Serious: Mansion Rumble (Open to just the Bounty Hunting Trio)

Stan stare din puzzlement for a few moments when David appeared, wondering who on earth he was, until finaly greeting him by saying rather half heartedly; "Oh it's you, hello.", and then looking over to Hyde, staring blankly for a few moments before speedily dashing towards him on his heels, and slashing at him with his hand held knives. "This is going to be a hassel, I havent got my usual shoes on, that girl really should of brought my stuff quicker.", Stan complained, as he attacked, with a depressed look on his face.

"What the...who is...?" Calin breathed, watching David approach Hyde from behind.

Mary's eyes widened in shock, but then narrowed. "I fought that man back in the last town," she growled. "He must have followed me here...blast, this could complicate things a bit. With his abilities, he might just be able to hurt Hyde."

"Then shouldn't we interfere?" Ren asked.

"Not yet," Mary replied. "I defeated that man in spite of what he could do. Perhaps Hyde will get lucky...besides, if we try to step in now, we'll only be risking our own necks. At this point there is no telling what Hyde'll do."

Hyde heard David's words and turned to face him. As he was doing this, Stan slashed him on the back with his knives. Oddly enough, these only left faint red lines on the monster man's skin. Not even a drop of blood had been spilt. Still, Hyde let out a howl and spun, punching at Stan's head.

Nick shook his head and started to rise to his feet, stumbling as he did so. He needed to help Stan and that new guy, whoever he was. They had no idea what they were getting into. The thing was, Nick's bullets hadn't even penetrated Hyde's skin when he had been shooting him. He doubted anyone else would have noticed this little fact considering that they were standing too far away and the bullets had been moving so quickly. But Nick, having had a first row seat, had noticed. Not only had Hyde's skin deflected his bullets, but the only trace that he had been hit were a few small, red welts.

Nick began reloading his pistols and thinking fast. How could they hurt a guy like this? He wasn't even wearing a flak jacket, like that first Worthington Nick and Stan had fought. Nick thought back to that fight. Maybe there was something he could use from that fight to when this one.

Seeing Hyde trying to attack Stan, the bounty and treasure hunter decided to make his move. Without losing any time, the man started running towards the monstrous human. As he run, his hair took the form of many fists that were prepared to hit Hyde. Inside the hair, there were a few small steel plates and stones that would give strength to the attack and would cause some damage. "Hair Punch Assault!" David said, as he attempted to throw his punches at the back of the monster in order to stop him from hitting Stan and cause him some damage. Stan could not cause any damage with his slashes... Maybe David could do that with his Hair Life Return techniques. Would the attack work or not? David hoped that it would, so that he would protect his friend and Nick...

As Stan saw that Hyde was going to retaliate, he merely mumbled; "What a hassel.", as he lept back a few paces, and looked up in suprise to see David attack, with his hair. "Well thats wierd", commented the unaturally tall and lanky limbed bounty hunter, before accidently dropping his kives held by his toes. "Hmmm this isn't going to work too well, it's going to be a hassel without them in my shoes.", Stan said outloud sheepishly before asking David and Nick, "Have you two got bits of metal, a few screws, a screwdriver, a spring and some string?"

Hyde felt the punches pummeling his back. He stumbled, but came up back looking mostly unhurt, just like before. With a roar he turned and flung himself at David, easily pushing through the punching hair and reaching with his powerful arms for the bounty hunter himself.

Stan's words snapped Nick out of his thoughts. He turned towards his friend and grinned. This was why he liked Stan. It was classic. They were in the middle of a battle, fighting for their very lives, and Stan wanted to start building something.

"No, I don't have any of that stuff," Nick replied. "Why would I carry around a screwdriver in a fight anyway?"

Nick finished reloading his guns and slid them back into their holsters. Until he could find a way to really hurt Hyde, he wasn't going to waste his ammo.

"Damn it!" David said as he looked at the monstrous human that reached him with his powerful arms just before he felt his powerful arms smashing him on the chest. Afterwards, David was sent flying several meters and fell on the ground on his back, taking a bit more damage.

"What is he?" David thought as he looked upwards, after falling down and taking a great amount of damage. "How am I supposed to defeat a monster like that? It's not that I am weak or anything... It's just that he's way too strong." he continued thinking. He decided to close his eyes in order to show that he was finally defeated... However, at the last second, he realised that he was not alone. He was not fighting for himself at the place. He was fighting for the sake of his friend, Stan. Moreover, that woman who defeated him before was also watching. If he lost the battle, he would be nothing more than a failure of a fighter.

With these things in his mind, the Bounty Hunter got up. He stood on his right knee and moved his head upwards, staring at the monster. He moved his left hand on his face to clear himself from his sweat and he said "It's time for round two..." while his hair started taking the formations of many hands that were closed to form a fist.

As Stan casually watched his companions battle against the bestal Hyde, Stan scratched his head and stiffled a yawn before shuffling over to the group of familiar looking criminals, and asked sheepishly; "Oi, do any of you have a few bits of metal, a screwdriver, some screws, a srping and a piece of string?", sleepily staring at them while rubbing one of his eyes.

"What is he..." Mary growled, glaring at Stan.

"Please," Calin raised a hand in front of her to keep her from advancing on Stan. "Let me handle this." He walked towards Stan, smiling as he did so, and he spread out his arms in a peaceful gesture, demonstrating that he had no weapons on him. "I'm sorry to say that none of us have what you need," Calin said. "But I may still be able to help you. You said you needed string. Would it be possible for me to replace that with chains?"

With that, his cordial vanished as he swung his arms up. A sharp-edged chain shot out from within each of his sleeves and they flew towards Stan in an attempt to wrap around him.

Meanwhile, Hyde advanced on David. He wasn't moving anywhere near as quickly as before. His bloodlust had been somewhat sated by the fact that he had struck the bounty hunter.

Nick, on the other hand, was following after Hyde as quietly as possible. He didn't want to attract the beast-man's attention to him just yet. He wanted to see what David could do and hoped that the battle would give him some idea as to how he could help.

Sh'lainn watched over the battle from the roof of a building. She had already gathered as many of the townspeople as she could find and brought them to this place. This particular building was like a fortress, although she was sure that its walls would not stand up to Hyde's brute power.

"Please stop them...Nick...Walters..."

Seeing Hyde advancing on him, David decided to go with one of his most powerful techniques and most useful strategies, a strategy that he used in his battle against Mary, too. He used his Life Return to form a fist that was ready to punch Hyde that held the Impact Dial he had in his hair inside it. Then, he used his Life Return on his hair to create many fists that punched the fist with the Impact Dial, absorbing damage from the impact and making the punch much stronger than any ordinary Hair Punch attacks.

"Let's settle this!" the Bounty Hunter said to Hyde and he charged towards him in an attempt to punch him at the face with the hair punch that held the Impact Dial to cause him termendous damage. "You won't get away like that!" he continued, while his punch was moving towards Hyde and was almost ready to land a hit on him. David hoped that this attack would hit to cause much damage to the monstrous human...

Stan watched in puzzlement as Calin's chain wrapped round the tall man, leaving his arms held down and the upper part of his legs held together. "Well, i don't need this hassel, plus you've just been pretty stupid," Stan replied; "Because the only reason i havent fought tied up before is because I didn't have all my knives." Stan then began walking round in acircle quickly, before spining towards Calin, wrapping the rest of the chain around him as he went, before ending up right against the man and stabbing down at his head with his mouth knife.

Mary's eyes widened and she took a step back at the sight of David's attack. "Oh...no..." she whispered.

Ren merely looked confused as she glanced back in forth between Mary and Hyde. She didn't understand what it was that could have made her superior so afraid.

Hyde rushed towards David unaware of the danger. He pulled back his fist, intending to punch David in the face with enough force to remove his head from his shoulders. He never got into range to do so. The dial struck him in the face and the sheer force burst through Hyde's tough skin, damaging his inner parts. Hyde was blasted backwards. His powerful body plowed through the side of a building and weakened its supports enough to have the whole thing crash down on him. When the dust cleared there was silence...

"No...freakin'...way..." Ren whispered.

"We may be in more trouble than I thought..." Mary muttered under her breath.

Nick watched as the dust cleared and then he turned towards David, grinning. "Not bad, man, whoever you are," he said. "You should stick with me and Stan. We could use another good fighter. Not to mention..." He glanced back at the destruction. "...neither of us has that kind of power."

Calin tried to back up, but he couldn't. The chain was simply wrapped too thoroughly around a leather band on his arm, which he used to protect his skin from the chain's sharp edges. The knife came down and he twisted to the side, causing it to miss its initial target, but it slammed into his shoulder instead. Calin fell on his back, howling in pain.

Ren heard the yelling and she looked back at her brother, her eyes wide with fear. "NO! Get away from him!"

She drew out a pair of rapiers before charging towards Stan. Nick caught sight of her and opened fire, the bullets from his pistols forcing her to dive behind a trashcan, which like everything else in the underground city was made of stone.

Nick cautiously advanced on the place where she had hidden, his weapons up and ready to mow her down if she showed her face again.

David was surprised to see Hyde ready to strike back at him. He believed that if he got hit from an attack like that, he would not be able to fight easily anymore. He was already hit by the powerful and monster-like human so one more attack from him could mean great trouble. However, hopefully for him, his powerful Hair Punch attack landed a hit on Hyde, damaging his inner parts and blasting him backwards. On top of that, a building fell on him... He was probably out of the battle and unconscious. David did it. He stopped the beast that was being a threat for Nick and his good friend Stan.

"Was it that easy?" David thought, wondering if he really defeated the enemy or not. However, he could not pay much attention as Nick started talking to him, congratulating him for his efforts and asking him to stick with himself and Stan. It had been a while since somebody cared for him and wanted to know him better. Happy with that and as David had nothing to lose, he decided to accept the offer. After all, the three of them had a common enemy at this time so they would tag anyway. The only thing that was needed was to make their alliance official.

"I accept your invitation..." David said while bowing to the man. Then, he stood on his right knee and bowed to Nick in order to introduce himself. His hair started changing shape and turned back into their afro form. Afterwards, he took off the black ninja mask that was covering his mouth and was similar to a bandana and wore it as a bandana on the neck, revealing his mouth for the first time to Stan, Mary and everyone who was watching at him. With a smile on his revealed face, he said "Oh... And another thing... My name is David. Jones David.". The man had just formally introduced himself.

As Stan saw his opponent express his pain, Stan quickly pulled out his knife, a tried to slip out of the chains that were wrapped around, only to realise he would have to spin all the way back for this to work and leave himself dizzy. "This is really a huge amount of hassle." Stan grumbled to himself, as he started rolling along the ground, trying his best to make the chain unwrap, and also managing to doze off as he attempted this.

Nick stayed where he was, keeping his weapons trained on the trashcans. He didn't want to get closer unless he had to. Especially considering how Ren's weapons were both close range. Not to mention that he didn't really know just how strong she was.

For her part, Ren was inwardly fuming. She couldn't help her brother because this gunman was in the way! And he was a pretty good shot too. She could feel a small trickle of blood from where a bullet had grazed her cheek. Had it just been an inch closer, she might be dead right now instead of hiding here.

As Stan was rolling away, Calin began managed to stand up. He didn't attack Stan, but backed away, dragging away the parts of the chain that Stan had already unraveled from his body.

Mary looked around, suddenly realizing that her other two allies had, rather quickly, been defeated by the bounty hunters. With a growl of frustration, she charged towards Nick while taking her spear from her back. She figured that if she could free Ren, then she might actually be able to defeat these three, but that was a big maybe. Still, there was nothing else she could do, except run. And there was no way that she would ever do that.

Nick saw her coming and he turned his guns on her, opening fire. Mary spun her staff at high speed, blocking each and every shot. Caught off guard, Nick barely dodged in time to avoid a slash from her spear blade that would have separated his head from his body.

Ren took advantage of Nick's distraction and she rushed towards Stan, raising her rapiers to try to impale him while he was still on the ground in what she believed was a defenseless position.

As Stan groaned in his sleep as the chain finally unwrapped, mumbling to himself; "Stop the ride, it's giving me too much hassle.", before holding back a yawn and opening his tired eyes to the unwelcoming sight of Ren trying to impale him, to which stan quickly folded his lanky legs and arms quickly enough for both of the rapiers to be blocked by two of stan's knive's at their points, and then was diverted by the nap loving bounty hunter by a simple flick of the knives, letting them slip onto either side of stan before he kicked away from ren, sliding a few feet away on his back; before finally noticing that Hyde was covered in rubble. "Well that's one less hassle to take care of, though wonder when he was taken out. Hope he's not dead, a loony like that must have a big bounty on his head.", he mumbled to himself, before adding; "I wish I had my old shoes."

Seeing his new group battling with their enemies and struggling, David prepared himself for a second round against his enemies. In his battle with Hyde, he showed them that he was not an easy match, he thought that he prove to Mary that her win in their previous battle was just something lucky and most importantly he was asked to join his friend Stan and his other friend in their adventures. For years, David was travelling by himself so he needed a partner to work with. From what he had seen in their battles at the underground city, he believed that they would be a perfect team that would take down enemies easily...

Motivated and with his willpower increased to the maximum because of his win over the monster-human, David stretched himself after making all these thoughts. Seeing that his new partner, Nick, was having a battle with Mary, he believed that it would be a great idea to assist him. After all, the bounty hunter wanted to have his revenge at the woman for his previous loss and defeat her by himself...

Without losing any time, David started using his Life Return extremely fast. His hair got much longer and reached his butt, while a five hair arms started sprouting out of them, two at the right, two at the left and one on the head. Inside most of these fists of these hair there were the metal plates and the stones that David used to hide in his afro that echanced the damage of the punches and made them useful attacks, while in the one that got out of his head held the Impact Dial in its fist.

With a decisive look on his face, the bounty hunter hit the ground with the hair arm that came from his head and he said to Mary "Woman... Bring it on... This time, I will get you! I will not lose to you once more!"

Mary was distracted by David's words and looked towards him. Nick, who had been flipping out of the way of yet another one of her attacks, took this opportunity to launch a kick in her direction. His foot impacted her side around the kidney area and knocked her down on the floor. Nick then spun backwards, opening fire with another barrage of bullets. Mary managed to bring up her defenses again to block them and rose to her feet quickly, looking furious.

In the meantime, Ren pressed on her attack, stabbing at Stan again and again. If only she could hit him once...then this would be all over.

Seeing that Nick managed to land a hit on the woman that defeated David some time ago, David decided to make his move. With the five hair arms sprouted around him, the man started running with force towards Mary. He said a second before he started running "Woman... This time, I will get you back! I am sorry, my new friend... I am going to interrupt this battle!".

As he run, moments from their battle started coming through his mind. He could remember the time that he got hit by her electric weapon... That definitely hurt and that was the reason that he would get her... He wanted to show her the pain that he felt at that time because of her electric weapon, with his own techniques. He wanted to have his revenge and make her pay for what she had done to him and his friend, Stan.

"I am going to beat you this time, woman!" David shouted at the time he was near her. "Hair Punch Assault!" he screamed as he started performing various swift punches with his hair towards her in an attempt to hit her and damage her. "We will settle this now!" he said, while his punches were being sent towards her. Would the attack work or not? And if not, how would Mary avoid it?

Stan carried on blocking the attacks from Ren, occasionly being forced to try to dodge out of marms way when his clothes are being ripped. "The chain bloke is probably fine, just a stab to the shoulder that's all, he'll be right as rain when we turn him in after all this hassle.", Stan said conversationly to his opponent, seeming quite unintrested in fighting back. "I don't suppose if you would like to mention what your bounties are?", the bounty hunter then asked, as he suddenly began getting into the rhythym of ren's attacks. This girl really is one for hassle, hopefully I can beat her up so I can make my shoes. Stan thought to himself, still countering the blows struck at him.

Nick ducked back, letting David take over. He could see that the other bounty hunter was serious. Why he was acting that way, Nick had no idea, but he thought it would be better to just get out of the way and avoid making his ally angry.

"Fine, man," Nick said. "Just don't get yourself beat up."

That was when David began his attack. It was obvious from the start that Mary was having trouble. Though she had been able to block the bullets and they had been faster than these attacks, there had only been at most two bullets coming at her at a time. Now she had dozens of punches flying at her from all sides. At first she managed to hold them off, but then one got through and then another. The blows caused her to stagger and let down her guard so that even more hits got through.

It was then that she remembered how she had stopped this attack before. She should have spun her spear, catching the hair and tangling it up...but it was too late for that now...

Mary was lifted off of her feet and flung backwards by all of the powerful hits. She slammed into the ground and rolled, but then flipped back into a crouch. She glared at David with hate filled eyes.

"You should not have come here," she growled. "I let you go before because I did not see any wisdom in killing you...it looks as if I'll just have to remedy that mistake."

Mary twirled her spear and banged the knobbed end on ground while hitting the switch on the shaft. Blue lightning crackled around the knob and Mary charged. This time, however, she did not try to straight out hit David. She spun her spear once more and pounded it on the ground. The lightning arced outward, rushing across the surface of the ground towards David.

"Thunderous Javelins!" Mary shouted.

Ren screamed in fury. She didn't even bother giving Stan a legitimate reply as to what her bounty was. Instead, she picked up speed, stabbing at him with even more ferocity.

"Styx's Stream!" Ren cried out.

She squeezed the hilts of her swords tightly and a purplish liquid* shot out of their tips at Stan. She kept up the attack as this was going on, stabbing again and again at him.

((OOC: This is a poison that can paralyze a part of a person's body. However, it must be injected directly to have this effect, which is why she's trying so hard to stab Stan. Note: If it does hit Stan on his arm or leg or whatever, it will only paralyze that area. Otherwise if it touches the outside of his body, it only causes minor numbing.))

Nick looked on in amazement as his partners fought. They were incredible. He felt a little awkward, having not contributed much to the battle. He wished he could do something to really help them out...then he heard it. The sound of stones grating against each other. He turned and looked at the pile of rocks where Hyde had been buried. Was it his imagination or had the rocks just moved?

Nick began to quickly reload his guns. It seemed that he would be getting his wish sooner than expected. He only hoped he would have the time to show his own strength.

"Hm... Lightning attacks? Interesting..." David said with a serious and quiet voice as he slammed his long hair on the ground and gave force to himself to jump high and dodge the incoming attack before it could hit him. Then, while he was on the air, the bounty hunter said "Hairicopter!" as his hair started taking the form of a helix on the top of his head and started spinning, making him stay on the air. David was showing off a technique that he never used against Mary before... This time he was going all out against her... He would use all of his strength and his techniques in order to beat her and bring an end to the rivalry that David thought they had.

While still on the air, the hair arms he had created earlier started hitting the one that had the impact dial inside it. As they hit it, the impact dial gathered more and more strength and was charging up. With the energy he would get from it, the bounty hunter would unleash one of his most powerful attacks in an attempt to beat the wanted woman. What was he planning to do?

As soon as the energy was charged to the point he wanted, David started moving towards Mary. When he was next to her, the hair arm that had the impact dial inside it started moving towards her while the bounty hunter said "Hair Blast!" as he got ready to unleash the energy that the Impact Dial absorbed on her. Would he succeed or not? He would find out soon... Very soon...

Stan struggled to keep up with Ren's relentless onslaught of stabbing, ending up with his large ill fitting coat being torn up and even managed to get a rather nasty gash on his forearm. As Stan eyed the strange toxin that was seeped onto Ren's blades, he merely mumbled; "I'm starting to think you've got something against me.", as he stabbed forward at her with his injured arm put stared in shock as limply fell to his side before it even reached at the female swordswoman. "This is going to be hassel.", Stan complained tiredly.

Mary frowned as David prepared his impact dial. She knew exactly what he was doing from both her own experience as well as watching him fight Hyde. And she knew just how deadly that attack could be if it hit her. She would not-could not- let that happen. So she too began preparing for the upcoming strike by hitting a second switch on her spear. This switch began to build up the charge in her weapon just like David was building up charge in his dial.

Mary pulled her spear back when David started to move towards her. He was coming in fast, preparing to strike at her with his impact dial. Mary didn't move as he approached. She was waiting for the right moment. Just as David came into range to hit her, she jumped back and swung her weapon around, unleashing a bolt of blue lightning at David from the back of her spear.

"Catalyst Bolt!"

Nick looked back at his allies nervously. He took note of how David seemed to be doing okay, but Mary seemed unconcerned as he was approaching her with an impact dial. On the other side, Stan was having trouble with Ren. The two women were proving to be much more difficult than originally anticipated. Then suddenly there came a bright flash of lightning from David's duel and Nick, who was still watching Stan's fight, saw Stan get cut by one of Ren's attacks and then fail with one of his own!

Nick wanted to help them. He really did, but the memory of the moving rocks where Hyde had been buried kept him rooted in place. This whole situation stunk, but he could not risk helping them. Not if Hyde came out and distracted his allies while they were fighting. That could change the whole course of the battle. He would just have to trust his allies and hope that they could pull through.

"I do!" Ren growled at Stan. She grinned as his arm fell. "And I will have my revenge!" She swung one of her rapiers at Stan's still working arm to hold off its blade while she thrust her other rapier at his chest. "You will pay for what you did to my brother!"

As the bolt of blue lightning was unleashed towards David, the bounty hunter tried to dodge the attack by blocking it with his hair. He covered his whole body with the hair, but in the end he ended up getting shocked... The attack was too powerful for him to block it with his hair. However, he blocked quite some damage and so he did not get seriously injured. One more attack, though like this could be more than enough to take him down.

With smoke coming out of his body because the electricity slightly burnt a part of his hair, he looked towards Mary. The woman was still standing while he had taken damage. He would have to go with a technique that would be powerful enough to beat her at one shot... But what could that technique be? He did not know...

"Damn it..." David said, while a hair arm he had slammed the ground, showing the Bounty Hunter's anger because he was at a disadvantage while fighting against the woman. "I cannot lose this time... I cannot..." he said, and all of his hair arms pointed towards her, as well as David's own arms, prepared for a battle. How would things go? Would he win or not?

Stan had a moment of panic as Ren stabbed towards his chest, to which he quickly lowered his head enough to use his mouth held knife to stop the rapier, inches from his chest and almost cut himself with the emrgency block, before kicking to the side with his heel flick knife to knock away the rapier, and trying to leap away a few feet to make some distance. "Revenge is such a hassel, plus theres a huge chance I haven't killed him, I defenitely hope not because he probably has a heft sum on his head, whoever your brother is.", Stan babbled to the dangerous advesery, then sighing for a moment before adding; "I really wish I didn't have to do this but, I guess i'm gonna put some effort in.", standing ready to fight bach against his foe, after placing the knife held by his injured arm back in his pocket and pushing his own arm back up the sleeve of his large coat and under back in the torso area.
