Serious: The Clockwork Pirates Chapter 2: Feelin Hungry (This thread is now CLOSED)

Ez smiled but quickly it turned into a frown. " I have antique Katanas and Nodachis in my wares, if any are missing, I want the right to execute whoever I find out has stolen them. They are what I have left of my family..." he said with a solem look. He had remembered not much about his parents, but enough to hate Pirate Hunters and Marines. He had infiltrated a marine base once, but spared who was responsible for his grandfather's death. His family must be known as a pirate family. They arrived at the boat, and Ez carried his wares in one at a time. " Care to help? I have several boxes in the carriage. Besides my cooking supplies and the ingredients." he would say.

Kyren saw Ez's face change and listened to what he had to say, Kyren realised that his family was essentially a pirate family and it seemed that a pirate crew was the place he needed to be. Kyren said "Yea sure I'd love to help." Kyren picked up some supplies and and climbed up aboard the ship with his supplies. Once Kyren had helped Ez he showed him to the kitchen then went back out to everyone else. "Hey everyone, we're getting beef stew to eat."

Wilfred heard Kyren call out and let them know food was going to be ready but didn't care about it as he doesn't eat any more.

annachie picked up delphi and put her on his shoulders and said "ok that sounds good" he started to walk through town he ignored the pain to make sure that delphi didnt get lost and to make it more comfitable for delphi and he walked through the crowds making sure not to drop delphi he soon asked her "can you see it?" he looked around but there were too many people but may delphi would because she was upon his shoulders.

Ez had been pleased at the kitchens conditions, nodding, he went right away to cooking. He boiled fresh water for a while, as he started cutting up carrots. His mincing skills were superb, because he had this recipe down packed. He chopped up onions and lettuce. The meat he packaged was cut up into inch-diameter cubes. When the water was ready, he used the meat-which was beef-to create a delicious broth. he spun some salt and pepper bolts and did a fancy spicing maneuver. He used some freshly choped mint herbs he took from the restaurant, which was there for looks obviously, and used them in the stew. He also used fresh parsley and romana.

"The stew will finish in an hour or so." he said.

Kyren heard Ez call out that the stew will be ready in an hour and let his crew know then decided it was time he checked on Wolfheart, Kyren found Wolfheart and stroked his fun. Kyren then grabbed the back of his head and pulled Wolfhearts head close to his. "I may have had some love this morning from a cat girl but she's not the only one who gets love from me. So do you." Kyren then sat beside him and stroked his fur softly.

Uta waited in the crow's nest. He was already well-known by the marines as a dangerous pirate so he was sure that they would strike soon. It was quite obvious that he was on the island. A few days ago the crew had already defeated a marine unit out to get him. Earlier in the day, Uta and Ken again attacked another unit trying to apprehend Sockk. Just a moment ago, the entire crew was caught in the brawl in the restaurant. "My bounty wont change much. I wonder how the rest of them will react to having their own soon.

Ez had made the final preperations to the stew. He used some of the meat and made bowls out of them. He salted the meat, patting them with bread crumbs, he cooked them on a pan then in the oven. When they were done, they were perfect for meat bowls to hold the stew. The stew thickened a decent amount and the aroma grew delicious. He cleared his throat and shouted, "Dinner is ready!". He would prepare his "bowl" and Kyrens. He waited for the others to come. This was a special occasion, him cooking the full recipe for his family stew, which made him happy he was able to cook it.

Delphi squeaked at being lifted up onto Annachie's shoulders once more and she had to steady herself once again. She gently ran her fingers through his hair reassuringly, feeling his body quiver with the pain but still resolving not to address it until she had him nice and relaxed. "You're so sweet, you know that?" Delphi leaned down to kiss the top of his head.
She looked around. "The carriage? Uh...yes! I think I see it!"
After a few moments of brief re-organisation, Delphi helped Annachie to bring their new crewmates various weapon-boxes and sheathed swords up on to the ship.
The half-mermaid doctor was immediately taken with the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen and found herself lingering a moment in the doorway of the galley, just trying to take it in.
Delphi blinked herself back to reality again, bowing her head to their new "very-adept" swordsman-cook, Ezekiel.
"Hello there, sir. My name is Beatrice Delfino...but most people just call me Delphi. Where would you like these boxes to be put?"
She looked down at the sheathed Katana in her arms, her green eyes suddenly widening with curiosity. "Your weaponary wares are rather remarkable....in all my time with the Sea Sirens, I've never seen such a varied, rare collection..."

She looked up at Annachie over her shoulder, smiling at her lover. "I've found a much rarer sword in my travels though. The ultimate protector, a formidable weapon yet the blade that protects and holds my very heart..."
Delphi smiled wider and settled back against Annachie, nuzzling his shoulder gently as she waited for Ezekiel's reply.


(Hey, Antler. (^-^) Mina is all yours but shall I wait until the next thread to introduce her for the sake of convinience? Also, are you sure that you want another cook character? Not that I mind, but a warning in advance, Mina Layton will get rather competetive with Ezekiel when it comes to cooking...

(Just saying, Ezekiel is only competetive when it comes to swordsmanship.)

Ez would whistle as he smiled. " The hold would be nice, usually the hold is for supplies isn't it? Oh, come get a bowl when your done. " he would say, readying spoons for everyone. He would put his swords ontop of the weapons she was holding. He remembered some things his grandpa had told him. "These are ceremonial swords, young Siege. They are the swords the GrandSiege uses to place judgement on a dominating Siege, and they are used for ceremonial battles and such. Remember, do not use the swords otherwise. Except this one. This one is Dasolo per Sempre, the Emerald shadow..." the memory would echo, dieing off out of Ez's head. He would then put on a blank face, prepping several bowls.

Wolfgang could only watch in awe after Uta had stopped him from firing at the strange swordsman. Soon enough, his captain was headed into this guy's carriage, and after a bit of deliberation, Wolfgang decided to pickpocket the unconscious chef in the center of the deserted restaurant.

"They sure pay you well buddy, hope you live a long life." He uttered before running out of the building and upon exit, he saw the Port with a different light. That of a man who had a bit of money. There were stores that sold hats, shirts, pants, sheets, blankets, anything he needed. "I'm gonna have to ration mysel- Spend it all. That's the plan."

"TOP HATS HERE! GOOD SIR, YOU LOOK LIKE YOU COULD USE A RATHER DASHING HAT!" A merchant with a curly mustache yelled over to Wolfgang.

"YOU THINK RIGHT MY DEAR MERCHANT! GIVE ME YOUR BEST TOP-HAT!"

Wolfgang, and his new tophat, found himself in a store that specialized in selling shirts. Wolfgang's usual dress shirt wouldn't be good for every occasion and then, it caught his eye. A small collection of six Hawaiian Shirts, each with a different color.

"SHOPKEEP! I SHALL BE PURCHASING YOUR WARES!"

Finally, Wolfgang had finished the purchase of a cheap blanket set for his bed. Things were looking up for the boy(or man?) as he hefted up the sack that now contained all of his new purchases. All of his new purchases, except for the black top hat which rested on his head. "Wolfgang, you are such a genius." He muttered to himself and began the long walk back to the ship.

Wolfgang sighed in relief, hefting his sack of items onto the ship's deck and shortly after he jumped onto the deck himself.

"Don't worry, your stalwart Gunslinger is he-" He instantly locked his eyes on the swordsman from before, "What's that assface doing here?"

annachie took delphi of his shoulders when she started to speak to ezekial he hugged her and went to get some more boxes. when he got of the ship to get some boxes his leg just went he tried to use it butit just wouldnt work so he changed that leg into strider harness just to allow him to walk he walked into the kitchen with some supplies placed them into the cupboard but his leg was fully visible through his trousers that it had changed because of the shape of his leg had changed from straight to a very mechanical looking leg with three bends in it instead of two.

Kyren came back out on to the deck to find Wolfgang locking eyes with Ez and ran over to him saying "He's our cook, granted his food doesn't poison us. I'll keep it a secret you pick pocketed him but your also going to pay him back." Kyren took a bowl of the beef stew and ate it all very quickly enjoying thoroughly, it was good tasted much better than all the other food they'd had up till now. Finishing the whole thing he felt full and made his way over to Ez and said, "Welcome aboard this tastes great."

Kyren could see Annachie was in pain due to the fact that he kept changing his leg plus he managed to notice little twitches of pain across his face. "Annachie if your going to be a member of my crew I want you in peak physical condition so I'd like to ask Delphi to take care of you, I want you to to go to my office take the medical supplies you need from the cupboard on the wall and use them to help him. Also I want you to know Annachie that on this crew you can be the butler, you won't have to wait on us hand and foot just help us with things but obviously you can mainly help Delphi as I can tell its your goal and I intend to help you achieve that goal." Kyren then noticed his whole crew where aboard and wanted them to get along.

Kyren walked over to Cid and mentioned to him "I think we should customize the ship a bit and even add something to front of our ship to give it some real character, but don't worry I'm not going to leave you alone to work on it I'll offer all the help I can as I'm sure a few others will do too." He smiled before heading and finding deer "Wilfred's waiting for you in my office deer." He smiled at deer as he ran his hand down his furry back.

Kyren found Ken who seemed a little bit drunken but looked like he had sobered up. Kyren approach him and could smell he stunk of alcohol. He got him a bowl of water and laid it on the floor in front of him, "Drink it, you'll feel better." Kyren went looking for Josh, finding him he then said to him "Hey Josh as an artist and a member of this crew I'd like to ask you a favour, could you paint me a mural covering the whole mast and feel free to paint your own room." Kyren wanted everyone aboard his ship to feel at home and that meant he had one last stop.

Kyren wondered off to find Cassy, when he saw her he wrapped his arms around her and pressed his chest up against her back and and kissed her on the cheek. "What do you think of the crew my dear?"

(That would be fine Lore another cook will be great and from what I've read about her she sounds like a perfect character for the crew and yeah it would a be a good idea to meet her in the next thread which we'll do.)

Ez had appreciated the help he had gotten whilst he cooks the food. He mentioned how the bowls were edible since they were meat with bread crumbs covering them. When Wolfgang insulted him, he threw his bowl at his head. " Here's your dinner, asshole." he would say. But before he threw it, he made extra sure there was curry in it- a lot in it. And so he would nod at Kyren's compliment. He would whistle whilst he prepares everyone a bowl. He would line them up and would let them sit, yelling to get everyone's attention to come and eat. He had sat down, exhaling heavily. It had been a long day. They should be sailing soon. That is what Ez was waiting for. Becuase not long from now, the marines would have located Ez after a wild goose hunt he had put the marines in.

Kyren didn't want to set sail till his ship was repaired but that meant he would have to wait for Cid to get to work, he didn't mind offering a hand despite his lack of knowledge in helping a shipwright. He liked how his crew was coming together and found it funny how they all reacted together.

annachie punched kyren and held him up in front of him by his chest and said"I am no butler" he threw kyren down to the ground. he then walked off on his partly broken legs and his other leg gave way he then changed that leg into the strider harness. he went into the town and looked for somewhere to buy something special his entire bone structure was giving way so he changed into this so he could stand.

Being punched surprised Kyren and as he was picked up and told by Annachie he wasn't a butler he didn't reply as he was shocked that Annachie hit him. Kyren wasn't angry though. He stood back up and walked back after Annachie, "Alright that's fine, you don't have to be our butler, but I was just wondering what you would bring to the crew is all. I guess I'll just let you be known as Delphi's bodyguard since you protect her. You may be thinking I'm an bastard right now but, I just want us all to get along. In fact to show how much I want you to be part of this crew I'll come to town with you and even pay for whatever it is you buy, if indeed you do buy anything. Hows that sound?" Kyren looked at Annachie hoping he would say yes but just didn't know. He really wanted this guy on his crew even though he'd attacked himself and his pet, but he didn't really care.

Uta was the last to go to the kitchen to claim his meal. After not eating anything for the whole day, he hoped that he had enough of an appetite to eat. The stew was wonderful even though it was made in the remains of the holed kitchen. When he finished it, he thanked Ezekiel for the meal and went back out onto the deck. The day was getting late. Wanting to rest, Uta climbed back up to the ship's crow's nest to watch the sea and stare at the sky.

annachie saw kyren who was speaking to him and listened to what he said. annachie swung around and said "please leave me alone, im not a butler " he sheathed up his swords and continued "i am only to follow the orders given to me by delphi." he continued walking through town and was still looking for something for delphi.

Kyren nodded and turned away climbing aboard his ship, he climbed aboard and his ship and up to the crows nest, to find Uta resting there, he realised he couldn't nap here so he climbed back down went to his office where saw Wilfred lying on his desk waiting for deer to work on his voice box, not here either he thought to himself. Kyren then decided to just sleep on the roof of his ship. Kyren lay there and could still feel pain from Annachie's punch, he shut his eyes tried to nap listening to the sounds of the sea and his crew members who were busy below.

Cid headed for the kitchen to repair the hole in the roof, he got out his tools and used them to repair the roof in a nice way placing new planks in the roof almost not seeable that the roof was repaired

Josh finally awoke from his long nap. He walked out to the deck of the ship seeing new faces but not really caring. He then walked to his captain and said "Can you get everybody together I want to draw a picture of the whole crew together?" He said this in almost an excited tone because he knew he would be spending a lot of time with these people

As Cid repaired the roof of the kitchen Kyren didn't manage to fall asleep, but he did have time to rest. Kyren sat up and went down to check the kitchen, seeing that Cid had repaired the kitchen made him smile. "Thanks Cid, wasn't too much of a pain was it?" Kyren was happy to have his ship fixed and smiled at Cid. "I'm looking forward to getting our first bounties." It was a random thing to say but he really couldn't. Kyren then heard Josh ask him if he could everyone together and had to sadly reply "No, not right now sorry Josh, everyone's here except Annachie, and he's not too fond of me, but you could just draw a picture of each of us on our own doing whatever it is we're doing then put them all together if that helps." Kyren smiled at Josh then pointed out "If your hungry we now have a cook too. Ezekiel, hes made us some beef stew and its really good."

Josh waved at Ezekiel and liked his captains plans he would draw a picture of each person doing what they do on the crew. "Good idea." He said as he turned around. He liked his new crew a lot but he hasn't been able to see there strength yet or if there were any DF users. He couldn't wait for there next adventure so he could showcase his talents

Kyren went back to Wolfheart and sat beside him, he stroked his fur then said lets go get you some food. Kyren went to collect some of the beef stew for Wolfheart and put the bowl down on the ground in front of him and awaited his approval. Kyren thought Wolfheart would like it and if he didn't he'd just give him a steak instead.

Cassy grinded against Kyren. "Nyaaaaa I'm tired. Do you have a kitten-bed?"
