Jason: To become a famous pirate chef and create his own well known dish.

Crew History: This is a crew that Daniel D. Haught created for the purpose of becoming a great pirate. More will be added as things happen.

Oh, she was definitely approved. And dang...Daniel's gonna have to work hard if he wants to keep up with her level of strength. I know I said I wanted a strong 1st Mate, but this was better than anything I had hoped for. Excellent work. I'll have the first thread up in a minute or two and then I'll send you a link to it over PM. Though it should be easy enough to find without that.

Yes, you were invited. Only one person at a time may join the crew officially per thread to help keep from being overwhelmed by inactive people. Or rather, that's what I would be saying. TBL just joined the thread with a bunch of other characters and while I was at first going to ask him to leave, since I already had my antagonists planned out, this could actually work in our favor. So if you would like to join in, then by all means come on.

Yo Squall Pirates! This message is mainly for Sleepy and Karasu, but it also concerns everyone who is waiting to join the crew during the next few threads: A.K.A. Lore, Lost, and Antler; and maybe Max, assuming he is still interested in joining.

Before this point I had offered the position of First Mate to two different individuals. Unfortunately, the first of these two people didn't respond for a while and I ended up offering it a second time to someone else. This second person was Lost, but unfortunately she decided that she didn't like the character that she was going to join the crew with, so once again the position was left open. So for a while now, I have considered this matter and come to a decision that I think is fair to all concerned.

I am not going to simply offer the position to anyone, nor will I hand it over to the first person who joins the crew. The fact is, the position of First Mate is way too important to just throw around casually. What I have decided to do is wait. As the crew grows I will observe each member through Daniel's eyes and make a choice from among the group. This choice will depend upon several factors including strength of body, character, trustworthiness, etc.

I am telling you all this now to settle the matter for the time being. Now, I do trust you all to keep your characters in character according to their personalities, but I will still ask that you do not create a character or change your current character simply so that they can fit this role. My final decision and Daniel's might surprise you.
