behind him that one of the guards had dropped. He picked it up with both hands over his head and slammed it down on to the unsuspecting marine's head. The guard flopped backwards, blood gushing from his head. His head hit the floor and he was out cold.
Trake crawled over to the wall and used it to guide him up. He lent over the knife and quickly pulled it out. He gave a loud grunt of pain and closed his eyes tightly. Luckily the marine had done most of the pulling out of the knife for him.
He suddenly remembered Kyren-he hoped he wasn't to late to help and started hobbling, bleeding profusely from a bullet wound in his stomach that had a his right hand over it. The other wounds bled but were starting to clot and dry even as he hobbled.
