Serious: The Clockwork Pirates Chapter 1: Finding Nakama (This thread is now CLOSED)

Kyren smiled at his crew members and took a large chunk out of his apple. Kyren thought to himself and finished his beer then swallowed down the last chunk of his apple and yelled out "Right then guys its time to set sail. Lets...." Kyren 's was interrupted by the voice of a Marine, Kyren looked to where the voice came from to a group of Marines all being led by a Captain. Kyren realised straight away this could be problematic as they had no cannons on the Time Goes. "We are here to capture Uta Ichiho hand him over or we will have to open fire." Kyren stood on the edge of the ship staring them down. Kyren smiled devilishly at the Marines before saying "Looks like your going to have to come and get him then." Kyren felt a bullet fly past his ear and then leapt into action. "Right guys hoist those sails up and lets get out of here." Kyren said as he ran up to the Captain's steering wheel and turned it as quickly as he could away from the island. Kyren could hear gun shots and parts of his ship taking the bullets.

wolfheart saw all the bullets flying towards the crew and ship he stood in the way of the ones going towards the crew and let the bullets shread fur and flesh alike the bullets either lodged into his flesh or just came out the other side as red specks unable to be seen with all the blood coming from his fur and flesh. As the pain tore him up he started to howl in pain but he just stood there just letting the bullets tear him up he then growled in a way which ment to the crew "it would be smart for you lot to get into behind cover" if you couldnt understand at all it would just sound like a growl of anger. as he stood there the sight of him from behind was a black silhouette against a red mist and very very very few bullets got threw wolfhearts guard.

Kyren saw Wolfheart taking bullets trying to protect his crew and felt bad, he let go of the steering wheel and jumped to the edge of the ship and began using his bullet slice technique. Kyren sliced every bullet which came his way up into pieces with his scalpels. Wolfheart was no longer having his flesh ripped apart by bullets, only protected by Kyren. As Kyren sliced the bullets he yelled "Ken you get the wheel and steer us out of here, Uta raise the sails, Cid help me fend these guys off and Cassy.........you just stay there." Kyren saw the Marine captain climbing aboard and was about to kick him of when Kyren felt a bullet strike him in the shoulder and fell backwards landing on his back. It took him by surprise.

wolfheart pushed off kyren and pushed him behind cover and he continued to defend the crew by himself, you could tell he was putting his pride on the line you could tell in every way that he was in his eyes, his body and the way he was acting.he was wanting to make sure no one else in the pack was hurt. this reminded him of his history where he was the leader of the pack and failed to protect his old pack was hurt . He was not going to let anyone but himself take damage in this pack he was in. he was useing his body to stop the bullets his main aim was to defend cassy since she was still in open ground everyone else was behind cover and he would make sure they stayed there untill the pack got far enough away from the bullets

Seeing Wolfheart fight proudly protecting Cassy Kyren stood back up ingoring the bullet in his shoulder as he'd remove it later. Kyren found himself face to face with a Marine Captain when he got up. Kyren twirled his scalpels in his fingers before using his crossing slice technique. The Marine captain began breathing heavily as Kyren pushed him over the edge. As the Time Goes began drifting off from the island to wherever the next location was Kyren realised there was Marine ship in the docks and they would be followed. As their ship sailed close by Kyren realised he had to do something. Kyren climbed up the Time Goes mast then leapt on to the Marine ships and let his scalpel slice through it as Kyren sliced down through the sail he could see the Marines aboard the ship where coming out to arrest him. As he landed on the deck Kyren turned and ran then dived back to his own ship and climbed up the side feeling his shoulder aching a little bit. The Times Goes was on its way from the island to wherever the wind took it. Back on the deck Kyren felt cheery, a few of them probably had bounties now but only little ones for obstruction of justice. Kyren and Wolfheart needed surgery to remove the bullets he looked at Wolfheart and smiled he could see all the bullet wounds easily against his silver fur. Kyren led Wolfheart to his office and shut the door as he got to work removing the bullets and patching Wolfheart and himself up.

Back on the deck Uta was addressing his other crewmates. "I'm sorry for what I got the crew into. I guess i'm still wanted since an incident from several years back. So, I am thankful for everyone who has risked their life for me. Uta knew he could destroy a marine ship with his fruit but was not sure whether or not he could defend an entire ship with it. He knew at once that if he couldn't increase his ability, he would become a burden. His goal was to be stronger and more than ever, he felt the need to do so. The only problem was that to train his devil fruit abilities on a ship was out of the question. Looking out to the sea, Uta was thinking of a solution.

wolfheart didnt let himself be patched up his pride was flooding through his mind and taking over everything he was doing and he got out of the captains office he had to make sure everyone was ok he just had to make sure no one was hurt because of his failiure and when he looked at kyren he noticed the bullet wound and he thought he had failed so he walked away from kyren again and as he limped away it was easy to follow him around because of the blood trail he left , he then fell uncouncious in front of cassy as he was walking. his heartbeat about 4beats/minute which was impossible to feel. he wasnt breathing and his blood was making a pool infront of cassy.

even though he wanted to defend against the marines ken discarded the idea as soon as his captain gave him the orders. taking the wheel he made sure he was heading away from the island as fast as he could. hecouldnt stand being out of the fight so he got an idea. letting go of the wheel for a few seconds he ran to a point where he could clearly see the marine ship and pulled out kurohyou. looking back and seeing his friends in pain he turned to the marine ship and yelled to the marines on board "katana tama!" saying that he spun his sword in a circle and made a full compressed air circle. taking out tora he quickly stabbed it many times, throwing bullets of commpressed air at the marines. about to run back to the steering wheel he felt a bullet graze past him. ignoring it he quickly ran to wheel and grasped it, suprising it hadn't moved a centemeter while he was gone.

Kyren saw what his crew mates had done and smiled he walked up to Uta who and said to him "Your our nakama, your enemies are our enemies." Kyren then approached Ken and told him "Thanks for your help just then, I'll sort out that graze for you if you want" Kyren then had to tend to Wolfheart who may be too proud to accept help but Kyren wasn't going to let him die of his pride. Kyren followed Wolfheart to Cassy who was stroking him, he used some cotton buds to soak up the blood then began removing the bullets. Wolfheart then tended to himself and got rid of his own bullet. He then offered Ken medical treatment for his graze.

wolfheart was still uncouncious as his blood continued to flow even though the blood was being cleaned up by kyren. his heartbeat dropped again to 3beats/minutes and he still coundnt breath.

Kyren could see Wolfheart was still having trouble breathing and bleeding he was so excited about having anew crew and the thrill of the adventure and the well being of the crew he was trying to get around to everyone as quickly as he could, and ended up forgetting to bandage up Wolfheart. He rushed back over to him and stopped the blood oozing out, then wrapped him up in bandages and set him down in his own bed. Kyren didn't want Wolfheart to die so he sat next to him and stroked his fur. Kyren found he could breathe easier.

wolfhearts heartrate went back up and he awoke again he then looked at kyren and was happy and smiled at him and went to the fore of the ship and waited for the next adventure and thought (my pride and my honour are all gone im going to have to earn that back)

Kyren saw Wolfheart smile then walk to the fore of the ship he was happy he was in alright. Kyren then approached the steering wheel and told Ken he could go relax. Kyren grabbed the steering wheel and smiled as breeze blew past him. Kyren turned the wheel and the ship began heading directly opposite the island he'd found his crew. Kyren had no idea where he was headed.

Cid was helping readying the ship for departure, he used his powers to put propellors with a lot of blades on the side of the ship to increease the sailing speed,

Kyren turned to Cid "Thanks for your help Cid." He then climbed the mast and hung from the highest point looking out for land. Having no idea where to go he was on search for an island as well as more crew members. Kyren felt proud of his accomplishments so far.

"Nya....?" Of course, Cassy had no idea what these bullets were or why they were hurting her friends, but she didn't know what to do. After all this was over she turned into a full cat, looking so cuddly. "Nya nya....will cuddling help?"

Kyren looked at Cassy in her cat form and didn't feel the same way he did when she was in human form, he picked her up and placed her on his shoulder and stroked her behind the ear. Kyren noticed that there escape from the Marines showed him what his crew were capable of and despite the uselessness of Cassy he still wanted her as part of the crew, he put her down on the side and handed her a piece of thread and a small hook he used for stitching people back together, he leant over the edge and threw the hook in the water, he pulled out a fish and let Cassy run off with it. Kyren stayed on the side fishing, he threw the hook back in and watched the hook swim along in the water below, as he waited and watched his crew relax, Kyren realised this chapter of his adventure was over.
