Mary smiled coolly. "You're slowing down already?" she asked. "Huh, and I thought you were going to beat me."
Twirling her spear once more, Mary pounded the ground with the electrical end. Nothing happened. She frowned and then shrugged.
"Oh well, looks like I'll have to try something else," she commented. A second later, she charged towards David, stabbing at his chest with her spear's tip. "DIE SCUM!"

"I know he isn't dead!" Ren shouted. "Now shut up already and fall down!"
She charged towards Stan her rapiers glinting. She stabbed at his chest on the side of his bad arm with one rapier, but it was a feint. Her real attack came from the other side, aiming to cut into his good arm to paralyze it as well.

Nick stood stock still. The rubble was moving again. It seemed that Hyde was going to rise soon. Nick took a step back, but this was not out of fear. If he was to defeat Hyde quickly, he would need to catch him off guard and then...what? What could he do after that? He thought back to the battle vs. the first member of the Worthington family. Something about that kept bugging him. Wait a minute...when he had tried to shoot that Worthington man, Kyle, his bullets had been ineffective because Kyle was wearing a bulletproof vest. Nick could remember wishing he had shot Kyle in the head because that would have finished him off quickly. What it all came down to was weak points.
Nick looked at the rubble, which was still trembling. This man, Hyde, he was powerful, that much was for certain. But he was still human. That much Nick was sure of. He felt pain, after all, so he couldn't be invincible. If Nick used that kind of thinking...perhaps there was a way he could win this fight after all.
