demon embrace pirates
chapter one

A bright sun shined in a cloudless sky over the sea. Hardly any waves rocked the Hells Fury as it sailed towards a fairly large island in the distance. The ships captain was a somewhat tall man with black hair that spiked backwards. seeming to have little trouble sailing his ship even though he was alone he sailed directly towards the land in the distance.


The island was named isle mikon, or 'island wild' for its vast wildlife; infact the island was known for its incredible zoo's which brought in more than half of the islands income. On top of this it was rarly visited by marines and thus flourished for beginning pirate crews and men for hire. Besides the fact that some of the population were pirates the merchants around it always smiled as to bring in more profits. Docking in the port jeremiah tossed a coin to one of the workers there and asked him to watch the ship. Done with that he left his sword in his quarters of the shipand left for town. The people hardly noticed or cared about him, to busy bustling to busy with their buisness, as he walked towards the closest bar to find pirates to join his crew. he had about 1000 belli on him which would be used for those who requested funds.

As Jeremiah walked into the bar, a lone man with green hair noticed his arrival. The man wore a small black cloak, fingerless gloves, black pants, and a blood red T shirt with a cut over his chest. He gazed over at Jeremiah, shrugged, and went back to his drink.

noticing Jeremiah subzero aproches him and asks him why he is hear and to have a drink with him.

giving a light smile jeremiah agreed, walking over to a table he orderd two glasses of good old beer and leaned back as he waited for the bartender to bring them to him. while he waited he asked brent "hey, whats your name?"

As the conversation between the two men started, Vorad gazed over in their direction. Taking a swig of his drink, he rudely interupted. Looking straight at Jeremiah, he said "You've got nerve coming here, especially with that very rewarding bounty over your head. Might I ask why you're here, exactly?"

subzero almost talked intill he rudly iterupted subzero says his name is Brent but he likes his name as subzero and calms down the 2 and trying not to make this a brawl

sighing jeremiah told brent "hold that though subzero, i would like to talk to this man." as he said this the bartender brought his drinks, taking one he calmly said. "ive come to do two things, have a quiet drink and form a crew, why do you ask?"

Vorad smirked. Taking another swig of his drink, though not taking his eyes off Jeremiah, Vorad reached into his cloak. Pulling out a small slip of paper, he said "Right now, I'm open for hire. And if I were you, I would make sure you had someone to offer assistance. Especially one with talents like mine." Vorad slammed the slip of paper down on the table. "These are my business contacts. All you need is 500 Belli, and your signature on this paper."

wow! Subzero looked at Jeremiah and asked nicely if he could join,he asked only for 50 Belli since he doesn't have a bounty.

sitting back down jeremiah smiled feelinglike he just won a major battle. looking the papers over he brought out his pouch of belli and took a swig of beer. placing his cup down he looked over the papers and then looked back at vorad. "papers? you seem like a prefessinol, you needed 500 you said, correct?" signing the papers he looked over to brent and said "of course you can come along, but 50?" he said to subzero "here you go" tossing the coins to brent he took a large portion out of his pouch and handed it to vorad. smiling he ordered another round of beer to his new crewmates.

Vorad grinned and leaned back in his chair. "Glad to have business." He took the papers from Jeremiah and slid them back in his cloak. "Would you mind telling me exactly what I signed up for? I don't want to be sailing the seas and have it turn out to be a joy ride."

"ya what are we going to do?"

jeremiah sighed and took a sip of beer before he started. "listen, i dont want to put a damper on things, cuase is was hoping have a little dring and some fun before i darken our moods. so ill answer your question with a question. what to you think about the government?"

Vorad's grin turned into a frown. His eyes darkened, literally. Apparently he was re living pas experiences he desperately wanted forgotten. "I want to kill any son of a bi*** who calls themselves a marine. Plain and simple." He returned to his drink, rubbing the hilt of his cutlass. He was apparently formulating multiple ways to murder a Government man.

sadden and scared from Vorad's stament, ''sure why not?" subzero hints the rest of some merines that just walked in the door, "what shoulde we do"?

taking another swig of his drink jeremiah tried his best to give a smile, you could see the hatefor the government in his eyes. "thats one thing we have in commen than, and if thats how you feel your going to like this work." taking a small paper from his pocket he placed it on the table that showed a picture of the government flag, below was a small block of text. "this says that an important maarine supply ship is stopping here to collect war beasts. were gonna take that out when it comes" turning around he realised the marines and prepared to take them by surprise when they passed him.

Vorad glanced at the ship. Suddenly, he didn't sound to excited about taking it on. "I've seen that ship. They have Manticores on board, and maybe even a Minotaur. And it's captain is not to be reckoned with." Vorad started to take another swig from his drink, noticed it was empty, and then called for the bartender. Apparently, he had completely ignored the marines.

subzero trys to get out to colect his thing to leve later and get's coght "what the-" subzero runs and frezes the merines and trys to run to his new ship "COME ON GUYS!"

Stunned by the sudden show of power Brent gave, Vorad turns to Jeremiah. Shrugging, he takes off after Brent.

shocked as well jeremiah took the slip of paper off the desk and finished his drink. leaving the belli on the table he sighed and began to run after the two when he stops and turns too the marines. seeing one had a paper in his hands he eyed it before taking off after the two.
