Name: Dende Moreira
Age: 16
Bounty: 0B
Species: Human
Occupation: Chef
Allegiance: Pirate
Home Village/Ocean: Eden Beach (From the island Contest), West Blue
Appearance: As all people who originate from Eden Beach, Dende is a brown skinned guy. He is quite thin and nimble, and quite short as well, reaching only 1.60 meters, though he didn't finish growing yet. Aside from muscular legs, Dende has nothing impressive about his body muscle-wise. His eyes are sky blue and his mouth is missing a tooth on the upper left side, a result of a Footvolley accident. The gap in his teeth is shown when he smiles, which happens quite a lot thanks to his cheery mood. His hair is dark brown and is organized in short rastas that reach the bottom of his neck. He wears a pair of black bermuda shorts, which is a common fashion in Eden Beach, and usually walks around with either wooden sandals or bare feet. He wears a red T-shirt with the logo of the Red Tornadoes on the shoulders (A cartoonish flaming tornado) and the national symbol of Eden Beach on it's back. Dende has a red spiral tattooed on each of his knees, a symbol of his loyalty to the Red Tornadoes.
History: Dende originated from the sporty vacation island of the West Blue, also known as Eden Beach. Like most young men on Eden Beach, his father was a Footvolley player, and like all of the Moreira family, his father played for the Red Tornadoes team. The Red Tornadoes were a Footvolley team for the east side of the island, who's players were known for their amazing talent and originality. The Red Tornadoes were considered unbeatable, that is, until Dende was born. Like all concepts, sport is also acting in cycles. A sports team can be on a tidal wave of winnings in one year, and then drop to the bottom of the charts in the next. And when Dende was born, the Red Tornadoes began to lose.
Dende's mom was a chef, one of many who traveled to the island to get a hold of it's rare Eden Pine's and got charmed by the island's magic. She got to the island when she was 20, and married Dende's father 2 years later, moving to the island permanently. In his early years, before he got accepted into the Red Tornadoes, Dende used to help his mom in her restaurant, and picked up some cooking skills that make him a more than reasonable chef. He played Footvolley from the very first moment, he knew how to kick a ball before he knew how to walk. His father wanted him to continue the family legacy of playing for the Red Tornadoes, and maybe even rescue them from their unbelievable streak of loses.
When Dende was 9, he got accepted to the youth team of the Red Tornadoes, after becoming one of the top 20 best players in his age group. He sharpened his skills for several more years, until he was finally accepted to the Footvolley school of the Red Tornadoes. He was trained by the best Footvolley players the Tornadoes had to offer, and learned everything there is to know about Footvolley. But even with all of his knowledge, Dende couldn't make the Tornadoes enter a win streak. He was frustrated, feeling like he let his legacy of great players down. Until one day, an epiphany hit him. The reason why he couldn't help the team was because he was nothing out of the ordinary. He got through the same training as everyone else and was going to get better just like everyone else. In order to out do his opponent's he had to go and develop his skills in a different place, outside of Eden Beach.
His parents understood him. His father could relate with his will to become a better player, and his mother left her home when she was younger to follow her own dreams, eventually forming a family. And so, Dende packed his belongings and left Eden Beach, to try and learn new things, and come back as the messiah of the Red Tornadoes.
Personality: Dende's mind is almost always filled with happiness and more happiness. He is a jolly child with a dancing soul and a will to know new people. His goal of becoming better makes him eager to learn new things and be introduced to new ideas, not to mention that the cultural difference between the world and Eden Beach makes him excited about random stuff without any apparent reason. He isn't clean from sin, and is easily tempted by money, which is one of the most important aspects in Eden Beach. Coins and bills makes his eyes shine with greed and might even cause some drooling to occur. He can become extremely angry when someone stands in his way. The most common reason for Dende to fight or do anything is to prove his skill, and he might go out of his way to make his actions seem glamorous and exciting.

Special Abilities:
Crazy Legs: After a life of playing Footvolley, Dende, like many other Eden Beach natives, acquired some impressive fits. His legs are extremely powerful, capable of breaking boulders with a single kick, not to mention bones and trees. His strong legs also allow him to run faster than most and jump to great heights. But, the most amazing fit of all, is Dende's ability to pretty much do anything with his legs and feet. He can juggle anything he can kick without the slightest effort, and can perform amazing maneuvers that are used in soccer games and Footvolley games. Thanks to long years of running on blazing sand with bare feet, Dende is partially immune to pain in his feet, allowing him to run on steaming surfaces and endure different leg wounds.
Parkour and Capoeira Skills: Dende can perform different high altitude stunts that resemble Parkour moves such as hangs and flips. He can also perform different artistic movements that benefit his fighting style like headspins and somersaults.
Tornado Legs: Tornado Legs is the name of the fighting style that is practiced by Dende's old Footvolley team, "The red Tornadoes". Like all fighting styles the originate in Eden Beach, Tornado Legs is based on the user's leg strength, and his Footvolley skills, both of them are achieved by playing Footvolley. It involves different moves that are performed during Footvolley matches, that were converted into fighting moves. After a life of kicking the special Footdillos of the Red Tornadoes, that are as hard as stone, the practitioners of the Tornado Legs fighting style can pretty much kick any object without receiving any blunt trauma, including rocks, cannonballs and other sturdy objects.
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
Amazing Opener: The basic kick that opens a match of Footvolley, translated to combat use. The user will use his unrivaled leg strength to deliver a powerful kick to either his opponent, or a random object nearby. The kick can send any object that weights less than 100 kilograms flying for several meters. The kick is powerful enough to shatter stones.
Splendid Recovery: The skill of a Footvolley player is measured by his ability to get back on his feet in time to react to an opponent's ball correctly. After years of falling and getting up, a Footvolley player is capable of quickly getting back on his feet after receiving damage. This can be preformed to quickly react to enemy attacks by dropping down and getting right back up, or to tire an enemy by getting back up right after he gets the user down. This technique does not heal the user from damage, but allows him to better coupe with the damage that is dealt to him.
Dune Dash: A Footvolley player must be capable of keeping up with the fast pace of the game by reaching his enemy's ball and react on time. After years of running on thick sand, a Footvolley is capable of running in amazing speeds, competing with Soru. The principle of this technique is identical to the principle of running on sand with efficiency. The user focuses on performing longer steps instead of rapid steps, pushing himself dozens of meters forwards with every step.
Epic Receive: To answer an opponent's ball, a Footvolley player must stop the ball's trajectory with his own body, mainly with his chest or head. After years of intercepting the kicks of some of the most powerful kickers in the world, a Footvolley player can block any attack that is weaker than bullets with his reinforced chest of steel and durable forehead.
Golden Opportunity: A Footvolley player must pay attention to his opponent's mistakes, and react in a manner that will allow him to win a point. While translated to battle, the user, after years of learning opponent's mistakes, can spot openings in his enemy's defenses and attack to take advantage of them. By performing quick kicks in the right places, the sure can completely disrupt his opponent's stance, allowing him to proceed with the Breathtaking Suspension technique.
Breathtaking Suspension: In order to perform complex moves, a Footvolley player must sometimes suspend the ball in the air to prepare himself. The move will begin by swooping an enemy's feet off the ground, making him suspend in midair for a split second. Then, the user will kick the enemy in the gut, making him elevate up before falling back down towards the user. By the time the enemy falls back, the user will have a technique prepared. This move can be easily followed with Shark Attack.
Shark Attack: The most complex move that can be performed in Footvolley. A player intercepts a ball in midair with the heel while suspended upside down, and sends the ball back to the enemy's side, making it almost impossible to react to. A skilled Footvolley player may use this technique to finish a slow opponent or an opponent who can't dodge the attack. The user will perform a forward somersault, and will hammer his heel into an opponent's head, potentially shattering the skull before smashing the head into the ground. This is the most powerful kick in any Footvolley player's arsenal and has the most destructive potential, being capable of denting metal and creating weak shockwaves through the ground.
