-Appearance information-
Physical appearance: The most distinctive aspect of his appearance are the tribal tattoos covering his entire body, although the two elbows on each arm are quite distinctive aswell ofcourse. Nonetheless, the black tribal tattoos over his entire tanned body and face catch anyone's eye instantly. Before he joined the path of pirates he usually ran around in a black loincloth through the Kenzan Island's jungle. His bushy hair and rather large, unkempt goatee make him look far more savage than he is. His imposing 7 feet wellbuilt body is quite impressive aswell. Nowadays he usually wears baggy black pants with a red sjawl holding it up around his waiste.
Body: His build is more than atlethic thanks to the hard reality that he lived in, he is a buff muscular man of about 7 feet tall and weighing in around 170 pounds. His chestnut body is covered in black tribal tattoos and his large hands are the size that they leave the impression they could crush a child's skull with ease.
Face: His face has a strong jaw with a prominent jawline and with bushy eyebrows and a broad nose he's clearly a member of the Longarm Tribesmen. With rounded ears, keen on hearing approaching footsteps so that he isn't caught unaware, one of junglelife's traits, and with rather large but predatorlike black eyes he is deemed a true hunter by his tribe.
Hair: Kh'Ryll's hair hangs barely over his shoulder but is so bushy it could almost be considered an afro. It's dominant shade is of a deep black with streaks of nightfalldark in them. His eyebrows are jetblack aswell and his large, bushy goatee is inkblack but with a few, very subtle white hairs in between them.
Non visual information: His voice is loud and bolsterous when allowed, when needed he utilizes body language and handmotions to indicate what he has planned or what he's about to do. For instance, if the crew he's a part of decides to perform a sneak attack on a village, he will not start yelling through the nightsky to inform everyone what he's about to do. Instead he'll use animal whistles and body language. He's a prideful man, especially when it comes to his origin. He realizes he has still much to learn regarding his powers and specialty, but he is an eager student of life, learning lessons from everything that comes his way. His smell and gaze are predatorlike, most docile animals will run away when he approaches but most humanoides won't take notice.
Extra features: He has 2 elbows on each arm and tribal tattoos covering his entire face and body. His elongated arms allow for further reach than normal humans.
Clothing:
His outfit before he joined a crew was usually merely a black loincloth and nothing else, the soles of his feet have become sturdy and resilient enough over the years that he has no need for footwear. And the climate of the island, aswell as the tribe's culture, allowed for near-naked outfits. The extra mobility was also a welcomed aspect of it.
His outfit once he joined the pirate crew is most commonly the baggy, black cottoned pants that go until his ankles and are kept up by means of a red sjawl tied around his waiste. Sometimes he's also seen tying his hair back with a red string.
His other outfit is specifically designed for expeditions and planned warfare, it's a series of deepred, crimson paintmarks over his face and torso. The lowerhalf of his body is still dressed in the normal pirate-outfit. This "outfit" is to strike fear in his enemy's hearts before the battle has even begun
-Personality information-
Personality Overview: He's a survivalist, self-sufficient and predatorlike man. He isn't an alpha male but he sure as hell isn't a push-over. He stands up for what he believes in and eventhough he respects the rankorder, if something happens that he does not agree with he will make sure to have his opinion heard.
If faced with slavedrivers, it is very likely that he will fight and slaughter every last one of them without mercy. Slavedrivers have taken over his tribe and he will never forget a single one of them, no matter what their motives may be.
Likes, Dislikes, Hopes and Fears:
He enjoys the nature's companionship, fauna and flora alike. He knows alot about plantlife and utilizes them to create remedies and the like. Disliking everything about forcing things or matters on people without their consent or without proper reason and especially slave drivers. He hopes to one day come back to Kenzan Island and free his tribe from the clutches of the cruel slave drivers. Fearing that he will not succeed is his only true fear.
-History information-**
Origins and birth:
Born a healthy baby, his spirit was measured by the elders and the shaman of the tribe to see if he was worthy of the "Godfruit". After many incantations and chanting he was finally deemed worthy to receive the Fruit of Gods ( Devil Fruit ) once he was old enough to understand the responsibility. He lived a good life albeit relatively rough considering his tribe was located in an inhospitable environment with many dangers lurking around the corners. He made it through relatively unscatted though. Two of his brothers, one older and one shortly after birth, had passed away before he reached the age of 1.
Adolescence:
Once he reached the age of 12 he was sent on a rite of passage, to put on gloves of fire ants for 5 whole minutes without crying out in pain or fainting.
He passed it flawlessly although soon after the rite had ended he passed out. When he woke up, he found himself in a tent with the elders and the shaman who were praising the Fruit and paying hommage to it before noticing Kh'Ryll had woken up. They explained to him what his fate was, to take in the Fruit and protect the village from harm. He didn't need to think twice, Kh'Ryll accepted the honor and ate the Fruit, granting him the latent powers of the Aura-Aura Fruit.
Adulthood:
His knowledge was limited since he was stuck on this one island of the vast, vast world. He remedied his anxiety and disappointment of his skills by training his DF power vigilantly and regularly. He was respected by all as a great "enchanter" but jealousy grew in some hearts of the bartering tribesmen who performed hard and dangerous work but were meagerly treated with respect.
The change of tides:
One such barterer approached a slaveship and offered them the chance to capture a rare specimen, a fellow tribesman with gifted powers. The slavers took advantage of this foolish man and played their cards right, granting them the location of the tribe and specific info on how to infiltrate it.
Not many nights after that faithful mistake, the pirates snuck unseen into the camp and quickly threw everything in disarray and confusion by igniting huts and watchtowers. The battle was fierce up to the point 7 people showed up onto the battlefield.
They were the slavers' captain and his 6 prime enforcers. 4 of the 7 'harbingers of death' used powers unknown to the Bloodlotus Tribe, they were powers similar to the one Kh'Ryll has in terms of divinity, or hellish in this case, but much more honed and practicioned with deadly expertise. The remaining 3 members were skilled and cruel fighters in their own way, two of them were swordsmen with unorthodox weapons although only vague silhouettes could be seen by Kh'Ryll who was far away, hiding in a tree's foliage.
The last one seemed to be the most powerful and comitted the most horrifying and honorless acts Kh'Ryll had ever seen. Killing people, men/women/children alike, left and right and when he brought the elders in front of him, he performed the most blasphemous, heretic and heineous act ever to be committed by an outsider to a member of the Bloodlotus Tribe. He stole the shaman's soul after mocking him and spitting at him, at least that's what it seemed like to Kh'Ryll who saw the man plunge his open palm onto the shaman's chest and then suddenly his hand moved through the revered shaman's body and pushed out a shimmering, silverflamed item that he held in his hand. The man looked over his shoulder at the shaman who was pleading to give back whatever the man had stolen, only to see it crushed before his eyes. The moment it got crushed the shaman petrified and plunged to his death on the dark soil, his aura had faded before he had even hit the ground.
Howling out in a manic way, the man kicked the shaman's body and sent it flying into the pallistrade of the tribe. Kh'Ryll was overtaken with fear and rage, the only thing holding him in place was his realization that no matter what he wanted to do to those men, at this point in time, there was nothing he could do. So he watched, watched as they rounded up the remaining resistance and either killed them or shackled them in shambles and lead them away along with the surviving women and children. After everyone had left Kh'Ryll stumbled onto the burned tribe's land and sank to his knees. Letting out soultorn tears of hurt, shame and rage as he screamed into the night for hours on end.
The Aftermath:
The next thing he knew he woke up in the jungle, near the Great Tree, the protector of the tribe. He didn't knew how he got there and if someone had brought him there, but he swore on his soul that he would become strong, free his people and punish those responsible for their sorrow and pain. He started to live in alone in the jungle, avoiding the slavers and slaves alike as to not get caught. One day he spotted a pirate ship close to the beach's shore and after waving them closer he explained that he desired to become stronger, strong enough to defeat the horrors that were those men and to do so he requested to join their crew. That was the start of his pirating carreer.
